So I went ahead and made the OOC because why not let Howls's girl start her journey sooner? We're all going to be waiting any way until the game swings around to our characters, so why not. Those who were approved, which are the people mentioned in this damn message and whose names are written under "Approval" on the front page of this interest check...Yes, I have to be specific and explain this because there are people on this site who got issues and think they can drop a profile and automatically they're accepted. That's not how any game works. Not any game categorized as "Apply." You think it would be common sense, but I digress. Those "approved"/"accepted" and they know who they are, feel free to move your CSes over into the OOC and Howls can go ahead and get started. Howls and Gowi should start collaborating on a plot. Please read the IC to see what environment you are in, and whatever story you guys create off that, great.

As for you guys competing for Sloth, if you're still competing, if you make any edits to your profile...Actually, anytime you make edits to your profile that you want me to see, repost your CS because I'm not going to go looking for it. Repost your CS and @mention me. If you forget to do that, then I might forget to look back at this interest check, or I might, which is the most likely thing to happen: overlook your CS. It will happen unless you mention me. So far, I know that Rogue, Natsu, and Sloth have sent a CS either partially done or done. I haven't gotten anything from Jay yet.

With a mean face and a pair of dull blue eyes, Cassius constantly has the look about him of a disinterested teenage boy. His tussled blond hair never seems to be neat or anywhere resembling groomed. He weighs 55 Kilos, and on the rare occasion of him standing straight, you’ll measure him in at 5’7, but he’s almost always slouching, leaning against a wall, or sitting on the ground. He has a pair of Holy Knight crests that he wears at all times, though he's not sure why, as they were with him after he lost his memory. He wears a loose white shirt and an old pale green jacket that is absolutely never buttoned up under any circumstances.He dresses and lives for comfort whenever he can, never wanting to put unnecessary stress on himself. Though he looks to have a scrawny build and relaxed demeanor, he’s just as strong as any of the other sins.He has the symbol of a scruffy black and white tabby cat on the nape of his neck. There’s a small tear on its left ear, and it has big yellow eyes.

Though he definitely has what many would call a resting bitch face, he is one of the most relaxed and kindly people you’ll ever meet. His true flaw comes in his apathy, unless it’s in his own self-interest, he will rarely act for the benefit of those around him. Often, he’d rather steal and cheat to get what he wants than put in an honest effort. However, he will never lie or mistreat those who are close to him; once you’re in his circle, he won’t ever hurt you. He loves playing games, especially cards, and as such he always has a deck on him, with which he'll distract himself by playing solitaire when bored.Sarcasm is by far Cassius's favorite mode of communication, so he can come off as a bit of an asshole. He's quick witted and always gives off an air of mental superiority, making most people, and himself think that he's a few steps ahead of everybody, even when he isn't. He really enjoys finding himself in situations where he has to think his way out, though he's not arrogant enough to put himself in-between a rock and a hard place on purpose

In the most fitting fashion, Cassius found himself waking up in a field, basking in the warm sunlight outside a small city. After laying there for a while, raking his empty head in an attempt to figure out what the hell happened to him, he shrugged it off and decided that it would come in time. He made his way into the city, and found his home in the slums, where he could cheat and steal and lie to get whatever he wanted, finding himself to have a natural ability in the field. He doesn’t make much, but it’s enough for rent and food. He keeps a room in a rundown tavern, it’s not the best place in the world by any means, but it’s cozy, and good enough for him.

His ark is a pair of returning Chakrams, that have a golden inner circle, with three bars connecting in the midpoint, along with a black steel blade on the outside that can cut through almost anything. The inner rims have a set of runes inscribed upon them that can glow with a cackling energy. When thrown, electricity arks between them, shocking anybody that’s unfortunate enough to find themselves between them. When not in use, they’re mounted on his back, and magnetically connect. How did he get his arc, you wonder? So does he. Though he doesn't know it, Cassius managed to get his hands on his chakrams after a foolhardy noble child put up their parents sacred family heirloom as stakes for a bet he had no chance of winning. They're better in his hands anyway, but it's in his best interest for him to keep away from the family he cheated it from..

Cassius can fold the fabric of space time to allow for instantaneous travel to any location he can imagine in relation to his current one. In layman’s terms, he can teleport around. He can take people with him when he jumps from place to place if they’re in physical contact with him.

Written Appearance:
Although she's not as tall as the other women of the seven sins, Maria is still able to look down at a few people with her 5'8 build. She's one of the darker members of the seven sins, having an olive tone to her complexion; her thick hair is a simple dark brown, borderline black if not shined in the sunlight. Her eyes may be half open most of the time, but they appear to be a striking steel blue in full view. Her entire body seems to be visibly toned, especially her legs and arms. Maria's not too picky with her clothes – as long as she can move and not die in certain weather conditions, she isn't too bothered about how she looks. What she's always seen wearing are the metal bands on her biceps and her light grey cloak.

Brand Appearance:
On Maria's right bicep is a simplistic outline of a half opened eye. It's concealed by her arm band.

Personality:
Much like the sin she was branded with, Maria seems like a rather aloof and lazy person, and is a person who would rather nap under a clear summer sky than get into perilous conflicts (despite having a tendency to get into them with her attitude). She's always seen with this deadpan expression in most situations, and her slumped shoulders and half opened eyes don't exactly scream 'motivated; even her voice sounds very monotone and nonchalant, which has a tendency to actually bore people when she's bothered to keep up a conversation. Maria tends to speak in a very blunt and casual way, whoever it is to, though she can be quite oblivious to other people's feelings when speaking her mind; something she's prone to doing at any time. When irritated enough, Maria sends whoever is unfortunate enough to piss her off into a flurry of sarcastic and snarky comments. While she's not known to be the most lively of the seven sins, Maria is certainly bold enough to speak truthfully with a sharp tongue that isn't afraid to insult strangers. However, although she can act a bit cold towards strangers and even her closer friends at times, Maria isn't as bad as the Holy Knights claim her to be. Being all welcoming and kindhearted isn't something you see from her upon first meeting, but if you're tolerable enough then maybe she'll warm up a bit. It's even hinted that she has a soft spot (which, she tries to conceal most of the time) for the selfless and overly kind.

Current Story:
The first thing Maria had awoken to was the loud, bustling noises of the towns people. She saw that she had ended up in a dark, rather smelly alleyway which got her to immediately stand up upon realisation. While the thought of not being able to remember anything prior to her awakening was a bit haunting to Maria, she eventually came to the conclusion that worrying about it would only slow her down. She wandered from town to town, forest to forest, alleyway to alleyway, and has been doing so since. Somehow, she has been able to live on hunted animals from the forests and stolen food from the town markets. With barely any money to support herself, Maria continues to walk, resting and sleeping in whatever alleyway that seems clean enough.

Weapon:
'The Stick' is a weapon reminiscent of a Bō. It's surprisingly durable despite (supposedly) being just wood, but not as intimidating as some of the things Maria's peers carry. She often combines her ability with The Stick in combat. It was in Maria's possession when she had awoken, but her memory loss and uncreative mind resulted in her merely referring to her weapon as 'The Stick'.

Ability:
Echoing Wind - With a simple command, Maria can create swirls of wind around herself for defence, or towards enemies in attack, usually using her arms or her weapon to gain better control over them. The strength and size of these whirlwinds depends on Maria's current mental state. If she's emotionally stable, so are her whirlwinds; easy to control and able to sweep opponents off their feet and blow them metres away. If she's saddened or scared, the wind becomes weak and easy to counter. If she's angered, the wind becomes uncontrollable, destructive and unstoppable. Only she has the power to control her ability, and only she has the power to refrain herself from getting riled up and destroying everything in her path.

@Jay KaltonI haven't heard anything from Sloth all week, but regardless, your CS has won me. I haven't been purposefully picking female CSes this entire time. It is just the male CSes were never up to par with the female applications and I do not know why, but congratulations. You can go to the OOC that I still need to link on the front page (I posted the link a few posts ago) and post her in the Character Thread. Let me remind you that this game is different than others. The Girl is going to eventually meet all of the Sins IC, so there isn't immediate RP. So, in the meantime while you wait like everyone else, just get to know your peers and their characters in the OOC.

Appearance: Damian has several tattoos of various things across his back, inclueing but not limited to, a horseshoe, a pile of coins, an ace of spades card, a dollar sign, and a frog which he believes to be a symbol of good luck. There are several scars all over his chest which appear to be from torture of some sort. His eyes hold a sense of mirth behind them at almost all times, as if he was privy to a joke and you weren't.

Brand Appearance: Damian's brand takes the form of a fox head with one eye closed and the left ear has a chunk of it missing. The brand is over his heart.

Personality: Damian rarely takes anything seriously, even when being brutally beaten he has a smile on his face as if he's just waiting for lunch with a friend. He's terrible with money, to the point where he could blow a small fortune in the course of an afternoon on something like a lucky pot that was "Guaranteed to bring happiness to your future". Damian is a strong believer in luck and other superstitious things like Karma. He cruises through life without a care, taking extreme circumstances to get him to even frown, much less get angry or sad.

Current Story: Since Damian first awoke with no memories and nothing but the clothes on his back. There were also several bandits surrounding him, frisking him for anything valuable. When they noticed he was awake, one of them punched him in the face as hard as he could trying to knock him out again. Curiously enough he couldn't feel anything when he got punched and proceeded to grab a knife of the bandit's belt and stab him to death with it.

Apparently that was the bandit's leader and by killing him he had become their new leader. So he began venturing around the kingdom with them, stealing from the rich and subsequently giving to the poor by making poor purchasing decisions with villagers. Eventually the bandits abandoned him because they were losing more money than they were making.

Since then he's kinda just been wandering around helping people out to make up for whatever crime he's committed and looking for other people who have been branded as Sins, figuring they would know what crime he committed.

Weapon: Cheater's Blade: The Cheater's Blade was stolen from some noble who had been keeping it above his fireplace as a trophy, the 7th heist Damian had performed with his bandit troupe. It is a slim sword, most comparable to the sabers that nobles use.

The Cheater's Blade has the miraculous ability to cut through anything. Damian has to expend energy to make the sword to cut through things though, so he can still parry attacks and deflect projectiles without cutting through them.

Damian refuses to sell the Cheater's Blade, because he stole it on his 7th heist and 7 is the luckiest number.

Ability: Trophy Room: Damian can store anything he can carry in a pocket dimension, accessible only to him. He's stored mass amounts of armor and weapons in there, keeping it for future use or to sell for some extra cash. He's limited in what he can store, he can't store entire houses or even entire walls, but he can store things like weapons, furniture, etc. Others can access the trophy room if he links a door to the inside of it. The inside looks like an extremely large armory, filled with everything he's stored inside. Note that he can only store 2 Arcs inside it at a time due to their immense power.

All these “I’m going to reserve a slot for a Sin!” people are going to feel real awkward when the sin they are applying for has posted in the IC and established in-game continuity and thus difficult to retcon. Honestly, I really don’t understand the sentiment of lingering in the background when the actual player playing the slot is right there in the OOC active and participating. I imagine it’s pretty harrowing for the players who have that over their shoulder and I know if I was put in that situation I would not be too thrilled or amicable about it.
