I am here to explain things!

Our grades go as follows:
Pre-school (not required), Kindergarten, & then 1st - 12th.
From 1st - 8th grade they are just numbers. 6-8th grade, sometimes just 7-8th is considered Jr High School.
9-12th grade is considered High School. Where we are Freshman, Sophmores, Juniors, Seniors. 9th, 10, 11th, 12th, respectively.

Age that we start school is around 3-5 in Preschool and Kindergarten.
Every school year you age probably a year or so- so most people are between 16-18 when they graduate.

Each school depending on how it's run and where it's located differ- but here is how my high schooling experience was in Minnesota, USA. We had 8 classes every freaking day. We are required to have so many "credits" in each subject ie: Math, English, Social Studies etc etc. So let's say I had to have 3 credits in math. So I took Geometry (1 credit) in 9th grade, Algebra (1 credit) in 10th grade, and then Algebra 2 in 11th grade. Since I have all those credits done by my 11th grade year, My 12 grade year was legitimately all art classes, lunch, and a creative writing class.

Does that make sense?

We'd have 2 semesters every year to switch out some of our classes.
So lets say my schedule is this:

1 Art
2 English
3 Math
4 Science
Lunch
5 Choir
6 Computers
7 Homeroom
8 Cooking

Now, English, Math, Science, and lets say Choir is a 2 part class.
So next semester I'd have all of those classes, but the other classes would be switched out with my new picks.

While Lilac has the potential to be an attractive young woman, she tends not to take care of herself, with jagged, chewed-on fingernails, lack of any form of make up, and disheveled hair. Lilac isn't the type to go to parties and hang with friends on the weekends. Hell, she's not really even the type to make any friends. She's the type to study enough to maintain a passing grade, hang with her family enough to maintain a loving relationship, and then devote the rest of her time to perfecting a single passion. In this case, that passion is boxing. She practices whenever she can, and even has a punching bag for her room (which is a good thing, seeing as she has not yet found a place in Arrowsmith to practice). But there's more to her than her passion for boxing. She is the silent type, but not in a shy or timid way. No, she's not quiet because she's afraid of messing up, but rather because she simply doesn't have anything to say to anyone. To those who aren't close to her (anyone who's not her family or ex-boxing trainer) she has a menacing vibe. Despite this, though, Lilac has a fairly heroic personality. When she sees someone in trouble, she does what she can to help, especially if the trouble they're in has something to do with violence. She doesn't really know how to interact with people, so she doesn't, and due to her menacing appearance, people don't interact with her.

Of course there's a kitchen, which is the biggest room in the living area, and there's a bathroom, which they have to share with the public. But there are also two bedrooms. One belonged to Lilac, and the other to her parents. In Lilac's room, there are a few small, half-empty bookshelves, a desk, a lamp, a bed, and a punching bag. In her parents' room, there's a queen-sized bed, a single bookshelf, two nightstands with two lamps, and a small TV. Since this room has the TV, they also use it to watch shows and movies together.

The Past (and misc.)

(Warning:Mature Content! Viewer discretion advised!) Let's face it: middle school is hell for everyone. But for Lilac, it was beyond hell. You see about a week in, the most popular girl in school, Amy Teller, went missing. There was a big freak out, and nobody could find her. But eventually, halfway through the year, the police had found that Amy Teller had been kidnapped and (*Censored*) by the school's janitor, a man named Edward. Why, you may ask, did this make Lilac's middle school life so terrible? Well, I'll tell you. Lilac had an uncle. His name was Edward Rider, and he was sent to prison for the kidnapping and (*Censored*) of Amy Teller.

After that, people didn't take to kindly to Lilac. At first, it was just insults. But then, things started getting physical. She'd get sent home with a black eye or a busted lip. And after countless times of her mother and father's shared gasps of shock and embraces of distress, Lilac had had enough. You see, there was a man named Mr. Tanning. He was a muscular man with black hair and a handlebar mustache. He was a regular at her parents' (original) bakery, and he ran a local boxing gym. So one day, when he came in to get his bread, she begged him to train her. So he did, for two reasons: he liked the fact that she just wanted to be strong, and she promised she'd get him a discount on all bakery items.

She trained almost nonstop in those few years, and Mr. Tanning bought excess amount bread. It didn't take her long to get to the point where she could defend herself against the bullies. But then, near the end of 8th grade, Lilac got into a sticky situation. She was about to go head to head with a few of the guys who usually picked on her, when they did something they'd never done before: they all pulled out knives. Some were switch blades, some kitchen knives, but it didn't matter. She was able to escape with only a few nicks and cuts, and when she told her parents, they decided that perhaps a change in scenery would be nice. So they packed up and said goodbye to everyone they knew. Mr. Tanning and some of the other guys at the boxing gym threw her a going away party. They got her a cake, and also all chipped in to buy her two presents: a pair of bright red, brand new boxing gloves, and her very own punching bag. And with that, her hand her parents set off for a small town called Arrowsmith.

Of the three triplets, Conan is clearly the most confident of the three. Conan is the tallest, although whilst he may tower the shorter ninth graders, he certainly doesn't look that tall in his family. You would be hard pressed to find a ninth grader, and there would only be a few tenth graders, taller than Conan. This height has meant that he picks clothes from the adult section, and he enjoys this range. He picks button down shirts, with a comfortable, yet stylish, hoodie, most of the time. He pairs this with jeans, and a pair of simple trainers. Using his height to his full advantage, Conan uses a home gym four or five times a week, and this has allowed him to get quite fit, for a fourteen year old's standards at least. This is helped by his broad shoulders and naturally small waist.

Nicoletta has a preference for the simple: jeans, shirts with words on them (such a faux pas), Chucks, and bracelets that might come out of a Vans. Nicoletta's outfits are not going for fashion or style as many of the girls that roam the halls do, opting instead for more 'normal' and fitting attire. She's aping the 'low effort' style if only because she has no discernible eye for fashion or style at all. But then, that's what searching for identity is about, surely?

Nicoletta's hair is medium length and quite shiny for a muddy brown, matching her muddy eyes. At five foot six she's not going to be standing above anyone and her pale skin is not going to have her standing out much as well, which is actually rather nice. Nicoletta has the figure of a perpetually benched athlete, in that while she is trim and 'in shape', lack of any regular routine has left her with...call it 'extra' around the waist and torso.

Nicoletta is rather soft spoken but when her voice IS heard, chances are it comes tinged with a slight accent while blending with her mellow tone.

In the world there are leaders and there are followers, at least that's what practically every motivational speaker would tell you; but in the case of Nicoletta? It's absolutely true. Much of her life has been spent simply doing what others have told her to do with little regard for her own thoughts on the matter. It was one thing when her papa asked her to help out. It was another when suddenly the girls she hung out with at school were telling her what to do, who to associate with, and what matched with what. Nicoletta has been a follower for as long as she could remember, which is already far too long.

It's rare to see Nicoletta without a smile. However, when Nicoletta smiles it never seems to be out of genuine joy, and she only ever appears to contribute to conversations amongst her supposed peers in the vaguest manner possible. She's one of the popular crowd in school by virtue of the most shallow reasons possible and she knows that but sees no reason why she can't take advantage of that while it lasts. She wants to just be herself, but that's become harder and harder as she isn't quite sure who she is or what she wants...only that she doesn't want to suffer more talk over who's hooking up with who.

To her credit, she has begun taking steps to breaking out of her meek shell, starting by speaking up more and trying to let her voice be heard among a group of people damn near deaf to anything other than their own inflated egos. Nicoletta doesn't want to enter into adulthood having not made a single decision for herself, and with the rough part of the teenage years looming on the horizon, she hopes that a place where she'll spend four years with people will lead to some deep soul searching.

The Soriano's, despite doing fairly well for themselves in their businesses, live in a ranch house with two bedroom and one bathroom. It's located in the center of a cul-de-sac and its front lawn, which is cut on the regular by Nicoletta, is often a hot spot for block parties such as the Fourth of July Block Bash. There's a basketball hoop hanging over the garage and local residents that live on the block are allowed and encouraged to shoot if they feel so inclined. Nicoletta's room is the bigger bedroom and is kept clean - though her shelves are a bit crowded with all the candle figures she's been collecting. There's only one car in the garage but there's room for a second, for when Nicoletta earns it. The Soriano house is brown in color.

|| BIOGRAPHY ||

Nicoletta was born in Italy to Marco Soriano and Fio Soriano. Their only child, Nicoletta enjoyed a rather uneventful youth, often being left to her own devices while her parents were busying themselves with their careers: Marco being a chef and Laura a would-be pastry chef. Nicoletta can't recall much of note from her youth in Italy; it was a fairly average and thus un-noteworthy childhood. Things took a turn when Nicoletta's uncle Stefano came to the house with a proposition for Marco.

Stefano had a failing business in America that he was willing to give full ownership over to Marco, knowing that Marco often dreamed of opening his own restaurant. And so at the age of twelve Nicoletta was moved from Italy to America. By the time she was fourteen and entering high school, Soriano's was one of Arrowsmith's newest restaurants, noted for the quality of its menu and its use of locally sourced ingredients to give it that 'home town' sort of vibe.

Her life has never really been hers, and she hates that. She hasn't really made a choice for herself - with her papa not-so-subtly informing her that she needs to get great grades and focus on a future business degree to take over the family business and her own sinking feeling that her quiet and awkward ways makes her an undesirable. She hates that she hasn't been able to speak up. She hates that she's on a path she was put on. But most of all she hates that she just grins and bears it.

She wants to find who she is, what she wants, and how to change as a person. Four years is a long enough time to do it.

Cass isn't trying to impress anyone with how she dresses, which might explain why she often has a sort of greasy, slovenly look about her, from t-shirts that have what people hope are drink and food stains, to jeans that long since lost their last legs, down to shoes that are run over. There's a certain madness to her outfits that somehow manages to feel just so...fitting. Her hair, golden blonde, is often stringy and unkempt while her blue eyes are striking if only because of her heavy and dark eye shadow that stands out amidst her otherwise pale complexion. Her hair wasn't always blonde, there was a time when it was muddy brown - bleaching had a more lasting impact. She prefers the blonde style anyway.

Cass is of average height at 5'5" and her lack of a strict exercise routine is quite clear from her figure, which isn't as slim and trim as is the 'ideal'. A diet of bad food will do that to a person. So long as she can make her ass fit into her jeans, she's perfectly fine with her choices. Some have called her style punk. She thinks that that is stupid as her style is just whatever. There's no style.

When she speaks it's with a rasp that is aggressive even if she's speaking at a normal volume.

There's always that one person you know growing up that everyone figures will be a dropout, burnout, or behind bars because of their attitude, that person parents don't want their kids hanging out with for the most superficial of reasons, and Cass is that girl. Her reputation is almost as loud as she is, and considering the pipes she has that's quite impressive. Cass controls a room with her voice when her actions don't do it for her, though most people just find her grating, gross, or annoying. Cass has little time for the people who can't keep up with her on some level though she holds the people that give her a chance in high regard. She's never going to be the one to apologize for her actions, but she'll also be the first one to volunteer to do something that could get people into trouble.

Cass has an undeniable charisma about her, the same way that a front man for a band would have and though the legality and morality of her ideas stretch the limits of acceptable, one can never deny that a time with Cass is never boring. Whether or not that's a good thing is up to the individual.

If there's a class divide in Arrowsmith, the Rowley's are on the right side of it. Casa de Cass is a rather nice house, two stories, room for growth, and serves as a reminder to people that the Rowley family are kind of smug assholes because of their well paying career choices. There's a garden out back that Cass uses and is the one thing she actually likes about the house, other than her room where her pets "The Dead Fishmen" reside. It's a two car garage and Cass eagerly wants to fill the second car slot.

A question many have after meeting Cass is 'was she always like that?' And the answer might come as a surprise if ever there was anyone around to hear it. Cass, born Cassandra, Rowley comes from a well off family, the type of family that has wings of a hospital or building named after them after they die. The type of family that would live in a gated community and speaks ill about those that look different than they do, or as gated as it gets in a town of rural sorts. You know the type. Of course the price tag involved with Cassidy Rowley's services makes the Rowley family hardly liked, and Cass is doing them no favors. Cass bought into the lifestyle as a child, taking the piano lessons and being groomed to be a perfect little well mannered adult meant for bigger things than a podunk town chosen to raise a child in. It was around the end of middle school when Cass began to change. Her parents liked to blame some of her friends as a bad influence, but it was just a matter of Cass seeing her parents and realizing that she wanted to be anything but them.

Cass in middle school was a good student, friendly, playful, her bouncy, bushy brown hair was always messy from running around. But something changed on day one of high school. Cass Rowley was...different. She accomplished this by wearing clothes straight out of punk video and acting wild.

No one's sure if it's just a phase, but people that knew Cass in middle school know enough to realize she's changed over the course of a summer. There has to be a reason why. Cass sure isn't telling.

Allie used to live in a small town named North Port in Florida, but when her father was listed as MIA in the army, her mother had to move. It broke Allie and Elizabeth's heart to hear that he was potentially dead. Todd's hometown was Arrowsmith, so Elizabeth had them move there, thinking it would give them some closure. Allie was horrified to move somewhere else, she didn't want to move from all of her friends. She told her friends and asked if they would stay in touch, she knew they wouldn't. Elizabeth could hardly look at her daughter, because all she saw was Todd. Allie was a lot like Todd, down to the smallest mannerisms. He would always be biting his nails, and without anything to do, you'd look over and see her biting her nails. Elizabeth cried herself to sleep nearly every night, and Allie felt so heartbroken for her, not even just her, herself even. She lost her Daddy, and that hurt like nothing else. So they tried to comfort each other, as they didn't want to be sad all the time. They had to move on.
