"K-kathrine!" Sel's cheeks flushed as the teasing continued. Nice but - teach her WHAT? Selvina didn't want to imagine what was going on over there, though she immediately became suspicious when she heard 'black fox' and quickly received a message from the same fox who was supposedly 'very busy'. It didn't take much to put two and two together, and the blushing girl scowled slightly as she eventually returned the confused glance the cat was giving her. "Yes, yes, very good. C-copy them again."

A quick look at Avaline's work revealed that while sloppy, the claw-quill technique could be effective. The mage let out a silent prayer as among the two of them only one of them made a slight mistake in the first part of the alphabet. "Avaline, your E is upside down." Gesturing to the paper she had written the letter on, Selvina gestured to it to make the obvious flaw rather apparent.

"Aside from that you've both done well. Why don't you do copy them down a few more times to make sure you understand them." Selvina let out a sigh, relaxing as she realized this is what her tutors had done to her when she was small and they needed a quick break.

Fia smiled - though cringed slightly for the container as it was mercilessly devoured - and eventually responded. "Fruit ... drink, of sorts. Lyssa bought it for me ..." Her voice as usual was quiet, but it would be audible to the two of them.

"... Lyssa is a ... friend ... I met here soon after I arrived ..." The girl looked over towards the hydra, unsure how to introduce her. "... and this is Ritsa, a hydra from Atlantis ..." Fia backed off from the pair a bit, a bit tired from having spoken so much in such a short time. They would probably be fine meeting up and talking for a bit - hopefully they wouldn't spend the entire time talking through her.

Otille Kohler

Otille was a little stunned as her cow playfully caused some property damage with a pounding of her leg into the floor. In that brief moment of hesitation, the farmer quickly found herself being lifted into the air. "C-Cocoa!?" Not only was she naked in the air, but she was about to be tossed some distance!

... until Cocoa fell down for some reason, sending them both splashing down in the water with Cocoa landing on a ledge for sitting in the water. Otille found herself on top, conveniently. The cow put up a token resistance, but it was rather obvious and apparent the farm animal wasn't really trying at all. Otille frowned slightly, some of the fun taken out of the game for her. "Cocoa - are you alright?" Maybe the cow wasn't enjoying their little game? If she was even somewhat trying - even given some effort to be careful - the familiar should have completely wrecked her.

Either way the human was a little disappointed the cow wasn't feeling it - she herself had been in a playful mood as well, and had hoped to have at least a little bit of playtime. Maybe she doubted how mature the cow was - sure she had made a mistake, but there was no way she could have known her little farmer wasn't in danger. "I-I'm sorry, that was a bit childish of me." She was a little surprised the cow hadn't tried at all to really resist.

Astrid Dokkalfar

"Oh my, a parasol. How perceptive." Astrid said, taking the gift. "As for my lodgings... None as of yet, though I do have plenty of pilfe-- I mean, gifted gems I was told were quite valuable. I figured I could do something with those." Astrid said, patting a small sack on her side. "Why do you ask, Miss Fiore? Were you going to offer me a place to stay in that lovely mansion of yours?"

Lunalel Lightsword and Katherine Lindall

Katherine just giggled a bit and scratched the fox behind the ears where it wanted. It was easy enough to do so and pay attention to the dragon speak. The teacher of course knew many of the things and it was better for the students to interact with the guest speaker.

Luna looked at Sorcha almost questioningly. She had asked an obvious question had she not? "Any Knight in the world could answer that. Arthur first became prominent when he pulled the sword, Caliburn, from it's sheath in a stone. At the time, it was said that the true ruler of Britain would pull the sword from the stone and when he did, he set in motion a trail of events that lead him to the throne." Luna answered, all without flinching. It was an obvious tale to her, though maybe not others that were not from Britain or knights.

Eith the Shellagh

Eith seemed almost relieved. Perhaps even touched. If she could, her face would even show her crying. What she did manage to do was grab the two and pull them close for a hug. "My world will change, completely. I'm unsure of how much I will change, but you two will still be that world to me." She stayed like that for a minute before releasing the two and pulling back. "I'm hungry. Shall we eat before we head over?"

Sorcha & Black fox

"Ps. Master should not be so angry when teaching someone. It only makes the student feel worse. People learn at their own pace. I you can't handle two idiots, you won't get anywhere in the teaching business. Since most people are in fact, idiots, just like you." With that last mental note from the fox, she simply continued to enjoy the pets from Katherine.

"Aha, yes yes!" Sorcha replied brightly. "Arthur's first weapon was not in fact, the long-lost legendary sword known as Excalibur. Some of you may not have known that, since there are conflicting theories of that but Caliburn was his first. As Merlin liked to put it, the Sword in the Stone was the sword of a promised future where he would be king, and Excalibur itself was proof of his kingship." Sorcha gave her students a few seconds to process this information. Ah, she wished she was in her natural, true form. She could tell such better stories like that.

"Now, does anyone know what he did after he received the sword from the stone?"

Avaline

Oh, it was upside down.

"Yes capitan!" Avaline raised a claw to her hand and began repeating the letters of the alphabet A through F. She easily fixed her mistake with having the 'E' upside down and went on to copying the rest of the letters repeatedly. As she did so, the wyrm hummed a pleasant tune to herself, tail swaying back and forth quietly as she worked, focusing entirely on the task at hand. By the time she was done, she had at least six different rows of letters done.

Except

Each one had an entirely different mistake of varying ridiculousness. The first one had the bridge on the letter 'A' moved to the top of the arch. The second had the letter 'C' had an extra arm making it look more like an E. The third had the letter F entirely replaced with a scribble of some sort. The rest had similar, though small mistakes but it was noted she didn't mess up putting the E upside down again so she hadn't made the same mistake again. She showed her handy work to Selvina, seemingly proud of what she had now accomplished.

Cocoa

As soon as Otille had been lifted over her head, the cow grinned eagerly. She made a motion that made it seem like she was about to toss the human before she conveniently slipped, ending up falling over and making sure the human ended up on top of her.

"Oh no, I have been tipped." Cocoa replied in a mildly comical deadpan fashion as Otille began asking if she was alright. The cow sat up, and for the most part she looked fine. "Huh? I'm fine! Otille is just really super strong, yep!" That was a really bad lie, but the cow didn't want to end up hurting Otille. Besides, she wasn't entirely sure if she should have won in the first place.

"Eeeh? Childish?" Cocoa tilted her head curiously to the side. "No it wasn't. Otille isn't a child so therefore not childish!" It was simple, very bad logic but the cow seemed to believe it.

Lyssa & Ritsa

"Waaaah? Atlantis?" Lyssa enthusiastically bolted over to Ritsa, giving the small Hydra child a full 360 degree inspection of the Hydra child in front of her before immediately turning back to Fia, rubbing the back of her head in a mildly embarrassed manner. "...Aha, wait, Fia called me a friend."

"Hmmm..." Ritsa herself was staring at Lyssa, squinting her eyes as she stared at the demon in front of her. The Hydra didn't seem to fully process everything, but if the pretty red liked her, then she was fine! "...Ah!" After a few seconds, Ritsa pointed at Lyssa. "Messy-hair!"

"Huuh? My hair's not messy! It's stylishly wind-swept!" Lyssa replied with a giggle. The two seemed to be getting along, at least.

Livia

"Well, you are my student starting today." Livia replied. "If you would be willing, I can have a room arranged for you there easily enough." By now they had come full circle, back to Livia's villa. She opened the door, letting Astrid enter the building first. "If you wish, of course. Though I would recommend it. Being my student is going to be...rather strict, mind you. I doubt you of all people would want to run halfway across the city from wherever it is your staying to here every morning before dawn, fufu." She chuckled lightly, but there was a definite seriousness in her voice. She meant what she had said - she wasn't going to go easy on the girl as far as actually training her went.

In other ways, though...well, she could have a bit of fun with her.

"Today though, feel free to get adjusted to the rest of the city today. Or simply loiter about...I certainly won't mind it if you do." As she walked back towards the couch, she continued. "Ah, I should inform you there's a dinner tonight involving a few high ranking diplomats. Even Atalantis' princess will be joining us...as well a few people from the underworld. The seat of Wrath and the seat of Envy will be joining us tonight, as well as a few high ranking mages. Do be on your best behavior, hm? I was hoping the seat of greed would show up so I can use him to bother a certain dragon, but i couldn't even tempt that princess with free food...tsk~" She mused to herself.

Miren & Khira

"Oh-oh..." Miren enjoyed the embrace, though having her face be at level with Khira's boobs was a bit embarrassing.

"Ahaha, if there's one thing I am confident of, it's that my Alpha will always be a shameless glutton." Khira teased after the embrace.

"Yes, I'll make us something delicious, Eith." Miren said, quickly moving about the kitchen, preparing some well cooked and seasoned chicken, turkey, and steak for the three of them. The rabbit was happily hopping around the kitchen in a quick fashion, obviously in a good mood. Meanwhile, Khira and Eith were left alone as they were. The Chimaera didn't say much, though she seemed to be in a similar good mood.

Sel sighed as she looked over at Avaline's work, and even a few of Meowka's characters had flaws as well ... The mage simply tossed out Sly's inputs into her thoughts - whether the fox could hear her from the classroom or was simply somehow otherwise aware of what was going on didn't matter too much. And now that Kat had stopped with her ... commentary ... it was easier for the mage to focus on her two students.

This was going to be a long day - and thinking about the event tonight, it would be longer still. She needed to talk to Sly, and she also was going to have to meet her parents. The whole gender thing was enough - though they were already aware of that. She just was curious about how she was going to get Sly to try and behave, at least a little ...

Fia smiled, appreciating the banter between the two quietly as her legs went back and forth in front of her. 'Messy Hair' and 'Devours Everything' seemed to be getting along well, which was relaxing. And it was nice to have Ritsa around too - she'd been great for finding excuses not to do paperwork, and in spite of herself the phoenix had come to miss her.

For now, the girl's eyes simply drifted between the pair, obviously removing herself from the immediate interaction as she allowed them to learn about eachother. Perhaps they'd figure out something the three of them could do together?

"Ritsa ... here for party?" Livia had mentioned something about a get together for all of the nobles that were aligned with the headmistress. Did that mean Nitsa "Mommy" was here too?

Otille Kohler

Otille frowned a bit but smiled as the cow decided with her own very special brand of logic that it had not, in fact, been childish. The farmer decided to let the matter drop as she hugged the tall familiar in front of her - it was honestly slightly difficult given the size of Cocoa's chest.

Otille let go, backing away for a couple of steps before giving a slightly mischievous grin to the farm animal. "Well thanks, Cocoa. I guess I am super strong, hmmm? Maybe I should be the one worrying about you getting hurt ..." Maybe letting the matter drop would a bit boring, actually. "So, Cocoa, what do I get for winning?"

Astrid Dokkalfar

"A dinner party with such important people?" Astrid questioned. Bah! That would be annoying to be subjected to. She had no desire to be tangled in such a mess so she was lucky Livia pretty much told her to find something else to do in the meantime. "I suppose I could walk around town a bit and figure out some things that I hadn't before. Perhaps enjoy some sweets or something of the sort. Though, I would take you on your offer of a living space, if you are still offering." She added, ready to go for such a thing. If it meant she could be closer, it was a great idea to her.

Lunalel Lightsword and Katherine Lindall

"From what I have noticed, history is a unsure. Since pulling Caliburn, Arthur would have been King so I believe it would be safe to assume that this would be the time that he gathered his Knights of the Round Table." Luna said, giving her best answer. There were plenty of stories that went around about the Greatest King of England so there were many things he could of done next, so only someone that was there could know. "Of course, I can only know the legends, and only someone there could know the truth." She said, looking to Sorcha with curious eyes.

Meanwhile, Katherine stayed over a little bit. She of course paid attention to what everyone was saying, but she was also still petting the fox. "Anywhere specific you little fuzzy thing?" She had to ask.

Eith the Shellagh

Eith would almost seem embarrassed about being called a shameless glutton. Too bad she couldn't really show such things yet. Still, she was happy when she heard Miren was going to cook. "Good. Me and Khira both love your food, Miren. It'll be good to go into this on a full stomach with the best food in the world." She looked at Khira, wanting the Chimera to agree with her. It wasn't something to dispute was it?

Sorcha & Black fox

"Ah, indeed! The knights of the round table. A legendary order of warriors that Arthur assembled to save Britania from evil, invaders, and bring chivalry and peace to the land once again." Sorcha mused, flourishing one of her wings. "I wasn't with him for a majority of this time. I spent most of my time being Merlin's familiar for most of this part of my history...but you see, there's a little part of history that needs to be said here before we continue. Tell me, is the name Vortigern familiar to any of you?"

"Hrmm~" Fox was curled up in Katherine's lap, taking her sweet enjoyment from this while she could. "My tail. Fluff my tail." That of course, was a trick. If Katherine did in fact, decide to touch it she'd get a nice little shock. She might be clever or knowledgeable enough to know that was, in fact, a trick and could opt for petting somewhere else if she liked.

Cocoa

"Aha, Otille couldn't hurt me! I'm a cow!" She brightly replied. "I am tough and strong and can lift twice my weight! And-and...." what did Otille get for winning anyways? She didn't have money...or anything really, aside from her undying loyalty and friendship to Otille. Well, she did have one thing she could potentially offer the farm girl.

"Ah! You get fresh milk!" The cow grinned, emphasizing her chest with an eager look.

Lyssa & Ritsa

"Ah? Party? Ni-ni visiting purple lady." Ritsa simply replied. "Said Ritsa could play with pretty red-head, so found you." She grinned, hopping quickly back over to Fia, grabbing the redheads hands with her own and waving them up and down.

"Ehe, oh that party. Mom wants me to go but I think I'ma skip myself. Eurgh. Envy will be there and I don't do well with her and her...tentacles...aha..." Lyssa chuckled, playing with a loose strand of hair. Oh right, she wasn't supposed to talk about that. "BUuuut anyways! Ritsa, right? Hows about you hang with us, huh? I'm taking Fia on a date today after rescuing her from the clutches of a demon maid."

"Yes! Ritsa will go with pretty red and Messy-hair!" The Hydra grinned, vigorously pulling Fia off in a random direction.

Livia

"Not interested in politics my dear?" Livia mused, pursing her lips in a mildly playful fashion, though her tone was slightly disapproving. "You should at least work to form...working relationships with people. Such things can often get you quite a few favors and opportunities." She chuckled. That said, she wasn't going to make her new student take interest in such things, though she really should consider her unique position. She could leverage quite a bit of power from people should she care too.

"Ah, but yes, I shall have a servant arrange a room for you should you like. For now though, I must rest a bit. My old body isn't quite what it used to be." If Astrid didn't say anything else, Livia would let her do as she pleased for the rest of the night.

Miren & Khira

"Well, I'd be partial to tasting the rabbit herself," Khira teased, causing Miren to shrink a bit, almost stumbling over her feet as she continued to prepare a meal for the tree of them. "But yes, her food is quite delicious, though my taste isn't quite as refined as some, heh." She was used to eating half-raw food after all. She wasn't exactly a gourmet creature with high maintenance.

"Khiiiira," Miren whined slightly. "Would you please not make jokes at my expense?" She asked in a tired fashion, finishing up cooking a pot of stew.

"Haha, but little rabbit, you make the cutest noises."

"G-Ahh!" Fia was a little surprised to find herself being dragged in some random direction by the always over-energetic Ritsa. The phoenix's protests were cut off as she focused on regaining her feet - and then walking along side her friend as they held hands together.

Soon enough they found themselves in a small park like area - which was convenient, since the 'princess' (Fia still had her doubts) didn't have any cash. A brief look around revealed a large playground which confused Fia for a couple of seconds - weren't most of the students here too old for such things at Sappho? The reason for the playground's existence was quickly revealed though as Fia watched two young familiars - a dog girl and cat boy - chase eachother up and down the playground in circles. Or rather, watched the dog girl chase the cat boy as he remained high and safe from their predator. On a bench nearby, a giggling couple holding hands wearing similar colors to the familiar's collars revealed who was watching.

It was obvious this place was intended for young or otherwise overly energetic familiars to burn off that excess energy. Such as Ritsa. Fia eyed the girl curiously, wondering if she'd start chasing and tormenting the dog girl at the bottom and make the 'predator' into 'prey'.

Or maybe she'd just eat the playground.

Otille Kohler

Otille looked down at her two large 'prizes' before blushing slightly and raising her eyes back up towards the cows. Was it really possible Cocoa had no idea what she was talking about? She was a prize milk cow, and it wasn't surprising after all those years of being milked she was a little proud of what her udders produced ... but undoubtedly she knew that humans treated those organs with other feelings as well?

"I-It's okay, Cocoa. W-why don't you just braid my hair instead?" The blush intensified for a moment - for everyone involved sakes she hoped the cow didn't understand that was her human body's way of conveying emotions. The farm girl turned her back towards the cow, pulling her hair behind the tub and leaning over the edge comfortably

Astrid Dokkalfar

"When one stays "human" as long as yourself, rest would be good after a long day and before an important event." The Elf said. "But yes, I will take you up on your offer if you don't mind putting me up somewhere. For now though, don't worry about me, go get your rest." Astrid added, looking off and finding a maid of the mansion. "I'll go bother your staff, if you don't mind." With a small curtsy, the small Elf ran off to a certain maid and her icy friend.

"She was a big cat. A nekomata I thought but I guess she was just a cat familiar. Either way, I took her to Miss Aetheria. She was nicer than she seemed though. She gave me this cake!" Mugi said, presenting her spoils of war to her ever unimpressed looking love. "But that's how my day has been." She said, proudly making her chest puff out.

"Oh my, that looks delicious." Astrid said as she approached the pair. "A teacher at this school made that?" She giggled a bit, feigning friendliness. "How precious. None of my teachers back home would ever do such a thing." She also forgot to mention that she backstabbed all of them when she could. "Ahhh, but where are my manners? My name is Astrid... Dokkalfar. The new apprentice to one Miss Livia Fiore. A pleasure." If Cynthia listened well enough, she might have even heard a small, "I'm sure." Under the Elf's breath.

Lunalel Lightsword and Katherine Lindall

"But I just want to pet your cute little head." Katherine teased as a doll made it's way over with a little feather duster and started to fluffle the fox's little tail. Katherine would hardly notice a shock as is, though she knew this fox was a trickster and might try something any time. Either way, she continued to pet the fox's head gently.

Meanwhile, Luna and the rest of the class listened to Sorcha. "Vortigern? The name is familiar. A King of Briton, though stories of long past I've yet to hear. I should assume that's to come next?" She asked.

Eith the Shellagh

Eith looked pouty at Khira as she got up and put her arms around Miren. "That is true, but she's my Miren. And my noises." The Shellagh said as she kept her arms around the bunny's neck, almost lovingly. "Ahh, but I should leave you to cooking. It's probably difficult to do so when you have my arms around your neck." She added, taking her arms off and taking a step back, though keeping her eyes on what the bunny was cooking. She was feeling especially hungry with what she was cooking.

Sorcha & Black fox

"Bah," Fox mused. "It's no fun when I have to work for it." She grunted, whacking the doll in the face with her tail and sending it off balance with an audible crackle of energy.

"Indeed, an old king of Briton that ruled around the time Arthur pulled the sword from the stone." The dragon walked over to the board, taking a piece of chalk and starting to write, beginning to quickly illustrate the history for the students, taking up most of the board in the process. "A vile, vicious, corrupt king if there ever was any. Tyrannical and power hungry, he wanted Briton for himself." She made a flourish with one of her wings, revealing her artwork to the class - a rather comical drawing of Arthur pulling the sword from the stone and a drawing of some angry looking human with a crown on his head.

"You see, he heard of this young Arthur pulling a sword from the stone, and he immediately went to arrest the young Arthur and collect the sword, Caliburn for himself." Sorcha then went on to explain briefly Arthur's rise to power and how he recruited and collected the rest of the Knights - and their climactic battle with Vortigern in which, of course, their most important ally made herself known.

"So, while Arthur and a handful of his knights fought their way to the castle amidst thousands upon thousands of Vortigerns men, they needed a certain dragon to deal with most of the rest of the army." She grinned, holding a hand to her face as she slightly...embellished the rest of the story. "Arthur and Merlin came to me, and begged for the help of a mighty, powerful dragon such as I. I almost had half a mind to tell Merlin to shove off, but after being promised all the treasure in Vortigern's treasury, I couldn't say no, now could I? So, during the midst of battle, I swooped down, bringing lightning, thunder, and death to all that would oppose Arthur."

Confidently wearing a smug expression, she finished.

"So you see, I am the most important hero in this tale because without me, they would never have made it past Vortigern's men in the first place."

Cocoa

"Ah! Sure!" Cocoa grinned, sitting behind Otille, running her hand through the humans hair a few times before humming a light little tune to herself as she set to work braiding Otille's hair. "But really! You haven't milked me in awhile, these things are getting a bit annoying." She harrumphed playfully, unconsciously pressing them into the humans back. "Ooh, I had a great idea! We could sell it! My milks the best milk in the city, I guarantee it!"

Lyssa & Ritsa

Ritsa barely gave Fia time to take in the surroundings. The Hydra yanked Fia right into the playground, pulling her into the center of it and looking around herself. Only seconds later, the Hydra gave the redhead a thumbs up and an impish grin before slowly getting on all fours and crawling quietly over to the dog who was tormenting the cat.

Once behind her, she leaped up hissing threateningly at the young familiar.

Lyssa for the most part was content to watch from the sidelines.

Miren & Khira

"So greedy, Alpha." Khira mused. "No one left for me. How cruel...perhaps I should play with you instead, then?" She chuckled, giving Eith's butt a playful slap with her tail before sauntering off to the other room.

"Ahah, yes, it is rather hard to cook when you're erm, clinging to me." She giggled, taking a few steps away from Eith before walking back over to the kitchen. On the menu today - sweet ham and fish, with potatoes, green beans, and spinach. The rabbit worked quickly, using her expert agility to almost dance around the kitchen in her usual fashion, swiftly finishing the dishes and placing them on the counter when they were done. Once everything was finished, she placed the food on the table, giving Eith two large, well cooked hams.

"Whew, maybe when you're better you'd like to help?" Miren asked Eith as she took a seat at the table. "You guys eat a looot of food y'know."

Cynthia

"..." Cynthia said nothing, merely patted Mugi on the head. Oh, she was just so adorable when she was so excited - not that the maid would ever say that aloud so easily, though. We'll enjoy it later when I'm less busy. I had a black rat, a pervert, and an drunk ox break in and kidnap the young miss Fia...breaking a window in the process." Cynthia replied curtly, finishing dusting an expensive vase. "I hope they don't have jobs anywhere." There was a definite bit of dangerous edge to the maids voice, but before she could finish the thought she was interrupted by an elf.

Upon Astrid's introduction, Cynthia gave her a quick, cold glance.

Tsk, this elf was interrupting her time with her sweet. She should just punt this midget across the room.

"...Cynthia Belrose. Head Maid and personal servant of Mistress Fiore." She introduced herself curtly. "Now if you don't mind, I must finish preparing for the party tonight and I do not need small distractions."

Fia wasn't surprised as the hydra began to give chase to a surprised dog girl, who sprinted away as a new 'apex predator' entered into town. It was a little odd how the familiar seemed to institutionally know that Ritsa wasn't simply edible lizard and rather was far, far bigger. Or it might have simply been the hissing and a showing of a line of very, very pointy teeth. Whatever the girl's reasoning, Fia had some faith that the golden tailed girl would be able to stay away from Ritsa for quite a while. After all, dogs were natural sprinters.

With a sigh of relief that she wouldn't be the target today, the phoenix turned around to give Lyssa a smile.

A boy with cat ears occupied most of her vision when she turned, probably having snuck behind her. Shit. Fia barely managed to dodge a pounce from the kitten as she too began to run away. For now, Lyssa didn't seem to have anyone chasing her as demons were outside of the natural bird-cat-dog-hydra foodchain it seemed.

"H-hey!"

The two nobles on the bench started laughing harder as the two familiars added themselves to the chaotic fray. Would Ritsa help Fia, or would she continue to chase the fleeing puppy?

Otille Kohler

It was a good thing that Cocoa seemed to know how to braid hair, and obviously better that it had managed to distract Cocoa from the prev-

Gods she was so happy the cow couldn't see her blush right now. Still though, she buried her face into her hands as she continued to lean over the edge of the pool ... was it still her job to milk her familiar, or should she teach Cocoa how to do it herself? She'd never heard of 'familiar milk' being sold before, so she wasn't sure how it'd taste or if there was even a market for it. But it was likely becoming a little bothersome for the cow as the pressure was likely building up.

"I um, dunno how this works now that you are a familiar, Cocoa." Otille answered honestly. "I-I'll ask someone how we should err, handle the excess production." There certainly was likely a bit more than a little excess as the globes continued to press into her back.

It was embarrassing, but maybe Luna would know what to do about this?

Astrid Dokkalfar

"We shall be seeing each other around then, Miss Maid." Astrid said with a smirk. The maid had just given her an insult. "I'm sorry if you think I'm such a minor distraction. I was just wanting to get to know all those who were here." She said, almost completely convincingly innocent.

Mugi fell for it at least. She tried to see the best in everyone after all. "No need to be so cold, see? She's just being friendly." Mugi said looking to the small elf girl. She nodded to herself before switfly turning to Cynthia. "I can help you set up, dear!?" The Yuki-Onna exclaimed, as she noticed her leave the room.

Astrid giggled a bit. There was a bit of a relationship between these two? Well, this one seemed a foreigner as well so maybe she was misusing words... "If I'm a small distraction, I can only imagine you're a big distraction." The elf said whilst pointing at the large lumps on the Snow Woman's chest.

Mugi blushed. Did... This little girl just suggest something absurd yet... Not really absurd at all? She did, didn't she?

Lunalel Lightsword and Katherine Lindall

The doll fell backward but was otherwise fine. It stood up and shook it's "fist" at the fox before walking away as annoyed as it could look. Katherine didn't much like it, but she should have known better, really. "You should be more careful with other people's things you know? It'd be bad for someone who knows everything going on in campus to have an extra eye on you." She gave a veiled, yet not really meaningful threat. She sounded like she was joking as she scratched behind the fox's ear.

The whole class was otherwise enthralled with Sorcha's story of Vortigern and Arthur. A tale of heroism and injustice... Then the self insert of the dragons's made Luna laugh a bit. Of course Sorcha thought of herself as the hero of the tale. It wasn't big hearty one that would disrupt class but something slightly more than a giggle, being helf back by the Knightess' hand. She just muttered after her giggling. "Good old Sorcha."

Eith the Shellagh

Eith sat at where her bunny had set the food. Two hams... While not something to fill her capacity, hardly anything was. Luckily... Since she had that odd trance state a while back, her food consumption has lower drastically. Rather than the perpetual hunger she had felt before, it was mitigated greatly to the point of not worrying about being hungry every hour. IT was only every other hour now. A fifty percent reduction she had been told.

Doll in Livia's room

The doll in here had laid dormant for most of the day. Livia wasn't in here as much as one might expect, though it had plenty of up time. As Livia entered her room, the Doll came to life. It'd hate to bother the woman, but it found a piece of paper and a writing utensil. "Hi there, Livia deary. When are we helping that mutt out? I'm having a dragon teach the kids of her first hand experience with Arthur Pendragon. Thought that might be better than teaching them how the ancient greeks were the first to come up with the basic elements. -Your Favorite, Well, maybe not so much anymore?"

Sorcha & Black fox

"Aha, is that a threat?" The black fox mused towards Katherine. "Watch me all you want. If you know someone's watching, it makes it all the easier to evade them." That almost sounded like a challenge - or perhaps her nonchalant tone meant she really didn't care one way or another.

"So you see, Arthur may be a legendary King, but even he wouldn't have won without the help of yours truly. My help was so much so appreciated that I was even offered a spot on the round table, and Arthur personally trained me in the ways of chivalry, knighthood, and to wield almost every weapon man had." It was clear the dragon was letting this go to her head a bit from her smug and proud seeming demeanor.

"If you were so important, then why has no one ever heard of you in the legends?" Sorcha turned to face the student who posed the question, a smile that seemed perhaps just a bit too friendly forming on her lips.

"Because," She smiled pleasantly. "I killed all of them, so they couldn't record my presence." Static electricity sparked between her horns as an oppressive feeling fell over the classroom, silencing that line of questioning from the students.

Cocoa

"Oookay!~" Cocoa replied cheerily. "But why can't you just do it by hand? Your hands were always so gentle and soft." She giggled, hands quickly braiding Otille's hair. "I'd brag to the other cows about how soft your hands were, hehe! So kind, loving, and gentle." Whatever Otille's reaction were to her words, Cocoa didn't seem to pay much attention as she quickly finished braiding her hair.

"Anyyyyways, done done!"

Lyssa & Ritsa

Ritsa heard Fia's call for help, immediately doing a 180 and pulling off an almost impossibly good feat of acrobatics, leaping over the air and landing right next to the cat with a heavy thud, suggesting weight more than her small frame would suggest. The Hydra grinned, sharp teeth reminiscent of an angler fish filling her mouth.

"Hey hey!" She pointed at the cat. "Leave pretty red alone. She's mine."

Miren & Khira

The meal passed in relative peace and levity as the three ate. Miren always enjoyed her own cooking, and it was nice to see others like it as well. Traveling as much as she had, it was nice to have it be so appreciated. Maybe she'd make something from the orient, or from across the ocean next time. Khira was used to simple dishes, roasting them over the fire with perhaps the occasional spice harvested from the forest. It was a nice change of pace for one as old as she was.

"Phew, ehe, how was it girls?" Miren asked.

"Delicious as always, rabbit." Khira replied. "In find it amusing a rabbit would likely be able to prepare themselves so well for a predator."

"K-khira please stop making jokes at my expense."

Cynthia

Cynthia narrowed her eyes at the elf.

"Time for pleasantries will be later. I am working and doing something far more important than babysitting an elf." Cynthia harrumphed, sharply turning away from Astrid and ignoring the comment about her love's chest. Well, it certainly was one type of a distraction, but not a distraction she entirely minded. Really though, this elf...was almost as bad as Livia was. Cynthia sighed, walking down the hallway as she continued. "Mugi, if you would be so kind as to escort Miss Astrid to her quarters. I believe there is a vacant room across from You Miss Fia's. I will inform the rest of the staff promptly."

Livia

Livia walked into her room, tired after a rather easy day all things considered. Urgh, she was getting old. No doubt about it, and magic had prolonged her life for about as much as she was able too. She took a seat on her bed, laying back on it and taking a moment to relax, only to be interrupted by one of Katherine's dolls as it wrote something on a loose sheet of paper.

"Hm, soon as classes are over so within the next Hour." She replied to the doll. "And please, Katherine. If you have any doubts about you being my favorite student...well, maybe It's about time I took you on a study date again, hmm?"

The cat looked at Ritsa as she landed, a little stunned for a moment. But after a second or two, the girl grinned excitedly. Was a lizard challenging him against this ... bird smelling thing? Why was the bird smelling thing hers to begin with? "Pretty red - She's yours? Hmph. I doubt that. She smells too nice for that." However Fia backed away from the pair a bit, sliding up the jungle gym for a couple moments as if getting to a safer location. As for the cat boy, he leaned down slightly as if he was ready to pounce or dodge.

The dog girl was still running, and a brief glance from Lyssa would reveal that she was by her owner 'protecting' her from the evil, scary hydra that had been chasing her.

Otille Kohler

Otille blushed more as Cocoa insisted ... maybe that was the right thing to do? She supposed she could take one of the buckets on the side of the pool. After all, it seemed like her familiar was in pain and that was somewhat her responsibility, right? She didn't want Cocoa to suffer while she was gone on a date. "I ... I guess so."

It wouldn't be too bad just once, right? Even if she wasn't supposed to?

Otille got out of the water, pulling Cocoa lightly after her as she collected a bucket. "M-make you-yourself comfortable. I-I'll get started when you are." It would be obvious and apparent that the naked mage was both nervous, embarrassed, and slightly confused about how this would go.

Astrid Dokkalfar

"I won't consider this running in the face of a challenge Miss Maid, perhaps we can trade wits over tea sometime." The Elf said as her mental opponent went off to her duties. Such was the life of a maid. Much like her mother. It made Astrid feel a slight bit of pity for her, really. Though this woman seemed to have it better. "Yes, then. Miss Mugi was it? Would you kindly show me the way?" She asked.

"Huh?! Oh! Yes! F-follow me!" Mugi said, slightly distracted by giving her love a goodbye wave. "It's this way." Mugi added as she led the small elf to a room across from this "Fia". A neighbor it seemed. Perhaps she should introduce herself... Eventually. Hopefully, casually as she was walking but for now she entered the room. "Ummm, if you need anything cold or straightened up, I guess you can call me. I can't really do anything with heat, so I apologize for that." Mugi said with a bow.

"Oh, no, thank you for this much." Astrid said, waving the Yuki-Onna off. It was a decently sized room, as one would expect from a Villa of this such. It didn't have too much really, a bed and a bookcase. Luckily, it had a desk, but that was about it. Well, at least she could make just about anything she needed out of stone or something. For now though, "I wonder when they do dinner around here."

Lunalel Lightsword and Katherine Lindall

"A threat? Oh please, that's not a threat, just a fact. I keep an eye on all the interesting things around here. You, those two girls that came with you, my familiars, and the headmistress. It's kind of amazing how dolls can hide in plain sight." Katherine said, giggling. Of course, this little creature was adorable.

"Chivalry, huh?" Luna muttered to herself. "If she knew it, then maybe she should show it sometimes." She scoffed. Still, the dragon was fairly confidant regardless. There were likely embellishments but that probably didn't matter way too much.

Katherine seemed to light up slightly. "Hmm. Is your story finished then, Miss Dragon?" She asked, petting the fox a bit more. "If so, I believe we can call class quits for the day. If you remember our little expedition not long ago, we're helping that hound with her issue today." She stood up but picked up the fox to see if she'd go along for now.

Eith the Shellagh

Eith nodded happily. "Yes, it's delicious." The Shellagh said, wishing for more but knew it'd probably not be great to ask the bunny for more. They needed to leave soon after all. She did look at Khira though. "Yes, Khira, stop teasing her. I want to tease her when I get better so I want to make sure she's not tired of it by then." It probably would have been a good statement for the bunny, had the last part not been there. Still, the Shellagh seemed proud of herself for saying that.

Doll in Livia's room

"Those can be rather fun." The doll wrote out before just sitting down by the bedside for a minute before it wrote something else. "Did you need a message or anything? I've heard older people like those." The doll teased, though the offer was legitimate.

Kozue Komichi

Kozue had been out doing her everyday training routine since she got here, with the addition of a certain priest. They got along fairly well. There seemed to be a mutual hate for demons so that was nice. Still, she had to come "home" at some point. Aetheria seemed fairly insistent on that earlier. It was a bit later than the woman had told her, but she didn't care too much. "I've returned." She said, as she looked around the clinic for the woman.

Sorcha & Black fox

"Hrmph. Well, whatever." The fox let Katherine pick her up, not seeming to protest too much. She was too busy enjoying the pets. "Watch all you want, but if you tell people you're watching it becomes easier to avoid them, heh." She chuckled lightly.

"Ah yes...that hellhound." Sorcha mused. "I suppose we are done, then. Well, that's fine." The dragon turned back to the class, seemingly done. "Alright then, class. I expect you to come back here tomorrow and tell me this history yourself! Let us go, Luna dear." Sorcha said, heading for the door. "We should go find that serpent before she causes any more ruckus."

Lyssa & Ritsa

Ritsa simply smiled at the cat boy. Pleasantly at first - making her seem rather normal. And then she opened her mouth, sharp yellow teeth filling her mouth with an unsettling grin. If he happened to look at the Hydra's entirely pitch-black eyes, he'd probably be having nightmares for a week. Well if he wanted to play, he was gonna get played with. Ritsa took a step back, stomping one of her feet into the ground hard enough to leave a small divot. In the next instant she launched herself at the catboy, her head would have meet his stomach as she tackled him to the ground, pinning him under her. If he so happened to dodge, she'd land on the ground on all fours before swiftly turning and making another pounce.

Miren & Khira

"Who am I supposed to tease then?" Khira chided in a mildly irritated manner. "My Alpha is too dimwitted to find teasing funny at the moment and the Bunny is the only other on here."

"Aha..." Miren chuckled nervously, but otherwise said nothing. She suddenly got a bad feeling in the pit of her stomach. "But...I'm already tired of it. Please don't eat my bunny buns, Eith. Or joke about it." She pleaded gently, though it was likely she wasn't entirely against it in reality.

"If my Alpha keeps forbidding me from doing things, I might get a little...irritated." Khira mused further. "Who knows...an upset Chimaera is a beast no one wants to deal with." There seemed to be a bit of a challenge in that statement, though whether Eith took the bait or not was up to her.

Livia

"Heh," Livia laughed lightly. "A massage would be welcome, my student." The older woman took a seat in a nearby chair, leaning into its luxurious embrace. "Perhaps after we deal with Eith's condition, I'll take you up on that offer." She really was tired, wasn't she? Ah...she'd need to hurry. Why was there never enough time for the things she needed to do?

Chione

"Whew..." Chione panted, doing her best to stand up straight after a rigorous training exercise with Kozue. Old muscles she hadn't used in ages ached and felt like they were going to fall off, but it was good to get back into shape sooner rather than later. Kozue was fun anyways - a little serious, but fun. Also had the right amount of muscles that made ogling her - ahem, that made it easy to follow her lead? No that sounded just as bad.

"Oof, this is far different from swimming in the Nile...at least Ra's gaze isn't as harsh here." The priestess stood up straight, giving Kozue a tired smile. "There wouldn't happen to be a bath or some such around here?"

Aetheria was at her desk again as the pair of hooligans reentered - they were far too old for this sort of inconsistent care taking to be convenient anymore. If it hadn't been for the conversation with Livia earlier, she'd had told them both they were kicked out because they were disrespecting her and the campus' charity.

As of now though, she tolerated it. "There is. Down that hallway to the left. Help yourself." She gave a look towards her actual patient suggesting that she wasn't going along with her. "You're late, but come on. I want to check on you."

Walking towards a room with a small bed on it, the white mage pointed towards the examination mattress indicating the girl should lay down. "Take off your shirt, I'm going to look to see how things are progressing and try a bit more of my healing myself."

The cat boy toughness faded a bit as he looked into the strange creature's eyes before him - he got the feeling something was wrong with this girl, especially given that rather lethal and nasty looking set of teeth that was going across her mouth. For a couple of seconds, the cat boy examined and remained eerily still until his opponent decided to pounce towards him. The cat boy had cat-like reflexes and dodged to the side with just a bit of difficulty. With a little bit of the pride he had left, he seemed ready to turn around and perhaps negotiate with this strange lizard.

Just as he finished turning around though, the second pounce slammed into his chest tossing the pair of them down onto the ground. The two of them tumbled for a bit from the tackle, but any contest of strength would quickly be won by Ritsa as the cat boy looked up a little scared.

The noble woman sitting on the bench stood up some time during their confrontation, able to sense her familiar's fear rising - what had gone from fun and games had quickly become a bit more violent. Josette quickly ran over with her staff, pointing it at the familiar in front of her. "H-hey! Stop that!"

If someone - or something decided to hurt her dear Bastien they'd have hell to pay. She'd practically been the cat's mother. She fired a shield spell between Bastien and Ritsa, separating the two of them rather forcefully as Bastien was pushed into the ground and Ritsa would find herself flung away by several feet and landing on her behind rather suddenly.

"Bastien, are you alright?" The cat boy nodded, still a little stunned and slightly frightened of that threatening row of teeth. Josette gave her cat a quick pat on the head, and then approached the figure that had tackled her familiar.

Looking over to the culprit she quickly looked between her neck and wrist, where there were no obvious markings of who owned this lizard. Which meant either their caretaker was the demon standing idly on the sidelines, the crimson haired girl in the jungle gym, or one of those irresponsible liberals who tried to pretend that familiars had the exact same mindsets as humans and didn't need special care or discipline. Or maybe they were just a stray.

Either way, without someone obvious to report this incident to she'd have to take care of it with the girl herself.

"Hey. Stray. Or whatever. I don't know who you are, but just because you have a frightening row of teeth and are tough because doesn't mean you can bully and claim the playground for yourself." Josette's hand within her purple and yellow cloak already had a protection spell ready in case something went horribly wrong. The girls' eyes drifted towards the pink haired and crimson haired girl. "Neither of you two is her master, right?"

Fia simply shook her head silently, not doing anything else.

Lunalel Lightsword and Katherine Lindall

"Oh yes, if you want your oversized Lamia, follow me." The teacher said beckoning the Dragon and Knightess with her head. The walked out of the classroom with Katherine yelling back, "Make sure you remember what was said today. We're talking about it and discuss what was exaggeration and what wasn't even if miss Dragon doesn't show up tomorrow." She teased. Once out of the class, she peaked back at Sorcha with a bit of mischief on her face.

Soon enough, they came to the room where Selvina was teacher Meowka and Avaline. "We've returned, my apprentice! I've brought your cute little fox too. Can I keep her?" She teased.

Luna walked into the room, but there was one thing she didn't expect. "Oh! Selvina. Are you... Miss Lindall's... Apprentice?" She looked a little surprised. "Learning directly from a teacher then?" She was slightly confused.

"Oh, mostly correct. She's doing a lot of it on her own. I figured trying to teach two id-- Two problem students, would be good for her." The teacher said, looking over to Selvina. "It looks like those two started working hard after a bit. Good job you two. Also, we have an 'operation' to prepare for, my apprentice. A hound you are all too familiar with is getting 'repaired'. Ever wonder why she was always so.... Off?"

Eith the Shellagh

"A Shellagh Queen is not either." Eith retorted. While she'd normally be up for such a challenge from a subordinate, now was not the time. "Though, perhaps you should hold on to that until after I get better from this thing." She said, resisting the urge to jump over the table and hugging Miren. She did love her bunny. She knew that much. Though it was hard to show it, wasn't it.

Doll in Livia's room

The doll made a small blushing motion, before writing something else out. "Well, take a small rest you old woman. Your spry and young friend will take care of the setting up of the ritual. It's a lot easier with an apprentice." Katherine continued to tease. She wouldn't have said that so much, if Livia hadn't really said anything about it. "I'll have the doll wake you up. Did you want to use it to hug as you rest?" It wrote. After which, it lift it's arms up if she wanted to.

Kozue Komichi

Kozue sighed. She took off her top which left her chest binding in sight. The priestess then complied with the doctor and laid on the table. "I'm a little sweaty. Sorry about that. I have to keep in shape and early mornings are the best time to do that around here." She said, sounding rather sincere. She was starting to wonder if Aetheria's healing was doing anything. It seemed she mostly seemed to deal with physical wounds.

Sorcha, Black fox, Avaline

"Tsk, it was no exaggeration." The dragon replied irritably, though didn't press the issue deciding for the most part to keep her mouth shut. They had to go find the lizard and that other cat it seemed, thankfully it didn't take long.

"Ah-Master Luna!" Avaline waved excitably as Luna walked into the room, slithering excitedly over to the knight. "Ehe, I made sure to share my infinite dragon wisdom, yes!" She placed her hands confidently on her hips, grinning smugly. "This squishy human and tiny black cat learned infinitely new wisdom from me, hah!"

"Master is busy being a philanderer with other girls, I see." Fox replied with a light chuckle. "Perhaps I should let this one keep me." She patted Katherine's cheek with a paw.

Lyssa & Ritsa

"Haha, got you!" Ritsa giggled brightly as she had pinned the cat to the ground. She was completely oblivious to the boys fear, and was about to let him up before she found herself soundly flung off of the cat. She didn't go as far as the human had likely expected, more of just tumbling off of him as though she was hit by the force of something. Being a 1-ton sea serpent had its advantages.

"...Huh?" Ritsa tilted her head to the side as she sat up, pointing to herself. Stray? Bully? What was this human talking about? She just looked up obliviously to the human. Had she done something wrong?

"Haha, hold up there," Lyssa grinned towards the human currently accosting Ritsa. "She was just playing, no need to get all upset." Lyssa replied, giving the human an impish grin. Ritsa herself seemed to have grown bored, walking away and heading back over to Fia rather impertinently.

"Pretty red!" She giggled, climbing up to Fia's level. "Lake! Wanna go? Swimming fun!"

"Maybe don't overreact to stuff...oooor get a familiar who doesn't need his mom to fight his battles for him." Lyssa replied, some of her devilish impishness showing.

Miren & Khira

"W-well, regardless, we should get going shouldn't we?" Miren got up from her seat, taking a few of the dishes and placing them near the sink. "Aetheria is where we're going, and we should hurry." Gathering a few items, the Rabbit headed over to the door, Khira following soon after and heading to Aetheria's place.

Livia

"Tsk," Livia picked up the doll shaking her head. "Well, they are adorable. My apprentice does have good taste in aesthetics." She chuckled, stretching the tiredness out of her old bones. "I'll take you up on that offer." The headmistress rolled over onto her bed, grabbing a pillow and the covers.

Chione

"Oh, wonderful. Thank you miss." Chione replied gratefully. "I shall clean up a bit," She glanced over to Kozue. "Ahem, thank you for your help, Kozue. It's been a while since I've had a training partner." With a respectful bow, Chione made her way down the hallway to where Aetheria had indicated, leaving the Priestess and the healer alone.

Sel let out a sigh of relief as the teacher walked in the room, rescuing her from teaching these two troubled, insolent students. She'd say they were trying, of course, but it didn't mean that teaching them wasn't an annoyance. Meowka was very easily distracted by anything that moved - there were a couple times she was caught staring at birds rather than the lesson at hand. And continuing the act of 'learning' from Avaline was in as of itself a challenge, especially when what she showed off was incorrect or messy. If Sel had to judge though, she'd say that if they went home and continued to practice they could learn the alphabet, the sound each letter made, and how to write each letter by the end of the week.

The mage looked upwards towards Luna, nodding in agreement with Miss Katherine as the teacher clarified the situation. Though the noble found herself raising an eyebrow as Eith was mentioned. "I did, however I concluded that it was mostly due to her ravenous hunger taking over the majority of her brain functions. I'll see what I can do to help though." Of course it had become apparent a bit later that Eith had something else going on, but Sel's life had been really occupied with her own familiar and her games. She'd been hoping to talk with Sly about her dream earlier, but it seemed her familiar was otherwise occupied. "And Sly, I know you're always hungry for attention but there's plenty of me to go around, no need to be so jealous! But I didn't think you'd stoop to begging for affection from just anyone ... but I guess my little familiar was feeling lonely ..." In spite of herself Sel was more than a little irritated by the fox's suggestion of disloyalty, but she hoped that teasing the fox in turn would lighten the mood.

Meowka found herself dealing with a small headache from how hard she'd been trying to learn the alphabet. She'd made some progress but nothing exceptional or even normal based on the way her teacher acted - it was quickly made apparent to the cat that she was in fact an idiot. This material honestly frustrated the prowler of the night, and it wouldn't be hard for Katherine to tell both through the bond and simply based on the girl's posture. Being told she was a 'tiny black cat' was irritating ... but Katherine saying good job cheered her up more than she cared to admit.

She didn't enjoy learning these things in spite of that, but the cat picked up the materials Sel had left her with the full intent of practicing them at home, even if it was just for a bit. She was sure one of the dolls could try and help her out. If she'd learned one thing however it was how little she knew or understood in the area of academics. Stealing from a stall, stalking prey, eavesdropping ... she was talented at that, but this was an entirely different animal.

For a brief moment the cat glared at the overly familiar fox cradling herself in Kat's arms for a couple seconds with obvious envy before standing up and shaking her head. She'd been a literal pet peeve for her mage earlier in the headmistress' office, and now that she'd had a chance to calm down a bit more she decided she'd be a good familiar for the rest of the day. "Um, Mistress Katherine ..." Meowka looked down at her feet a bit, obviously a little embarrassed that she was letting her pride be crushed just a bit in her current act of penance. "... I probably won't be much help with whatever you're doing, so I was thinking of going home. Is there anything else you'd like me to do ...?"

Aetheria put her hands on Kouze's shoulders and closed her eyes, focusing. She could detect the other soul in there, it was rather obvious. But despite the power she'd dumped into it the damn thing still seemed to be resting.

It took only a couple minutes before the nurse backed off and indicated that the woman could put her shirt back on. Honestly, this was a bit outside of her area of expertise. She'd be busy dealing with a dragon today (though she supposed an aide could help her handle that) and the ritual with the hellhound. For now though, the white mage had a bit of advice on how to cure this.

"Alright, there's two ways to cure this. You've probably come to the conclusion that my magic isn't helping a lot, and you'd be correct. The first way would be to talk to the Headmistress - she'd probably be able to help you with your condition, but I'm guessing you haven't gone to speak with her for a reason." The white mage hesitated for a moment, looking over the girl in front of her and speaking after an obvious moment of hesitation. "The second way ... the second way involves a pancea. The headmistress' familiar - Fia - is a phoenix. Phoenix tears are a panacea for all wounds, maladies, and any other troubles. Even curses or magics specifically intended to block restoration are undone by them ... even if placed by a god. I think they'd wake this soul right up to, unless my research is wrong."

The woman let out a sigh. "The girl is in her early teens - has deep, crimson hair. A little quiet, skittish even. Easily frightened. You can't miss her. I'm not advocating you do anything that'd make the headmistress angry or that would stain your honor, but you could try talking to her."

Fia looked down a bit, frowning. "Ritsa ... it is fall and the water is cold ... I'm a fire creature ..." She hoped that made it rather obvious that she wasn't too interested in the idea of going out for a swim. "... I could watch, though ..."

The mistress of the catboy blushed a bit, and frowned at the pink haired woman. It had become apparent that the ... whatever she was, had little knowledge of what she was talking about. Had she really just been playing around?

"I-I'm his mage! It's my job to protect him!" It was clear she was a little frustrated and perhaps being overprotective. But she'd only hopped up to defend Bastien because she detected fear. She gave a glance over to Bastien, as if asking him to explain himself.

"Mistress Josy, I um ..." His mage looked at him with a more calm face, hoping that'd goad him into speaking honestly. It was obvious the boy was a little embarrassed by his unnecessary fear and that his master had hopped in to defend him. "S-she had a l-lot of teeth. And h-her eyes were really dark and um ... evil looking - and the ground." He pointed over to the small divot the hydra had made in her rather enthusiastic leap.

Josette sighed. She understood the cat's skittishness, but if the hydra had really been in control then her cat hadn't been in any danger. The noble looked at the pink haired girl who seemed to be in charge, and hadn't exactly denied being the creature's mistress. She took a couple of breaths, trying to make herself calm down. She forced herself to stick out a hand. "Bastien, go chase that creature. You aren't going to let this girl insult you like that, are you?" The cat looked up a little concerned, but a dismissive shove sent Bastien over to the two girls.

As for Josette, she looked over at the pink haired girl and extended a hand. It was rather apparent that the pink haired girl's intent of being impish had failed. "I-I'm Josette by the way. I come from a family of nobles to the south of here." The boy on the bench and the dog girl looked over, but the noble woman waved at them to indicate they should remain sitting. "I apologize if I panicked a bit, but the girl made it difficult to read her intentions. I mean ..." She gestured towards the hole in the ground. "... we didn't know how much self control she had, and I didn't want to risk my familiar getting injured. Surely you'd understand how worrying it if let's say something scared the crimson haired girl over there? You can't tell me you'd just remain sitting."

Between the scary lizard girl and the crimson haired one, it was rather obvious which one was the more vulnerable target. Apparently Bastien had the same though again, because as the crimson haired girl prepared to make another comment to the lizard friend after taking a small talking break she'd instead let out a yelp - she slammed into the ground, having been pulled through the cracks by Bastien. The cat seemed a little worried as he glanced over at the hydra, but noticed that out of the corner of his eye that his dog-girl friend was ready to hop in on his side if things went south. It gave him a bit of courage.

Otille Kohler

Otille found herself sitting by the fountain in her Sunday best, hair running in a braid down her back with a cute bow accentuating it. It wasn't anything fancy that a noble would wear ... but it would be rather apparent to any passerby that the farmer had done her best to dress to impress.

She'd headed over as soon as she'd finished milking Cocoa. Honestly ... the entire process had been rather mundane. Aside from Cocoa making some different noises as the pressure was released, the results were the same. She had a bucket of milk, her hands were a little more sore, and her livestock was happily mooing again. She felt a little sorry for the cow, but Cocoa would have to learn that she couldn't panic and cause a ruckus anytime someone went missing. Otherwise she'd be scrubbing floors for Aetheria quite a bit.

Slightly nervous about the date, the girl looked around and tried to see when her knight would come to whisk her away.

Lunalel Lightsword and Katherine Lindall

Luna giggled a bit. She doubted that her Wyrm would have taught much. Maybe how to be distracted, but that was besides the point. "Yes, yes. Good job." She said, patting Avaline's head. "I hate to ask, but, Sorcha." The Knightess said, as she turned to the dragon. "Can you take Avaline home for me? I have something planned and I need to go by myself." It looked as if it were a troublesome task she was about to go one, though she seemed adamant she went alone. "I shouldn't be more than an hour, maybe two."

Katherine held the fox in one arm and patted Meowka. "You're fine for tonight, Meowka. Just relax and do whatever you do. I will be giving my entire focus on the task at hand though, so I won't be able to communicate through the dolls." The Dollmaster said, giving a small sigh. "Here's a bit of money, so you can buy some food for later. I'm not sure how long this will take, but it's going to be rather... Interesting." She reached into a pocket and gave the cat more than enough coins for whatever she wanted for the night.

With Meowka handled for now, she turned to her apprentice. "Now, you just thought she had a ravenous hunger? Never wondered why though? Her soul is in quite the mess you know? It's like it's a rope that's all tangled up. A mess that was locked and cursed. You know, all those times she said she was a Shellagh Queen? She was. Like, a queen-queen. A ruler and all that." The woman giggled a little bit. "After we're done, all the things they did to her are going to flood back. It's necessary for her, but ultimately also a horrible experience." Holding the fox again with both hands, Katherine didn't sound upset at all. Oh well, let us go Apprentice."[/color]

Eith the Shellagh

"Yes, let us go." Eith said, following Miren. She wanted this to be done with. She'd probably be able to be more funny. Be more friendly. Perhaps she communicate better. That would be wonderful! Well, probably. This wouldn't change her personality too much, right? They said her soul was tied up, right? She followed behind Miren, trying to think but failing for the most part.

Kozue Komichi

"I'd rather not mess with the headmistress too much if I can help it." Kozue admitted, wondering about that woman a bit. "I feel something weird from her." The Shrine Maiden added, not liking that as much. "But a 'Phoenix' you say? I've never heard of such a thing. But it can heal anything? The tears, at least? I don't see how I'd manage to get one of those tears." How did one get tears outside of pain or sadness? The only thing she could plausibly do was inflict pain until she teared, but that would be horrible. She wasn't a thespian or anything of that sort, so she couldn't tell a sad story. "That doesn't seem a possible solution."
