@luckyblackcat My character would probably be available for a sparring match or two if you'd like. I think sparring matches would be a good way for people to rank up their Pokemon, although I dunno about how to get them healed afterwards... Are Pokemon Centers a thing here?

Bear in mind that if it's Sophia, your chara will get bragged or complained at depending on the outcome. If it's Amber, it should be when she has another Pokemon, seeing as you're starting off with three.

And yes, there are Pokemon centres around.

@luckyblackcat @heckno12 Are you allowing Pokemon from the newest Sun/Moon games? Because I have this idea that could work if I'm allowed to use those Pokes -- all new team, no repeats. Pokemon Showdown has them on their Pokedex, so imma go ahead and flesh my character out with them

@Dusksong I'm 100% allowing the new gen Pokemon. In fact, some of the gym leaders are now due for a change. I mean the usual ban on legendaries obviously applies, at least for now. It raises a few challenges with showdown like you said, but it'll all get figured out.

Other Pokemon I may have her catch along the way include: Garchomp, Ferrothorn, Slowbro(Mega), and Scolipede.

@Dusksong Well, originally they were restricted to eggs and the pokemon you start with. Now though, I think there's no reason to restrict them. You can find Pokemon with hidden abilities in the wild in Sun/Moon after all.

@heckno12 Yay! So, how's the CS looking? Any glaring problems?

Also, how do bicycles/fishing rods work? Can my character own a bicycle like in the game (whipping it out with a poof of air) or are we gunning for something more realistic here?

Also,, would my character be able to carry around something like a Poke Radar? (being a researcher and all... but, I'm fine if you veto it. Maybe an excuse like "there's no wifi/signal around most of the region")

@Dusksong I'm not against a poke-radar(and with her background it makes plenty of sense), nor is there really an issue with having a bike. I think their excuse in game is that it folds up ridiculously well...not sure how much I'd trust a collapsible bike myself.

As for there not being a signal, the radar probably wouldn't function too well in the eastern half of the region.

I really don't see an issue with your character, feel free to migrate her on over to the CS section.

@fer1323 I'd assume any of the department stores could sell them, as for songs to learn...Oscar may be better off using the internet.
