@PKMNB0Y He may secondary in Aether so he can elongate his life span. Strictly that, he doesn't want to heal his wounds or anything, all he wants is to live longer so more things can have fist casted upon them.
Age: Unknown, but believed to be in his early 50s.
Appearance: (will post picture later)
The Muscle Wizard is an older man, standing at a good 6'4". If his name didn't make it obvious enough, he is a very muscular man, to the point where he looks similar to Goku's body style. He wears two wristbands, both with a symbol for Earth. He has a white mustache in the shape of biceps, and he wears a torn tunic around his waist, as well as somewhat-baggy grey pants. He also somehow found a pair of shutter shades, which he wears constantly as a sign of his badassery.
Abilities: Aside from being able to literally lift a small house, he has developed two different styles of combat, mainly involving his claim to fame, which is being a badass and punching the shit out of everything.
"I CAST FIST" The Muscle Wizard punches something so powerful it creates a mini-explosion, damaging his hand a small bit in the process, as well as whatever he just punched.
Champion Style The Muscle Wizard has perfected a style of combat he's called his own, where it relies on the air to deal heavy damage from both momentum and from an advantage point. His Qi helps with this, as he can spring through the air with a pillar made from stone pushing him upwards.
Affinity: His primary Qi is Earth, which he uses for transportation methods, whereas he lifts a slab of solid rock with his understanding of how the Qi works, and uses it to fly around and for shelter. He strictly does not use it for direct combat, as he is devout to as fair of a fight as he can get. He is secondarily versed in Aether Qi, although he uses this strictly for elongating his life span.
Personality: The Muscle Wizard is a very bold and brave kind of man. He is very impulsive, and if diplomacy is not the answer, and intimidation isn't either, he will give you a fight that you will remember. His favorite color is orange, and he treats all life like it was an equal to him.
History: There is very little known about this very peculiar wizard. Some say he was created as a gift from the gods, while others say he's a crazy nutcase that is very particular about his body. The truth is... he was an average man like you and me, except he wasn't excited about his life. Once he obtained a knowledge of Qi, and learned how to adapt it himself, he wanted to become a unique life. One that would go down in history for a long time to come. As such, he devoted himself to working out, and one day, he was ready to conquer the world as his new name.
Equipment: He brings around a small kitten named Chowder (we're talking like a runt of a litter), who rides around in a pocket of his tunic.
Other: He is still a mortal, and can be killed like any other mortal. He's just built so well that it's hard to even scratch him.
@Banana: Okay, first things first: I meant you could assimilate some of the tropes, but not adapt the persona entirely. You still need something like... An actual name, for starters.
Next... Okay, explosion-on-punch would require at least a fire secondary, and even then, there should be a logical limit on that.
Right, no shutter shades. Those shouldn't exist. Look for clothing that would look logical in an early East Asian-style setting and go with something like that.
More explanation on the style of combat would also help, since, well... Pressurizing air for that sort of damage shouldn't be anywhere near easy to accomplish.
Expand on personality.
History is... Too comedic for the purposes of the RP, honestly.
So, uh... Yeah. You took this in a different direction than I was expecting, honestly. This RP is meant to be a bit more serious compared to what you're proposing, so... Pure 'muscle wizard' won't work. I was expecting something more like... A really strong older martial artist who just so happens to be able to have the ability to use qi to fly around or something. Yeah.
@PKMNB0Y Alright added some small changes and the backstory ^_^
Name: An Xing
Age: 24
Appearance:
Her usual getup for when she's in towns and when traveling or doing some trading. Very high quality clothing especially made to cause good impressions in other people's eyes. Perfect for doing business or simply have a nice time at a tea house.
This set of clothing is for only rare occasions and events. A memento from her mother, An Xing uses it when she’s performing for audience or when she has to attend official ceremonies. .
Abilities: Formless sword dance A martial art based around an ancient form of a sword dance practiced during some celebrations and holidays by small pockets of traveling groups of female entertainers. Since those ancient times, the martial art has evolved into a full fledged style, but few are allowed to learn it for it requires a talent for the sword and the flexibility to allow for the art’s gracious and nimble movements. Fast, unpredictable and deadly, those are the traits of those who practice this style.
Metal Qi body and flow. An Xing’s trained ability to manipulate the flow of her own Qi and infuse it into her body and sword, using her primary element’s traits to enchant her own body’s resistance to blows and her weapon’s sharpness and durability. As long as she holds a weapon, it will not be in need of sharpening.
Of rust and erosion. Given enough time, An Xing can infuse her Qi external metal items and turn the once sturdy metal into fragile substance that would crumble under even a simple pressure. Depending on the metal and the area in need of affecting, the time needed can greatly increase.
Spring after Fall Using her secondary element, An Xing has created her own little ability to quickly regenerate damage with forcing Aether Qi to her injured body parts. This takes away her ability to use any other type of Qi related ability while she’s doing it and tires her body. Best suited for use during meditation
The Siren song of coin. Being born into the family of merchants, An Xing learned the art of trade since a young age. She can haggle for prices, decide on the right values for items and overall act like one of the countless shrewd merchants out there, gaining maximum profits for her products and services.
Affinity (Primary/Secondary): Metal and Aether
Personality: An Xing is a very bright person, her smile is wide and charming, perfect for drawing in customers while at work as a merchant or to simply be nice towards her friends. She enjoys to haggle and to trade. An Xing also loves to discover new and interesting things such as foods, arts, weapons and so on. Everything as long as it’s something she has not seen it before. Thus she also has a habit of collecting small trinkets. Her favorite being a pair of two palm sized statuettes, depicting two dancing sisters.
History: An Xing was born in a very well off merchant family from the Kirin’s Realm. Her father was a prominent merchant and a martial artist since he was young. Her mother was a member of a traveling all female troupe of entertainers. The women were hired to attend and entertain a big feast at one of the bigger tea houses within the Realm.
An Xing’s father fell in love with her mother from first sight. At first it came as a rather shock and surprise to both his family and friends when he decided to marry a simple commoner woman, a dancer no less! Still in his family currently it was him who ran the business and made the money so no one could really oppose him. Following that on the very next year they married and 2 years later An Xing was born.
When she was about 5 years old, An Xing expressed interest to study martial arts. Her father was not that great of a fan of the idea though. While she married a commoner woman for love, he was also an extremely doting parent reaching almost to insanity levels. He would never allow his cute daughter to touch a weapon or to harm her skin! Luckily her mother was on the opposite opinion. As a long life practitioner of the Formless Sword Dance style, she had a long talk with her husband. Eventually 3 days later, after An Xing’s mother lost an arm and her father lost a leg in the ‘talks’, a decision was reached that An Xing would study martial arts.
In the following years, An Xing’s days were filled with studies for etiquette, economy, martial arts and other useful for a noblewoman skills. When An Xing was 18, her family faced a crisis once more. Her father wanted her to marry an old nobleman to secure his daughter’s future, whole her mother wanted her to join a traveling troupe and see the world.
Once more her parents decided to settle the problem on the field of battle. In the end An Xing’s decision was easy… she had to do whatever she decide from that point onwards because both her parents killed each other in their stupid duel. She joined the traveling troupe for a little while, before she left and started to travel the world as a merchant, searching for curios from all over.
Equipment: Blue fang- a one handed curved longsword. The metal on this blade appears to be blue due an incident during it’s forging where the smith’s assistant dropped some kind of chemical dust on the blade and the reaction with the heat of forge turned the blade blue. Otherwise nothing else is special about this sword.
Clothes- As depicted in the two pictures, depending on which she’s wearing at the moment.
Leather backpack- a big backpack made from sturdy leather, to allow her to carry safely all her trinket collection, the other items she sells, her spare set of clothing and her provisions. Other:
Well, if nobody else plans on putting forms forward, I'll get an OP up sometime tomorrow. It'll still be open, but new entries will just have to figure out how to integrate themselves.
So im planning on sorta doing a "sorcerer" character who is an alchemist good at very precise manipulation of qi to perform complex tasks while using very little raw power. Is it possible to have like "Inner Balance" Qi? also would Heaven allow me to impart limited intelligence to objects or something? so I can make swords that talk and stuff.
@Lucidnonsense: No granting objects any degree of either sentience or sapience without usage of more... Expensive methods. That, y'know, require a large degree of skill to pull off in the first place. So.

Darn, I wanted be a wise old man who lives in a floating boat or something...hrm...And I didnt necessarily mean sapience, more like...can perform basic tasks like a broom that can sweep or something. sapience would be like for very special occasions.
If that doesnt work, Might I be able to play a ninja-ish character? I would think dark would be the most fitting, but thats not available. So what do you think would be the best for "supernaturally good at not being spotted" Would heaven work? if heaven covers mental effects.
@Lucidnonsense: Light manipulation with either water or aether works, but tends more towards water because of refractive properties and all that jazz. Mental attacks... Well, recovery is aether-based, I guess.

Oh, sorry for asking so many questions, but would fog be more Air or water? also how metaphorical can my abilities be, if Im going with water Im thinking of having a Water based power "Droplet in the ocean" that allows blending in with crowds.

Fog is water.
And, uh... They can be pretty conceptual. Though, uh... An ability like that would be gated by things like crowd size or equipment or whatnot.
