Cecilia wasn't going to give away anything about her plan yet, she wanting it to be a partial surprise. Additionally, she would also need to ask for permission to use the kitchen and didn't want to get both of their hopes up should she be refused access. She actually surprised herself over how she tugged at James. She didn't think of it at the time, but she could tell that she was feeling more and more at ease around him. Securing the harness around herself, she heard Neric speak, blushing a tad while looking away with her right hand to her cheek, her eyes turning to James. She wouldn't have put it exactly in those words, but she indeed felt very fortunate to have met him. She never felt this way before and wanted to do everything she could to make him happy for as long as they're together. After Neric receded into his wound, James asked if she was ready, to which she came back to the here and now, lowering her hand. "Oh? Y-Yeah, let's join the others," Cecilia answered warmly, following his lead to the crowd around the wall climb.

He smiles as she said yes, starting the walk with her back to the group to where they will be doing the climbing. Looking at her as he smiles, though not wanting to embarrass her or anything. So he would let her take his hand, knowing they haven't really held hands together in a crowd. But he would stick to her side, thinking as he speaks up to her. Turning his face to look upon her. "Would you wanna go first or would you rather me go first?" Him mostly asking to see if she wanted him to go first, when it was announced she seemed nervous. He didn't want her to go through it and make her feel uncomfortable, heck he is even nervous bu5 he'll be willing to go first for her. Though he does hope it's not a very high wall as he looke back ahead. "How high do you think they'll want us to climb? Hope it's not real high..."

Cecilia followed James, the crowd making her noticeably anxious, considering that potentially all of them were going to watch her climb. "Um, we're taking turns?" Cecilia wondered aloud, recalling that the counselors had asked who would like to go first, but chances were good that multiple campers at a time will be scaling the wall. Still, although she was very afraid to be the first, she knew that she would need to go sooner rather than later. "W-We may be able to go at the same time... Either way, I-I shouldn't delay for too long. I could go first..." she asserted, clearly nervously. She was already starting to get cold feet and as she looked down from his eyes to his hand, she reached out to it. If she was this anxious about the climb, what did she care if others saw her holding hands with him. "Th-They said that we're starting with the easy course and we only have to go as far as we can, so..." she added, a little rushed but smiling, hoping to reassure him in some way. She of course wouldn't object if James insisted on going first, confident that if either of them could get the hang of it, he could.

He would happily take her hand, smiling softly. He didn't care who saw them holding hands, really to him it showed he was happy about it. Not afraid of other's judgement. Though when she spoke, her words sounded nervous. James biting his lip a bit and looking ahead, thinking to himself on the situation. But soon would speak out as he looked to her with a smile. "Well hopefully we can go together, but if you want I can go first. I mean, I'm not nervous or scared." Trying to act brave, but his voice and tone betray him. Showing he is nervous about it, but wanting to try and act brave tor her. Squeezing her hand gently and affectionately, hoping him offering wasn't going to make her upset or anything. Last thing he wants is to make her feel like she is not courageous or anything like that.

Jack put on his gear with the help of several skeletal men, and raised his hand. "I'll go!"

The counselors nodded. The male counselor quickly scaled to the top of the first section. The first section was very easy. There were several hand and foot holds at various levels so no matter what size the climber was they should have no trouble getting to the top. The counselors were pretty sure that no one would have any trouble getting passed the first stage. The female counselor fastened a safety cable to Jack's harness.

Jack rubbed his hands together. "This is how it's done, so watch and learn people!" He backed up a bit, then ran and leaped as high as he could. For a single moment, he worried he would fall and embarrass himself. But as he felt a fake rock embrace his hands, he grinned. Once he was sure he was in the best position, he kept scurrying up the various handholds and footholds, and when he reached his hand for another area to grip, he saw he was at the top of the first section. He whooped and laughed. "That's how we do it where I'm from!" He shouted.

Cecilia was at least observant enough in a crowd to get a hint of James' own trepidation, but he was definitely doing a better job at dealing with it than she was. She looked down for a second, knowing that all her worrying wasn't helping either of them get through this; she needed to handle it better, like him. Also, it looked like they would be going one at a time, which didn't help sort out her butterflies in the least. She took a deep breath before continuing, taking no small amount of reassurance from his hand squeezing hers. "You can go first. I'm fine with it. It's just the beginning stage, so you'll be fine. I'll be rooting for you the whole way," she said, less visibly nervous. Really, she'd feel like more of a coward if he was going in her stead. But she'd get her chance soon, and a boy had already climbed the wall, making it look spectacularly effortless. When James moves to the wall, her hand would stay with his for a second before falling to her side. There wasn't a doubt in her mind he had this.

Val looked on as Jack made it to the top of the first section and grinned. It seemed easy enough and Val stood at the bottom staring up to the first platform. Taking a deep breath she starts to climb, each jug that she reached for and held onto, her grip tightened. It wasn't too long until she reached the first section and mentally gave herself a pat on the back

It was mid morning when the green haired mystery that was Carrie Vinceti arrived at Camp Castaway. She had walked along a dirt trail through the forest, following the signs that pointed towards the camp, and after a long, few hour long journey, she finally found herself in front of the large sign that signified the camps entrance. Carrie's minor victory caused her to smirk. But upon entering the camp, Carrie found no one. The cabins stood there deserted, and the grassy area seemed completely abandoned. "Hello?" she called to no one in particular, just hoping for a response. "Helloooooooooo?" But no one answered her shouts. Then she heard a voice. She could tell it wasn't in response to her calls, but finding whoever it was would be the first step to finding the counselors who ran this camp. So she began walking to the general area of the voice.

After walking for a minute, Carrie found something interesting. It wasn't the person she'd expect she'd find here, but it wasn't nothing: a set of smoldering footprints were leading into the forest. As she followed them, passing slightly singed plant life as she did, and soon came to realized that the footprints had no specific pattern. In fact, they were extremely chaotic. Carrie swore that she even went in a circle at one point. But soon enough, her persistence was awarded by the sight of a blonde girl, watching something that Carrie could not see, like a predator hunting prey. As Carrie approached the girl, the girl let out a random laugh, which caused Carrie to let out a little laugh herself, announcing her presence. Though she knew not what was funny, she laughed simply because she enjoyed the activity. "Excuse me, ma'am, could I trouble you with a few questions?" she said to the girl.

"Very good. We have two successfully climber. Who would like to go next?" The counselors asked.

Kyle studied the wall. The first level looked easy enough. He had never done anything like this. He never had time. He looked towards the firedt. No fires yet. Maybe it would be alright to relax just this once. He made his way to the counselor and let then hook him up. While she got him set up he studied all the possible paths.

Ivy shook her head. She raced to the new arrival. She bounced around the other girl. "HELLO! MY NAME IS IVY! WELCOME TO CAMP! I HAVE THE ABILITY TO CONTROL FIRE! I'M HERE WITH MY BROTHER! HE'S WITH THE OTHERS! THEY'RE CLIMBING ROCKS! WHAT'S YOUR POWER! HAVE YOU SEEN THE COUNSELORS! THEY'RE VERY ODD! BUT THEY'RE NICE! WE CAN SHOW YOU WHERE THEY ARE!" She moved constantly as she spoke. She was enjoying exploring the woodd.

"Shoot three people already, that was quick. Well I would like to go next if that is alright?" Watching Kyle as he looked at the wall, it didn't seem to bad. But then again that's what he can see from sight, may not be what it appears to be. Neric flowing out of his wound and changing into the raven on his shoulder. "You'll follow me up right?" The little Void nodding to relieve James a bit before flying over to Cecilia.

Quickly enough it would perch itself on her shoulder, getting comfortable as he ruffles his feathers. Looking to her as he spoke. "Mind if I sit here till James goes up?" Looking back at James who looked back at them for a moment before looking to the wall again. "This isn't so bad, much easier then the ice walls and stone we climbed back in the Cold War. Now that is a height that would terrify everyone here, no one could deny that and face it without nervousness.

"Not at all Neric. Go right ahead," Cecilia pleasantly said as the Void which flew from James to her shoulder settled in. She was so preoccupied with the activity on her mind, that she forgot to pet Neric for a second, getting right to it when he spoke up again, her hand stroking down his wings. "Really? I guess this wall doesn't look like much after something like that. Still, don't be afraid to help James up if he runs into trouble up there," Cecilia chuckled, very much joking, lightly scratching around his chin. Cecilia passively looked over to Kyle, who seems to be going up first, believing she should at least say something while she had the chance. "You can do it Kyle!" she called loud enough for him to hear her.

Lin's typical full-bodied laugh had more echo to it than usual. Frowning, she made sure Ivy was still about ten meters away before turning around casually. Her entire body froze as her eyes met those of a girl with green spiky hair standing on the path behind her. Whirling around to present a full front to the newcomer, she caught the other's voice. "...could I trouble you with a few questions?"

It was rather weird that they had been found this far from camp. Perhaps this person was a camper sent by the counselor twins? Whatever the case, Lin shrugged, glancing over her shoulder toward Ivy who was currently distracted by yet another caterpillar, this one inching its way slowly along a tree branch. "Just one moment!" Lin told the other girl apologetically, a slight half-smile on her face. She turned on her heel and jogged over to Ivy, pointing out the girl behind them and asked Ivy "This a friend of yours?"

All Lin got as a reply from Ivy was a shake of her head. The oldest girl's blonde mane of hair blew back as Ivy rushed over to the other girl for an apparently famous Ivy greeting. It was weird watching this process not happen to her. Lin felt a fleeting pang of jealousy. It's not like you're special, Lin. Everyone else probably thinks your power is lame, she chided herself mentally while following Ivy back to the other girl at a more sedate pace.

Lin raised a hand and greeted the third girl with a proper full-blown smile and a wave. "Hey! My name's Lin! You'll have to excuse my new friend's enthusiasm. She's REALLY a people person! Isn't that right, Ivy?" She tried patting the fire girl on the back, in the process attempting to extinguish a few embers that had sprung up in the center of Ivy's shirt. This was certainly not an easy feat considering Ivy's bouncing.

"Anyway," she looked back to the other girl. "You can ask your questions, but I literally just got here about forty-five minutes ago so I don't know how much help I'll be! Ivy and I were SUPPOSED to meet the rest of the campers down at the fire pit, but SOMEONE has been leading me on a merry nature walk for fifteen minutes!" Lin laughed, keeping her tone as jovial as possible.

Carrie stood in place for a short while as the blonde girl walked away from her and to a redhead, who Carrie immediately realized was the source of the smoking footprints, for the footprints stopped at her feet, as well as who the blonde had appeared to have been watching a few seconds earlier. They exchanged a few words, and then the ginger shook her head, before sprinting at Carrie. Carrie's hand shot to her jacket pocket, pulling out a deck of cards, already out of their case, and she entered a defensive stance. But when the girl started jumping around her, assaulting her only with a number of questions and nothing else, the green haired girl's lips turned up into a soft, toothy grin, and she put her cards back into her pocket.

"My my, aren't you a friendly one." she said, watching the girl, whose name Carrie now knew as Ivy, manically hopping around her. It was then that the blonde sauntered to the pair and introduced herself. Carrie responded with an elegant bow, one which seemed to contradict the raggedy clothes she wore. "It's lovely to meet the two of you. You may call me Cloak. Cloak N. Dagger." as she finished speaking, she stood back up straight and faced the blonde named Lin. "I was going to ask if you could tell me where I could find the people in charge of this...beautiful establishment, but it would appear as though your friend here is willing to show me." she proceeded to turn to Ivy. "Alright, lead the way."

Once the safety cable was secure, Kyle headed up the path he had chosen. He took his time. He wanted to make sure that he chose the path he chose was the right one. He knew that on this first stage it probably didn't matter. But it would matter in the higher stage. It took him longer then the other two but he didn't mjnd. Speed wasn't important to him. Eventually he reached the top. He was proud that he had been able to make it without any problems.

Ivy beamed. Now she had the attention of two people! It wasn't often that people asked for her advice. She wasn't the most reliable person. She bounced around the two girls excitedly. She knew where the camp was sort of. She was excited to have two people following her. "I'll try not to go too fast. I beat their at the next activity. So far the activities have been good. Except yesterday they went canoeing. I didn't go thought." She headed towards the camp.

Lin waited until she was certain Ivy was out of earshot before trying to catch the green-haired girl's eye. "Careful! She's uhh...easily distracted." Lin finally began to follow Ivy's path. "So? Cloak-and-dagger huh?" she eyed the girl skeptically. "I didn't know we needed code names." Thinking for a moment, she tapped her chin thoughtfully with a gloved hand. "Hmm, think of me as....you know? I'll have to get back to you on that!" she chuckled, eyes returning earthward to track the youngest girl's footfalls.

James would smile as Kyle reached the top, himself reqdy to go up. But waited for Kyle's turn. Cupping his hands over his mouth as he slightly shouts out. "Good job Kyle!" Chuckling softly, getting himself ready before heading up as well.

Neric would rather enjoy the scratching, almost not noticing James starting up as he shakes his head. Blinking before looking over. "Oh James! Flying off Cecilia's shoulder and bolting towards the boy, though he would collapse into his cloud form and smack against the wall. Forming into a type of lizard as he looks at James, crawling up the wall as James climbed. Though Neric easily does it, James is still human. But he still is climbing fairly well and quickly.

"Nice of you to join me buddy." James would chuckle as he climbs. The Void shaking his head a bit, but a little of the cloud would flow over the cable a good distance above James. Though it isn't doing anything, not tugging or pulling. Seems this Void is more or less protective if James slips. Though he doesn't as he nears the top, sighing softly as he looks at the Void with a smile. Tapping any bell up there if there is any before letting go to slowly be lowered down, though when he lets go the Void would grip the line for a second before realizing that he was going down. Letting go after and quickly diving back to the ground and forming into the cat.

Cecilia gazed at the wall, feeling more emboldened with each and every successful pass at it. James would be next to tackle it, and she wanted to let him know she was supporting him. So before he started his advance up the structure, she would call to him: "You got this. I know you can do it," she said with certainty, her hands clasped together as she watched his ascent closely. Much to her delight, James, along with Neric's oversight, handily made it to the top, then returning to terra firma in a matter of minutes. "I knew you could do it..." she'd say quietly, her attention drawing again to the wall, which looked taller from where she was standing while getting hooked up to the line. Now she had only herself to worry about, and after all the runs she'd seen by everyone, she'd wouldn't be satisfied unless she made it to the top herself.

Kyle, during his turn, seemed to study the wall, likely planning a course in his head. It certainly made for a sensible plan, so Cecilia decided to do the same, peering from hand-hold to hand-hold, all the way to the top. Elbow and knee pads where they should be. Helmet in order. Line was secured, even after the third time she checked. Soon she didn't have anything left to prolong her climb, and, after a deep breath or two, she began her own ascent. Soon forming a good rhythm, guiding her way with her hands and using her legs to lift herself upward. She may have had to remind herself more than once not to look down, but her pace was steady and with a surprised grasp of her hand, she had reached the top, taking a moment to admire the view (which sounded like a good idea at the time) before quietly being lowered down. She was both relieved that she had made it, and anxious to have her turn over with as soon as possible. After being unhooked from the line, she lingered a bit by the wall's base, calming herself down and breathing a little easier, at least for now.

James would smile to Neric, rubbing his head a bit as he looks to Cecilia with a smile. Hearing her words heading up was a nice boost to his confidence doing it all. Unhooking and letting the next person head up as he watched Cecilia head up to the wall, smiling widely as he called out to her like she did for him. "You can do this Cecilia. I know you can do it!" He couldn't help but feel really happy right now, looking down at Neric as the little Void rushed to the wall. Doing what it did for James and crawling up to the side of her, some of its cloud flowing over the cable. Though it wouldn't have any affect as James looked on, watching the two eagerly.

Neric wasn't tugging on her line or anything, mostly just there as a sense for her that he'll catch her if she loses her grip or footing. But once she reaches the top, he would chuckle softly as he looks to her. "Knew I didn't need to help you, you could handle yourself." The Void would say before he would watch her lower to the ground, heading for the ground himself. Smacking into the ground in his cloud before walking out as the cat again. Seeing James there waiting with a smile on his face, Neric looking back at Cecilia and walking off to the side for the two.

More or less James would have walked up to her, smiling as he speaks. "You made it look easier then I did." Chuckling softly before walking away from the wall, eagerly taking her hand if she wanted to.

Although she was running largely on adrenaline throughout her turn, Cecilia did appreciate James' vote of confidence. She didn't turn to him, too focused on the task at hand to work up a response. But it it felt good to know he was in her corner as well as knowing Neric was overseeing her progress from higher along the cable. Standing up on the wall, she made sure to nod appreciatively to the nebulous Void, out of breath largely because of how excited she was for making it and how eager she was to get back down, especially after she had looked down from the top (which was a mistake in her opinion). Making it down on ground level, she looked up at James, her composure returning to her and a smile growing on her face. "R-Really? C-Cause it felt a lot longer from where I was," she spoke lightly, still a little restless. "But you were really amazing too...! And Neric? Thanks for looking after us," She spoke out to the two before taking James' hand when he offered. She was greatly relieved, her expression being evident enough of that. But her hand shook a tad, it would be a few moments more until she'd settle down.
