I hope I'm not speaking out of turn, but a word of advice would be to follow the GM's guidelines. You asked about a bunch of cartoonesque powers back in the IntChk, and he told you they didn't fit the tone of his RP. But then you still applied with, as you call it, a 'weird power'. I would personally suspect that had something to do with his decision.
