She thinks something, but blocks Vanitas from hearing it. "So that means that if I don't have a mental block, HE can hear them?! I don't want hime to read my thoughts!" You can probably think of who 'HE' is...

"So you say, but how much can you prove?" The figure asks, its voice never changing. The others of the guild are around, and reveal themselves. You count nine others, scattered around the room.

I smile and snap my fingers. Slowly the sun turns black and all of the demons, dark guilds and any other evil doer of the lands can feel themselves grow stronger by a large margin.
"Proof enough?" I ask with a smile.

The strap of the pack slid off Zoe's shoulder as she allowed the heavy weight to land on the floor with a dull thump. It was over. The three months traversing back and forth from camp to camp was done. It had taken every ounce of conviction, but the summit bid had failed; and there was no one left at base camp now that the season was coming to an end.

Zoe noticed a figure in the distance, his skin pale, his eyes glowing a light blue. His one hand seems large than the other. He seems to be walking Zoe's way.

Without the Sherpas, the other equipment and supplies would have to remain at camp along with all the dining tent and the unused oxygen bottles piled next to it. There was no way Zoe could carry it down to Kathmandu herself, and even if she could what was the point. As she looked out at the wasteland that was base camp, her eyes caught movement and a glaring blue light. For a moment her pulse stopped, could it be that someone else had made it. It was foolish to solo at this point in the season, and she didn't recognize the garb as any of the climbers she had passed on the way down. She threw a hand into the air to wave at the figure. "Hello" Zoe's voice sounded weak on the wind, but the emptiness of the valley ensured it would carry to the strange figure.

The figure starts walking faster. It waves with its larger hand, and zoe sees it is metallic color, most likely a gauntlet.
"Hello?" The figure yells back, starting to nearly sprint.
