Introduction
Greetings! And welcome to Star Wars: Darkness Rising. A Star Wars roleplay set on an alternative timeline to that of the Disney and Legends Canon. Both the Emperor and Vader are dead and the Death Star II has been destroyed. However, in their wake a much sinister being lurks. - Darth Tidus, a Sith lord that was frozen since the Jedi Civil War around 5000 BBY. He, along with his Ultra Star Destroyer - The Reaper - have reformed the Galactic Empire; rebranding it to what is now known as The Infinite Empire.
Rebel outposts have been destroyed and its very infrastructure has been crippled. Many systems have willing surrendered to the Infinite Empire. Those that did not were wiped out of existence.
You, as a character will be able to take on any role possible within this new story arc, whether that be a new recruit of the reformed Empire, a scattered member of the Rebellion looking to hurt the Empire wherever you can. Or maybe even your only allegiance is to the sum of credits that line your bank account. - Whatever the case, your fate has yet to be written in the tide of war.
Darth Tidus
Darth Tidus is a Sith Lord who operates very differently from most known lords. Firstly to the surprise of many, Darth Tidus does not revel in the death or suffering of those below him. But this is not to be taken as a sign of weakness as many a time he has cut down those that had stood in his way of success without a hint of remorse. After his debut, Tidus offered those in the Rebellion full immunity if they laid down their arms to the new Empire.
While there was thousands who thought this was some kind of trap, those who had agreed to Tidus's terms saw that this was no trick and they were allowed to continue their lives as they once had before. However, those that betrayed this agreement saw a terrible end not just of themselves, but to their entire family.
Tidus's overall goal seems unclear at present, however there have been whispers that he is searching for hidden temples throughout the galaxy, ones said to hold great power.
The Reaper
The Reaper is Tidus's personal warship. It is unknown how or when he originally came across such a massive ship, but the unique architecture and foundry systems bear very close resemblance to of the Star Forge built by the Rakata.
The armament is an endless list, however it's notable feature are the seven Kyber-Crystal 'planet-slicers'. These lasers hold similar design to the Death Star's main weapon, but are designed not to completely destroy a plant, but rather slice large sections off and be processed for the ship's many foundries.
