Biography: The life of Anthony Stark is one of many twist and turns. At a young age he had everything he could have ever wanted. His father was one of the wealthiest Lords in all the land. This thought made him a very busy man and never had time to spend with Tony. His mother was also a very busy lady tending to all the needs of the Lord and all the castle functions. Whenever Tony asked to see one of his parents he was always rejected and told to go do something else. Since he was always alone Tony spent most of his time in the castle libraries studying new things and always experimenting with alchemy and crafting things. He also frequently spent time with the castle blacksmiths. In the years to come Tony would go off to the best college in the lands and return a master in blacksmithing and enchanting. While at the college the mages gave him a crystal amulet that focuses the magical energy around him into intense blast of heat that he could shoot from his hands. After a few more years of training and exploring the lands he became a formidable warrior and an expert in archery. One day a knock came on the door of the residence he was staying at with a few friends. He was greeted by the knights of his father's kingdom with grim expressions. They gave him the news of his father's death at the hand of mercenaries while he was traveling with his mother in political business. With those news the heartbroken prince returned immediately to his kingdom to be crowned the new Lord of the land. In the past few years Lord stark would wage war against all mercenary companies that he could obsessing over his parents death. He used his knowledge in blacksmithing and alchemy to forge and enchant with the help of many mages that he paid off to make a powerful and deadly armor. With this armor he was given a blade. In the next years after the mercenary wars he would be known and feared through all the lands as The Iron king who led his army in the front lines and never lost a war. In the last few years he has settled down and focused now on the upkeep of his kingdom. He hopes to keep the peace in the land and raise an heir worthy of the Iron throne.

I'd like to reserve King Thor. I've already started an application which I need to fill in the bio. My only question is the history freestyle? Is there anything I need to know about Thor/House Odinson before I write it out? And if this has a realistic setting of the medieval times, would Thor and the Asgardians have to be human age or not? The history is made up to a certain extent, with some parallels to a song of fire and ice lore. A few key differences however.

--In the times of the antiquity there were two highly developed superpowers, Atlantis and (Old) Asgard. Many believed that these super-powers routinely fought eachother for resources, ultimately ending in the destruction of at least both civilization(s). All that remains of the old Asgard lies in ruins at the bottom of the ocean.

--Faced with an unwinnable outcome, the Grey King Imperius Rex made a pact with Borr Odinson, in exchange for his life and his kingdom, his people would be spared from destruction and allowed to rebuild in a new home of their choosing. He went down as Atlantis burned. Descendants of the grey king reformed in what is now known as the iron islands.

--The first Asgardians(joined by some Atlanteans) came to the continent sometime during the first Age and spared Marvelos from an ancient threat, although there had been natives existing on the continent prior to the Asgardian occupation, they were more or less "unenlightened" free-folk tribes without any centralized governing force to protect themselves from external threats.

--Borr Odison was the founder of House Odinson and would go on to become the first unified king of the realms.

--The various native freefolks ended up becoming commonfolks under Borr Odison. House Rogers is in fact a descendant of one of the oldest prominent native families prior to Asgardian acquisition. Commonfolk are in fact a majority of the population of Marvelos, but a "minority" all the same.

--The rise of the mutant population(s) came henceforth with the intermingling of the various groups, although Borr generally believed Asgardians to be a supreme people with no equal, he fathered many children with commoners. The children he fathered would go on to found many houses of the realms. Though these bastard borns couldn't claim the throne for their own, they could establish territories of their own to rule. Many did just that and fought in a succession of wars over claim of these territories.

--While the Summer Isles aren't technically considered apart of the king's realms, being an independent island nation with a diverging origin, they are considered key players in Marvelos and throughout much of the world. The world's most valued metal is produced in the summer isles, many of the world's magic and technology advancements originate from the Summer Isles. With the assassination of late king T'chaka, it goes without saying that The Summer Isles will take a more active role in their associations with the realms.

I was going to wait to see if the tournament idea was approved first, but as I think this could alter that decision, I'm going to go ahead and post it.

I want to have sent my former mentor and current advisor Hank McCoy to houses Grey, Rogers, Odinson, and Stark to personally invite their leaders, and inform them that I wished to negotiate a treaty with them, trade, peace, or military alliance, whichever woul entice them the most. The tournament will also be a cover for our meetings

Unknown to them, I hope to form a group to conquer other nations and guarantee victory. Parker and udaku (?) can join if they find out about it, but I won't have approached them in the same way.

Mainly I want to get them working together under my guidance, and if hydra and (maybe) doom or another house has to fall remake that happen, he doesn't really care. I don't expect everyone to join, though, so I don't think it will be that one sided, especially with only four other houses being invited.

It's up to you, though. If you want me to only ally with one other house or you want the peace talks/alliance to fail, I can do that too.

I'm perfectly fine with the tournament idea, btw I had a similar tournament idea in mind anyway involving all the houses conjoining for an Olympic-like event of cross realm games. I was going to have a three day event planned with a major plot fight occurring on the second day of the tournament. I was thinking during the day they can have medieval inspired games and at night they can do the nighttime social gathering thing.

Going from there I wanted to develop the ongoing conflicts I had in mind between House Hydra and House Udaku, as well as flesh out some of the motivations of the other houses. I believe some of you already have these long-term ideas in mind of what kind of alliances and dynamics you expect from this game.

The outcome of Black Panther vs The Juggernaut on the second day of the tournament was going to set-up a few things down the road. In particular the incoming divisions to come and the Ragnarok story-line.
