It was a fairly poor match-up for her as Flabébé has high Special Defense, unfortunately, and Tail Whip had no use. If I feel any of you would be losing, I am not going to magically ensure you'll not. Hope it didn't hurt too hard. Nicely posted. Onto a brighter future!

Explaining myself

I like posting when I am calm. It's worked in the past. Unfortunately, my I've been exceedingly stressed the past number of weeks, and I've never found myself feeling calm enough to write a post. Ended up putting it off, way too long. It's way too easy to let the days multiply. Okay, so I'm a bloody failure as a GM, got it. I completely understand anyone who's lost faith or interest. Regardless, I intend to continue. I don't want any words of encouragement from anyone who's intending on giving it, just continue if you want to continue. That's that.

@Rune_Alchemist Should I assume you're just moving directly over to Infested Woods and should give you the entrance-post for that? Or did you want to do a post, first?

Sorry! I did intend to post a little something, but with thanksgiving and the holidays I've sorta lost track of my own time.

Plus, with a rather important exam happening today I just haven't had time to post between making sure I'm ready for that and other things.

I may be able to get a post up this evening after the exam if I haven't died from attempting complicated math things, but if you want go ahead and post. Not much for me to do aside from posting that Claire runs directly to the forest without stopping for anything.

I decided to put the area introductions in hiders, so that, if people wants to, they can delay the first impression of the place until they've actually got there themselves. But, yes. That's only the area introductions, the rest of the posts will be normally posted. It would feel silly otherwise.

Well. Alright. Jumping Route 2, I see. Technically, you need to go into Route 2 to get to Infested Woods... but eh! I'll allow anyone who wants to take the same route Claire took to do so.

I'll feel weird posting the same introduction to Infested Woods multiple times, so I edited the one to Rune_Alchemist to not only be to Claire. You can read that and act accordingly, any of you who wish to beam to Infested Woods. Haha. But, Claire has first pick of things to do, in the unlikely case of conflicting intentions. She got there first, after all.

Actually, nevermind, I should not be lazy. You can yet act on the contents of that post, but I shall post it separately for any and all people who might be heading there next turn of posting, should you not have posted anything else in between, that is. But, you may still act on it. That's about it. Ask me questions if anything's unclear.

Okayyy mock exams are done, I probably failed my Welsh but nothing I can do about that now! It is time to put my roleplaying hat back on!...for a couple of months until I need to go on hiatus again for my real exams but whatever!

I am somewhat curious as to Dawkin's line of thinking/reasoning that came to the this decision. Could I have that?

Ah I was thinking I might post that. I'll edit that in as well since it'll only be a few lines.

Thoughts

Dawkin looked around the woods surprised by how beautiful they were for someplace called the 'infested woods'. Full of bugs, trainers, and wildlife light up various sources of light. Was this supposed to be more difficult then the other route? This seemed like a more friendly route than anything else. It brought a small frown to Dawkin's face. It looked to be hardly a challenge at all. Dawkin looked at the path that led through the woods to the wet caverns. Hmph. Dawkin turned away from the path, going deeper into the woods with a determined expression. "Alright Atlas, let's find out what's so special about these woods." Surely he would find something that merited the warning label the professor had given them. If nothing else there were supposed to be more rare Pokemon here than route 1, perhaps he'd find one of those further in the woods away from the mass of trainers and more common Pokemon.

Well you know what I actually could've just posted. So uh. :<

@Eklispe Pfff, haha. Alright. Even if it's less friendly than Route 1, EVERYWHERE is less friendly than Route 1. It's still just Route 2, damn it. XD

But sure, Dawkin. Wanna flirt with a place called "Infested Woods"? Be my guest. Haha.

Dawkins is very refreshing to play for me. He's different than most characters I play. He isn't a straight up jerk, but he also isn't a nice guy. He's overly confident, which is defiantly interesting to play, as well as the fact that it's gotta bite him in the butt sooner or later. I'm glad you came back so I could keep playing him. Glad to see you like him too ^.^
