“Where’s. My. Money?” Normally, a beat down over money would be something that’s done between a loan shark and his prey, but in this case, these were two Gods. One had long hair as if strewn from gold and wore a tuxedo while the other was bald and wore simple silver robes.

“I don’t… have… it!” The Golden God then slammed the toilet seat right into the Silver God’s head.

“You had ten thousand years to collect the money. Ten thousand. Instead, you lazed around and let your people get fat. The other Gods are laughing at you. They pity you.” He said.

“I’m sorry… Just… life got in the way and…” The Silver God then realized something. “Y-your world… Your world…”

“Yes? What about it?” He asked.

“Your world’s, what? Like? Job City Central?” The Silver God asked.

“I don’t get what you mean.” He said.

“Simple… Take some of my people and place them in your world. Have them work off my debt.” He said.

“Do you expect me to have your humans bail you out?” The Golden God asked.

“Yeah… Because they… They can do everything cool! Watch…” The Silver God got up from the toilet and headed over to his room. There, he showed the Silver God various videos of people doing crazy shit on Youtube. Eventually, he ended his viewing experience on a kid killing his own father by shooting him in the chest after interrogating him on the code to the safe that contained his money. The Golden God smirked.

“… Alright. I’ll allow them to work for your debt. Give me some humans by tomorrow, and we can consider it a fair deal.” He said.

“The deal’s been struck.” The Silver God shook his hand. As the Golden God went away, the Silver God sweated. He just showed the Golden God what was obviously fake videos. People acting. How the hell were humans going to pay his debt?

That’s when he realized just how he could do it.

Nicholas looked up for any new RPGs to sign up for on Roleplayer Guild. There, he found a crossover RPG called “THE AWESOMEST CROSSOVER IN THE WORLD!” Pretentious, but admirable. He clicked the link. It showed an amateur user by the name of Xx_ItsNoUse_xX with only one post: this. Sweet, Nicholas thought, a new GM.

Nicholas wasn’t one to troll newbies. Rather, he wanted to give them advice. He used to be a GM himself, though he followed the DM mantra of “Yes, And”. Hopefully, by giving him advice, he could probably worm his way through the ranks and be his Co-GM.

But first, he had to sign up.

“Hm… Might as well go with my usual.” Nicholas said. He then composed a sheet where he signed up as Len, AKA Kamen Rider Wing Knight. As soon as he hit send, he began to feel woozy and saw the screen grow, about to eat him. He blacked out before that happened.

When Nicholas woke up, he was in an old medieval town. Villagers were walking about, wearing golden fleece shirts and black leather pants. They were trotting with golden calves. He looked around until he saw a bulletin board.

“Ah, welcome. You must be one of the humans the Silver God sent.” He said.

“Erm… Who the fuck are you?” Nicholas asked.

“You may call me Mr. Gold for now.” He looked around. “Where’s the rest of you?”

“Who?” Nicholas asked.

“I was promised a group. A guild of people. Where’s the rest?” He asked.

“I dunno… Maybe they’re late? Give them time?” Nicholas obviously had no idea what was going on, so waiting was probably the best option…

[OOC: Alright, let the RPG begin. Basically if you don't have any idea how to begin, my character's gonna form a template.]

"ARgh!" Jimmy whined, collapsing onto the worn piece of leather on wheels he called his chair. Well some people called it his chair. It wasn't really something he himself ever refereed to as anything. It was something just there for the sitting and occasional wheeling around on. AT this moment it was something his body fell into and then found itself sinking downwards as if it was faulty foundation the house that was his body got built on.

"Argh!" He mumbled again, but this time with feeling. Nothing had gone right during the day and he needed something to see to it that his evening wouldn't follow the same path. Which meant it was time for an escape from reality, a dosage of minor illusions to dilute the sting of what actually existed.

"Argh!" He mumbled and flicked on his computer. Well he didn't actually flick anything. There was a button that was difficult to get to respond so really it was something more akin to a jab with his index finger. Booting up went surprisingly quickly, it was almost actually quickly. Almost unnerving how fast he was able to push the on bottom and bring up the browser.

Before he knew it Jimmy was on the web, his favorite place to be looking around his favorite sight for post by post roleplying for something interesting to distract him from his life like beer but without as great of a chance for a hang over. He found it in a multiverse game. He hadn't done one of those for a long time, and there was a character left over from a failed bleach rp he never got to play around with. He tried finding it but failed as it had been taken down for some reason. No worries. Well, there were worries but no reason to fret over that. He almost always made backs ups. So he opened his collection of rp character documents, selected the one he wanted and pasted it for a review. It wasn't till after he hit enter that he realized he'd gotten the wrong profile so it wouldn't have a description of the shikai ability.

"Oh well. I'll just edit it before the GM can read it." And that was when the computer screen open upwards like a demon's square mouth and swallowed him whole.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Argh!" Jimmy mumbled flinching away from the daylight that threatened to seer the sun's image in the back of his eye lids. "Why is it so bright." He tried to turn over with his pillow but found there wasn't that or a blanket or even a mattress beneath him. "Hmmm." He mumbled and got to his feet. "This isn't Kansas"(not that he's ever been.) Panic filled him and he desperately looked for something that didn't seem like it belonged it a Bond villain's ideal version of a renaissance which he found to be another guy that at least looked like he was lost to.

"Hey" Jimmy said hurrying over to the guy that was talking to someone else. "What's going on here?"

Rachel sat at her computer, coffee mug in hand, ready for a day of studying and essay writing fun. Well, after she'd browsed half a dozen websites and played video games for a couple of hours like the responsible adult she was, of course.

As her browsing brought her to a certain roleplaying site, she skimmed new threads, with one particular thread drawing her interest.

"The Awesomest Crossover in the World?" She repeated the title, staring at the words on her screen. "Well, either this is going to be extremely dumb or the GM's got a sense of humour..."

After a few minutes of pondering options, Rachel decided on a character to use and got to writing a profile. As she posted the sheet, she began to feel dizzy. The last thing she saw before she passed out was her computer's monitor growing.

When she came to, Rachel sat up and took in her surroundings. Were it possible, her jaw would've likely hit the ground. Questions swam through her mind.

Was this some kind of medieval town? Was she dreaming? Maybe she passed out and was still at home. What was with all the gold and leather everywhere? And why were there a couple of other people that looked relatively normal among all the weirdness? Figuring that she wasn't going to get any answers just sitting there, the brunette got up, dusted herself off and approached the least intimidating people in the area, the ones whose clothing didn't make them look like they were from another world.

"I'd like to know that too." She said, having heard Jimmy's question.

There wasn't really much thought put behind it, really. It just... Looked like a good way to blow off steam and mess about with, so within a few minutes a vague character sheet had been hammered out and submitted for approval. Yeah, this should be good for a laugh, at least.

...And then the computer ate her. That was... Different.

"...Ow!"

It seemed like she had landed on her head, seeing how much it hurt right now. At least it passed quickly, but still... Wobbling towards a slowly assembling group of people, she rubbed her forehead as this "Mr. Gold" began talking vaguely about...

...Hang on. This whole setup was suspicious. She'd just signed up in some random RP, and then she'd been sucked into her computer and dumped in the middle of what looked like a medieval fantasy village where some mysterious figure was waffling on about gods. Could this be... Had it finally happened?

"I KNEW IT!" she yelled suddenly, a finger pointing to the sky for dramatic emphasis. "I just knew this day would finally come! This is the day I've lived my entire life waiting for, the day when I, Rin, champion of justice and warrior of love... Would be called on to be the hero I've always been destined to be!"

The fact that she could say all that with a straight face was probably the most pathetic part, really. At least she was adapting well enough?

There was a quiet sizzling noise as another portal opened, before another figure was flung through it, colliding with... someone.

Jenny sat up, shaking the stars from her eyes.

"What... what just happened..." She wondered aloud, before realising she was sprawled on top of someone else.

"Ah... I-I'm so sorry..." She stammered, apparently teleportation straight into an embarrassed kneeling position a few feet away and blushing heavily.

"Alright, I see that deadbeat loser didn't tell you guys... You guys are here because you were handpicked by a person who owes me a ton of money." Mr. Gold said. "To say how much would give you guys nightmares for weeks on end. In his stead, you will preform jobs for various clients in exchange for money that will be used to pay off his debt. If you so wish, I could even dock some of the pay so that you guys get some money too... As an incentive..." Mr. Gold said.

"Free money? Bitchin'! How we do?" Nicholas asked. Mr. Gold only pointed to the bulletin board. Before Nicholas could look, however, a hammy girl arrived.

"An eager merc. The Silver God was right to hire you guys..." He said. That's when Jenny popped in.

"Ack!" Nicholas said Jenny landed on top of him. Nicholas instantly got up as soon as Jenny went into her kneeling pose, also blushing a bit. "N-no, it's okay..." Nicholas muttered. That's when he noticed something. A black tablet with a golden bat on it. "The hell?" Nicholas recognized it as Knight's Advent Deck and picked it up. Suddenly, he felt a surge of memories washing through his head of Kamen Rider Wing Knight's battles against the forces of Xaviax.

"... Holy. Shit." Nicholas said.

"The Silver God has a good eye for able-bodied warriors." Was all Mr. Gold said as Nicholas looked at the deck.

Jenny had just enough time to feel relieved that the stranger wasn't angry at her before what appeared to be a gold flip phone dropped out of the sky and clocked her in the head.

"Ow.." She moaned a little, before a heavy black cloak with a stylised "M" logo embroidered into it was draped over her like a dust sheet, muffling her grunts as she fell over trying to free herself from it.

"B-but why is someone throwing a MagiPhone at me?"

"Warriors?" Jimmy's head cocked to the side in hopes that moving it around would get some kind of understanding to come to light. It didn't. The part of his mind responsible for figuring things out was at a lost. It shrugged its shoulders up at him and went back to bed.

"I"m not a warrior." The young man pointed at himself. "REally, I'm not. I mean look at me." He looked down and noticed for the first time in........ for the first time there wasn't a large sack of flab hanging in front of me. "Okay. Well, don't look at me." There were questions to be asked but he put them aside for later. "The point is I can't fight. I'm not qualified to do it. I don't even have a weapon or anything." It was at this point that there was a clang of steel by his feet as a familiar looking blade made its presence known. "This isn't one of those things that can be argued about" he said, turning to mr. Gold. "Is it?"

With a sigh he picked up the zanpakto, at least that's what he thought it was, and went over to look at the bulletin bored. "So, what do we have here?"

Her day was normal as per usual. Going out to get food, coming back to the apartment and booting up the PC. Ozzy was going to check the sign ups to be if they accepted, but the moment the tab opened up - everything went white. Everything happened much too fast in order for her to process it. What just happened? Why did it happen? Was there something wrong with her or was it the PC? The only thing she wanted to do was check the sign-ups, but fate had other plans in store.
_____________________

"What happened?"

That was her voice? It was softer, much softer than the norm. "Eh?" she reached up to touch her face. The features were different too? Not just that, but her fingers were dainty. She had a cloak on with red charms falling off of it. On top of that she wasn't wearing any shoes! "Ah, uh, um," when she heard the Golden God speak, a mixture of her own memories and v-13's swirled in a pool. A cesspool of obsession and love for a single person. Ozzy shook them off, shaking her head left to right in a frantic fashion. "There has to be some kind of mistake. I'm not really a warrior, I'm, uh, more of a cheerleader!"

Some people would find Rin's exclamation ridiculous, especially with how quickly she'd jumped to that conclusion. Rachel, on the other hand, couldn't help but feel she had a point. After all, heroics and adventure were the standard outcome whenever a series started with a person being pulled from Earth into a fantasy world. Mr. Gold referring to them as mercenaries and warriors seemed to back up the assessment too.

Rachel couldn't help but feel a bit excited by this scenario, she wasn't fond of the idea of working off someone else's debts, but chances for this kind of adventure didn't exactly pop up often under normal circumstances. She stepped towards the bulletin board, curious about the kind of work they'd be expected to do. Almost immediately, the brunette tripped over a pile of items she'd failed to notice at her feet.

"Ow!" She yelped, "Who left a pile of ju-"

Looking in the direction of the objects, her face lit up. That belt, the briefcase, the toy hamburger...was this really what it looked like? She sat up and grabbed the Driver. A sudden rush of Kamen Rider Fourze's memories entered her mind, removing any doubt about what she was looking at.

"...Woah..."

"Oi, oi!" Rin protested as Mr. Gold addressed her. "I'm not a merc, I'm a hero!" Any further protestations to the point, however, were put to rest when she was clunked in the head with what looked like a little toy hovercraft.

"Owies... Watch where you're throwing things! That's... That's two of us you've hit already!" Grumbling, she picked up the toy, rubbing her forehead with her other hand. As soon as she touched it, well... She wasn't entirely sure what happened, but a warm feeling surged through her. Actually... It was less warm and more hot. A fiery passion that burned like the heart of the sun coursed through her veins, and for a moment, just one moment, she felt that as long as she had this toy she would be invincible. Like a towering castle of black iron, indomitable and unbreakable. Although really, all that did was make her even more fired up, her fists pumping in the air as she seemed unable to stand still.

"Alright! I don't know exactly what's happening but a hero doesn't ask "why", they ask "where's the evil and how hard do I punch"! So, um... So that, then!" Although something did dawn on her right after she said this, as her eyes darted across her new companions. "...And, uh... Who are all you guys? Like I said, I'm Rin, champion of justice and warrior of love!"

"I was promised a warrior, and I shall get a warrior. I'd be very disappointed if that Silver God gave me scabs." Mr. Gold said to Jimmy.

Nicholas, meanwhile, put the Advent Deck in his pocket. Rin asked who he is, and it'd be embarrassing if he wasn't just as hammy as her. "Erm..." The problem is, he hasn't worked on a cool speech like Rin did. "I'm... Batman? Well, not Batman, but I'm Batman if he was a knight? Erm... I have a Pokemon thingy... That I summon with Yu-Gi-Oh cards..." Nicholas put his hand to his lips. "Oh God I'm blowing it." He muttered.

The bulletin board offered various jobs ranging from simple things like farming and babysitting to some more advanced stuff like routing bandits or escort missions. Perhaps the most notable thing is that the papers offering jobs were sorted by how much the pay was. The symbol for its currency looked to be the lowercase Mu (μ) with a dash through it. A simple farming job offered 50 μs, while an escort mission offered 100 μs. Five papers stood out in particular.

Farming Request:

My crops have barely gotten plucked and the king is expecting my taxes any day now. Please help me cultivate my crops!

Reward offer: 50 μs

Merchantile Escort:

The area I'm in is... pretty dangerous. I need some people to guard me from the, ehe, bandits that might wish to rob me.

Reward offer: 100 μs

Princess Protection Program:

IMPORTANT MESSAGE: We are under the suspicion that a powerful sorcerer by the name of Rothbart is aiming to seize our kingdom, but more importantly, kidnap our princess. We need someone to protect her.

Reward offer: One item from the royal treasury

Bandits!

We can't take it anymore! Bandits from all over are attacking and raiding our town on a daily basis! We need someone to help rout them out!

Reward offer: All you can eat and drink! Our town will be forever in your debt!

ASSASSINATION

Same as usual. Don't ask why I want him dead. Just do it. Your target will be a very important figure: the Duke of Wesselton. I expect results. You will know your target like you know the other targets: a black cat under the pale moonlight will lead you to him.

Reward offer: 250 μs, plus whatever you can take from the kingdom of Wesselton.

"Ah." The shinigami said, trying to stall for time. The silver god and Promised warriors? Jimmy's mind raced in a desperate dash for understanding but the finish line kept moving out of reach and eventually his mental legs got tired of sprinting. So he stopped and settled on keeping his face looking as neutral as he could get it while he read the missions on the bulletin board. He'd figure it out later, but for the moment it seemed best if he were to refrain from letting this Mr. Gold know exactly what was going on, or at least as far as what was the case with his 'warriors'.

"So when do we get started?" Jimmy said, as he looked through the papers trying to settle on a mission. The most appealing one involved crops and getting them out of the ground but there was a few problems with this. First he wasn't good with his hands, and secondly he'd already painted himself as something of a target in front of mr. Gold with the nervous remarks he made earlier and he got the feeling that it wouldn't be wise to get on the bad side of someone who could hold a debt against a silver god capable of granting them powers like the ones they now apparently had.

His eyes kept moving back and forth through the pages, desperately attempting to find something that wouldn't end with his head and his shoulders parting way because his neck had disappeared in a pile of blood. When he couldn't reason one of the remaining tasks to be safer than the other he quickly closed his eyes and picked one at random.

It The Princess protection one. Going against someone with magic did seem like a daunting task but if nothing else at least he'd be able to indulge in his white knight fetish and if nothing else maybe whatever came out of the treasure room would prove useful?

"Ah Mr. Gold, sir?" He said taking the page off the bulletin bored and showing it to the man in charge. "I think I'll do this one, or would that be a problem?"

Samuel sat cross-legged on his bed, laptop situated on (where else) his lap, fingers tapping quickly at the keyboard with practiced ease as he filled out his character sheet for- here he checked the title again, with a small chuckle- “THE AWESOMEST CROSSOVER IN THE WORLD!” Sam smirked at what he hoped was tongue in cheek humor. And if they were being serious about their pretentious title? Well, he'd be amused to watch it crash and burn, then. It was a win-win, really. He glanced down at the clock in the lower right hand corner of the laptop's screen. Aden would be home from work in a couple of hours- he should start dinner. He glanced back at his character sheet.

I have time to finish this at least. Just a couple more sentences. The keyboard clacked as he typed faster, hurrying to finish his character sheet so he could get to the things that needed doing. He finished the sheet, clicked on the "Post Reply" button, and...

"Aw, come on!" he shouted as his computer's screen went black. "Piece of shit, laptop... I better not have to write that character sheet again!"

The computer screen began flashing, strange images appearing on the screen for the blink of an eye, before returning to black. Samuel tilted his head. Uhh... this is new. He was about to reach for the power button, when suddenly, the screen flashed blinding white- emphasis on blinding. Samuel raised an arm to shield his eyes, wondering what had possessed his laptop. And then he started to feel the pull. Slight at first, but getting stronger with each passing second. Samuel's brain bypassed curiosity and went right to panic.

"What... the..."

And then, very suddenly, he was wrenched bodily toward- and into- the computer screen, screaming all the while.

"FuuuuuuuUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU--"

==~==

In the village square where everyone was gathered, the peaceful air was suddenly pierced by the sound of someone- quietly at first, but growing louder- screaming as they, presumably, plummeted through the air.

"...uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-- oof!"

The sound was cut off suddenly as Samuel plummeted toward the ground, and hit with sufficient force to crater it slightly, raising up a large cloud of dust. He coughed as he writhed on the ground, his body wracked with pain from his landing. Though, not as much as he might think, initially, having plummeted into the ground at what felt like terminal velocity. He'd certainly been falling for long enough for that to be the case. His right arm moved somewhat stiffly. He glanced down and realized it was clad in armor plating.

Um. Weird. He reached up to cradle his head with his left hand, but instead of feeling the texture of his curly brown hair, the hair he ended up touching was of a finer texture, straighter, longer.

The hell? He looked at his left hand, and the skin was noticeably darker than his paler complexion. Then he noticed the yellow sleeve on his arm and WAIT JUST A GODDAMN SECOND. He didn't have the weird mitten gauntlet on, but everything else... He looked down at his chest, seeing the weird half shirt on his torso, and then down to the armor on his legs, which must mean the arm under this armor was...

Aw, fuck. I'm a video game character. He supposed it could be worse- someone might have turned him into Princess Peach. He pondered for another few seconds, and remembered his character sheet.

The one where he'd signed up for a multiversal RP as the Fafnir Knight. Which would make this...

He started to panic again, looking around for anyone who might be able to explain what was going on. He saw a few people gathered around a rather tall, golden fellow, and decided they'd do. He walked right up to the golden man, still seeming rather shaken.

"Excuse me, golden individual. I have a few questions you might be able to answer, of the 'who are you, where am I, why am I here, and why am I a video game character' variety. You look like you might be able to help."

They were being tasked with jobs? Directly summoned away from home, then given jobs after being granted these supernatural abilities? This Golden God was really expecting the world after taking each and everyone one of them from theirs. "I'm not sure about..." Ozzy started talking, but then placed a hand to her chin. She spent a majority of her time at home doing nothing anyway. Being stripped away from all that responsibility could actually be a lot of fun, couldn't it? Least for the time that she was here.

Ozzy cast a glance down at herself. Between the eye-patch, the silver-hair and not having shoes - there was a lot to still get used to. The others seemed more than happy to jump head first into a job that none of them knew anything about. The power tempted her, of course, but was that the right decision? "I'll take the Princess Protection Program request," Ozzy said with a frown.

The objective here was to spend some time getting used to her body and her abilities. The swell of memories helped familiarize her with 'how' to use the Nox Nyctores, but that wasn't enough.

Rachel shook her head as she got back to her feet. That was...Well, she wasn't exactly sure what it was, but it was definitely something. Rin's continued hamminess brought her back to reality. The blonde definitely had a point, they were here, there were (hopefully) evil forces in need of punishment and they had the means to deal out that punishment.

As Nicholas introduced himself, she tilted her head and raised an eyebrow. Yu-Gi-Oh...Pokemon...Batman..? What was he talking about? Well, there would probably be plenty of time to ask later...or it would just be apparent when that "punching evil in the face" thing Rin had mentioned started. Either way, it wasn't something that needed to be elaborated on immediately as far as she was concerned.

"I'm Rachel," she stated, before holding the Driver up and grinning, "and I guess Kamen Rider Fourze now too. Nice to meet you."

While she had planned on checking out the bulletin board after introductions were out of the way, it seemed that two members of the group had already decided on a mission. Rachel frowned. Sure, it was the reason they were all there, but learning at least the names of the people they were in this mess with seemed important too.

"Protecting a princess sounds like a good, heroic task to start with." She glanced at the board. "Although if they don't need all of us, I wouldn't mind dealing with those bandits."

As Jimmy grabbed the Princess Protection Program sheet, a glowing glyph of a reverse crescent moon appeared over the sheet. Soon, the paper flew out of Jimmy's hands and fell onto the floor, growing in size until it was the size of a door.

"You can do any sort of mission you want, though I best advise you tackle them as a group. As such, it should be a group decision." Mr. Gold said. Just then, another person fell out of the sky and proceeded to ask Mr. Gold some questions.

"Yeah, can you tell me what's going on?" Nicholas asked. Mr. Gold sighed.

"Very well... My name is Mr. Gold. I am the God of this realm. Your realm is ruled by someone known as the Silver God, Moonchild. There's about twenty realms, each containing a cluster of worlds and each ruled by a different God. I am the God of commerce and you are in the central hub of my world. I like to call it... Guildhall." Mr. Gold said as Nicholas looked around, seeing various people in suits of armor walking around, each being pretty unique and each picking out papers on bulletin boards hung around other buildings.

One such being was a humanoid velociraptor who went near the bulletin board that the group was at and ripped the Farmer quest from the board.

"Ah, Blue, getting hungry again? You know the tavern's always open." Mr. Gold said.

"Yreaaah, but this is free food!" Blue then slapped the paper against the wall, creating a portal while a glyph of a skeletal t-rex appeared on it. Blue then walked into the portal as it faded away and shrank back into the scrap of paper. Mr. Gold walks over to the paper and placed it back on the bulletin board.

"As you can see, anyone can just pick a mission and do it. And it doesn't even matter if the job's already taken. Different guilds can try the same job and compete for the rewards. I like that cutthroat nature of it..." Mr. Gold said. He then clapped his hands and spun around to face Samuel once again. "As for why you are here, well, to put simply, Moonchild defaulted on a loan I gave him a couple of thousand years back and rather than be a man and pay up, he has you guys paying the debt through labor. As for why you're a game character..." Mr. Gold just thought on it, then chuckled. "Of course! It makes sense now! Moonchild probably has hired you guys out and given you some fancy tools to help you. Hence why you have that magic phone, young lady." He addressed Jenny. "It's probably why you're a game character."

Nicholas looked at the portal created from the Princess Protection Program paper. "So... I guess in order to pick the quest, we have to get into the portal?" He asked.

"Correctamondo, Mondo!" Mr. Gold said.

"... I'm Nicholas." He said. Rachel then said she was Kamen Rider Fourze. "Oh sweet! I'm Knight!" He then paused. "Wow... should have went with that..." He sighed then looked at the portal. He then did a little jig. "Blue skidooed, we can too!" He then posed... and nothing happened.

"... Yeah, you're gonna have to jump into the portal. Nice try though." Mr. Gold said.

Samuel blinked in confusion, still pondering whether or not he'd had a psychotic break. Because what this Gold weirdo was saying was... well, insane. Psychotic. Nonsensical in every possible meaning of the word. It simply could not be.

"God. You're... you're a god. And... some other god..." He pondered for a second more.

"Hold the phone. If you're a God, and this 'Moonchild,'" (to Samuel's credit, he managed to keep a straight face while naming said Silver God, if indeed he was) "is a god, then what the hell did you loan him? Other suckers like us? Favors? It can't be money, but if it is, why worry about it? You are a GOD. You can just... make money out of thin air, can you not? And if that's the case, why are we here, anyway?" Samuel was looking pretty manic by the end of this, but he kept going, unable to keep the rage and panic from clawing its way out of his throat.

"Like, really? As appreciative of my new physique that I am, I didn't ask for this. I didn't sign up for anything like this! What I did sign up for was really shitty-looking crossover fic on roleplayerguild.com in a fit of masochistic pique. I didn't think I was actually going to go gallivanting off across the multiverse as a very well-built Knight! I have a life- I have entrance exams for colleges. I'm getting married in six weeks. Up until this happened, my biggest concern today was what I was making for dinner! This cannot happen- I cannot do this, for the same reason that me and Robot Girl over there cannot be video game characters," he said, pointing over to some silver-haired girl from BlazBlue, "that," (pointing at where the velociraptor-humanoid had gone) "was not a sentient raptor-man, and you cannot possibly be a god.

"This is all pretend. Make-believe. Fantasy. None of it is real,"
he said, glaring. "Up until today, all of this was some sort of fiction to me. A video game, a TV show, an anime, a manga, or a book, it didn't matter. All of this just didn't happen, because it was the real world. So, please, let me go back to that- you seem to have a lot of people who actually ARE willing to buy into this delusion, good on you, but I have a life to get back to, and that life did not include being shanghaied by some silver hippie just to do your dirty work!!"

Samuel was slightly out of breath by the time he finished his tirade, and as he calmed down, he started to realize that, if Gold here and the unseen Silver were actually gods, it might not have been the wisest decision to insult the two of them. Still, he couldn't take it back, so he may as well power on through and see where it got him...

Well, everyone else seemed a little too absorbed in their own things right now to introduce themselves. Rin couldn't help but grin at the two that did, however.

"Excellent!" she beamed at Rachel and Nicholas, flashing a thumbs up in approval. "Kamen Riders are all allies of justice aside from the few that are evil monsters but still! Let all who stand in the way of righteousness be crushed beneath our iron heels of... Um... Good! And... Stuff! Yeah!"

Maybe she was overdoing it a bit. But she couldn't help it, it was all just so exciting. After all those years of waiting she'd finally recieved The Call™, and that wasn't something she was going to be blasé about. And as everyone began discussing which job epic quest for justice they were going to take on first, she could barely sit still, hopping from one foot to the other with bated breath.

...Of course, every party had to have a pooper, and this party's pooper seemed to be some guy who looked like he'd wandered straight out of a JRPG. Without even wasting a moment to think, Rin wandered over towards Samuel and slapped him on the back of the head.

"Does that feel pretend to you?" The smile refused to leave her face even as her voice became notably sterner. "Besides, whether this is real or not you may as well lighten up and enjoy yourself for the time being. Enough monologuing, just accept that you've been chosen to be a hero of justice like the rest of us! And speaking of..." Her grin seemed to grow twice as large, spreading across her entire face as she braced herself... "Saving princesses is the most basic of herowork, so I've already made my choice! Geronimo!"

And without even a moment's hesitation, she made a mad dash for the portal, leaping in headfirst without any consideration for what might lie beyond...

Jenny pulled herself back onto her feet as the cloak disappeared from on top of her.

"So I guess there's the problem I've been given something that needs courage. I'm too much of a gorram coward for that."

She sighed a little as the rant started up, and eventually tailed off.

"I-I guess I'm not sure what I should do the-"

She didn't quite get the chance to finish her sentence before a hand reached back through the portal, grabbed her by the collar and yanked her in after everyone else.
