Amelia did accept the helping hand when Jacques offered it to her and listened to him as he said his bit about the trial that she would be facing in the future and then, more importantly, the information he gave regarding the PC and who was in charge of it. To her surprise it was Professor Kalmia of all people. Knowing her next destination, she gave Jacques a slight bow. "Thank you for letting me know Mr. Jacques. I'll head to her right away. I'll also keep what you said in mind, though I don't really have any adults to turn to if I get in trouble." She said.
"Oh geez, what am I, chopped liver to ya?" Joshua said, walking over, causing Amelia to jump in surprise as she turned towards him. He was walking with his hands in his pockets and Absol by his side. "I spotted little miss Spooks-alot being escorted away from here, so I figured I'd come and see if you had returned. So, going to introduce me to your friend here?"
"Oh. Joshua, this is Mister Jacques. He's in a competition with the Professor and a member of the Elite Four. Mr. Jacques, this is Joshua, my teacher before I began my journey." She said.
"A pleasure." Joshua said before turning to Amelia. "I was looking for you to say good-bye for the time being and to wish you luck on your journey. I won't help you any further from here on, so I can't do anything more then that. If we cross paths again though, that might be a different story. Now, I think I've held you up long enough. Please, continue onwards."
"Thank you." Amelia said, giving him a slight bow as well. Before leaving, she reached down and gently pet the Shedinja. "Stay out of trouble okay. I hope peaceful days return to you."
With that, she would leave the Gardens and resume her journey, heading for the Great Plains so that she could return to Lakewatch Town and from there, make her way to Pureplain. She was focused on being reunited with her other pokemon, but she wasn't going to completely ignore her surroundings, since something of interest might happen.
Talk to Jacques and Joshua before starting the long trip back to Pureplain City... again.

"Waaaah? Ralia!?" Claire hadn't been paying attention to what her pokemon had been doing, completely focused on the bets. She had been utterly oblivious to her teleporting to the top of Valarie's head until she had been swatted off like a fly. Ralia took the blow, making a tiny squeal in the process as she was batted off the queens head. Claire barely managed to catch Ralia in her arms. "What the heck girl?! you can't just go around teleporting on people!" Claire looked down at Ralia, who was now sitting comfortably, pouting a bit, nuzzling her trainers arm in a hurt fashion.
"Jeez, that's what you get. Claire patted the pokemon on the head. "Sorry about that, I dunno what got into her." Ralia, meanwhile, had turned to face Valarie...and stuck out her tongue at the Queen. Ralia then grabbed a lock of Claire's hair, tugging on it lightly to get her attention. "...eh? Cheating?" Claire blinked, before looking over to Valarie.
"....ahaha, don't be silly." Claire bopped Ralia on the head lightly. Cheating huh. Well, of course she trusted Ralia, but there wasn't a whole lot she could do about it now. Besides, she'd win anyways. She was just that confident. She could bet the same as Valarie. She just needed to bet more...but the problem with that was that with 100 coins, Valarie would have 1060 left. She only had 940, for the sake of the bet. If she was gonna lose, might as well go for broke.
"...I'm gonna do something probably really stupid here." Claire said with a light nod. "100 on Grassball."
‘…’ Valerie did not reply to Claire’s apologies for Ralia’s actions, merely turned towards the bets now. She frowned as Claire put her bet on Grassball, but refrained from commenting on it. With all that done, it was simply a matter to wait for the race to start.
The call for the race to begin sounded off…
And the absolutely first thing, out of the gates, what happened was that both Empress and Zodiac spun and unleashed a Drill Peck each at Dread Divers, who called out in pain as he was hit and was launched backwards, straight into a panicked and surprised Lucky who was hit by the sudden missile that was the hit Dread Divers.
The only Dodrio that actually ran for the goal was Grassball.
Dread Divers quickly got up, glaring with all his force at Empress and Zodiac with all three heads… and then he Thrashed himself into combat, Empress and Zodiac meeting him with stride. A fierce fight with Drill Pecks, Trash and Tri Attacks flew off in various directions, with an excited audience that somehow relished in that it was a battle and not a race, while a panicked Lucky somehow snook off and took off after Grassball, quickly catching up.
The smoke settled… and Dread Divers still stood. Empress and Zodiac both lay fainted at his feet. Then, Dread Divers took off like a dark bolt towards the front line, after Lucky. Visibly straight after Lucky. Lucky noticed, and with a panic in all three pairs of eyes she jumped off the race-track, hiding at the wall. Dread Divers dismissed her as unworthy, and then dashed after Grassball. Dread Divers easily caught up with the shiny Dodrio, much faster in his strides. If Dread Divers won, Valerie would still be the one to win the bet. Dread Divers, in all his violence, aimed in a Trashing kick at Grassball’s back…
And Grassball tripped on her own, meaning all the force of Dread Divers’ destructive Trash kick went straight over her back at full speed. Because of the angle of the kick, Dread Divers flew off with a panicked shout, the force of the kick that did not impact carried the confused Dodrio way overhead and into the wall on the other side of the race-track, crashing into it with enough force to cause a Dordio-shaped hole to crack open. Dread Divers hurt himself in confusion! Dread Divers fainted!
Grassball stood up, shook her three heads, and waltzed over the finish line.
Claire won 10,000 coins!
A massive amount of cheers erupted around the audience, apparently thinking this was the greatest show in quite a while. Valerie, meanwhile, just watched with somewhat empty eyes while Claire no doubt had some form of reaction. Eventually, Valerie simply sighed, and then turned around as if to leave. Before doing so, she opened her coin case and dumped an additional 10,000 coins onto the table next to her.
Claire obtained an additional 10,000 coins!
‘Congratulations. It would seem you have won. I’ll be taking my leave for today. Tonight, you’re the Queen of the Game Corner… whoever you are,’ Valerie said, because Claire never introduced herself. With that, and with a Fletchinder on her shoulder, Valerie walked to leave. There were numerous people, those same fans of Valerie, that were looking at Claire with some degree of awe now.
‘I can’t believe it…’ ‘The Queen… lost?’ ‘Who… who is this girl?’
They sounded an awful lot like Claire had won in something more than just a game of chance.
Also, because Dread Divers had KOd Empress, Zodiac and then himself, the Dodrio races with be called off for the reminder of today, attraction closed, look elsewhere.
Claire has found herself with the grand total of 20,970 coins.
What would Claire do now?

Worldedge City
A rush of energy flows with the wind that breezes through the alleys of the city. Somehow, you feel lighter, like some strange weight has been taken from your shoulders. Looking up, tall, massive structures, structures seeming to defy gravity and common sense grows, stretching high into the sky and far down across the cliffs. The people look calm, focused on their duties and sprawling in their number, holding a vital position in all the businesses of Isson. The design of the streets are narrow, illogical and unstructured, feel like they would be easy to get lost in, yet it is as if you’re being guided by fate’s hand and you’ll arrive where you were intending to go. In the distance, always watching, the peaks of a distant mountain rises. You are now in Worldedge City.
Isson’s largest city. It grew into place at both sides of Mt. Edge as efforts were made to dig through the mountain and join the northern and southern landmasses, it was known as two different towns until the use of Abras as public transportation method within the city was widely adopted and the city grew to become known as one single entity. Widely accepted is the idea that a mystical energy of some form within Mt. Edge surges around the buildings, calling Psychic Pokémon towards the mountain and therefore the city. People living here have easier time feeling at ease with the world, and the laws of gravity doesn’t apply as they maybe should to the buildings around here. From this would Isson’s most successful city grow to be, at the place where two or more worlds connect. So was Worldedge City named.
It should be noted that being called a “Worldedge Resident” has some negative stigma attached to it. If you are one, you’re interpreted as a lazy individual who has it easier than the rest of the world, happiness coming naturally to you and you probably see yourself as superior to the rest of Isson, and you might not be entirely sane or yourself due to constant exposure to the energies of Mt. Edge. Of course, this is a stereotype that most people recognize and can see past, but there is no smoke without fire, so to say. There those who are very distrustful of the energies of Mt. Edge and would rather never subject themselves to it. These particular dislikes compounded and grew strong enough in some people that the Crossing was created just south of Worldedge City just so those individuals could get past without entering the city.
The city is comprised of six different districts. Three districts on each side of Mt. Edge, stapled on top of one another by the way of leaning on the cliff sides and mountain as well as giant pillars, taking advantage of the strange physics around Mt. Edge. Exits out of the city are on the middle districts of each side. Each district have their own Pokémon Center and Pokémart, but otherwise have their own unique features.
Connected areas: Route 10. South of Worldedge. A farmland employing multiple psychic Pokémon from Mt. Edge to help with the crops. Route 13. West of Worldedge. A slightly disturbed route, which attracts electric Pokémon due to the proximity of the power plant. Mt. Edge. The mystical mountain at the heart of Worldedge’s unnatural existence. Few people actually cross its fabled tunnels, most just teleport past. Route 18. East of Worldedge. A calm stretch of land going from Worldedge to Witchpeak, part of the Allmass Cycling Circuit.

Currently in the Entertainment District.
Entertainment District
In the depths of Northern Worldedge City, common sense goes out the window. Given all the buildings on top, few actual lights come down here even during the day, but all the blazing lights in this unnatural city-scape more than make up for it. Plenty of the skyscrapers holding up the Commercial District above have some form of advertisement, and each open door opens a new possible way to spend money in these depths of entertainment, probably with some form of Pokémon logo. Down here lies the most famous and populated Game Corner on Isson, where thousands of P are being wasted every day, and houses for unofficial Contests or Battles for money and prices are sanctioned and bet upon for the enjoyment of viewers and participants. It truly feels like if one never got bored, one would probably never run out of things to do down here… assuming the wallet didn’t run dry, that is.
Notable Places:
1. Worldedge Game Corner. Only play with as much you’re willing to spend! 2. Countless restaurants, stores, cinemas, show-houses, amusement-parks, whatevs. You can waste the rest of your money here, on whatever you want! 3. PokéMania! Do battle for the enjoyment of the viewers, and have sudden strange rules applied to every battle! Fancy prices~ 4. Contest Clarity. Forget all ranks, here we do contests for the show, and the show alone! Oh, and for cash prices~ 5. Deep Dark Depths of Worldedge. This city feels like it goes on forever! How far does it go…? 6. A place you’re too young to visit…
Commercial District
Squeezed in-between the Residential District and the Entertainment District lies the Commercial District. It’s a long, winding corridor of tight buildings with many bridges and storefronts, and it all leads up to the Worldedge Department Store, the biggest Pokémart in Isson. If you somehow cannot find what you’re looking for there, then you’re probably all out of luck. It isn’t all there is here, however. Among the corridors is the House of Trades, where people can sit at computers and request trades with all other people that have ever been there, as well as the Psychic Train that uses certain teleporting abilities to achieve transportation to a distant town. Or, if those don’t reach where you want, you can just call a Freecape Ferryman and s/he’ll fly you there, assuming you have the cash. Also here, lies the store where the infamous inventor Russel sells his products. Perhaps, if you’re lucky, the fool’s things actually work for you? No guarantees, though!
Notable Places:
1. Worldedge Department Store. Products from all over Isson gather, right here. The largest store of Isson. 2. Worldedge Trade Station. A place where people can come trade Pokémon and items with people from all over! 3. Pokémon Groomer. For a price, you can have some professionals treat your Pokémon like royalty~! 4. Psychic Train. Runs along spiritual tracks to lead somewhere else in the world. The trips are one-way only. 4.1. Justroad City/Gentlevale City/Witchpeak City. 500P 4.2. Bigfjord City/Freecape Town/Raremine Town. 1000P 4.3. Redcoast City/Rainrock City/Pureplain City. 2000P 5. Freecape Ferrymen Phone. A phone linked to call a Freecape Ferryman, who can Fly you somewhere in the world for a considerable price. 6. Food Stands. Hot dogs to ice creams. Pretty good. 7. Inventor Russel’s Store. Russel, crazy inventor. Who knows what he might have for sale? He’s also known to give random stuff or quests to trainers passing by, giving them cash as incentive.
Residential District
On the absolute top of the northern districts, you’ll find the place in Worldedge City with the freshest air. While the building architecture still might require a raised eyebrow, the atmosphere is healthy and playful, many families making their life here on top of the Commercial and Entertainment districts, where they work. Schools and little parks for children to learn the ways of Pokémon exist, and there is nothing saying those older cannot use them too. The Little Cup stadium is here, allowing the children to watch and perhaps participate without straying too far from home. Yet, among these buildings live a few of the most noteworthy individuals in Isson. Like the rumored and powerful Crone, who has to be battled by a strong trainer every once in a while or she will stir up trouble, or like the empty mansion that supposedly belongs to the Champion…
Notable Places:
1. Practice Park. A little park in the residential district where children can catch low-level Pokémon and train for the real thing. 2. Pokémon Day Care. For people to leave their Pokémon while they’re doing something else. Some people don’t like PCs, so~ 3. Little Cup. A small stadium for battling. Levels 15 and lower, only. 4. Champion Estate. The Champion supposedly lives in this mansion here. It looks abandoned. 5. Creator’s Apartment. You instinctively know where this place is somehow, despite nothing advertising it. It’s visually an ordinary apartment. The door is open. 6. House of the Crone. Signs say “We appreciate people challenging her to keep her from being bored, but only if you are confident in your strength.”
… Then there’s Mt. Edge, splitting the city in half, the ominous peaks having something unfriendly in their jagged shapes to deter any potential hiker wishing to take on its tunnels…
To reach the Northern Districts, you’ll need a Abra to teleport you or walk through the tunnels of Mt. Edge.
Information District
No, they’re not exclusively witches around here.
A common and calm area of Worldedge City, this district attracts those who would fancy themselves scholars. They may seek to share their knowledge at the multiple cafés spread about, read up at the library, check into the museum or any number of things. There aren’t that many things here that would keep a Pokémon Trainer dawdling around for long, and most residents here are fine with that. It is still quite the spectacle, walking on the bridges between these pointy buildings, finding the streets and wondering how you're not lost yet in this maze of stairs and bridges, never touching the ground. Far above lies the Mystical District and there are plenty of stairs up, and down below is the Industrial District… It may feel a bit enclosed. Most notable in this area is most certainly the famous Professor Dunstan’s lab and residence, which he mostly leaves to his companions as he spends a lot of his time in the other lab in Raremine Town as well.
Notable Places:
1. Guide Booth. Because finding your way in Worldedge City can be a challenge! 2. Gossiping Cafés. If you want to hear the useful kind of gossip, sit in among the intellectuals. Ask and you may be surprised at how much you can learn! 3. Sir Know-Em-All. A famed Psychic. If you can think of a person, Sir Know-Em-All can tell you where to go to meet them! 4. Professor Dunstan’s Lab. A legendary researcher of Legendary Pokémon, do you have reason to seek his counsel? 5. World Library. With the backing of Professor Dunstan himself, this library has all the information you could possibly seek… probably. 6. Isson Museum. Don’t feel like travelling to all the corners of the world? Don’t need to, the museum has gathered up the noteworthy things from all its corners! 7. Move Tutor Mansion. A gathering-spot for those talented in teaching Pokémon moves they wouldn’t normally learn.
Using elevators or teleportation Abras, one can easily access the other districts around Worldedge City, so here’s the other options.
Industrial District
There is no way this place can have screwed-up gravity and emotional influence without companies trying to use it for their own gains. The factories of Worldedge City are far below the Information District, down at water-level, where at the base of Mt. Edge countless machines tumble and toll for the continued success of man- and Pokémon-kind. Being below two other districts the Industrial District is naturally dark, even during the day, but countless lights shine it up and the workers do not mind one bit. They have their own marketplaces, their own little residences and they certainly earn enough to make their own lives when it comes to that. But, among the factories and warehouses are those that stand empty, and one might have to wonder what’s actually inside them sometimes.
Notable Places:
1. Factories. Produces everything from Pokédolls to furniture, and who-the-heck-knows. 2. Abandoned Factories. Produces everything from Grimers to street thugs, and who-the-heck-knows. 3. Warehouses. Storing items from factories, some more well-used than others. Some opens by keycards. 4. Request Center. A certain camp of individuals that can take your requests for Pokémon or items you want, and they might come back and provide them for you. Sounds easy, right? 5. Sketchy Entrances. … The heck are you doing down here? They hid these things down here for a REASON, normal people wouldn’t normally ever need to see them! 6. ???. Trigger a “random” event. Not sure why you’d be walking down here, but. 7. Claire Specific: Entrance to Factory. Uxie showed a path into a not-so abandoned factory.
Mystical District
The tip and top of Southern Worldedge City, here the power the mountain provides is enough for certain buildings to float in mid-air. Assisted by Psychic-Pokémon, the upper echelons of the city contains a significant price-tag for those who’d wish to live here and so filters the more common men to the levels below, yet there are activities that draw trainers up from the depths. First and foremost is the Pokémon Gym, floating above their heads, and also the Worldedge Floating Stadium, the largest and most amazing of the multiple stadiums in Worldedge City, where the most epic of battles in the city are fought and watched. Truly, these streets so high above the rest leave a certain impression as one walks here.
Notable Places:
1. Pokémon Gym. Worldedge City Gym. It’s one of those towers floating in mid-air… You need to fly to get there. 2. Worldedge Floating Stadium. Worldedge’s biggest stadium, floating over the city. Have Minor (level 25-minus), Middle (level 25-50) and Major (level 50-plus) cups. 3. The Villas of the Rich. Not that there’s much you could potentially do with them, but they’re here. 4. Orlando’s Spiritual Dojo. A dojo focused on discovering one’s spiritual self. Often takes trips into Mt. Edge. You can join an expedition for protection, or challenge them! 5. Marilyn’s Divination. Tell her where you’re going next, and she can divine your luck and what to look out for when there! 6. Gym Leader’s Home. … So, those who can’t get to the Gym themselves are sometimes known to wait for the leader here. It’s a little frowned upon.
Route 5 || Day 3: Afternoon || @PlatinumSkink Eryn grit her teeth as Kylie went down.
“You did great, Kylie,” she said, recalling the Mawile and swapping her with Dei.
“Finish it, Dei!”
The Charmander rushed the Magnemite, flames spilling from his mouth as he ran. When he was close enough, he loosed his stream of flames at the Magnemite.
Actions: Change of plans, kinda. Hopefully that Magnemite gets knocked out with one Ember (or Dei will continue). After that, Eryn will recall Dei and swap for Tula for Struggles, then call out Eri to throw in some Fury Swipes after a Fake Tears. After that she’ll opt for Dei with Embers to finish it off. Hopefully the Fake Tears softens the Nuzleaf up enough for it to go down.
Also, this might just be my shortest IC post ever. Like, ever. (but don't cite me cuz I don't remember mk thanks)
Anyhow, if Eryn wins, she'll drop by the Pokemon Center and then go wherever the maniac leads. If she loses, she'll still drop by the Pokemon Center, but then she'll head to the Frozen Caves (to get in more training. Because she lost. Yeah).
His plan worked to perfection. Of course he hadn't planned on his foe... exploding into pieces? "Yeah, yeah I'll help." A little bewildered but certainly ready to help, Dawkin returned his Pokemon and set to gathering up the squirming cells. "I'm Dawkin, I've just started my road as a Pokemon Trainer. And... I'm not sure. It's got information about pretty much every Pokemon I've found so far, I'm not sure where it all came from." Dawkin said. Presumably most of it was from trainers like him but come to think of it, he'd never been told the specifics. "Where did you find that thing anyway?" Dawkin said, curious about the seemingly unique Pokemon she had.

With a session of training down in the books, it was time to consider her first challenge at the Stillwood Village Gym. It was apparent that she'd have to contend with some grass types especially considering she watched a few challengers face some of the other trainers in the gym. So naturally, she had to focus on strategies with Sno, Chic, Gibs, and Tara. The other two on her planned team, Eep and Kay, were not at any inherent disadvantage. That being said, Erika still had some reservations about challenging a Gym. Was she ready? Guess there was no way to tell without going on to challenge.
So Erika hurried on back to Stillwood Village and went to the Pokemon Center, swapping Chu for Gibs at the Pokemon console. Then she approached the Stillwood Village Gym, ready to challenge the leader inside....
‘It was…’ Vivia replied to what Skylar said, though, then it was refocusing on the woods themselves. Goomy seemed more comfortable with Vivia all of a sudden, for some reason. ‘… Okay, let’s see if we can find any of your friends, Goomy.’
‘Goomy!’ Goomy replied, a bit more enthusiastically.
So, training against some grass-types. Went pretty well, especially for Seabreeze. Mac did have the problem that his fire was being recreased in capability by the rain, but that just meant he was doing a normal amount of damage with the fire on the grass-type opponents. Celebrity did averagely, while Smiley got to peek in occasionally, just because.
Seabreeze grew to level 14! Celebrity grew to level 13! Mac grew to level 12! Mac learned Sand Attack! Smiley grew to level 8!
Eventually, after more than an hour of searching and looking about, with Vivia training her own Pokémon minus Rotom in the wild as well… finally, something of the right colour could be found underneath the roots of a tree, in a little spring of water found down there.
Pokédex Entry #704 – Goomy, the Soft Tissue Pokémon. Known as the “weakest Dragon-Pokémon”. As it’s composed mostly of water it lives in damp, shady places so its body doesn’t dry out. It’s covered by a slimy, slippery membrane that makes attack slide off harmlessly, but they’re very sensitive so touching it is like a shock to it, leaving it unable to move.
‘… Goomy?’ the dragon slime asked whatever being it was that found it hiding under the tree.
What would Skylar do, now?
Route 3
Route 3 is partly covered by the Silent Forest, but a path has been made through the trees for people travelling by the northern path from Rainrock down to Highhill and onto Pureplain. It is a fairly decently travelled road, as it’s the main road from Pureplain to the other cities of Isson. But, that doesn’t change that it’s almost constantly under a heavy downpour from the many clouds known to gather in the routes around Rainrock City. The atmosphere is constantly damp, thanks to the rainy weather. Chances are large that Pokémon preferring a rainy day will be found in this route.
While there’s likely a road for vehicles, the route for travellers is much different. With the proximity to Highhill, there’s actually a fair amount of hills in the area, and the route goes up and down. The path itself is fenced in with wooden fences and stairs up and down the hills, following those would lead to a fairly easy traversal to Rainrock City. But, step outside, and you’re officially in Silent Forest. The path is mostly cobblestone and stairs. The trees are mostly green with leaves but some blossom in pink or stranger colors. And of course, plenty of Pokémon if you just stray slightly from the road.
Due to the high amounts of rain and vegetation, few people live on this route, and besides the route itself there’s little in the ways of civilization. Just a very long, very wet route, with two splits. One near Highhill Town going deeper into the forest to the Silent Shrine, and one close to Rainrock east for those heading to Route 4 and Mt. Strength or Stillwood Village. Regardless… the rain will feel like it ends very suddenly, in either of those directions. But it has been like that for so long, people have just accepted it. “It rains on Route 3”, “water is wet”. And so, reality continues.

Jacques turned and looked with interest as another man showed up to say hi. With the introduction made, Jacques tilted his hat a bit and nodded in greeting, smiling a little to the new arrival.
‘A pleasure to meet you, as well,’ Jacques told, looking a bit curiously at Joshua.
They then had their little conversation without even minding the Elite Four that just happened to be there and listening to them. Shedinja was still where she’d last seen it, and stayed completely motionless still as she petted its hard shell. Still, that was enough, and she could now move on.
So, she arrived at the edge of town, and intended to head back to Pureplain City… when she heard the Elite Four speaking from behind her.
‘Are you… going to head all the way back… on foot?’ Jacques asked, looking her over a bit curiously, tilting his head while gazing at him through his glasses. He did that a couple of seconds, before taking out a Pokéball and calling out a huge rock creature with wings.
Pokédex Entry #142 – Aerodactyl, the Fossil Pokémon. A Pokémon who roamed the skies in the age of dinosaurs, it has today been regenerated from genetic material found in amber. It’s a savage creature that is known to go for the throats of opponents with its sharp claws.
‘… Do you want a ride? I actually have some business with Dorian…’ Jacques told, looking at her with a raised eyebrow.
Up to her if she wants that. Otherwise, she’s free to proceed onto Route 6.
Route 6
Also known as the Vast Plains, it is not hard to understand how Route 6 gained such a name. Seemingly endless, green plains spread in every direction, only stopped by the natural borders that are the cliffs down into the ocean and the mountain range of Mt. Chill. Natural hills have formed, rolling up and down like giant, stationary green waves in this ocean of grass. These hills are also the only form of cover that you will ever get on this plain. Due to the abundance of wild Pokémon eating or battling the grass around here it never grows above the height of your feet. There is nowhere to hide here…!
This goes double. The Pokémon of Route 6 have nowhere to hide. They survive using speed, strength or both. Intimidation is key, in these plains of wilderness. In addition, there is a lot of them. You’re not able to look in a single direction where there aren’t wild Pokémon, to the degree that it is ridiculous. There is no Pokémon, not even rare ones, on Route 6 that you cannot find out exists here with just a number of steps over the route. This, however, means most Pokémon on the route are tempered for battle, it is among the wildest routes of Isson. There are reasons why the unprepared tend to avoid this route.
However, for potentially setting astride a large Pokémon, running across large fields of grass under a blue sky, feeling the fresh air blow past as you thunder on with nothing to stop you? There is no better place.
1. Find Pokémon. Can be specified what kind of Pokémon is being searched for, and how you search. 2. Train Pokémon. With this command, we can jump ahead in time and skip posting about grinding. 3. Seek trainers. There are travellers traveling on the eastern side of Route 6, heading to and from Raremine Town from north. Few go west and fewer go east.. 4. Talk. There are travellers to talk to, potentially.. 5. Move along. Move along normally, letting any events that may come happen naturally. 6. Hurry along. Intentionally avoid confrontations and try to get safely to the next destination. 7. Specify. If you specify what you want to do, the GM will take it into account and tell the result. 8. Trigger random event. Force the GM to use his imagination to make a scenario for you. 9. Area Specific; Rapidash Rapid Delivery. Eastern side, by the entrance of Raremine Town.
Connected areas: More Route 6. West is a vast plain that seem to stretch on endlessly, locked between the mountains of Mt. Chill and the cliffs of the southern sea. Eventually leads to Lakewatch Town. Route 8. In the north lies a comparatively pleasant cliffside walkway with hilly terrain and wondrous view, leading to Freecape Town. Stalford’s Ferry. North-east, to take a ferry across Route 16 towards Witchpeak City. The only pleasant way across Route 16 is onboard a ferry, but even then… Raremine Town. A town of miners and researchers that study what the miners find. Also a stop for those who want to travel the desert!
However, like, she’s crossed it once, and a ghost-type’s speciality is running away successfully no matter the pursuer, correct?
So, then back to Route 5.
Route 5
Just as Stillwood Village is the least visited settlement in Isson, Route 5 is among the least travelled routes on Isson main landmass. The route is a steady incline from Lakewatch Town to Stillwood Village, with some elements of the base of Mt. Chill nearby, the waters of Dragon Lake next to it too, sporadic forest from that surrounding Stillwood Village and some of the plain elements from route 6 as well, along with a very traveller-friendly road makes Route 5 perhaps one of the most naturally stunning routes of Isson. There are no roads for asphalt here, only travellers are explorers seeking or exiting Lakewatch Town for some reason, as well as Pokémon trainers on their journeys.
A peaceful route without any real dangers, it still offers a lot of variation. Walk on the west side by the waters of Dragon Lake to potentially encounter some Pokémon of the lake. Walk by the mountains on the east and perhaps feel some of the radiating cold of the range of Mt. Chill to perhaps see some more mountainous Pokémon or maybe an ice Pokémon that stumbled out of their caves. The route is a bit cold, attributed perhaps best to the proximity to the Frozen Cavern, and it gets colder the closer the mountain you go. Multiple rivers run down from the mountains, part of Mt. Chill that melts, but efficient wooden bridges help passage over. And of course, patches of forest here and there.
The south of Route 5 opens up towards what people call the Vast Plains, or simply Route 6. There parts of the Endless Forest spread out to make things a bit more covered in trees, but as soon as you leave this forest, all you’ll see is plains as far as you can see, and that’d be Route 6. On the other side of the route is the forest that covers Stillwood Village, you need to enter the forest to get to the village. At the middle by the lake is Lakewatch Town, resting a bit above Dragon Lake. And, of course, the passage up to the Frozen Cavern lies up that hill, for those who want to brave the range that leads towards the enclosed and frozen Route 9 on the other side.
1. Find Pokémon. Can be specified what kind of Pokémon is being searched for, and how you search. 2. Train Pokémon. With this command, we can jump ahead in time and skip posting about grinding. 3. Seek trainers. While not many, there are still trainers and explorers in the area, mostly trying to get to the next. 4. Talk. You could seek someone out to talk to them, if you want to. 5. 9. Area Specific: Random House. Uh. There’s an excessively out-of-place red house in the middle of the route, the door standing wide-open. … Want to visit?
Connected areas: Lakewatch Town. On the south-west of the route, Lakewatch Town lies adjacent to the lake on the road to the Wet Caverns. Stillwood Village. In the north lies the forest which hides the village, Mt. Strength lying behind it.. Route 6. Vast plains start in the south-east, this route leads towards Raremine Town. Frozen Cavern. After an incline up to the ridge of Mt. Chill, a cavern of ice could guide the way to Route 9 and Cooldome City. Endless Forest. To the south, a dark forest looms. There are no indications as to why you’d ever want to go there.
As one looks upon Lakewatch, it is clear it was once built by the side of the water. Yet, over time, Dragon Lake has actually increased in volume, the water-level rising and swallowing the town. Then the natural conclusion would be to move the town back, follow the water-level, and rebuild at the new shore, right? That, does not appear to have been the thought that went through the minds of the designers of this Town, which is essentially placed out in the water on top of older buildings, the streets of the town flooded in water and to get around one has to make use of their many canoes or get on the back of a Pokémon.
The town of Lakewatch rises fairly high for its size, and vegetation grows pretty freely around the buildings. Most buildings and streets have white floating cobblestone to walk on either side of the streets, with a river of water flowing in the middle. People here are highly accustomed to this, and the streets are constantly bustling with people heading back and forth, as well as people actually gliding down from the higher buildings from the roofs above using strange little paragliders. It appears people live in the higher floors, while business takes place on ground/water-level. There are canoes basically everywhere that anyone’s free to borrow, townspeople commonly jumping down on a canoe, using the force of the jump to drift it to the other side and then simply jump off.
Now, anyone could hear from the name that Lakewatch Town is the town that basically rules the Dragon Lake. The Lakewatchers are a group of people that regularly patrol the waters, and become friends with the dragons that live there. Tours by the Lakewatchers are the primary tourist attraction of the place, along with the fish that is procured from the same lake, and guides are trained to show the way in any surrounding areas. Their boats are also those who trade with the western side through Highhill, keeping the place alive and busy. Plus, there’s always the rumors of treasure or otherwise hiding deep in Flooded Lakewatch, and Descent Tower looms in the middle of town for those hoping to explore… but who really knows? It’s a nice and different place, definitely.
1. Find Pokémon. There’s plenty of water here. Could be any number of Water Pokémon in the different rivers through town. 2. Talk. In cities, there are considerably more people one can talk to. Talking can give you info on local rumors and such. 3. Exit. Exit the town to any of the connected areas. 4. Specify. If you specify what you want to do, the GM will take it into account and tell the result. 5. Trigger random event. Force the GM to use his imagination to make a scenario for you. 6. What from here? Ferry to Highhill Town for 750P? Through Wet Caverns? North to Stillwood Village to head that way around? What would Amelia do?
Tula absorbed Nuzleaf’s Fake Out from there, ensuring that this strategy didn’t do extra damage to any other Pokémon, though did Eryn know that? Still, Tula struggled once at Nuzleaf, who then promptly Razor Leafed back, super effective and critical hit, Tula fainted. Good effort, though?
Eri afterwards, no disguise described. Eri faked tears, lowering Nuzleaf’s Special Defense, but then got Razor Leafed in return. Eri Fury Swiped, doing some damage to the leaf-creature, but it became immediately pretty clear that Nuzleaf’s Razor Leaves were doing more damage. Eryn changed Pokémon to Dei… and Razor Leaf turned ineffective. Dei Embered, and because of lowered Special Defense did a dramatic amount of damage to Nuzleaf. Nuzleaf shot a Nature Power Stun Spore at Dei, causing paralyzation, but it couldn’t stop Dei from shooting another ember and burning down the enemy. Nuzleaf fainted!
Dei grew to level 15! Tula grew to level 14! Erebi grew to level 15!
Eryn was victorious! Eryn gained 489P for winning!
‘Well done! But, the water-Pokémon you mentioned, it wouldn’t happen to be your Magikarp? I’m… afraid I don’t think a Magikarp would be able to safely pull us down. Perhaps after evolution?’ Wilhelm said, and… there’s a point in what he’s saying. Plenty of Magikarp’s Pokédex entries tells how even a light current will pull a Magikarp along. It cannot learn Dive in any way, shape nor form. Tula unfortunately cannot dive while pulling you along in this state.
In any case! Back to Lakewatch Town to heal! Then what?

Florrie was very thankful that he’d helped gather up the cells for her, though then returned to be very focused on her question.
‘L-let me ask the questions for the moment! How it has the information aside, what is that machine!? Who made it!?’ Florrie asked, dodging the question.
Because she needs to know that before she decides to tell you anything further, we’re stuck here for at least one more post.
‘… R-regardless, I need to take my Pokémon to the Pokémon Center, and I’m sure you do, too…’
With that, Florrie was intending to head towards Raremine Town. Does Dawkin come, too?
Raremine Town
no cat-eared girls here, sorry
Raremine Town is a moderately large, bright town on the edge of the only desert in Isson. By some twist, the largest mineral deposits in the land is located right under the desert, making it an attractive place to build mines. From that, Raremine Town naturally sprung into being as a merchant town on the edge of habitability from where the mineral could then be delivered to the rest of Isson. The temperature is hot, sun blazing down on this land where plains slowly become desert, the atmosphere dry and unfriendly… yet, life and trees blossoms among the buildings of Raremine Town.
The ground is still the grass from the Vast Plains, with buildings on top of them. The modern houses stand tall with plenty of architectural skill put into them, tools for building and living sold inside the houses. Everywhere, one can see workers walking about, but they’re happy workers, with their families living close at hand in the town and with the finest equipment available. Oh, and of course, plenty of Pokémon that assist with the finding of ores and such! The trees, which appear to have been planted and grown all over town by the residents themselves, gives plenty of homes for local Pokémon to live.
Overall, it’s busy, with people walking and talking all over, an active town indeed.

If not, here’s the desert again.
Route 7
A rocky desert stretches out behind Raremine Town. Route 7 is located in somewhat of a basin, surrounded by giant cliffs that cause all the clouds to empty themselves of water before passing this single area, causing the single most potent desert of Isson, the sun eternally glaring down with heat echoing from the sand beneath. While this desert contains a lot more rocks than a regular vast desert does due to the cliffs sometimes falling down into it and the boulders rolling about, there is somewhat of an influx of air soaring down into the valley, regularly blowing sand up into the skies. Sandstorms are a semi-regular occurrence on Route 7, and one in particular is always covering up the path that is said to lead to the Mystic Oasis, which can only be reliably found through the assistance of a Vivillon, which was found out a while ago by the citizens of Raremine Town. Still, the path to the Desert Mines is usually clear and populated by miners walking back and forth, and those fortunate can pass all the way to the Old Tombs without any issues…
Current Condition; Clear - Because I’m not about to drop a sandstorm on you after what you just went through. The usual sandstorm blows over the path to the Mystic Oasis, though.

If Dawkin and Amelia would like to talk once more before being separated, there’s a time in between here. Dawkin’s (probably?) heading for the Pokémon Center, which will take him by the Bug Garden. That could be at around the same time as Amelia exits the Bug Garden to head through the gates and embark on her journey home. This would be before Jacques came after Amelia to look if she’d really go on foot, and also Florrie would already have passed because she does things at high speed when she’s alarmed. So, there could be a small time for discussion there. Potentially.
‘Farfetch'd,’ Farfetch’d called, and took off somewhere, apparently not about to follow her, so she’d be heading back on her own. That said, she was soon in Stillwood Village.
Stillwood Village
Inside these calm forest lies a village completely in-tune with nature. The buildings are built around or in the trees of wood and stone, the light shining onto the village stifled by the great trees above. In the air, meeting your nose as soon as you tread into the village, is filled to the brim with the smell of forest and spores. It’s a wild smell, but somehow it is extremely relaxing and any worries seem to be stifled before the calming village ahead where everyone is always so calm and happy, wild Pokémon walking freely on the roads of the place. This is Stillwood Village, the most relaxing place imaginable, it’s people in touch with nature and wishing the best to all those who come to their cozy and ancient little home.
Wild Grass Pokémon freely wander the streets, spreading their spores into the air which the townspeople actively walk through every single day. They are all smiles, very helpful, the entire village and all visitors afflicted by the relaxing sensations brought by the spores during their stay in Stillwood Village. However, these spores are the reason quite a few avoid Stillwood Village, arguing that it messes with one’s mind. It is extremely rare that a member of Stillwood Village moves out of the village, after all. It will also quickly become evident just how little the members of the village care about the world at large, all their worries gone by the relaxing spores and just continue living, no troubles in the slightest.
That’s Stillwood Village for you.
Budews, Roselias and Shroomish were above all the ones to blame for all the spores in the air, the relaxing smell and the effect that seemed to drain on a person’s worries entering the village. However, in the air drifted smaller beings.
Hoppips floated along the winds in Stillwood Village, and high above Skiplooms floated to catch the light heading down, further decreasing the amount of sunlight that actually touched the villagers treading about the village. Also walking about were…
Numerous Oddishes had apparently failed to understand that the relative dark was not due to night. That aside, the nice smell of the village was only occasionally interrupted by foul smell of a passing Gloom, but that problem seemed to only be bothering visitors as the villagers didn’t even seem to notice.
Now she’s in Stillwood Village.

Then, after a brief visit to the Pokémon Center to heal and get her team together, she headed for the Gym, was it?
The Pokémon Gym of Stillwood Village was a large treehouse, with a large stair leading up towards it. It was a grand creation, round creation circling the tree in white, pillars that looked like sprouted trees holding it afloat over the ground beneath. Under the treehouse was a nest of plenty of Pokémon. By the start of the stairs was a sign, declaring what this gym was.

'That was so much fun! Archie had so many interesting tricks up his Pokémon’s sleeves!' Maple laughed, walking away holding a badge of some kind.
'Ueh... fun for you, maybe… your team is all fire… That was so tiring…' Ellyn said, looking mentally drained. Still, she too, was clutching something in her hand.
'Still, you won, didn’t you?' Maple asks with a laugh.
'Only due to bad luck on his part, with that confusion…' Ellyn sighed, and the two girls walked on…
Up to Erika if she bothered with the two of them. Otherwise, a guy she’d seen the last time she read the sign of the Pokémon Gym stood there, and now eagerly looked towards her.
‘Welcome back! I’m happy to see you return!’ he called.
‘Since you didn’t actually challenge the gym last time, I can imagine the details of my explanation remains fuzzy. If so, I’d be more than happy to explain again for our newest champ-to-be!’ the guy said, in case Erika wanted to listen to him talk.
‘So, this is, as you no doubt understood already, a Pokémon Gym! The Gyms of Isson is divided into two categories, Minor and Major League Gyms. Each official town and-or city has a Gym waiting for you, which is one of the two! Defeating the challenge of the Gym earns you a Gym Badge, and there are nine Minor and nine Major League badges in Isson. You need eight badges of one kind to compete in the Pokémon League, against others of the same level! The winner of the Pokémon League then gets to challenge Elite Four and potentially the Champion!’
‘The Minor League is primarily for people to grow as trainers, compete in the League and learn more as they complete their Pokémon journeys, as well as for those who find they can’t beat the Major League Pokémon Gyms. The Major League is for those who wants to become the very best! It’s definitely recommended to start with the Minor League, and there’s plenty of rewards for competing in it, too! Good luck!’
‘Winning at the Pokémon League isn’t the only way to get to do the Champion Challenge, though. Any individual the Elite Four or the Champion judges worthy is allowed to fight the Elite Four and possibly the Champion for a chance to take the title! … But the normal way is most certainly to do well in the Pokémon League. Sometimes they even let multiple people who did well in the Pokémon League take the challenge, because the Elite Four aren’t immune to itching for a fight, too. But that’s for the future, back to the present!’
‘Archie’s a user of the Grass-type! It’s a type with a lot of weaknesses, Fire, Bug, Flying, Ice, Poison… But it’s also a type full of tricks! They have a variety of different powders they can spew at you to cause status-effects and skew the tide of battle, you’d do well to prepare for their usage! Other than that, Grass is effective against Water and the Rock/Ground types, in case you were intending on fighting with those, heh.’
‘Oh, and. This is a traditional Gym. It means you’re gonna have to fight some Gym Trainers before finally fighting the Leader. But that’s not a problem for a champ-to-be, is it? It’s simply a means to ensure the leader isn’t swamped with weak challengers. Go show them you’re worthy, then heal and come back to face the leader! I wish you good luck!’
With that over, Erika probably headed up the stairs into the first room. The inside of the building was a big forest of its own, soil spread around the ground-floor to let plants grow, yet in here one more great staircase existed, taking the challenger all the way up the giant tree that the building was constructed around. On the way up the staircase were three great platforms built out of wood, held up by a tree-pillar each, just a simple railing preventing a fall down below. In any case. Erika was to take the challenge, was she not? If so, she could climb up the stairs to the first platform.
Waiting there, like knowing she’d be coming, sat a smug-looking young Aroma Lady on a wooden chair, waiting for her approach.
‘Fuhuhuhu. Before fighting the leader a trainer must match the gym trainers! Are you prepared to fight us?’
Aroma Lady Tanya would like to battle!
Pokédex Entry #285 – Shroomish, the Mushroom Pokémon. It lives deep in dark, damp forest where it eats the composted soil and fallen leaves. By day it remains still in the forest shade, by night it moves to eat. If it detects danger, it can spout highly toxic spores from the top of its head, strong enough to make trees wilt.
Stun Spore and then Leech Seed, and if everyone’s still alive after that, it’s going to Absorb or Tackle until its opponent faints, it hopes. Effect Spore might Paralyze, Poison or cause Sleep on contact!
Pokédex Entry #114 – Tangela, the Vine Pokémon. It is constantly wrapped in countless constantly jiggling blue vines that never stop growing. The vines cloak its unknown contents, and are known to entangle anything that comes close. The vines easily detach if grabbed and grow back within a day.
Vine Whipping from a distance! If an opponent dare come close, it’s going to try Sleep Powdering it, and then make some distance before Vine Whipping again!
Pokédex Entry #252 – Treecko, the Wood Gecko Pokémon. A territorial Pokémon known to nest inside large trees in the forest, guarding it from anything near. It has small hooks under its feet, allowing it to scale vertical surfaces. It’s famously stubborn, known to not budge an inch no matter how outmatched the opponent has it.
Absorb is its most capable move, but in a physical brawl it can Leer and Quick Attack. Will use Quick Attack to attempt dodging bad situations. Overgrow will boost Absorb’s power when heavily damaged!
Assuming Erika eventually got past Tanya, she could wander up the stairs and face the second opponent halfway up the tree. It was another Aroma Lady, her expression kind and welcoming, yet still very much ready for battle… and Erika had seen this woman before.
‘Hello! Welcome to Stillwood Pokémon Gym! … Oh, it’s you! I’m happy you found the courage to challenge me again! You look stronger. I’m not supposed to use him, but perhaps you want revenge against my Vivillon?’
Aroma Lady Daisy would like to battle!
Pokédex Entry #547 – Whimsicott, the Windveiled Pokémon. It can shape its body to slip through the tiniest gaps, leaving white balls of fluff behind. They ride in the wind and whirlwinds, popping into people’s houses and playing around. There it plays pranks like moving furniture and hiding important things. Never settles down unless caught by a trainer.
Stun Spore, then Mega Drain! If more effective, it also has Gust.
Pokédex Entry #271 – Lombre, the Jolly Pokémon. Nocturnal, it sleeps on a bed of water grass by day. Naturally mischievous, it’s known to tug at the lines of anglers or popping out of rivers to startle people, among other things. Its body is covered with a slippery, slimy film that makes touching it very unpleasant to the common human.
Has Fury Swipes, Bubble, Absorb and Astonish, all to use depending on which is the most effective. Own Tempo prevents Confusion!
Pokédex Entry #666 – Vivillon, the Scale Pokémon. Known to appear all over the world, the pattern on the wings differ depending on the climate of their habitat. They’re extremely skilled at finding water, so if you release one in a desolate environment it can be followed to find your way to a spring. In the deserts of Isson, they’re the primary means of finding the Mythic Oasis.
If the enemy uses Fire-type moves, it’ll throw Powder on it so it blows itself up trying to fire. Compound Eyes gives it a boost in accuracy, which is dangerous in combination with Sleep Powder. Otherwise, its main attacks are Gust and Struggle Bug.
After Daisy, assuming she got that far, Erika’d be walking up to the third and final platform before the top, where she’d face a middle-aged man in a suit, standing politely and awaiting her approach.
‘Welcome, young trainer. Master Archie’s playing just beyond here. Before you can meet him, I must have you prove your strength to me.’
Butler Ramsey would like to battle!
Pokédex Entry #672 – Skiddo, the Mount Pokémon. It is believed to be one of the first Pokémon to start living with humans in harmony. It is known to have a placid disposition, and only really battle if used by a trainer. If it has sunshine and water, it doesn’t need to eat, because it can generate the energy it needs to survive from the leaves on its back.
Knows Tackle, Growth, Vine Whip, Tail Whip, Leech Seed and Razor Leaf. Sap Sipper boosts its Attack if hit by a Grass move. It’ll start by trying to Tail Whip or Leech Seed its opponent, then go for Razor Leaf or Tackle depending on the enemy.
Pokédex Entry #470 – Leafeon, the Verdant Pokémon. Its cells have evolved to take the same properties as plant-cells. Performing intense photosynthesis, it cleans polluted air and releases fresh oxygen into the air about it, the air always feels fresh around a Leafeon. Although it tends to dislike disputes, it will sharpen the leaf on its tail into a blade should it need to battle.
Knows Tackle, Tail Whip, Helping Hand, Sand Attack, Razor Leaf and Quick Attack. Sand Attack and Razor Leaf would make an excellent combo. Quick Attack a blinded opponent with Sand attack if type-disadvantage.
Pokédex Entry #274 – Nuzleaf, the Wily Pokémon. It lives in densely overgrown forests, where it bores holes in large trees to live in. It pulls a lead from its head and makes a flute with. The flute, sometimes heard by forest-land travelers, have special powers that strike fear and uncertainty into people’s hearts. It dislikes having its long nose pinched.
Knows Pound, Harden, Growth, Nature Power, Fake Out, Razor Leaf. If he faces someone he feels he can take the time against, he’ll Growth in place before shooting Razor Leafs. If type-disadvantage, Fake Out into the enemy, then start a Pound barrage from there.
What would be Erika’s strategies in the battles ahead? She’d be allowed to go heal between each, if she so wanted.

"Yes! Vivia, we found one!" Skylar whispered hushedly, still slightly loud and excited that HE ACTUALLY FOUND A GOOMY OH MY GOSH! The trainer could barely hold in his excitement as he thought about what to do next for catching this cute little dragon type and adding him to the roster of Skylar's team. How to go about this, he wondered...
A moment passed before Skylar snapped as he got an idea. He didn't wanna hurt the little bugger, no, but he did want to catch it and add it to the team, and the best way to do that was simply to befriend the little slimy goo ball. The issue is, he needed to get to work with the befriending, though the solution was already right in front of him.
"Paradise, c'mere girl! O-oh, but come slow!" Skylar called his Tropius to his side, the mighty beast walking over slowly as to not disturb the Goomy that was under the roots in the little puddle. Skylar reached up to Paradise's neck, pulling a banana off her bunch, and peeling it a slight bit before taking it in his hand and gently breaking it in half. He grabbed a nearby large leaf off a fallen branch and placed the banana on it, almost like it was a plate. A smile washed over his face as he gently put the banana leaf on the ground in front of the Goomy. Maybe giving it something to eat would help coax it out so Skylar can make friends with it.
In his hand, Skylar still kept the other banana chunk (still in the peel). He was gonna try and use it for hand feeding after the Goomy came out, hoping it would be enough to finish befriending the buddy so he could tap a Pokeball to the dragon-type and end up with the seventh addition to Skylar's team!
... but who would he bench so his dragon could show it's face on the team...?
Trying to lure the Goomy out with sweet vibes and a banana half. - Keeping the other half in his hand so he could hand-feed a Goomy. - If all goes well, let's tap a Pokeball to the Goomy's head and hope it agrees with being caught.
‘You did!?’ Vivia called out and came running over. ‘Thank Arceus! I was starting to think me finding Goomy here might have been some kind of mistake…!’
‘Goomy!’ Vivia’s Goomy called, still in her embrace.
‘Goomy?’ the wild Goomy asked, as the bit of banana was left for her. She pulled forward, inspecting the banana and then taking a bite out of it, and finding it delicious. ‘Goomy!’ the Goomy called, opening the slime’s mouth and consuming the banana, looking super-happy for the moment. Then, Skylar offered the rest of the banana, and Goomy seemed happy enough to eat from the rest directly from his hand. With it proceeding this well, it was simple enough to pat her with a Pokéball, and Goomy was absorbed into the ball!
The ball rolled once…!
Crash!
Goomy came out of the ball, the slime-dragon sitting on the forest floor in front of Skylar, still chewing banana as she stared up at him quizzically. Didn’t seem like she accepted him quite to that degree just from being hand-fed bananas.

Claire watched each of the Dodrios as the race started. Dread Divers, Empress, and Zodiac immediately engaged in combat. It was an entertaining show to be sure, but that wasn't what this was. This was a race, and whoever made it to the finish line first would be the winner...this meant Grassball had a pretty good chance of getting a head start - but the battle was over all to quickly. Dread Divers made short work of the two, zooming by a scared Lucky and after Grassball.
Claire held her breath, a death grip forming on the betting table.
...Grassball won!
"YEAAAAH!" Jumping excitedly in victory, Claire spun in the air, grinning brightly.
"Rrraaaalts!~" Ralia jumped, making a few clones to form a little cheer squad before Claire quickly took the pokemon in her arms.
"Ahahaha, nice one!" Was there ever any doubt, though? Of course not. Claire gratefully accepted her winnings, both her bet from the race and her bet with Valarie. "The names Claire! Remember it cuz I'ma be the next best thing in Isson!" Turning to the crowd, Claire addressed her adoring fans with a wave.
"Sorry, I'd love to sign autographs," The redhead grinned. "But I'm on a tight schedule. I'll catch all you awesome people later, because I have a date with the prize counter!~!" Fashionably, Claire began moonwalking backwards, waving at her obviously new fans, shooting them a playful grin. Once she had gotten through the crowd, she spun once before making a beeline for the prize counter.
"One Larvitar please." She shoved all of her coins onto the desk.
‘… Hmpf,’ Valerie made a noise as she put Claire’s name on her mind, but otherwise just disproved of the amount of noise she made. With that, Claire boasted to the crowd, none of them actually looking too interested in an autograph though they did seem surprised at her winning. Then, it was off to the price corner.
‘Yes, ma’am!’ the lady behind the desk said, starting to collect the coins. ‘That has to be one of the shortest amount of time anyone has ever obtained 20,000 coins in at this Game Corner. Well done! One Larvitar coming up! Which gender do you want?’ she asked.
Claire obtained Larvitar!
Pokédex Entry #246 – Larvitar, the Rock Skin Pokémon. It is born deep under the ground. To come up to the surface, this Pokémon must eat its way through the soil above. Until it does so, it cannot see its parent's face. It feeds on soil. After it has eaten the equivalent a large mountain, it falls asleep so it can grow.
Gender: ♂ Type: Rock/Ground Personality: (Up to player.) Quirks/Talents/Aspirations/Other: (Up to player.) Level: 5 Moves: Bite, Leer, Sandstorm Ability: Guts. Boosts attack when suffering a status condition. Held Item: None.

"Shoot." Skylar looked down on the Goomy in front of him, still horribly excited but now a slight bit more nervous. He really wanted to make friends with this Goomy, but with how he just slightly blew it there it was a little bit tougher to actually have this Goomy want to join his side. Right now, though, it just seemed neutral to Skylar.
Maybe he could pet it? His Pokedex said they were sensitive to contact, but maybe if Skylar was careful enough he could rub the little bugger's... head? Did Goomies have heads? Their entire body was kind of their head, so technically it wouldn't really be petting it's head rather than it's whole body... hm... eh, whatever. Point is, he was gonna rub it gently.
"Hey bud... uh... mind if I just..." Skylar asked before moving in very slowly with his hand, finally gently placing the hand on top of the Goomy's head. Hopefully she wouldn't mind Skylar's gentle pats on her head. Maybe she wanted another banana as well...? Skylar was just hoping she'd trust him enough to join him in his adventures across Isson. She definitely needed a name if she did join.
Paradise lowered her neck, as if she just knew Skylar wanted to give the precious baby Goomy another banana. Skylar reached up and grabbed one off her neck, somehow managing to peel it with one hand before holding it near the Goomy. If she wanted to eat a little more, she was more than welcome to do so. Nobody seemed to mind (save Smiley, but he was just being moody.)
Just in case she trusted him enough, Skylar had another Pokeball on standby. If the pats went over well, hopefully she wouldn't mind him trying another Pokeball.
Gently petting the Goomy. Offering another banana to the bab. Pokeball on standby in case she was willing to be caught.

"Aha, don't care too much." Claire replied in response to the gender. She waited eagerly for the Larvitar to be handed over to her. As it was brought over and handed to her, the small rock type looked up at her with wide eyes, before tilting its head to the side with a small smile.
"Oh my gosh he's adorable." Claire reached down, scooping up the near two hundred pound pokemon in her arms.
"Laarv!~"
"Ahaha, welcome to the team little guy." Larvitar nuzzled Claire, lightly wiggling in her arms. "Oof....geh, you're heavy okay down you go." She sat Larvitar back down on the counter. Hm, what would be a good name for this little guy? They evolved into Tyranitar, right? Something cool and awesome. Strong and could totally wreck a pokemon. Claire mulled it over a few seconds before settling on a suitable name. "How about...Laurel?" She questioned. "It's a really nice shade of green, just like you."
"...Larv!" Clapping his hands happily, Larvitar reached up for more hugs, not giving Claire much of a chance before launching himself at her.
"Bewh!?" Claire once again, nearly was knocked over by the small pokemon. "Alright alright I get it...you like hugs..." She chuckled, reaching into her bag as she let Larvitar sit on her arm. Geh, he really was heavy. How much did this thing weigh!? She needed to send one of the others back...hm, for now she chose Ritz. She'd need to learn how to juggle all these pokemon later, but for now she headed out of the game corner with Ralia sitting on one shoulder and Laurel being cradled on her arm. First, she stopped by the nearest pokemon center so she could heal up her pokemon.
...for Now she decided to take it a bit easy, strolling through the district at a leisurely pace. She had spent long enough in the entertainment district for now, and needed to get a move on. She'd come back and do the Pokemon Mania or Clarity later...and now she found herself in the Residential district, and something just so happened to catch her eye.
"...little cup?" Claire held a hand to her chin. Level 15 and under only...huh. Might be a good place to practice. Laurel was only level five...so it could be a good idea to get a feel for him and his abilities. "What about it? Wanna have a practice run?"
Route 5 || Day 3: Afternoon || @PlatinumSkink Running out onto the field, Eryn scooped Dei up around the egg she was holding. “Eek, Dei, you were amazing! A-ma-zing. Stun Spore’s got nothing on you,” she joked, looking him over. While his tail burned brightly and his eyes communicated his pride in his achievement, his movements were shaky at best, and his snort of smoke delayed.
“Right. I’ll get you healed up in a sec, so take a well-deserved rest for now, okay?” she said, returning the Charmander. Then, turning to face the Rune Maniac, Eryn listened to his words, her grin slipping when he got to Tula. Half of her wanted to defend Tula and say she was fully capable, but the other half stuck with facts, namely the one, common knowledge one that said that Magikarp’s strong life forces didn’t equate to strong muscle power.
“Well, that’s fair. I’m not going to agree that Tutu can’t do it, but I’ll agree that it’d be risky for her to since she’s untrained and not the best at defending or attacking. So, how about we trade numbers and I’ll call you when she beefs up?”
After trading details, Eryn headed back to town to heal her Pokemon up, after which she summoned them all for a small congregation in the Pokemon Center to praise them for a job well done in training.
“Tutu—flawless, and we’re going to be working towards that evolution. Probably still a bit off, but that’s never going to stop us. Dei was awesome, of course, and so were you, Eri. We’ll work on the disguises, but you’re doing great for someone who’s human half the time. And, last but not least, we have Kylie, our resident sweeper. Looks like a sweetheart but an absolute monster on the field. Bite against Magnemite—only you, Kylie.”
Fishing out the Soothe Bell, Eryn held it up in front of each of her Pokemon. “Hmm, how about… Tutu. Let’s see if I can—yep, yep, perfect,” Eryn said, leaning back and admiring her handwork. Around one of Tula’s fins was the tied ribbon of the bell, which jingled with the Magikarp’s flopping.
“Perfect. Now, let’s go get some dinner.”
Leading her Pokemon around town, Eryn found someplace that looked between affordable and homey, settling in at a booth with her Pokemon around her before calling out Tula on the inner side of her booth seat. The seating arrangement, then, was Kylie between Eryn and Tula, with Eri and Dei across from them, chattering away in their usual way. Eri’s voice was hushed given that he was in disguise as Eryn and speaking to Dei in the usual Pokemon way, but otherwise the group looked only a bit strange with two lookalike trainers.
Over dinner, Eryn considered her current options with her Pokedex open in front of her. Currently, she had a few things she’d metaphorically signed up to do. One was to find the Moss and Ice Stones, but that would probably have to wait until some other day because after all that training, her team deserved some time off. Another was evolving Tula, but now that she was thinking about it, why couldn’t she just catch a temporary swimmer for her purposes? She wasn’t a bad trainer, after all, and worst-case scenario she’d displace a Pokemon for a day or two. Of course, there was the matter of finding a swimmer willing to get caught and released after taking her and Wilhelm into ruins, but Eryn had confidence that she was at least somewhat likeable. If it came down to it, she could probably bribe a wild with berries.
Most importantly, though, there was the matter of hatching the Onix egg. As much as she wanted to rush everything along, she figured waiting for the egg to hatch might be better done before she went anywhere risky. As such, Mt. Chill and Route 6 were probably best saved for later, as were the ruins Wilhelm had talked about. That left her with a few options, but none of which she was mad about. While she wouldn’t scale Mt. Chill until she had an Onix on hand, she’d pop by the Frozen Caves. The possibility of mining for treasure was pretty alluring, and she figured that’d be something to check out tomorrow. Another option was doubling back into the Wet Caverns, of which she’d explored very little. In fact, in a way, she’d taken the cop-out route. At the very least, she wanted to be able to say she knew how to get through the caverns, because what trainer who passed through them didn’t? Plus, there was the possibility of finding more Pokemon. She’d seen cool Pokemon inside, but currently she could count the number of species she saw on her fingers, and she was sure the caves held more than that. After all, hadn’t she read something about dragons back in Pureplain?
Her final option was the simplest, required the least travel, but she wasn’t mad at all. After all, she’d never gotten the chance to explore Lakewatch, the town of the water and dragons, and here she was eating in a diner instead of scouring the town for whatever it was worth. That said, though, she didn’t exactly know the town well, and the clear landmarks she could see didn’t hold much mystery. Aside from the Pokemon Center and Pokemart, there was the gym, which Eryn knew was a Major League gym run by Lesley, the dragon-type specialist. With over five years too many of school and postponed desire to become a trainer, Eryn had gotten along by watching runs and reruns about Pokemon, trainers, and the Leagues in general. While Dorian’s normal-type Major League gym was the closest to home, Lesley and her Salamence were much more notable, earning fans with the younger trainer generation. Given that Eryn was only just reaching the level where she felt comfortable entertaining the thought of earning some Minor League badges, she didn’t feel too keen on entering a Major League gym, but hey, what was the harm? That said, she figured she’d save it for another day to not spoil the mood. Her Pokemon had just trained and won a succession of battles, and she wanted to save further inspiration for when they needed it again.
The aged tower in the middle of the town was likely the ‘Descent Tower’ the town was known for, which led down to watery ruins below the town. It was also probably the place Wilhelm had talked about exploring, so Eryn figured that’d be something for another day. Otherwise, she’d seen a few things around town she could understand at a glance: the docks, Explorer’s Guide Service, and the Lakewatcher Base. The Explorer’s Guide Service, for one, hadn’t been subtle at all, instead covered with signs touting its services. Given the number of posts and slogans, Eryn was a bit leery of the place, and as much as she wanted information, she didn’t feel like it was fair paying for it, nor did she have enough funds to do so regularly. Paying now meant wanting more later, and it was a slippery slope. As such, she’d continue as she had: finding her own information and getting lost and found if necessary.
The docks were an obvious part of a lakeside town, and they tied directly into the Lakewatchers, the guardians of the lake and its dragons. Although she’d come with the desire to catch a dragon-type, Eryn figured now wasn’t the best time, given that she had an Onix to hatch and raise. She’d stay in town until the egg hatched, so any thoughts of catching another team member were saved for then. However, if the egg still hadn’t hatched by the time she’d explored everything around here, then Eryn might have to reconsider it. Until then, she’d continue with her current plan of exploring the town, and she kept her eyes on the door, watching for another trainer to enter. Hopefully there were some senior trainers around here looking to challenge Lesley who she could rope in for a conversation. Any trainer competing in the Major Leagues was likely well-versed with the landmarks around the area, and it wasn’t like they didn’t need to eat.
Actions: Healed Pokemon, gave Soothe Bell to Tula, and stopped for dinner in a cafe/diner of sorts (does food cost money because fingers crossed for no P used or Eryn will have eaten air this whole time), where she’s looking to flag down the next (experienced) trainer she sees enter the doors to ask them about the town and the area/landmarks around it, and about their progress with Lesley (if applicable). Will probably ask for their contact information too. Cuz yeah, free mentor. Eri will be introduced as Eri, Eryn’s friend. Uncanny resemblance has been mentioned before, they might be long lost twins or something, but Eri’s a bit shy (and refuses to talk to strangers).
After dinner (provided the trainer's not going anywhere she can tag along to), she’ll drop by the Pokemart and pick up a Potion and Super Potion, then head to the Lakewatcher Base to see what they’re all about and if they give tours at night. She’ll be more inclined to join them for a patrol than for a tour, though, given that she thinks tours are more for tourists than trainers.
"It's called a Pokedex. I got it along with my starter Pokemon from Profeser Kalmia in Pureplain town. I think maybe Professor Oak come up with the orginial design? I'm not sure exactly." Dawkin said, Amiable enough to answering her questions for the moment.
"Yeah I can do with a visit to the Pokemon center, let's get going."
Dawkin stopped a moment on his way the Pokemon Center in surprise upon seeing Amelia. Not that was neccesarily out of the ordinary tahat she would still be around, he still was after all, but he wasn;t expecting it. Now he felt kind of bad for leaving without saying anything before. "Hey Amelia, sorry I left in such a hurry before. Are you doing alright after all adventure? Do you need anything else from me? Do you want my Pokedex number in case something else comes up?"

As she was walking past the pokemon center on her way out of town, she stopped as she heard a familiar voice call out to her, turning around to find Dawkin approaching. The boy quickly apologized for essentially ditching her, though she felt there was no need since she had done practically the same thing when she had gone off the recruit Honedge, Golett, and Yamask. Before she could greet him in return, she was bombarded with questions and she couldn't help but give him a small smile. "I'm doing fine Dawkin, thank you for asking. I'm just heading back to Professor Kalmia's place to ask her about something. She's apparently in charge of the PCs. I'm sure I'll make the journey fine on my own but thank you for helping me on my way over here and for helping out at the tomb. As for your pokedex number, I won't mind having it." She said calmly and kindly. Once she got his phone number and she in turn gave him hers, she would say her farewells and wish him before resuming her journey.
At the edge of town
She was just about to head out of town when once again, someone addressed her, again with a familiar voice. She turned towards Jacques and stared at him quizzically, wondering why he would ask such a thing. After all, it was how she had gotten here before. She had even taken a ferry ride to do so. But, when the Elite Four member brought out his Aerodactyl and offered her a ride, she smiled. She had no reason to refuse such a offer. "Thank you very much Mr. Jacques. I would be honored to accept your offer for a ride back to the Professor's lab." She said, giving him a slight bow. With that, she would accept any help he might offer getting onto their ride before take off.

Erza winced as Shadowfang got knocked out, a pained expression latching onto his face as he hurriedly reached for the dark-type's pokéball and recalled it, whispering softly to the pokéball before pocketing it.
"You did great, Shadowfang! I'm proud of you."
Despite Princess' opponent having a boosted attack, the flying-type's advantage over fighting-type managed to win Erza the battle. Erza exhaled a long, relieved sigh as he also brought Princess back to her pokéball. "Great job, Princess, thank you."
--
The battle against Makuhita and Croagunk was the hardest so far - without any trace of doubt. Croagunk's typing was difficult to deal with and Makuhita was just a very powerful pokémon- Erza didn't had anything with real advantage over these two, so his strategy was trying to stall them and avoid damage. It worked, but not entirely was both of Erza's pokémon had taken damage and got their accuracy lowered.
After seeing where the confuse-ray landed and how Hitmonlee nearly brought the building down, Erza chuckled nervously, a hand reaching the back of his head as he curiously looked around. They wouldn't make him pay for that, right? And... not for the hole Makuhita had just torn on the ground as well, hopefully. If that powerful blow had landed on either of Erza's pokémon, it would be the end of the battle without any trace of doubt - Erza needed to end this quickly.
"Ok, let's go - Summer, ember the Croagunk! Flora, mega-drain Makuhita!"
Erika hurried over to the Stillwood Village Gym after the Pokemon Center. One glance up to the top of this massive treehouse had certainly been a slightly intimidating sight and perhaps, she was a bit mystified by the view up until she heard some chatter approaching her. Her gaze dropped to the spiraling staircase where two familiar characters were coming down. Of course, these two were some of Elite Four Jacques's prodigies. Erika let those two pass without stopping them, quietly trying to hide by keeping her head down. It was obvious those two had just challenged the Gym and won. She didn't want to broadcast she was up next for that still lingering doubt in her mind.
Despite successfully not attracting the attention of the prodigies, Erika did manage to attract the attention of the Gym Buddy. She nodded along and paid attention as much as she could to be polite. However, she certainly knew all of this already. "Mhm! Thank you for telling me all that." Erika smiled, continuing. "I'm... going to do what my mom wanted. I'm going to be Pokemon Champion and it starts here." She clenched her fists tightly as her gaze wandered over to the stairs. With a deep breath, she took that plunge. Onward.
Erika climbed up to the first platform. A trainer was awaiting her and she didn't know why, but these Aroma ladies always had this smug lording attitude, like they looking down on her! "Let's do this." Was Erika's response.
Tara, as it turns out, was the most important addition to her team for this gym. Safeguard was vital to prevent being overwhelmed by status effects. So Tara was up first. Safeguard was the first move, followed by Peck. Peck until the fourth turn where Tara will Safeguard again to keep her status effect shield up. Assuming this works on Shroomish, Erika will keep Tara in for one turn against Tangela. Safeguard and then switch out for Chic. Ember with Chic until Tangela falls. Treekco will have Erika switch to Eep. Eep will then use Confuse Ray, Ingrain, and then trying to melt the enemy with Acid.
Since Erika has a fiery spirit right now. She will use one potion on each: Tara, Eep, and Chic. Therefore allowing her to continue on.
If Erika was able to press on, she'd continue up the winding staircase to the second platform. Taking one glance at her opponent, her eyes narrowed into a glare. "Oh. It's you." Erika's tone was far less excited compared to Daisy's. "Fine. I'll defeat you at your best this time since you just got lucky last time." She replied, offering a bit of venom in those words. Speaking of, Eep was up first. Ingrain to Confuse Ray. Once Whimsicott got confused, it was Acid melting time. Since Erika was a bit unsure of Eep's success. Chic would be the potential backup to Ember Whimsicott down. Lombre would urge Erika to bring out Kay. Despite having Peck, Foul Play was Erika's play. Go until Lombre was defeated. Now for Vivillion, Tara would come up. Safeguard, switch Pokemon to Sno and then use Icy Wind to hopefully knock Vivillion out. Should that fail, Tara is back up. Safeguard into peck.
Assuming victory came from this battle, Erika would reluctantly retreat to use to Pokemon Center before pressing on.
Erika if she had made it this far would be sure smugly walk past Daisy on her way back up. Then continuing she'd be met by Ramsay who was far nicer than those other two. "Thank you! I'll prove to you that I am strong enough!" Skiddo would be met with Chic. Ember until hopefully managing to topple this opponent. Leafeon would be met by Tara who would use Mist immediately. Then Peck until she had to use Mist again to protect from accuracy loss. Nuzleaf would get Erika's own wily Pokemon, Kay. Thus, Erika was challenging Ramsey's knowledge a bit here, assuming he knew what Inkay's Topsy-Turvy did. Regardless, Reflect to Swagger to Topsy-Turvy! Then Peck the rest of the way! Relief Pokemon for these matches will be Gibs who will Sandstorm into Dragon Rage regardless of opponent.
‘… Goom,’ Goomy said as Skylar reached down to pat her. So, the Pokédex says that grabbing a Goomy is bad, but patting is probably fine. Skylar would find the surface of the Pokémon to be exceedingly slimy and slippery, to the degree punches and kicks just slide off without doing damage apparently, but he still managed to pat the creature, the little slimeball shuddering slightly under his touch.
‘Go-ooom~’ Goomy made a pleased noise, and then was offered another banana. The Pokémon was quick to accept, happily biting on another banana while being patted by Skylar. Seeing how this was going so well, Skylar could take his next Pokéball and tap Goomy with that one, too. Goomy was transferred into the Pokéball, which fell down onto the forest floor to roll.
The Pokéball rolled once. It rolled twice. It rolled thrice…!
CRASH!
The Pokéball cracked open again, with little Goomy staring up at Skylar yet again while chewing on the latest banana. Stared on… and then slid closer to poke her head against him, rubbing it himself.
‘Goomy!’ Vivia’s Goomy suddenly called out.
‘Wha- Goomy!?’ Vivia called, but her own slime Pokémon jumped out of her hands to land in front of the other Goomy.
‘Goomy, goom! Goomy!’ Vivia’s Goomy called at her kin.
‘Goomy? Goom, goom, my?’ the wild Goomy replied, tilting her body curiously, staring at the other Goomy.
‘Goom! Go, goomy!’ Vivia’s Goomy called… and looked to make herself ready for battle, like to tackle the other slimeball. The wild Goomy backed off a bit, staring at the Goomy curiously.
‘Goomy, what are you doing!?’ Vivia asked, somewhat alarmed.
Thooooouuuuugh, any nearby Pokémon had understood.
Basically, the conversation had gone like this.
‘Stop that!’
‘You’re using him to get tasty treats and pats! You don’t intend to let him capture you!’
‘Um, so what’s so bad about that? He’s treating me on his own, so I can just do whatever, right?’
‘You’re deceiving him! If that’s how it is, then I’ll weaken you for him myself!’
And with those words said, Vivia’s Goomy was apparently preparing to Tackle.
Now, Skylar perhaps didn’t understand this exchange, but perhaps his Pokémon did. What would be his and their reaction?
1. Find Pokémon. Feel free to specify searching for a specific kind, if so. 2. Train Pokémon. With this command, we can jump ahead in time and skip posting about grinding. 3. Seek trainers. There should be some here and there. Note, some may challenge you, regardless. 4. Talk. There’s some travellers traveling along the rainy route. They can be talked to. 5.
Connected areas: Rainrock City. Across the route, north. Route 4. Head east just before Rainrock. Silent Shrine. Head west just before Highhill, through the forest. Highhill Town. Just south. North Silent Forest. If you jump off the road west. Route 14. If you went onto the water to the east.

Claire earned herself plenty of waves from the staff at the Game Corner as she left, calls of that “I hope you’ll return!” and otherwise, as she kept her new Larvitar and went on with her journey. She entered the more peaceful Residential District. Here the atmosphere was calmer, far more families and children walking about, having little laughs… or crying their hearts out for a reason or other… while Claire continued her wandering through the strange architecture of Worldedge City. That was, before she found this little stadium marked the Little Cup, which she entered and went to the front desk of…
‘Welcome, miss, to the Little Cup stadium!’ the man behind the desk said. ‘Little Cup exists to ensure even the smallest of us get to experience Pokémon Battle on a level with actual stakes. Miss, you…’ he smiles at her. ‘… are a bit older than the average contestant here, but we accept all entrants! You need to pay 300 P to enter. You’ll battle four trainers in a row. Each battle is three-on-three, but you can bring all six of your Pokémon and select which to use before each battle. You get to heal between each battle, as well. At the end, the one who won the most, or let the fewest of their Pokémon faint, wins a price! This is partly money, and partly other little goodies that are sure to spread joy! First to fifth place are all rewarded! … Are you interested in partaking?’ the man said, offering a ticket.
300 P. Would Claire partake?
‘Thank you, miss! I wish you good luck!’ … and with that said, Claire would be escorted into the stadium, where a bunch of different small arenas were prepared for different Pokémon battles to take place. There was a bigger one in the middle, currently going unused.
So, Claire was shown to one arena, and presented with her opponent…
‘Hi! Oh, you’re a big sis!’ called her young opponent. ‘I won’t hold back because you’re big, sis!’
Preschooler Monnie would like to battle!
Pokédex Entry #163 – Hoothoot, the Owl Pokémon. It always stands on one leg, and changes leg so fast it’s rarely seen. It’s big, red eyes see clearly in the dark. They have an internal organ that keeps track of the planet’s rotation, allowing them to perfectly tell time. By giving them instructions, people have long been using them as alarm clocks before clocks existed.
Will try Hypnosis, then Peck! Tinted Lenses doubles the power of Not Very Effective moves!
Pokédex Entry #35 – Clefairy, the Fairy Pokémon. It’s adorable nature and magical appeal has made this Pokémon highly popular. However, thought to live only on quiet mountains, it is extremely rare. However, come the night of the full moon, the Clefairy come out and play, before returning home at dawn to rest. When charged with moonlight, this Pokémon can fly.
Will try Sing, then Disarming Voice! Has Pound if Disarming Voice is ineffective. Magic Guard protects from indirect damage!
Pokédex Entry #370 – Luvdisc, the Rendezvous Pokémon. It lives in warm seas. During the spawning season, countless Luvdisc congregate at coral reefs, turning the waters pink. It is said that a couple finding this Pokémon is blessed with eternal love, and giving a Luvdisc to someone is still seen as a way of proclaiming your love to them.
Has Draining Kiss, which’ll it’ll try to abuse. Otherwise, Water Gun. Swift Swim would boost its speed in rain.
After that, she was faced with this glassed kid with school-books.
‘Hey! I bet you thought we’d be easy pickings since we’re all kids at Little Cup!’ he said, grinning at her. ‘I’ll show you just what a mistake you’ve made!’
School Kid Alfred would like to battle!
Pokédex Entry #66 – Machop, the Superpower Pokémon. A Machop is built up by a special muscle, which despite its size makes it stronger than 100 humans and will never tire no matter how much it strains itself. This combined with their general availability makes them a common choice for helping humans with manual labours.
Low Kick! Karate Chop! Low Sweep! Has Foresight if you’re a ghost! Guts will boost Attack if put under a status effect.
Pokédex Entry #95 – Onix, the Rock Snake Pokémon. It lives deep underground, and it burrows through earth at a staggering 80 km/h in search of food, and it grows harder as it collects material while digging. A magnet in its brain keeps track of which direction it is travelling. The tunnels it creates behind it as it burrows are often used as homes for other Pokémon.
Rock Tomb is the go-to attack. Bind if you’re being troublesome, crush you to faint in the giant snake’s grip. Rock Head prevents recoil damage, whenever they’re learned.
Pokédex Entry #98 – Krabby, the River Krab Pokémon. It lives on beaches burrowed inside holes it dug into the sand, both by fresh and salt-water. The pincers serve both for balance and as weapons. If one breaks, it grows back quickly. When there’s little food to go around, Krabbys can be seen squabbling for territory on the beaches.
BUBBLEBEEEAAAMMMM…!!! … Hyper Cutter means attack cannot be lowered.
After that, it was another, slightly older than the last little girl, with a bag and a certain nervousness.
‘Th-thank you for playing with me! I hope we’ll have a good battle!’
School Kid Cornelia would like to battle!
Pokédex Entry #155 – Cyndaquil, the Fire Mouse Pokémon. A naturally timid Pokémon, it is commonly seen crawled up into a ball. Should it be startled or surprised, flames sprout out of its back for defense. Famously, the flames are the most fierce when it is angry. While rare, it can be found living in grasslands.
Will Smokescreen you, then Ember or Quick Attack! Blaze raises fire-type power in a pinch!
Pokédex Entry #506 – Lillipup, the Puppy Pokémon. The hair on its face senses extremely subtle changes in atmosphere and can be used as a radar. It’s known to bravely face off against terrible odds, but also to run away from battles it cannot win.
TAKE DOWN! Massive frontal charge, intent on taking you out quickly! Vital Spirit prevents sleep!
Pokédex Entry #63 – Abra, the Psi Pokémon. Due to the strain of Psychic powers, it needs to sleep for 18 hours a day. However, even asleep it can use its powers, which reads the minds of beings close-by and teleports instinctively if it finds someone hostile. Someone wishing to catch an Abra must clear their mind as they approach.
Will Teleport behind you, say ‘Abra abra, ab,’ before Seismic Tossing you into the ceiling. No, I don’t care that Seismic Toss is no longer a TM, I always taught my Abra Seismic Toss and as such associate Seismic Toss with Abra, so this girl obviously had one imported from Kanto and it works with her Abra. No complaints. Abra’s going to continuously Teleport behind Pokémon and then attempt to Seismic Toss them. Have fun. Synchronize means that, if inflicted by a status effect, the one who caused it will also be inflicted.
Next she faced… what was obviously a father, holding his little kid in a Pikachu suit.
‘Hello! I’m Kyle, and this is Rickey! He picks all my Pokémon for me, and he likes weird shapes, so that’s what you’re facing!’
Poké Fan Kyle would like to battle!
Pokédex Entry #524 – Roggenrola, the Mantle Pokémon. First discovered around a hundred years ago in an earthquake fissure, it was compressed to be hard as steel underground. Inside each there is an energy core that keeps it moving. It’s only anatomy is the hexagonal ear in front, making out the world through sound. It has a tendency to move towards sounds.
Rock Blast or Headbutt, whichever works best. Sand Force would have boosted power in a sandstorm.
Pokédex Entry #599 – Klink, the Gear Pokémon. Two minigears mesh together and are then joined for life, their magnetic charge will rebound other gears. The two gears are constantly spinning against one another, producing the needed energy for it to survive.
Thunder Shock or Vice Grip, whichever works best. Minus powers up with plus.
Pokédex Entry #615 – Cryogonal, the Crystallizing Pokémon. They are born in snow clouds, and come down to the ground to bring arctic snow. They capture prey with icy chains, freezing them down to around -150 degrees Fahrenheit. In hotter climate, they turn into steam and vanishes into the sky to be reborn anew far above at cold enough temperatures.
Will shoot Bind, as chains, at the opponent to restrain them and then fire Ice Shards at them for damage. Levitate means Ground-attacks will miss.
So? What would Claire’s tactics be? Three Pokémon per battle limit, mind you.
Or if she heads of elsewhere.

Currently in the Residential District.

Now, of course Skylar also didn't speak Dragon, but as for the rest of his team goes, when Paradise lifted her head up to glare down at the Goomy, everyone could kind of tell her own patience was worn thin. She didn't say anything, but everyone kind of knew. The first Pokemon to even say anything about the situation was Seabreeze.
"Well, that's just rude of you! Skylar's a great trainer!"
"Whoa, Seabreeze, what's gotten into you?" Skylar asked, clearly unable to understand what Seabreeze was saying. Though, Paradise definitely heard it, and nodded in agreement to what Seabreeze just said.
"Tch, speak for yourself."
"Sh, Smiley. You've only been with us for a few hours!"
"... fine. He's not all bad. Still, I don't think he's all that great-"
"I wike him. He gives nice huggies."
"... huff... okay, the kid likes him. It must be because I haven't been around him long enough."
"... wait... where's-"
The only one that hadn't chimed into the conversation so far was Celebrity, though unaware to the Goomy that Skylar was trying to catch, she was right behind her, and it was very evident that she was not happy.
"How dare you take my headpats and sentimental affection without so much as caring that this child wishes to make friends with you?! THAT'S MY JOB, AND YOU WILL LEARN YOUR PLACE!"
"Wait, Celebr-!"
Celebrity used Sing on the wild Goomy!
Conversations amongst Skylar's team members and the Goomy. Being very annoyed. Surprise Lullaby!!! - Skylar's just gonna try another Pokeball to capitalize on the opportunity.
