That we he did not, though I can chalk it up to him never having seen one in the first place. I'm gonna make a little edit to make that make more sense tho. If it stays out for much longer I imagine he'll scan it purely for the reason that it exists near him as any good Pokemon trainer would.

Sooo Inkay has a super unique typing that I didn't expect. Huh. I didn't even remember it at first. So Erika is definitely not going to try to pass up on getting a dark and psychic type, but she would definitely feel bad about immediately battling it so we're trying the Gibs route, I guess.

Also, this kind of ruins my .gif portraits in my header but thankfully I found a site that has the .gifs of the X/Y idle animations so I'll probably switch to those.

Anyways. Make it clear to me when you're moving and where you're moving to. Perhaps exchange a quick OOC post to confirm ("Route X?" "Sure.") if you're the slightest unsure. I'll have something ready for you wherever you go, heh.

Also, Inkay has a weird evolution thing. Upside down 3DS at level 30. Now I'm not sure if you have something in mind or not but once Erika settles down for some rest, she'll probably dial up Professor Kalmia and ask about all her captured Pokemon so far.

Of course this is all assuming Inkay even wants to join Erika.

Then, now to consider the inner fundamentals of Teleport. I'll say that using Teleport out-of-battle wise as it is used in the game will need a powerful Psychic Pokémon, simply due to distance and such. However, here's the conundrum. Does Teleport teleport you to the last Pokémon Center YOU'VE been in, or the last Pokémon Center the POKÉMON has been in? Because the two alternatives have very different answers. Logic would say the Pokémon's last. Gameplay would say your last. Any input on which you'd prefer? Hahaha...

... Wait. Teleport can't be used in caves?

Uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuh.

And it isn't even early-installment weirdness, this is true in all generations.

Well. I mean, I COULD switch to that she offered you (forced upon you) an Escape Rope, or I just tweak how Teleport works. Perhaps I just give it a range instead, make Xatu teleport you straight up. XD

@Eklispe And I'll admit to being a little worried myself. A rule I put on myself (and not always succeed with) is to give a post a response before it ticks "5 days ago", and it would be nice if my players could do the same when talking to one another, and the time on Joshua's post is currently on "4 days ago". The pressure's a bit higher when with another player on account of there's a person that can't continue without your input, but I'd also hope the reward is greater. I've already prepared the introduction post of Route 6 with the assumption you're heading there, I intend to post it the moment I have confirmation that that's actually the intention and current action.

@PlatinumSkink I had to look up Teleport as well. If this move was being used by another Trainer, it would be the last Pokemon Center they visited. In a normal situation, that would be the end of this.

Considering we are in a cave, it shouldn't work. So if you tweak it to be a certain range, I'm not even sure how far the Teleport range is, considering it is literally the last Pokemon Center, which can be anywhere. So a Teleport up in theory following this logic could send me so far into space, I see Pluto. I'm up for seeing what you can come up with for improvising.

However... What makes it tricky is that a person with experience and played up to be important is making such a mistake. Something I do plan on laughing so hard at. So if the above doesn't prove possible, it can be played off as a joke before giving that Escape Rope, which would be beneficial for me, as I came in from an underwater lake.

I can work with either path you choose, but man... I'm surprised I also failed to catch this problem before I posted. Whoops.
