I just gotta ask, what use does Vesta have for English? She might as well just take the whole Kindle from Alexander if she really wanted more knowledge, and how the hell has his Kindle not died yet, I don't think he cut it off and cut it back on randomly to check time, or recharged it. It would've probably made a little more sense for Vesta to say."Hand over the device and I'll teach you how to throw rocks at people." The post just sounds a little odd to me tbh.

It's complicated. She doesn't have a use for it, but it's also her desire to learn about Earth (and thus English so she can read the damned things) because it interests her that made her agree.
Also I thought that Vesta was getting the kindle >.> (Just that she needs to be taught English as well lol). Also she can't teach Alexander to throw rocks, he doesn't have a compatibility with Earth magic, only Yin. In the universe of Re Zero, you can only be compatible with one magic (Unless they have a DP that says otherwise)
And a reason why Avery can't teach her? Mate, he was like 12 or something at the time. And he hasn't had the need to use English since coming here, so he would be beyond rusty, have little knowledge to teach anyway and his memories are stuffed anyway.

- Alexander signed up with Vesta, giving her his Kindle and promising to teach her to read English so that she can get its knowledge. He also promised to use his Divine Blessing to serve her.

- Avery and Duncan went off to do merc work.

- Myst has an actually smart plan and takes advantage of the Canon Characters' disappearance to buy the Roswaal Mansion and the mines where Magic Crystals came from. He then proceeds to lay off the miners and replace them with illegal slaves, aka people who got themselves into gambling debts in his Casino. Not just that, but the nearby village got its taxes raised as well.

- Myst then meets up with Gyzo Celestia (Vesta's uncle, whom she defeated in a competition to become the best Earth Mage), and both make a pact to defeat the Main Celestia Branch, aka bring down Vesta's Father and Vesta together.

Kurokono (WIP)

Name: Kurokono
Appearance:

Magic: Water - Due to his lack of formal training, he tends to freeze himself from each casts
Divine Protection: N/A

Personality: Kurokono is an honest cop, putting his honor & pride ahead of wealth & power. He doesn't think before acting, often relying on his mere instincts to do his job, which may end up terribly. He has a lack of common sense, and tends to slack on his job. Due to his upbringing from solely his grandfather, he is bad at using newer technologies like mobile phones & computers. His knowledge of history is off, he believed that he had time travelled to the Sengoku Jidai after he entered Lugnica. So, to "blend in" with the crowd, he acts as a travelling ronin. He is friendly & cheerful when talking with people, often smiling or laughing during interactions, even in battle. He is very superstitious, and often follows traditions of burning joss papers & joss sticks closely. His time in Lugnica has changed him, getting more cautious and cunning, except when he gets drunk, whelp

Background: Born in a small town in Japan, Kurokono grown up in a typical, simple life. His parents were died from a car accident, so his grandfather took care of him. His grandfather taught him on the sword for a long while. He decided to become a police after graduating from highschool when his grandfather... still lives. He was caught into the portal during a shopping trip where he bought his grandfather's sword and a souvenirs of some sort of a penguin mascot.
