I had to accept that a long time friend of mine and I had to go separate ways forever. he was like a brother to me, but some people... jsut aren't the same as they used to be. I'll get over it soon.

..... I'd say you should look at the bright side of things, but that would be silly. You just lost someone important to you, and that will always sting in the worst way imaginable. In the end, all the people and things you care about will fade away to nothing. It hurts, but one must accept it. The only way to move forward in life is to look at the things you have, and work as hard as you can to keep them around for as long as possible. Even if it's a small thing, make the moments you spend with your loved ones as good as you can, and cherish them to the fullest.

*Shrugs* It's the simple truth. Time wears everything away. In the end, everything all of humankind achieves is for nothing, as our sun expands. Entropy will end our universe, and humanity will be wiped out, if we're still alive then. Nothing anyone does will ever achieve anything in the greater scheme of things.
The point is that you should make the most of the moments you've got.

I don't want to make a difference in the universe, or the existence of humanity. I don't even really want to change the world, or my country. What I want to change, and what really matters, is the lives of the things around me. The things I care about are here, and now, and I have an entire lifetime given to me. I'm going to cherish every moment of it, and so should you.
My basic philosophy is that the most important things are your happiness, and the happiness of the people around you.

Sometimes the cheesy things are true. The point, my dear, is the fact that when I watch my little brothers play, it brings a smile to my face. The point is that when I talk to you, and the other people on the forum, it makes me feel happy, secure, at home. The point, Angel, is the fact that dying doesn't matter in the here and now, because in the here and now, all that matters is whether or not you're happy.

I growl at her, but purr involuntarily at her touches before being shocked. "Did I just PUR?!" I ask myself in my mind, angry. Then the man from before appears once more, this time turning me human, and disappears again. His appearance is similar to Yoshii from Baka and Test. I, now a fairly heavy human, cause the both of us to fall, landing in an awkward position.
