Oh don't get me wrong. I enjoy the show, but Subaru probably drank lead laced milk as a kid cause its frustrating how long it takes for him to finally go "OH! That's right! I can just use what I learned in my past lives to make this time better!" or, even more infuriatingly so, "Oh! If I just, you know, tell them what's wrong and what's going on instead of playing the pronoun game for 20 minutes, then they might work with me!"

I'm all for everyman type characters who actually grow and develop into a hero as opposed to being powerful from the start, but there are just moments when he's just literally being stupid and making some seriously retarded decisions that go beyond just being inexperienced and naive.

I don't know, I fucking hate the dude, but I appreciate him as a character, and any anime that successfully creates a character arch and suspense to the level they do earns a thumbs up from me regardless.

Not to mention how he treats Rem. Like, for fuck sake Subaru, forget about Emelia, she's got nothing on this kick ass demon maid! I would honestly call this anime one the greatest IF it had the balls to actually go with Subaru's "runaway from this mess" plan. Like, I was actually hoping he would just go with it instead of wasting his life and time on this seemingly never ending torrent of hardships. Alas, the show did not elevate its self to that level of greatness.

Hmm...depends? I can't say, really. She's obviously not going to go around killing people indiscriminately unless they get in the way of one of her marks.

So unless one of her marks happen to be them...

Also remember she does disguise herself for her work, so someone would have to also get past that. In the event something happens and she is forced into a combat situation when she isn't disguised, she's likely going to find a way to either flee, or make it look like she survived by sheer luck if possible.

Reinhardt would have stopped him. Reinhardt is pretty much the strongest character in the show, but his strenght comes from "Swinging a sword" and that is about it, but he swings the sword so well that things just die. In fact, the gospels used by the Witch Cult are primarily used to form a plan which doesn't include Reinhardt getting in the way, which is why he always seems to be at some far-off place whenever shit is getting real.
