Hi there! All's ok, just a little on the slow side.

By the way, I'll have a post done in a few and was wondering if I could have my character ask a guard to take her to the Knight's HQ? I figure that it would be sensate to seek help of the authorities first, after arriving at an unknown place, so Eris will just do it. Furthermore, she just loves knights and stuff like that, of course she wouldn't lose the chance to see a real Knight's Order HQ.

Well being good is better than it's opposite, so good for you :D

Wouldn't be bothered in the slightest if you were to use an NPC to get to the Iron Bell Knights HQ. The more the merrier, I always say.

So, I assume that Maria came to the lobby, or that the knight escorted Eris to Maria's Room, right? Your post doesn't make it very clear which way it's, so I'll just assume that everyone is the same place right now for my reply.

Magic has elements, each person has one element unless they have a blessing to give them more than one. Magic can be learned, but if you are new to the world [ie someone born on earth rather than in Lugnica or any of the other kingdoms in the Re;Zero universe] you should not be able to comprehend how magic works until after you are taught by someone else. Not everyone has the affinity to utilize magic well or at all, and it is a somewhat rare trait to be skillful, but considering we are PC characters one should be able to show skill within this department.
