errm, mono-knives are all equally good. Size and shape really has nothing to do with it, and the bayonet can at least be stuck on a lasgun/thrown.

I can respect what the Colonel is trying to do... but I think he is going about it the wrong way. Then again, it's not like the Heiheim are going to be getting these knives so it doesn't really matter.

Personally I would have suggested some kind of regimental pattern on the guns/swords/weapon of choice.
