During the intermission, Prof. Oak told Liam that after the fight, he wanted to talk to him, as well as Chuck and Shiranui.

During the intermission, Mike Rotomdex informed him that professor Kukui wanted him and Sashia to return to Aloha as he had two big surprises for them. Plus he also wanted as many island challenge Champions back as he could.

Shiranui returned to his side of the battlefield after the intermission was over and sent his Krookodile back out.

"Jolteon, use Pin Missile!" Chuck called out.

"Sunawani, use Earthquake!" Tesla's attack landed three hits on Sunawani and despite the attack being super effective, the damage was not enough to knock the Krookodile out. Sunawani sumo stomped the battlefield and sent a powerful tremor at Tesla.

[Azure Flame]

Tesla got hit and shaken up, but was able to stand her ground. "Double Kick!" Chuck called, as Tesla dashed forward and kicked at the Krookodile twice.

"Sunawani, counter with Crunch!" Sunawani fell over after Tesla's second kick and was down for the count.
"Krookodile is unable to battle! Jolteon is the winner!" the referee declared.
"You did well, Sunawani. Have a good rest. Titania, I choose you!" Shiranui recalled the fallen Krookodile and sent out his Gardevoir.

"Wild Charge!" Chuck called.

Titania was hit by the Wild Charge before she conjured a zone around the battlefield that made Tesla's high Speed a detriment. "Titania, Moonblast!" The Gardevoir fired a powerful blast of moonlight at Tesla.

[Azure Flame]

Slowed down now, Tesla couldn't avoid the hit and got knocked out. Chuck recalled her and sent out Tri the Dodrio. "Steel Wing!" Chuck called out.

"Thunderbolt!" The Trick Room was as problematic for Tri as it was for Tesla as Titania fired a bolt of electricity from her hands.

Tri got hit and struggled to get back up, unleashing another Steel Wing.

Tri's Steel Wing struck Titania for a critical hit, knocking the Gardevoir out.
"Gardevoir is unable to battle! Dodrio wins!" the referee ruled.
"Titania, have a good rest; Sapphire, I choose you!" Shiranui switched out his Gardevoir for his Sableye.

"Drill Peck!" Chuck called out.

"Power Gem!" Sapphire's eyes fired twin rays of light at Tri.

Tri got hit and was knocked out, forcing Chuck to sent out his final Pokémon, his Blastoise Zenni.

"Sapphire, start with Foul Play!" With Trick Room still in effect, Sapphire put her lower Speed to work and charged at Zenni.

Blastoise got hit, and retaliated with Hydro Pump.

Sapphire was inundated for major damage. "Sapphire, Thunder Punch!" The Sableye charged in again, this time with an electrified fist at the ready.

Zenni got hit and Chuck could tell he was in bad shape, so he activated his Mega Ring and Zenni Mega evolved into Mega Blastoise, firing off a Water Pulse.
