He watches her move aeound the room with a cheshire grin while asking in response to her request, "If I may be so bold as to ask, does mistress routinely find herself in situations from whence she needs rescuing?"

Kyle stopped bouncing on his bed for a moment, then continued. He looked at the stunning newcomer with trepidation, curiosity, and excitement. His first meeting with someone here and he had to be cool about it. And stop bouncing on his bed like a five year old. Kyle bounced one more time, bouncing off the bed with a slight spin and landed on his feet. Kyle gave the girl a smile, took one step forward.......then tripped and fell flat on his face. Kyle clutched his face in pain then realized what happened. He got up quickly embarrassed. Kyle blushed furiously and tried to speak in a calm voice.

"W-we-well yea no I mean,"Kyle took a moment to calm himself then flashed a smile,"Well first I had to fight off a wave of Spanish pirates. Then once I collected the reward money I bought a luxury cruise ship. I invited the president of every country in the world to the boat party I held, then held every one of them for ransom. Then when I got away safely, I gave all my money to the villians in need charity, broke into a gym, stole all the equipment, and did the same for a furniture store. Then I got here and lost everything I stole, but fortunately my dad is Dick Grayson, so with my familys connection to the principal, I'm not surprised the principal left a little welcoming present."

Kyle finished his little story with a bow and a chuckle.

"Thank you ill be here all week ma'am."

"Well, no" Rebekah replied as she re-locked her room and tucked the totem into a little pouch at her belt. She set out across the quad, heading for the main hall where students would be gathering. "But this is an academy for superheroes, right? Not exactly the most calm and peaceful place ever. For all I know, a supervillain could drop from the ceiling at any moment."
Or rise up from underground she added mentally, with a slight grimace. "I don't really expect to get into that much trouble, and I'll try not to. I hope this conversation will turn out to be really pointless. But just in case it's not, you know, it's best to be safe, right?"

Tsura had to admit that as much as she wanted to make friends she wasn't exactly an expert but the process of observation was fun. So she decided concealed observation the best course an began reflecting only Ultra Violet which made her seem to vanish. She could still be seen if you could see ultra violet.

It was presently the only aspect of her ability that wasn't random and that she could control with predictable results.

She giggled to herself as she remembered discovering she could do it while trying to turn off her halo of light. But that was the way she thought how anyone learned the switches an knobs of their ability. Who but you actually understood your focus and willpower, the teachers were here more to school them all on ethics, the physics of the energy each produced and actual schooling everyone her age required.

Bored quickly by her train of thought she started to move across campus towards a knot of over students and realized she was now intangible as she swept her fingers through the branch of a flowering bush.

Kalinda laughed, as the boy hurriedly got off the bed, hoping to be cool about it, before falling. She smiled, "I'm not someone you have to impress. You don't need to make up wild stories" she glanced about the room, "but you do know there is an actually gym with a butt load of equipment" she said, "and I am so far away from being a ma'am!"

She shook her head, giving another laugh, "I am kalinda. And I'm just a simple student, like you"

Although her dorm room was rather barren, compared to this boys one.

Toto uses a single claw to scrath at his lower jaw as if he were rubbing his chin in thought. "If you are here to improve your grasp of your abilities, it simply won't do if Toto were to rescue his mistress at the first sign of trouble. However, I do promise to provide exactly the amount of assistance necessary to preserve your life. In order to provide said assistance, I must ask. What exactly makes you worthy of attending such a school? Also, on the subject of school attendance, this is an Academy of Heroes and Villains, I believe. Therefore, you've no need to fear so called villains falling from your ceiling. They will be seated next to you in your classes."

Kyle smiled, trying to figure out if she understood he was being dramatic on purpose, for theatric effect. Kyle looked at his new equipment and shrugged.

"Yea well......I only perform for an audience when I'm ready. Having this stuff in here, Grandpa probably knew I would be more comfortable in here working out. Besides,"Kyle said putting his left hand behind his head and offering his other hand to Kalindra,"I am a performer, my method is my secret."

Kyle gave a light hearted laugh and smiled. Then blushed suddenly at a thought in his head.

[color=2e3192]"Oh um..wel-well I mean...This is the boys dormitory...your a girl....I mean unless you identify as a guy but I mean you look like a girl and even if you do identify as a girl you can do whatever I mean I don't mind you being in my room but I mean.....,"/color]Kyle stammered out turning even more red.

Kyle took a deep breath.

"I mean if you don't have a room I can hang a curtain in here or something. wait a second on another note how did you get into my room in first place?"

"Exactly the amount of assistance necessary to preserve my life..." she repeated slowly, out loud. That sounded like a suspiciously specific wording to her, but it was more or less what she'd been asking for. She'd only asked for intervention if she wasn't able to save herself, specifically so she would be able to, say, drive a car on public roads without the djinn suddenly swooping in to avert the risks. On the other hand, that wording would allow her to get beaten within an inch of her life and not trigger any protections. Maybe she would have to refine that later.

"What can I do, you mean? Two things: I can grow or shrink non-living items into perfect scale replicas of themselves, like you saw when I was unpacking, and I can teleport to anywhere I can see. See?"

She disappeared, and popped back into view right in front of the big wooden double doors to the hall. She pulled one open and stepped inside.

When Rebekah reappears, she is greeted by a yawn and a bored gaze from Toto. "Is that all madam? One can't help but wonder if the limits you listed are mental, rather than physical. I suppose the potential for improvement IS the purpose of this school, isn't it? In the meantime, it's fortunate that you stumbled upon my totem." Toto follows his latest owner into the hallway while continuing speaking telepathically, "Which reminds me, mistress. There is no need for you to carry my totem with you. I would advise you to hide it in a safe spot, rather than keeping it on your person. I will be able to accompany you regardless of where my totem is located."

This boy was certainly theatrical, seeming to have a flare for drama. She accepted his hand, shaking it. Even through her gloved hands, she could feel his nervousness, and embarrassment but it wasn't a potent as it could have been if it was bare skin.

She smiled, letting him get out what he was saying, and replied "I have my ways of getting in. I can control Shadows. I can travel through them, generally unnoticed" she said, "you seemed interesting so I followed you"

Again, she smiled, and said "thanks, but I have my own room. Although certainly not as interesting as this." She glanced about again, before giving a shrug, "shall I just call you boy or do you have a name?" She said, in an easy voice. "I mean if you are going to offer your room to someone, they should know your name" she said with a laugh@dabombjk

Kyle took a step back and smiled. He struck a pose, head down and arms out diagonally, then looked up and twisted his body so that he made a almost spinning motion.

"Well well you are in luck. You shall be the first to know my name, a name that will one day be considered legendary. Motehrs will name their children after me, Fathers will want their sons to be me, and everyone will swoon at my name. The legendary, the amazing, the incredible, all titles that would fit my name perfectly. The one the only-."

Kyle took a second for dramatic effect, then spun in a circle, and stopped looking at Kalinda, with one hand pointed up and the other in a fist hanging at his side.

"-Kyle....please please hold your applause. I understand you may be slightly shaken by the awesomeness but those goose bumps you are feeling will wear off."

"Where would you suggest?" Rebekah responded, still talking out loud. I'd have thought it was safest where I can keep an eye on it myself. If I had a nice, secure place I'd use it, but I've only just arrived in this school, let alone this country, and I don't have any secret, private hidey-holes just yet."

Stopping in a space off path Tsura shifted visual frequency appearing with a flash because of her nervousness as she hoped she were tangible by side effect. To test if it worked she reaches out toq touch a nearby tree only to see her fingertips ripple across the surface like a projected image.

Sighing she begins focusing her will into returning to normal which in turn causes her to appear caught in colored stage lights as she reflects her way through the spectrum of colors. The act of shifting eventually does return her to the physical world but has the side effect of drying out the grass beneath her feet.

Emily Nakajima

Following a sweet mouth watering aroma, Nakajima went completely the wrong direction of the school going solely off her nose and stomach. She headed in the direction of a strange sweet smell, the moment she was halfway to the smells origins, she froze in her tracks like a deer caught in headlights. Nakajima looked around not knowing the area she was in and inner panic began to set in. She tried to retrace her steps to how she got here, but the only thing that began coming to her mind was her telling Jin that she was leaving early and remembered that she had a simple looking map with directions to the academy.

Nakajima began to calm down as she pulled out a small folded up map from her jacket and began to unfold it, after studying the bright red marker marking an odd route to the academy. Naka looked at the names of the streets near her and on the map when she found her location on the map she got back on the track she marked on her map and began running to school feeling as if she was running late. The moment she laid eyes upon the academy Nakajima felt like she needed to climb the tallest building. Instead of just going through the gates, Naka climbed up onto the gate and leaped down to the other side.

The next thing Nakajima laid her eyes on was a girl who seemed to just appear out of nowhere turning the grass around her feet into dried out pale green color. Naka wondered what the girl could do and what she probably just did, her father did tell her that people at this place would have super powers and abilities while a small few people may not have powers. Naka didn't hold back yelling."HI !" At the girl and waving giving her a smile as well. She approached the girl and looked around questioningly not knowing where to go." So where do we go ?" She asked the white dressed girl.

As Rebekah walks down the hall, Toto remains gathered between her legs. While they travel together through the school, The One makes sure to take note of every student they pass, as well as the layout of the building."After all, when one has a mistress as frail as I, surrounded by beings that may rival even my power, an escape route could be needed at any moment to escort her to safety," Toto thinks to himself. In response to his mistress' question, he replies, "If mistress pleases, Toto will search the school and surrounding grounds for a suitable location."

Nathan lowered himself gently onto the tiled concrete pathway directly in front of the Academy's Gate, his eyes telescoping onto the intricate engravings of the gate's metal. As he walked forward in awe, he felt the steady shift from a flat surface to a microscopic incline revealing what he assumed to be a scale, measuring his weight. Likely a safety precaution, he continued to walk forward and took in the faces of the people that walked past him. Due to his intricate memory, he would be easily capable of recalling the exact likeness of every person he saw, which would be useful in social interactions or identification. As he continued to walk, his awe inspired confidence withdrew as he noticed the looks of concern and contempt cast his direction due to his biologic nature, and lifted himself above their common glance and proceded forward through flight.

Lowering himself once again, but into a less trafficked walkway, he continued to take in the beauty of the surrounding architecture as he pulled the hood of his sweatshirt up. His outfit that day was rather simple, a pair of black jeans, his black converse, and a well fit dark-green hooded sweater. He recalled how often people looked at him in confusion while purchasing clothes, as if to say but robots don't have a sense of indecency, he had lost count of how many times he was forced to explain that he had things that needed to be covered up. After years of similar situations, he had finally lost the ability to retain his annoyances and simple began to retort "New Update, Siri will have it soon," before leaving, with or without clothing he had purchased.

Refocusing to the topic at hand, he found his ways walking towards a rather empty passway. Seeing that their weren't any people around, he happily lowered his hood, regaining his casual walking speed. As he continued to walk forward, he watched with interest as a girl appeared before him flashing different colors.(@RumikoOhara)

Embarrassed at having publicly lost control Tsura looks at Emily and smiles sheepishly but her expression shifts hearing the question; " So where do we go ?"

Such a nebulous question instantly engaged her problem solving as she rolled the words around in her head. It took a little mental gymnastics but she arrived at a suitable solution.

"I think that right now we are supposed to be checking into our rooms and then free time till orientation, but I could be wrong though it seems a logical conclusion." she answers with an unusual accent.

That's when she notices Nathan an blushes which causes her to glow as if a small unseen search light were turned on her.

Kalinda couldn't help a smile, enjoying the boys theatrics. She gave a soft laugh when he finished and said "well, it's a pleasure to meet you, Kyle." The boy was definitely something, and he had a curious mix of nervousness and...jolliness. It was almost...atturing.

She smiled again, "well, this is technically my second year here, so if you'd like I could show you around" it would be nice to have another friend, other thank Zack and Griffin. Especially given she didn't even know if they were returning.

And besides, they had some time anyway. Maybe only ten minutes, but it was something. "And we can head to power development"

Kyle smiled and secretly whooped inside his mind. Kyle was slightly nervous because this girl seemed to be slightly mysterious, and the way she entered his room ... Kyle wondered if it was an accident or something else. Kyle shook his head slightly brushed away his thoughts. He was overthinking this. Kyle thought to himself," Not everyone has to be a suspect of something. This isn't one of my dads and grandpas detective games. Just relax, smile, put on a good show, and you have othing to worry about."

"Well that sounds quite lovely. Ill admit ive heard a lot about this school and I'm quite eager to explore. And I would just be oh so humbled if you were the one to show me around."

Kyle extended his arm towards Kalinda and held it out.

"My dear if you could be so kind as to escort me around the premises I would be most fortunate,"Kyle said in his best well mannered joking posh voice.

"I think I'll keep it on me for now" Rebekah decided. "You don't mind if I shrink it a bit for storage? It's completely reversible, and I always keep my bag as close to me as possible. It should be safe there, especially if nobody else knows about it."

As she said that, however, she looked suspiciously up around the hallway's ceiling for any security cameras or other recording devices. Security around this school was tight, so she wouldn't be surprised of the buildings were under constant surveillance. She didn't spot any, but that was no guarantee that they weren't there. "Does anyone else here know about it?"
