The spec, upon closer inspection, is surrounded by an impenetrable shield of magic, or energy. Inside appears to be an angel, and he appears to be sleeping. The orb slowly descends to the surface.

The robed creature ignores the orb..however, as it decends a portal opens beside it. A large robotic mech attempts to pick the orb up with it's metalic hands.

The mech pulls it though, and once though the portal the angel finds itself in a reasearch facility. Large groups of humanoid creatures in hazmat suits scurry about, readying several machines and such.

The angel begins to wake up, and the forcefield begins to fade away.

Several of them have odd looking rifles trained on the angel, as one of them walks forward. It starts doing basic math gestures with its hands, trying to determine the mental capacity of the angel.

The angel's skin looks lightly ashen, like the color has been drained from him. He watches the gestures of the being in front of him, then hangs his head in despair.

Wires run like spiderwebs through the walls, and yet almost all of them are dead. Those that connect the still functioning turrets are still active, and yet instead of electrical wiring you find glass tubes that transport an odd purple glowing energy, the legendary Plot Energy, said to be sentient.

The infiltration drones scan the energy to ensure its purity.

Meanwhile the group that was tasked with travelling to the recently used attack drone deployer continues their journey.

".....Do you understand me?" The clone asks in English, with a heavy German accent. Some of the other creatures also walk over, but these ones are holding baskets of food and water.

As the man in the mask appears, the drone hesitates in it's attack. The barrage of lasers from Odin also halts. "Name your purpose here. You stand before a representative of the Cucumber Empire."

I turn, giving you a look, sighing. Once, it would have been impossible to penetrate Odin's defenses so easily. But, now, it seemed people were taking it for granted. "Tell me who you are before I turn you into a cluster of quasars."

"i'm afraid you might find that difficult" the man replies, towering over you but rather thin, wearing a pin-stripe suit and holding a cane out to his side

I raise an eyebrow, smiling. "A suit, a cane, and an obnoxious attitude? You remind me of an old friend." I hold out my hand, and a loud zooming can be heard. "I'm sure you've heard of me at some point or another. I used to real this pathetic dimension. Oh, and I don't care how powerful you are." I pick up a cup of coffee from a nearby monitor and take a sip. "I just prepared all of Odin to kill you in the event of my death. Now, why are you here?"

"I'm sure you've heard of me at some point or another. I used to real this pathetic dimension. Oh, and I don't care how powerful you are." I pick up a cup of coffee from a nearby monitor and take a sip. "I just prepared all of Odin to kill you in the event of my death. Now, why are you here?"

"i wish to make you an offer" the man says, a wide smile spreading across his face as he steps forward to watch the monitors with you. "my my... such difficulties with such insignificant things you have" he remarks, noting the fact that despite the armaments you had almost none of them online

I sigh and lean back in m chair, rubbing my temples. "Don't even start. I've been working for days just to get her moving and the basic turrets online. Luckily the repair drones were easily reactivated, or restoration would have been impossible." I sit up, and walk up to the man, annoyed by how I couldn't look down at him. "State your offer, or get out of my spaceship. As you've noticed, I have a lot of work ahead of me."

"as you may have noticed i am a man of means, and have noticed your dire straights... maybe i could be persuaded to offer... alleviation to your situation" the man replies from behind you, having changed position in the room without your notice as he smiles widely, letting you connect the dots

I chuckle, unimpressed, as I walk over to my main screen, turning my back to the stranger. "You really do remind me of my friend. His name's Bob. You see, Bob was always offering people deals. He could steal your body, bind your soul and control your mind, but he needed you to agree. Just one moment of stupidity." I turn, and put down my coffee, leaning down on the stained desk, my face serious. "I'll need it all on paper, if we're making a deal."

"here it is" the man replies, offering a paper and having appeared in front of you in an instant, looking down at you with a smile that is neither friendly nor warm
