Character Name: Lucas Rosati Title: Prince of Chains Character Age: 15 Character Gender: Cis-male Character Sexuality: Pansexual Nationality: (Originally) North American (Japanese now since his family's moved to the country.) Appearance:
Lucas is 168cm and weighs about 53kg, which is slightly on the spindly side for someone of his height. He favors dark pants or slacks coupled with dark cardigans over muted tartan-patterned button-ups with a lazily looped tie to "tie" the appearance together. He also likes bad puns. More on that later.
Light amber eyes, pale skin with the subtlest shade of cool pink undertones, and slightly messy platinum blonde hair give him a distinctive look that he enjoys playing up for maximum effect with his contrasting shades of clothing. With big, doe eyes, naturally pouty lips, and a slender face, Lucas is aware he looks better than the average girl, something he occasionally uses to his advantage for a quick discount here and there.
When transformed, Lucas sports a dark grey, steel mask behind which only his eyes are visible. His battle outfit is a black trenchcoat ("I'd call it a robe, personally") that reaches his ankles, with two parallel lines of white and red running straight up the front before the red line branches out in two paths across his collarbone, extends midway down his arms, and ends in a thick red band around his biceps ("I do have muscles, thank you"). The outfit finishes with white gloves, dark slacks, and black dress shoes ("What part of this is a combat outfit, again?").
Personality: Lucas likes bad puns, bland food, and incessantly clicking his pens. One of those guys. By simple negation, he hates clever people, strong food, and deafening silence. If he cannot amuse himself, the world must do it for him in the dumbest way possible. Lucas finds everything either boring or annoying, aspiring to be as close to every typical teenager's first-world problems as possible. From complaining about the two-degree deviation in preferred room temperature on the thermostat to whining about how long the next season of Crazy Ex-Girlfriend was taking to air, Lucas lives his life in shades of "I'm so boooooored" and "Auuuuugh." He's the kind of student who would show up to class for the last 15 minutes and wonder why the teacher's giving him a disapproving look ("What? I went to class, right? Isn't that enough?"). Not so much lazy as simply apathetic, Lucas is perfectly fine going through life achieving the bare minimum. His career goal is "anything that pays decently enough for a one-bedroom, one-bathroom apartment, electricity, water, food, and internet." Ambition is not his strong suit.
And yet, even the waste of oxygen that is Lucas can be motivated, though the risk-reward factor is fairly severe. Danger amps him up. The more dangerous the situation, the more excited he feels. Where crippling fear and panic would set in for others, Lucas feels only a reckless abandon that persists throughout the fight with a startling tenacity, which tends to lead to reckless endangerment of himself or others--or both. In combat, he's likely more of a liability than an advantage. Good cannon fodder, though.
Faction: Sun Prince
Magical Weapon: Spear-tipped chains that source from Lucas. At the start, Lucas can only summon two chains consistently, though the occasional three and four can burst from him in a panic. The chains have a long range and can move in any direction and pattern Lucas wills, making them versatile while losing one-hit-wonder capabilities unless Lucas strikes something vital. That's not to say the chains are weak as they'll easily cut through cement like butter, but compared to the pure stopping power of other Princes, Lucas is severely lacking.
Magical Abilities: Lucas is a crowd-controller, with magic exclusively tailored to ensnare his targets so his chains can home in for the killing blow. He can summon distortion fields that slow targets down or blind them in an impenetrable darkness (one or the other), smaller trap fields that can bind a target in place for a short period of time, and an attraction or repulsion field (one or the other) that pulls targets in or pushes them away--as effective or ineffective as a target is capable of rendering it. Lucas can choose which target(s) is/are affected by any given spell.
Setup 1: Cannot be used at the same time as Setup 3. A distortion field denoted by thick, shifting blue lines serrated and broken at random as they twitch and spin without rhyme or reason. This field is about 30 meters in diameter and "thickens" the air within it, in essence. Moving feels like wading through sand or sludge and physical spells/projectiles suffer the same effect. This field can either be a slow or a blind, but not both. In its alternate state, the field shrouds all targets within in a black miasma that blocks sound and sight and dampens tactile sensations. This field lasts as long as Lucas can manage it. Not long for now.
Setup 2: Can be used at the same time as Setup 1 or 3. A small trap field of the same design as the first spell, but only 3 meters in diameter. It can't be seen with the naked eye until triggered and simply binds the target's lower "body" in place, leaving the target free to retaliate if Lucas isn't quick enough to capitalize on the advantage. Bind duration is currently only 7 seconds, max. The trap can still be magically "sensed" in any way other than with normal human sight. Once set, the trap persists as long as Lucas keeps track of it. By default, Lucas can see his own traps.
Setup 3: Cannot be used at the same time as Setup 1. A similar field to Setup 1 with the same size and visual indicator. Visually indistinguishable until the effect applies. This field can forcefully drag targets in its area of effect towards the center or rudely expel them from the area of the field completely. How effective the field is relies on how unprepared the target is to resist the drag, though the effect persists if the target resists. This field also lasts as long as Lucas can manage it. Also not long for now.
Strengths:
Managing the tide of battle, supposedly, if he wasn't so busy trying to fight on the front lines all the time.
Underachieving.
Relatively fearless in dangerous situations.
Weaknesses:
Close-quarters combat, raw damage output, defensive capabilities.
Time/self management.
Relatively stupid in dangerous situations.
Biography: The only child of a completely normal, suburban family, Lucas breezed through life without really thinking about it. Everything just kind of worked itself out because he didn't quite care enough to demand anything better. He took to heart his dad's favorite phrase about wearing shoes instead of trying to cover the world in leather, so Lucas learned, from a very young age, to take everything in stride. And somewhere along the way, he just let everything pass him by, instead.
He kept casual friends at school and kept casual conversation at home, not really cultivating much of a personality besides the basics necessary to casually fit in with a bunch of students he casually cared about. Whatever he did form of his own identity was more a byproduct of simply existing than any conscious desire. If asked for the names of his old friends, Lucas would have to pull out his phone, scroll through his contacts list, and try to remember which names were friends and which names were the dentist, the doctor, the optometrist, and the long-distance girlfriend. By a miracle of foresight, Lucas had actually labeled his parents in his phone as "Mom" and "Dad," so there was no danger of forgetting there, especially since he had added footnotes to the contacts--"Mom" was "Emily the sappy" and "Dad" was "George the whipped." ("God, I'm brilliant.")
How his parents found so much tender joy in the small moments of life baffled him, and Lucas would often watch them at the dinner table, exchanging loving glances with each other while excitedly talking about their mundane days. Completely baffled. A "good morning" note from his dad on the dinner table would make his mom's day and her happy "Welcome home!" would do the same for his dad. Lucas sometimes felt no guilt for wishing something would happen for once. Anything.
And then something did. They moved to Japan along with a good portion of his dad's company when a lucrative market for their business opened up in one of Japan's bustling metropoles.
Craving the novelty, Lucas had been completely on board with the move, excited to finally do something other than live out the rest of his boring life. Except when the dust settled a year later, he was just doing more of the same, now with a setting swap. "I'm so boooooored," he would drawl to himself daily in his room, pillowing his head on unfinished homework and textbooks, unaware of the fate that awaited him there.
Jin has light pink hair and large, soft yellow-green eyes. Her mouth seems to always be in a perpetual pout. She has a smattering of freckles across the bridge of her nose and the tops of her shoulders. Standing at about 5'6" (170cm), Jin is as remarkably skinny as she is flat chested. Her clothing outside of school is of the dainty variety (cardigans, lace, frills, and flowery hair clips galore).

With long crimson pigtails and two glowing yellow irises, surrounded by black, Jinx's appearance is as striking as it is unsubtle. When she wishes to disguise her identity without transforming back into Jin, she can often be found with her hair tucked into the hood of a black and red cape/cloak [x] with silver wrap-around sunglasses [x] Jinx has no freckles and her upper canines are much sharper than usual.
ρεяsσηαℓιтү :
Jin is a shy, quiet, simple-minded girl. In spite of her timid exterior, she loves to be included and doesn't flinch whenever she finds herself in the limelight. She constantly craves amusement and is so overdue for an ADD diagnosis it's not even-- oh look, a penny! (What's a penny doing in Japan?)
Behind closed doors, one will find that Jin is a very hyper, impulsive girl with more energy than she knows what to do with. She also has a surprisingly dark sense of humor. She rarely voices her opinions and when she does, she is often quite vague and scatterbrained in describing why she feels the way she does. Talking about feelings flusters her to no end-- as do most things. Her life as an orphan in the crappy Japanese institutions trained her to keep these less desirable attributes under wraps for the most part.
Jin also happens to be successfully failing nearly every subject in school and, when addressed about this issue, tends to completely zone out.
Jin's personality when she transforms into Jinx is completely different. She is loud, talkative, and embraces her dark humor with immense enthusiasm. She is entirely without restraint. Talking about emotions or anything relatively deep still makes her feel very uncomfortable. While an uncomfortable Jin might stammer and blush, however, an uncomfortable Jinx can and will do anything within her power to get you to shut up. She is ignorant to the extent of the pain she inflicts and yet all too aware of her desire to inflict it. Fun is her only goal.

Leo is currently only the size of a Great Dane. Being a familiar, however, he has the potential to be even more mighty and massive than he was during the Jurassic age. Unlike this stupid inaccurate photo here, he is entirely black with glowing yellow eyes to match Jinx. He is also able to swim through the air as if he was in water. However, the best part about Leo, if you were to ask Jinx, is that she can store an endless amount of stuff inside him-- she need only reach her arm down his throat, think of what she wants and VOILA! She has procured whatever it is she wanted that was stored in there. And it has a nonspecific amount of drool on it.

Baka looks like a regular cat. Baka is boring and stupid and never listens. Baka will try to attack your face and if you slice or kill him, he will turn into two smaller Bakas and so on and so forth. When Baka is bored, Baka likes to tear up origami cranes and rip open teddy bears so he can lay inside them. Jinx hates Baka. He is an evil cat. If she could kill him, she would.

The fuel for Jinx's abilities stems from the frustration she feels because she is unable to connect with or rely on people, understand anything that's going on in school, or be free enough to be herself and have fun in less non-conventional ways. See Biography.
נιηxтσρια
Jinx erects a bubble-like force field around herself and whoever is within a 15ft radius. Everything within the bubble (including herself) is frozen in time and space. Those affected are mentally trapped in a land of Jinx's own creation. There are only three ways to escape.
The first is to realize that what you are seeing is not real. The moment your mind makes this connection, you are thrown out of the bubble (not enough to seriously injure anyone-- just enough to force you out and off your feet).
The second way to escape is to die in Jinxtopia. With these first two methods, if you were the only person (besides Jinx) inside Jinxtopia, the force field disperses. Everyone trapped within the bubble must escape in order for the spell to be completely broken. Otherwise, you will have to resort to method number three.
The third and final way is for an outside force with IMMENSE strength to shatter Jinx's force field. Of course, this method runs the risk of injuring whoever is inside, but it is the most effective way to ensure everyone is freed and the spell is broken.
The main flaw in Jinxtopia (for now) is that it always looks the same. Thus, every Prince who has ever gone up against this spell is practically immune to it. Spreading the word about what the world looks like could also work-- so long as the other person isn't stupid enough to forget.

A peck and the last half an hour is a blur. A smooch and you don't remember what you ate for breakfast or who dressed you. A full on make out session and you might suddenly find yourself with a 3rd grade education.
By kissing the lips of another, Jinx can cause temporary amnesia. The effects wear off between seconds, minutes, and hours depending on how long the kiss lasted.
"үσυ'яε ғιяε∂!"
Jinx can throw dark purple balls of fire. Depending on her state of mind (i.e. how frustrated/enraged she is), the balls can range from the size of a gumball to the size of a washing machine. With focus, she can create a steady stream of fire, but the intensity also relies on her mental state. The fire stream also tends to take a second to charge, so it isn't as useful to her during combat as it could be.
sтяεηgтнs :
Artistic/Creative, VERY Energetic, fast (for a witch)
Jin is many things-- and many more things in her day dreams. The thing that she is most sure about herself being, however, is a "stupid orphan". She also knows that she is at least half Japanese, though this fun fact is only known because her mother bothered to fill out the "Ditch-Your-6-Month-Old" form before crashing her stolen car into a tree on her way to the airport. Jin doesn't hate her mother, however. If she did, she might be an even stronger witch. But she simply doesn't have the capacity.
Growing up in one of the many institutions around Japan was about what you would expect for a somewhat pretty girl who was as ignorant as she was innocent. She endured abuse from caregivers and elder children alike, but could never process exactly what was wrong with what was happening. Frustration. The list of things she couldn't understand had grown and didn't show any signs of stopping. Homework and feelings and changes in her body-- with no parents or friends to talk to, she suffered in silence. She wished it would all just go away. She wished she could burn this world around her-- reduce it to ashes-- and create a new world entirely of her own.
Until she discovered her powers a month ago, origami, finger paints, collecting stickers and cutting pictures out of magazines helped distract her from the frustration. It wasn't fun, but it was all she had. Since discovering her powers, Jin has rapidly accepted her role as a Chaos Witch. Finally, she has the power to eradicate all the things that irritate her. Finally she has the power to make life simple-- to make life fun.
Jin was recently discovered by her Aunt and Uncle, who live in Tanzaku City and happen to be fabulously wealthy. Well... wealthy enough to adopt Jin and buy her a wardrobe of clothes that don't have holes or mystery stains. Perpetually unsure of whether or not she likes her Aunt and Uncle, Jin is at least happy to no longer be confined within the institution's walls. She's freer than ever and ready to spread some Chaos.
Character Name: Salve Jumani Title: Prince of Naivety Character Age: 17 Character Gender: Male Nationality: Italian
Personality: Salve is extremely close with his friends, placing an enormous amount of trust in them. Walking one foot before the other he performs his duties in pride and isn't afraid to show off in attempts to impress the princes he looks up to. Coming from a foreign country many of the sights and customs are odd to him, yet he tries his best to fit in, learning new things in the process. He can often rush in without thinking about his own safety placing the lives of others before his own, getting himself into needless trouble. Despite being reasonably athletic, his short height gives him a disadvantage in actual combat but increases his abilities to dodge and escape. Despite his duties, Salve dislikes fighting, he especially dislikes fighting other princes he knows. Regardless of his feelings, he'll follow orders as best he can as a sign that he's hardworking and can be trusted.
Salve tries to get the most out of life and enjoys participating in many club activities, for example the track team, swim team and gymnastics team, very rarely he'll join the theater club. Not as a member but he just enjoys watching them practice. Being very loud and friendly he gets along with mostly everyone but can often shy away from meeting new people if he hasn't met them before or doesn't have anybody to cheer some moral support. Generally after school he will ether do club activities or head to the beach for a swim or to do some fishing. Normally Salve dislikes anything that requires patience but the thought of catching a massive Yellow-Tail, or something strange like an Octopus excites him. Salve lives away from his family and can often feel lonely very easy without the comfort of people around him and will attempt to be around others as long as possible. Salve enjoys doing many things with company rather than alone.
He enjoys many forms of confectionery alongside, Pork Ramen and Egg on Rice. His favorite snacks being Taiyaki and Takoyaki. If possible, Salve would eat an entire stand out of all their stock and then their reserve stocks. Oddly, when called something like 'kiddo' or 'buddy' Salve can't help but blush in embarrassment even though he really enjoys being called such names. He dislikes the thought of people wasting food and hates seeing people argue or fight. When facing something shocking or frightful, Salve will immediately shield his eyes with his hands, but his innate curiosity will creep in, forcing him to peek.
The thought of being a hero and friend to anybody and everybody drives his desire to fight shadows, using this desire, Salve brings out his inner strengths and abilities. There's not much he enjoys more than helping his allies fight the darkness. Despite spending time with them and winning their approval.

Faction: Sun Prince Magical Weapon
Dual Water Pistols: Two cobalt water pistols that appear to be no more than childish toys you can find anyway. On the left side of both pistol is a small button that when pressed changes the ammunition used, in this case, it creates magic bubbles. Similarly on the right side there is another button, but it currently seems to do nothing. The weapons work as of they were regular guns and bullets but require magic as their source of ammunition. Shooting a person with a single bullet might not hurt a lot, but like a mighty typhoon a raging mass of rain could bring down buildings. The bullets hot off are of high concentrated water magic and will shatter on impact, but Salve can reduce their power in order to make them more stable and sturdy, reflecting off surfaces and ricocheting into targets.
By melding the two water pistols together Salve can create a larger water gun that's more effective in power but can't change ammunition nor shoot as fast as the pistols can. After some time the gun will revert to the two small pistols unless Salve recharges the time with magic.
Magical Abilities All Range Mode: Salve shoots out six aqua targets that can each be shot twice. When a bullet passes through it transforms into a strengthened bullet that takes the form of a sea creature which homes into enemies. After each target has been used, they form together creating a large aqua explosion.
Furufuru Bubbles: Changing the ammunition in his water pistols allows them to form a torrent of bubbles that can spray over allies healing most of their pain. The bubbles can also act as a simple barrier or soft surface. They are easily busted by attacks.
Please Help Me My Long Armed Friend!: Creating a large water portal, Salve summons several tentacles from a beast that lurks in the depths of the ocean. The tentacles can have a mind of their own and will often strike, trap or pull enemies under. After awhile the portal will close and the tentacles will slither back into the darkness.
Salve is predominately a long range fighter but dabbles in the area of support because of his nature. Because of this he is very vulnerable at close range, he has great speed and dodging abilities but if he's caught he will be in for a bad time. In addition he has bad crucial judgement, meaning he'll rush in without thinking unless he has somebody ordering him to do something. Even though he has a range of abilities, he can't use them all for a very long time. With hard work and training he can improve the length and power of his attacks
Biography: Nothing was completely out of the ordinary. Things were pretty normal in his Italian house. Salve grew up in family of twelve including his parents. Having nine older brothers could be hard, especially when he was the baby of the bunch. They would fight, tease each other, create small wars inside the house and take turns trying to 'eliminate' each other. (Salve was also killed off first because he was the youngest) Despite their bickering the entirely family often looked out for and supported each other.
Each one of his elder brothers was born with a special talent that they excelled in. His eldest brother was an Italian model and had a every booming career as he was sculpted by the gods themselves. His second eldest brother was scientist that performed geological experiments with mountain formations, all for the sake of insane science. Even his fifth eldest brother was an accomplished local doctor that was well known for his humble personality and kinda attitude during casual checkups. The only person without a talent in the bunch at the time was Salve. His parents were sure he had one, they just didn't know what it was, nor could they figure it out. Whilst Salve was good at many things, he was never excelling beyond the abilities he displayed.
This was of course until 'they' showed up. Foreign men in suits that came for to see Salve. It was then planned that he would be moving to Japan, alone. None of his family wanted to go with him. They thought it was good that Salve was finally going places but none of his brothers could afford to give up what they had now just because he was moving away. Even his parents were against moving with him. They were getting close to retirement and moving to a new nation didn't seem appealing to them. his family saw him off, all eleven of them. They said their goodbyes and hugged each other for at least an hour. But then he left. Salve often writes to his family and sometimes gets a reply from everyone and even a small care-package filled with baked goods.
Age: 16 Character Gender: Cis-male Nationality: American, originally from Seattle, Washington. Appearance:
Alexander stands only 152 cm tall and weighs 58kg. Proud of his emerald eyes, Alexander matches his entire wardrobe around them. He loves wearing dress clothes in purple and red and black deunless his favorite fashion magazine says another color is in style. He even dyes his naturally blond hair black to highlight his eyes.
In his transformed state, Alexander dons a purple suit and black cape. Stepping into his familiar magician role, he can be found in the air on a card or vanishing between rooftops with a confident smirk.
Alexander is the mischievous spirit. He loves pulling harmless pranks, mostly jump scares, making things disappear, and seeming to appear out of thin air. Though he’ll never get tired of the old water bucket trick. Classic.
Outside of pranking, Alexander runs rather than walks. Jittering after five seconds of sitting, his attention span only exists for things he’s currently interested in. He picks up fads and tires of them before most even discover them. He’s constantly on the lookout for new fashions and loves trying new crazy foods.
Having overcome suicidal self-doubt, Alexander cheers up those around him. He tries to believe the best in people, even if it has gotten him in some unfortunate situations, and always tries to lend a hand. His inclination to treat everyone equally nice leaves some with a sense of distance but he really does just want everyone to have fun.
Under the effects of transformation, he changes. The Prince of Tricks aggressively seeks out ways to irritate sun princes, absolutely loathing their obsession with hunting. He gains an appreciation for and the ability to ballroom dance, especially the waltz, and window shops for well-tailored suits when possible. He calculates and schemes, willing to provoke sun princes into battle if it means keeping his comrades safe. He always tries to keep an ace up his sleeve, even if it’s a sun prince, to handle any nasty surprises that wander his way.
Moon Prince
Glowing rose pink and razor sharp, these cards fly in a straight line when thrown and detonate with a snap of his fingers. On command, they anchor in space until broken or returned and expand into a 5’ by 3’ barrier though he often uses them as platforms. In this form, the cards lose their sharp edges. Once the deck is depleted, it replenishes itself in his suit pocket.
-Pulling out the Rabbit: Alexander reaches into his hat and pulls either a prince he can see or is bonded to out of his hat while leaving a pink card that briefly sings “Happy Birthday!” before detonating. The father away the target, the more magic it uses.
-Telepathy: Unable to speak, the Prince of Tricks projects his voice directly into the mind of others he sees. Using a little magic, he can tether up to four other princes to his mind and act as a telepathic hub. This bond functions as long as Alexander remains on the same plane, physically or mentally, and is conscious. If either of these conditions are violated, there is a sharp mental feedback before the connection drops. If another prince in the link violates one of these conditions, the connection vanishes.
-Vanishing Act: Alexander tosses his hat up and vanishes into as a shapeless black smoke before the hats explodes into pink confetti. He reappears anywhere within eye sight, is familiar with, or near a prince he is bonded to. The further the destination, the more magic this ability consumes
-52 Card Pick Up: Alexander let’s all his cards fly. This ability comes in two forms:
House of Cards: Alexander consumes all his magic as he whirls a full deck around his opponents in a 15ft radius and imprisons them as every card expands. The sealed prison lasts for one minute. The cards constantly regenerate if damaged but if broken, the house detonates. Alexander can do this manually thought he magic drain immediately ends his transformation.
Final Curtain: Alexander scatters his cards to every prince within the same distortion field as himself and traps them in the cards. Every prince in the cards is held in the same extra-dimensional space with their powers suppressed. With a snap, he calls them into his hat before vanishing himself. During this, Alexander experiences every emotion the other princes feel currently, overloading his senses. The hat deposits them at a safe location a mile away before depositing Alexander home who promptly falls unconscious as he sorts out and removes the emotional input of those he trapped.
Alexander watches from the shadows and skies, altering the tide of battle in the Princes’ favor as he moves and guards his allies in the thick of battle while streamlining communication with his team. Between understanding his lackluster combat ability and an aggressive dislike for sun princes, Alexander’s main focus is keeping his team alive so doesn’t hesitate to find an unorthodox solution to any problem. If it involves goading a sun prince, he always tries to block their finishing moves to give the credit to the Moon faction. He actively avoids the main fray like a plague. The less movement required the better. It is easier to keep an eye on the fight when you aren’t being hounded after all!
It was a car crash that did it. At the age of two, his mother and her boyfriend decided to take a family trip- at two in the morning after twelve shots of vodka each- and loaded her three year old son into the car before taking off at breakneck speed. Five minutes and a house later, the man died instantly, his mother lost her right arm, and seven shards of glass and metal embedded into the child's face and neck. Although the boy lived, the multiple surgeries couldn't save his voice. Heavy scarring covered his neck but as he grew older, they faded.
Afterwards, his mother struggled. Although she avoided jail and managed to keep him despite child endangerment charges, she lost her job and had to find a way to finish school. Alexander matured quickly and learned how to cook and clean at a young age. In order to keep him in a special school, pay bills, and keep herself in school, his mother worked two jobs and sometimes picked up the odd one under the table here and there.
She never kept the truth from him. She apologized frequently and tried to pamper him even with the stressful life she lived. Alexander never resented her. He didn’t die and she was doing her best to make it up to him. After his suicide attempt in fifth grade and seeing the pain it caused her, he bucked up and confronted his depression head on. Although it still rears its head periodically, Alexander mostly stays truly happy.
He discovered card tricks rather in middle school. They were easy and fun and it made people pay attention to him. He mastered easy ones like the elevator card and the fold quickly and moved on to magic tricks past cards. Optical illusions and sleight of hand found his attention next and he discovered the only hobby to hold his interest longer than a week. He picked up every book, read every article, and listened to every podcast on stage magic and two years later he would perform magic tricks at every school talent show or stage competition. It was how he met his first boyfriend. They planned and played every show together for the six months they were a pair.
Just as he entered high school at age 14, his Mom graduated and landed a job as a Japanese translator in Japan, forcing them to relocate without so much of a good bye to many of his friends. He had sulked for a solid six months before finding a new arena for his shows and realizing there was an entire fashion culture he didn't know about. He perked up, forced himself to learn JSL, and decided to enjoy life. His mother suffered enough guilt as it was. He still wrote to his old friends sometime but in became less and less frequent as time moved on.
Now at age 16, he enjoys strolling through the inner city gardens, practicing magic tricks, drinking copious amounts of coffee, and being a Cosmic Prince apparently. The only downside was losing his telepathy after transforming back but that was survivable. The magic was fun, the telepathy amazing, and even hunting shadows with others was nice. What more could a boy ask for?
Character Name: Mitsuru Sazanami Title: Prince of Smoke Character Age: 16 Character Gender: Non-binary (They/them pronouns) Nationality: Japanese Appearance: Androgynous. Slim, frail frame. Vacant-looking eyes. 175cm and 54kg. Noticeably pale. When transformed, their hair turns into a glowing yellow, Super Saiyan style. Their cloak is constantly billowing behind them like smoke, whether their ability is activated or not.
Personality: Mitsuru expertly wears the façade of a well-adjusted teenager. They’re polite, confident, knows when to crack a joke, is a consistently excellent student, and is pretty good-looking to top it all off. Teachers see their elegance and attitude as befitting of a future Student Council President, while adoring fangirls (and fanboys) see them as “princely”. Mitsuru commands attention and respect with ease, making them seem like an excellent leader-type person. Mitsuru is pretty good at socialising and making light conversation. Being a straight A student, their hardworking nature and natural intelligence is something to brag about. But they’ve never really been the type to show off. They do however, have occasional ditzy moments, such as ineptitude in sport and general clumsiness. Most people dismiss them as endearing traits. Very few people know that these moments are due to their illness. In reality, Mitsuru is quite cynical and irritable, the latter due to their illness’ symptoms. However it would be a stretch to call them pessimist. Because of the mindset they were forced to grow up with and the recent magical developments in their life, Mitsuru is unsure of how to go on from this point in time. They have latched themselves to the ideal of a ‘hero’, choosing to portray themselves as a noble warrior of justice during their Cosmic Prince duties. Although they approach their new role with enthusiasm and gratitude, their preoccupation with what they should be doing, rather than what they want to, is quite rigid. A side effect of this trait is that they treat the Sun Princes with disdain and view them as selfish scum, mostly because they are unable to comprehend the nonchalance and freedom that the Sun Princes possess. More worryingly, this attitude has instilled in Mitsuru a martyrdom complex. Mitsuru is not afraid of death but they can’t exactly be deemed suicidal either. They know to exercise restraint when throwing themself into the thick of battle but if the odds are too low and the stakes are too high, Mitsuru will gladly give their life. This would be an incredibly virtuous trait if it were done with an actual purpose. Mitsuru lived for four years with the knowledge that they would die before they reached the age of twenty. Now with magic erasing most symptoms of their illness, they have yet to adapt from their previous mindset and acceptance of fate. This martyrdom is possibly an unconscious manifestation of this, a way to return things to the way they were before.
Faction: Moon Prince Magical Weapon: A curved double bladed staff that stands slightly taller than its wielder. Mitsuru’s staff is a formidable close-ranged weapon that possesses an impressive amount of attack power. A common attack used with this weapon is to rush a horde of enemies and essentially clothesline them while racing past. The staff can also turn into a bow at times, shooting magical energy projectiles. However, Mitsuru rarely ever uses this function and is nowhere as skilled with it as they are with its staff form.
Magical Abilities:
Shadow Stalk – Mitsuru can turn any part of their body to a dark cloud of smoke. In smoke form, Mitsuru’s mobility and speed is greatly increased. They can scale buildings and pass through small gaps. Inanimate objects can pass through the cloud without injuring Mitsuru. They can also pick up objects that weigh less than a large dictionary. However, they are unable to attack in this form. There are a few weaknesses to this ability. Mitsuru is extremely vulnerable to electricity. They are unable to pass through electrical panels, telephone wires, and plugged in appliances because of this. Mitsuru's smoke form can also be harmed by magical projectiles. If the smoke form sustains damage, they forcibly revert back to human form. It is possible for an exceptionally strong gust of wind to blow Mitsuru off course in this form. It is unknown what would happen if Mitsuru reverted back into human form while their smoke form is separated, e.g. trapped in separate jars. Teleport – In their smoke form, Mitsuru can teleport to any spot in their line of sight within a range of 35 metres. However, this ability is extremely taxing, so Mitsuru can only use this around two times per night for now.
Strengths: Speed/mobility, offense, tactics, keeping cool under pressure. Weaknesses: Lacking in defence (sturdiness), weak in beliefs (susceptible to being swayed or corrupted), fatalistic, vulnerable to electricity in smoke form.
Biography: Mitsuru was born and raised in Tanzaku City, the second child to a middle-to-upper class family. They were an obedient child, hardworking and smart. Their family was kind, financially stable, well liked within the community. Mitsuru’s sister, Honoka, played with them often and was as talented as Mitsuru was predicted to be. At the age of 12 they were diagnosed with Lou Gehrig’s disease, or ALS. The doctors told the Sazanami family that Mitsuru would be lucky if they lived to age 20. Bucketloads of medicine were consumed to offset the symptoms but as time went on, Mitsuru’s condition only got irreparably worse. They would wake up every morning in a great deal of pain and surprised to be awake at all. They had to enter a restricted diet. Physical activity became almost impossible unless they had the whole day to prepare for it, and even then they were in pain. Worst of all were the mood swings, the sudden lapses between laughter and crying, the sheer inability of it all. Mitsuru’s body was a torturous prison. Despite it all, Mitsuru wasn’t a complainer. They contained all their sadness, all their frustration and hatred within themselves. They never let their family see the devastating emotional effects it had on their youngest child. Mitsuru begged their parents to keep it a secret within their family and to let them attend school like any normal kid. They wouldn’t have been able to bear the piteous looks from their peers. The ones they received from their family were hurtful enough. All this would seem to be an attitude that was far too relaxed, coming from a not-even teenager faced with their mortality. And it really was. Mitsuru had always been a reasonable, well-behaved kid. So with an uncanny amount of calm, they had accepted it on the drive back from the doctor’s office that day. They were going to die. No amount of tears or anger was going to change it. Although there was a sea of rage under that unnerving façade of acceptance, Mitsuru never let show how distraught they were. They continued living in greyscale, depression. They learned to live with it. They were fine. Then they received their powers. All at once, the physical symptoms of their ALS disappeared. For the most part, the mental symptoms did too, though it is uncertain if they have left completely. Mitsuru tentatively started living normally again, unsure of what to do now that their fate had been erased. For now, they would fulfil their duty as a Cosmic Prince.

Battle Theme
Transformation Theme
Character Name: Timothy "Tim" Gaudete Title: Prince of Space Character Age: 15 Character Gender: Male Nationality: American (Italian-descent)
✨ ☾ Appearance ★ ✨
Colors and general appearance:
Tim's hair is naturally a darker shade of brown and hangs about his face. When he is a Puer, his hair lightens to a pinkish-red and some strands defy gravity to upward. His eyes, no matter which form, are a bright brown. The boy seems younger than he is thanks to being around 5' feet and weighing in around 100 pounds. His demeanor does not help.
His magical outfit calls to mind a dark blue knight's tunic with black trim, although the hem of the coat extends down to form triangular tips around his hips. The armor gauntlets, boots, and pauldrons are of a light material while the cape attached to the pauldrons is a deep dark shade of red. The barely visible pants are colored light cream.
Outside of school he favors short-sleeve shirts and khakis or t-shirts with images of outer space or astronauts and a pair of jeans.
✨ ☾ Personality ★ ✨
Tim's disposition would suit a Solar Prince. Bright, sunny, and enamored with games. While he is eager to help keep the city safe from the evil monsters as any hero should, where a Sun Prince focuses on the bagging the toughest Shadows, Tim tries to beat his "high score" (or rather the number of Shadows he's taken out each night). While many times the high score is the focus in this and other cases it is merely the icing on the cake.
At school he is the first to blurt out answers no matter if they are correct. Tim tries to make friends with everyone he meets and will happily chatter about about latest Wild West movie he saw. Curiously, when it comes to recess he slinks off to an out-of-the-way section of the playground to toss a basketball against the wall.
In battle Tim wants to get right up in the Shadows' faces with the other Princes and is thus rather disappointed that his magic and weapons force him to keep his distance to be effective. The fact that he could die doing this hasn't fully clicked yet. He's either ignoring the possibility or is blissfully ignorant of it. Considering how the Moon Princes had to explain things to him more than once, it is likely the first.
✨ ☾ Weapons and Magic ★ ✨
Magical Weapon: Lunar Gun
Base form: Weak moonlight-energy 'bullets'. Can be used all night long. Can transform into other types of guns. Tommy form: Similar 'bullets' as Base form but rapid-fire and requires recharge after each set of 100. Rifle form: Long-distance but needs careful aim. Rocket form: Potent, explosive blast, but limited use (only once or twice). Heavy to hold and due to Tim's slight build could be accidentally dismissed.
Magical Abilities: On the Rise Creates the illusion of the sun. If it is closer to sunset, this gives the visual effect of the sky rewinding. If it is closer to sunrise then fast-forward. If it is around the middle of the night, the moon gains a golden light and the sky seems to bleed dawn. This spell is easiest to cast during twilight for obvious reasons. This has the added effect of changing his Lunar Gun into a Solar Gun. The weapon is stronger but the base form now has a limit of 100 bullets and the other forms are halved in number. If any Lunar alt-forms were expended, they gain about 10% of their bullets back or in the case of the rocket launcher just one. When "On the Rise" ends, the number of leftover bullets carries over save for the base gun.
Cold of Space / Solar Flare Can summon (in progression in magic cost) ice shards/pebbles, large chunks of ice, ice-coated rocks, or icy boulders. If "On the Rise" is in use, this effect changes to embers, fireballs, fire 'rain', and even rivers of magma.
Strengths: Energetic, eager to help, speedy little thing. Weaknesses: A bit dumb and naive. Easily pushed around (as in physically).
✨ ☾ Biography ★ ✨
Living in a household of two older sisters and their mother made life interesting and more than a bit awkward at times. Their father had passed away when he was very young. The family ended up moving to Tanzaku City when the mother was given an offer from work for another branch. As a small child Tim was often babied and his oldest sister took malicious pleasure in tricking him into playing dress-up. This wouldn't had been so bad if the clothes weren't from the girls' costume box and their mother didn't take photos of the results.
Life for Tim was otherwise decent enough. Lacking a father figure he looks up to Spaghetti-Western and other 'cool' film heroes, trying to model his behavior on them and generally failing completely. But something about the leads seemed to resonate with him. It wasn't the occasional loner attitude, and it sure wasn't the fact that they sometimes had to shoot people, but it was the fact that they always saved the day.
Character Name: Ivan Dorovich Title: Prince of the Sun Character Age: 15 Character Gender: Male Nationality: Russian Appearance (and theme): When not transformed, he dresses in an average suit with a hat and his hair is shorter.
Personality: Ivan wants nothing more than glory. He packs his actions with flair and flamboyance, aiming to outshine even the sun. Anyone who has met him would summarize him with the word "showy". However, Ivan doesn't want this glory for himself - instead, he attributes all his glory to his homeland, the great Mother Russia.
Faction: Sun Prince Magical Weapon: Ivan wields a brilliant bow that shoots arrows made of magical light. This light bursts upon impact, resulting in a firework-style effect and fire- or light-based magic damage in addition to the explosive physical blast.
Magical Abilities: Light Trickery: Ivan can manipulate light to produce illusions, illuminate dark areas, or even remove light from an area. The effect is reduced the further out of sight the target is, similar to the way light can shine around corners at a reduced vibrance.
Noble Steed: Ivan's trusty dog Makar transforms with him, becoming a mammoth covered in glorious golden armor. Makar is capable of providing Ivan with a mighty solar lance should the situation necessitate it; otherwise, he attacks with his golden tusks.
Solar Beam: Ivan's signature Magical Boy finisher attack. Ivan uses magical light to create multiple foci (AKA lenses) that magnify natural light into a single deadly beam. This laser cannot be formed on naturally cloudy days, though magical clouds and darkness have no effect.
Strengths: Ivan is best when fighting at range, on Makar's back or not. He is also incredibly nimble, even for a Prince - after all, it was his agility that earned his status as a Prince. Weaknesses: Ivan's power significantly falls when forced into a close-range battle, or when an ally is too close to the target to avoid friendly fire. Despite having training in the use of Makar's solar lance, Ivan remains fairly unskilled with it in combat. Ivan also falls behind the other princes in brute strength.
Biography: Thousands of years ago, the Cosmic Princes were founded. Using both his power and his personal charisma, The Prince of the Sun worked to found Russia. By way of actions probably too graphic to describe on this public forum, The Prince of the Sun ended up being a part of the family tree of all true Russians. Thus, the legend of the Prince of the Sun became known to all Russians.
The Prince of the Sun, wanting to have a strong successor, laid out plans for a tournament to determine prospective successors. Participants would be tested in many areas deemed important to The Prince of the Sun's fighting style to make sure that the most likely to be his reincarnation would be chosen. The top contestants would then be given intense training out of the world's sight, preparing them for their fight against the hidden evils of the world.
So it was for thousands of years that The Prince of the Sun was trained in secret by the Russian people. Whether by design or by sheer happenstance, The Prince of the Sun always reincarnated as a Russian boy. In the present day, school P.E. incorporates training for the tournament into the basic curriculum, regardless of whether the position is open. The government keeps the real meaning behind the tournament under wraps, but it has become so ingrained into culture that none think to question it. You wouldn't question drying your hands after washing them, after all.
Ivan enters the story in the present day, two years after the demise of the previous Prince of the Sun. Ivan performed well in all the tournament events due to his outstanding agility, landing him among the top contestants and earning him long and rigorous training. Ivan gained his powers toward the end of training, at which point he swore to glorify Russia in all his acts as Prince of the Sun.
Presently, Ivan is in Japan investigating reports of Chaos Witch activity that had begun affecting the eastern cities of Russia.
Kim is somewhat of a celebrity at Yagami High, partly due to the interesting way his magic influences others even when not transformed, but also due to his conventionally attractive appearance. Kim is slightly taller than average and possesses a lean build that is suggestive of someone who partakes in regular physical activity. He has a light complexion with sharp, angular features that give his face an appealing maturity. His eyes are a light brown and he sports short, spiky red hair that is very clearly styled to look as though he doesn't spend an hour every morning on it. When not in his school attire, Kim is usually seen wearing very casual clothing; usually a simple t-shirt and jeans. He wears his uniform very sloppily, leaving the shirt tucked out and the first two top buttons undone with his tie loosely hanging down to his waist.
Cosmic Prince Appearance
When transformed, the most noticeable difference in Kim's physical appearance is his fringe changing color from red to blonde. He also seems to gain the heavenly scent of roses. His outfit transforms into a very regal white Captain's uniform with matching pants, red innards and gold trimmings. A large star brooch is placed on the left side of his chest. To accompany this he also wears white gloves and red knee high boots.
"I just want to see him one more time. I want to apologise for not being strong enough."

Personality
Kim is a very energetic and playful young man. Easy to befriend and approachable with a kind smile, Kim is quite a popular person among the student body. Yet despite this, the young man has a very strange and alienating habit of pushing away almost everybody. He is not a fan of making connections, much preferring to keep everyone at an arms length. There is a very sad person hiding inside this young man; one who would much prefer to not be apart of the world anymore.
Kim can often be found disassociating in class or out during the break when he thinks no one is looking. He usually chalks these incidents up to him just being a space case and laughs it off. Despite his cheery disposition, Kim is actually quite shy and dislikes talking about his feelings. He thinks that they're a burden to other people, preferring to shoulder everything on his own.
While Kim used to be what many would consider to be your typical Sun Prince; arrogant, reckless and bloodthirsty, his attitude in battle has changed drastically. Kim puts more effort into protecting his fellow Princes from danger, which usually causes them to think he doesn't trust them to be able to fight for themselves. Kim cherishes the bonds he has with the other Princes, considering their safety to be much more important than the fight against Shadows. He likes to take a lot of solo missions, thinking that excluding the others will lesson the risk of them getting hurt.
Kim's heart is filled with pain over the one person he failed to protect. He constantly blames himself for that and has a very unhealthy habit of trying to shoulder everyone's burdens.
Blooming Rose is the Prince of Roses' sacred weapon. The longsword is incredibly light to wield and is very durable, though not indestructible. Kim is able to summon multiple swords at once and manipulate them telepathically; though the more swords he controls the less focus he has on the individual blades.
Magical Abilities
Red Pheromone | Kim has a heightened perception of Shadows and is able to detect them where another Prince may not be able to. Inversely, this causes Shadows to be drawn to him much more so than other Princes. Additionally, Kim's magic effects the way humans perceive him even when not transformed. He releases a very subtle magical pheromone naturally, which very subtly attracts others to him. Princes and Witches are immune to this effect.
The Royal Garden | Kim has the ability to create and manipulate Magical Roses. He is able to summon various parts of a rose for different effects. He can summon hundreds of razor sharp petals that he is able swarm opponents with, thorny vines to be used as a method of transportation or ensnaring enemies, or even throw out Magical Rosebuds that release a heavenly scent when bloomed that can temporarily numb shadows.
Scarlet Kiss | Can only be used on Shadows. Kim blows a kiss at his target, sending a wave of magical petals flying at them. If it connects, Kim is able to bring the afflicted Shadow to his side temporarily. Drains magic the longer the control is established, with a larger drain based on how strong the Shadow is. Currently Scarlet Kiss is only capable of briefly stunning Familiars and has no effect on Witches. When the effect ends, the petals surrounding the target explode violently.
Rule of Rose | The signature move of the Rose Prince. Currently Kim is unable to use it. It's exact effects are unknown, but it is told in old legends of the previous Princes of Rose that the Rule of Rose allowed them to completely bypass and control the magic of a Witch temporarily. This allowed them to render a single spell completely useless, though at a large cost. Almost entirely draining them of Magic, a Prince's Life Force, the Princes who used the Rule of Rose would often fall into a deep sleep for an indeterminable amount of time. Some of them never woke up.
Strengths
Kim is a melee oriented fighter that is more suited to holding the front line against multiple shadows. His attacks are predominantly area of effect based with an emphasis on control. He possesses quite a lot of stamina and endurance, even beyond that of a regular Prince to help keep him in the front lines longer. Paired with a more supportive ally, Kim is able to excel in battle.
Weaknesses
Kim suffers in direct duels, his skill set being much more oriented for mowing down waves of Shadows effortlessly. In a fight against a coordinated opponent, he might struggle to keep up as he is not the most agile Prince. While he is quite good at enduring, he lacks the power to finish off tougher opponents; relying on his back line to deal the killing blow while he keeps them distracted.

Biography
Kim was born in Vietnam with his father and mother, but his parents quickly realised after having him that their marriage was not going to work out. They divorced, and Kim went with his mother back to her home country Japan. He he would grow up in Tanzaku City as an only child with occasional visits from his dad. Eventually these visits grew scarce, and it became clear to Kim's mother that even though he was quite young he was still suffering from the divorce. Kim was not interested in socialising in pre-school, which was definitely a concern for his teachers. While he excelled at any physical activity, he just seemed disinterested with everything else. He wasn't as playful with his mother anymore at home, preferring to be alone.
Things would eventually get better when Kim's mother married into a foreign man who was visiting Japan on business. Mai had fallen in love with a man named Jack McKnight, welcoming him and his young son Drew into her family. Now with a little brother yapping at his heels wherever he went, Kim had no choice but to learn to be social. He grew up with Drew, doing everything you'd expect young brothers to do together. When they were about ten, Kim's Step-Father began to teach Kim and Drew boxing. Jack used to work as an amateur boxer back in his home country of Australia and thought the exercise would be a good outlet for Kim and Drew as well as a fun form of exercise. Kim took to the sport quite well and would even go on to join his High School team later.
In his first year of High School, Kim was approached by older kids who told him that he was a Cosmic Prince. Excited and confused by the news, Kim's doubts were quickly washed away the first time he transformed into the Prince of Roses. With all new powers, Kim eagerly joined the hunt. There he would grow extremely close to a boy named Naoto Nanase, the Prince of Winter. The two spent every moment at school together, and then would fight shadows afterwards side by side. They became infamous as a strong duo, which would eventually go to their heads.
Two years later, the boys continued to grow in strength and ability. Naoto's ego as a Sun Prince inflated to new levels, which eventually lead to him accepting a dare from a Moon Prince when he and Kim were trying to stir them up one night. The Dare was for Naoto and Kim to go and fight the Witch Beatrice. If the two of them could beat Beatrice, then that would prove to the Moon Princes that the Sun Princes were more powerful. Without a care in the world, the two boys accepted the challenge and faced Beatrice alone. They failed.
Kim had never faced a Witch before, but he suspected that Beatrice was on a completely different level to other Witches. He had never felt such a malicious presence in his life. It shook him to the core and turned his blood to ice. Her demonic stare was enough to paralyse the young boy in fear. Taking advantage of his fear, Beatrice lunged forward to deliver the final blow to Kim. He had closed his eyes and braced for the impact, but felt nothing. When he opened his eyes, he saw Naoto in front of him. He wasn't moving. After a few moments, Naoto's transformation disappeared and his body fell limp in front of Kim.
Distraught and terrified by the death of his closest friend, Kim collapsed to the floor in tears as Beatrice readied another strike. Yet before she could eliminate Kim as well, the Moon Princes showed up to the scene. Horrified at what they saw and feeling guilty for being inadvertently responsible, they came to Kim's aid and fought against Beatrice. Despite their best efforts, they were unable to slay her. Beatrice was definitely an experienced Witch; one who had been allowed to grow in power for years. They were able to scare her off enough so that they could remove Kim from the scene.
After Naoto's death, or 'kidnapping' as the news called it since the Prince's made sure to remove all trace of the body to avoid raising suspicion in the city, Kim had changed. He had seemingly reverted back to the way he was as a child; cold, distant and unwilling to socialise. He stopped showing up to boxing club, instead preferring to spend his time watching the Drama club that Naoto was once a part of. Kim continues to fulfill his duty as a Prince, though he is much more serious about it now. He tends to be very overprotective of the other Princes and has started to question the amount of enthusiasm the Sun Princes take in the hunt. The fact that they don't seem to recognise the risk feels like an insult to Naoto's memory to him.
Character Name: William "Billy" Bianchi Title: Prince of Dragons Character Age: 17 Character Gender: Male Nationality: Italian American Appearance:
Personality: William on the surface is a quiet, calm, and collective individual. With anti-social tendencies alongside a quiet, passive-aggressive and sarcastic persona. He prefers to be by himself then to seek out company, though isn't outright against such an idea, it is difficult for him to actually consider someone a friend. Easily annoyed by other individuals its hard for him to even tolerate the annoyances of others. Beneath this demeanor though, is an angry and raging beast, which is expressed accurately in his transformation. Surprisingly, he enjoys the concept of fighting, seeing it fit that as a Prince he 'hunts the shadows' like an apex predator, a mentality that seems to blur the lines between a fervent warrior and a savage monster, William's inner demons are perhaps just as monstrous as the shadows he fights.
Faction: Sun Prince
Magical Weapon: His enchanting spear he nicknamed wyrmtooth, is a less destructive method of offensive. Favoring more nimble, accurate, and focused tactics, his combat with this enchanted weapon is to switch between using it like a martial-arts pole, and a sword-like spear consistently. Should be noted that he cannot wield this weapon in his full transformation.
Magical Abilities: Dracomancy, as he calls it, the evocation of dragons. he can temporary transform various parts of his body to become more attune with such a monster, such as growing a reptilian tail or pair of wings. As a static trait he cannot be burned by any degree of heat (though explosive forces and other non-heat related damage from fire attacks are still effective against him).
-Growing a pair of wings, grants flight. -Growing iron-like reptilian scales over his skin, granting an incredible physical durability and overall strength/weight though hinders his mobility somewhat. -Transforming his hands and/or feet into claws, granting both incredible strength and sharp utility aside from his weapon. -Transforming his hand into the head of a fire-breathing dragon, which in addition to having a nasty bite can breath either a jet of intense flames or a ball of explosive fire.
His full on transformation makes him into a dragon. This grants him an iron-like durability (except for the soft underbelly), being able to breathe flames or cause flames to flow from his scales, flight, immense strength though he isn't as fast and essentially becomes a bigger target, not ideal for smaller, more nimble threats. It is a form more suited to fight other monsters and otherwise less agile targets.
-Can evoke a bolt of lightning from his hand that can take the shape of a serpentine dragon, partially homes into targets -Can roar to create an AoE blast of force around him up to 3 meters, 6 meters if wings are active.
Strengths: While he is just as quick and nimble in his non dragon state as any other prince, his strength can be boosted to a far higher level. The variety of his full and sub-form as well as its options can allow a versatile strategy against both monstrous foes and more nimble enemies alike. Being unable to burn it is a bit more difficult for heat-based users to fight him. Weaknesses: He is vulnerable to ice and other cold-based attacks. Additionally he is very prideful and can often make mistakes based on poor judgement, whether it be underestimating an opponent or overestimating his own abilities. Despite his versatile combat he overall is very reckless, which can also lead to punishment in combat should he fail a committed attack. Furthermore he definitely isn't a team player. He prefers to fight on a sort of duel basis and would rather sit out of a fight then fight alongside someone else.
Biography: Growing up in South Philly as a highschooler, despite is anti social nature he was a part of the 'popular' crowd, namely with a group of bullies that would go around and do the typical verbal and sometimes physical abuse, pranks, and other mischievous acts juvenile delinquents do. While he wasn't the most expressive of bullying, exposure to this by his friends are likely in part to where he gets his rather violent nature from. Often at times he would be the 'cool rebellious' type smoking a cigarette to impress the cheer leaders and having the typical teenage angst and fake mysterious persona that helped him stay within the popular crowd. Though he acts like a tough kid, and will certainly join in on antagonizing other students, he wasn't proud of his actions. Even now, he has some regrets, like punching a small ginger's nose till he broke it. In a way, he sees his powers and responsibility as sort of 'retribution' for those that he hurt. As such, he has somewhat of a zeal to his cause of slaying witches and shadows.
Character Name: Iksander Zeva Title: Prince of Valor Character Age: 17 Character Gender: Cis-male Nationality: American of Greek descent Appearance:
Personality: See that guy, standing in the back with a bemused smirk on his face? That's Iksander Zeva, the oddly charismatic bundle of trouble. At first glance, he appears to be lackadaisical, and...well, it wouldn't be far off, as far as his civilian form goes. As a civvie, he's easily the type of person whose name brings certain images of discomfort and doom, and let's not forget the trademark phrase of "It's more fun this way." There's no doubt that Iksander is a daredevil and a junkie for things that can either interest him or challenge him, and that isn't likely to change anytime soon. For whatever reason, people still tend to follow his suggestions. Even he questions why at times.
At least, that's what he'd like for you to believe.
Thrill-seeking mentality and laid back attitude aside, Iksander is the type that makes an effort not to get too attached to the people around him. It's easy enough for him to socialize and play the part of a lazy high school kid, and easier still to play the part well, but a background of loss has never been the best way to nurture a personality that's eager to make fast friends. His active distancing, however, makes him highly protective of the few that manage to worm their way into his heart. Lay so much as a finger on the few that he cares for, and he will strike you down with the force of a storm.
Faction: Moon Prince Magical Weapon: Chivalry - A spear that stores power over the course of a battle. In terms of durability, Chivalry is beyond any typical spear, but it's still prone to breaking in intense battle. Fortunately, it can repair itself given enough time--the longest that Iksander has had to wait was 4 hours. Chivalry's primary ability is the ability to gather energy the longer it's used in battle and release it in bursts that can be used to increase its force on impact. It cannot store energy once broken, and releases all residual energy in a blast if broken before being drained.
Honor - A small, simple mace that can be wielded with one hand. Much like Chivalry, Honor can amplify its force on impact, but not to the same level as Chivalry as it cannot store energy. Honor is significantly weaker than Chivalry, but easier to wield in tight spots where a spear is too unwieldy. Between Honor and Chivalry, the former is Iksander's weapon of choice, though he'd prefer a gun over all else.
Magical Abilities: Morality - The base of Iksander's strength overall is his moral compass. His abilities grow stronger so long as he believes his actions are just. Should he see his actions as immoral, Iksander's ability as a Prince weaken considerably--sometimes even to the point where he becomes useless in a fight.
Heaven's Sword - Iksander's primary method of attack. He can conjure magical blades (appear as condensed light) that can be launched at a target. They grow weaker the further they travel from him, dissipating completely at no more than four meters from Iksander's starting position. He can also have them stay in place if necessary, though keeping them conjured can be draining. Regardless of whether they are launched or kept in place, they burst about half a second after impact. The number of blades that Iksander can conjure largely depends on where his moral compass is pointing, though he can average at four.
Oath of Fealty - Much like a traditional knight, Iksander's strength is at its greatest when fighting under the banner of his lord. Unfortunately for the Prince of Valor, he can only swear his loyalty to one person. Making use of the oath boosts Iksander's strength to levels far greater than he would normally be capable of, but only when working under the wishes of his chosen lord. Conversely, should he raise arms against his lord, his abilities might as well not exist--oh, and the pain that accompanies breaking his oath would likely prevent him from being useful.
Strengths: In straight combat, Iksander is tough to match primarily because of his unpredictable nature. Coupling this with his natural athletic ability, it wouldn't be hard to believe that Iksander is made for reckless fighting.
Weaknesses: Despite being quite combat-oriented, Iksander doesn't like his weapons much. He's better off fighting at a range thanks to his hobbies, but his weaponry is largely...well, it's not useful at a range. Furthermore, his personality and behavior tends to put him at odds when fighting in a team. Not that he's disgruntled and difficult to get along with, he's just a wild card that nobody wants to do guesswork with.
Biography: Prior to his life as a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Cosmic prince, Iksander was a bit on the strange side--and by strange, one should take that as "prone to doing weird things and then having people follow him for reasons nobody is aware of." Iksander was, by and far, the slacker that drew attention solely because he was on the hunt for thrills and interest. Perhaps that was why he rarely put effort into his studies, frequently blowing off the monotony and ease because it failed to present a challenge to him. Perhaps that was why nobody knew what to make of him--unpredictable, reckless, and seemingly fickle. The only predictable part about the boy was that he would stop at nothing if it meant taking care of his makeshift family. It was common knowledge that he and his sister lived with their aunt and grandmother for reasons he kept to himself, but it was blatant that he would do anything to protect the status quo of the place he called home. They were, despite their eccentricities, a happy family.
Ah, but all good things come to an end far too soon.
Iksander was fourteen when his aunt disappeared. She simply walked out for work one day and never returned. Rumors had spread, of course, for it was such a sudden shock in the monotony of daily living. She was tired of being the breadwinner, tired of of taking care of children that weren't hers. Tired of being a single woman burdened with more than she could handle. It was all Iksander could do to protect his sister from hearing the worst of them, but with each passing whisper, it was harder to deny the flicker of doubt in the back of his mind. With such thoughts plaguing his dreams, it was only natural for him to cling to the concept of Cosmic Princes when an older boy sought him out, and he had the only reaction he could fathom: absolute devotion to his newfound duties.
How deep he plunged into the hunt out of desperation to believe that the world at large had taken his aunt away. It was easier to believe than the rumors that filled his ears like cotton each day, less painful to consider than the idea that it was his fault. So he told himself every day as a Cosmic Prince that the Witches and Shadows were at fault for the despair that he couldn't fend off. Every day so that he might begin to believe it.
Character Name: Srebrenka Zeva Witch Name: Asimi Character Age: 17 Character Gender: Cis-Female Nationality: American of Greek descent Appearance:
Personality: Srebrenka is her own worst critic. Cruel and critical on her failures and frequently doing a number on her own self-esteem despite not having much reason to. She fakes it until she makes it when in public, but suffers from less-than-fantastic development emotionally. The girl struggles to make meaningful connections with others and can develop irrational attachments that border on dependency to those that she's exposed to for long enough periods of time. Thanks to this, Srebrenka can be struck with loneliness while surrounded by her peers and typically feels a sense of anxiety revolving around the opinions of others.
Despite her self-perceived shortcomings, Srebrenka is perceptive and far more intelligent than her typical demeanor would imply. For all that her family treats her like a fragile doll, the girl doesn't have the bright-eyed optimism that one might expect. Rather, she takes in knowledge, and without a guiding hand, allows it to churn in her mind until it twists to fit her own helpless views. Feelings of inadequacy and a deep-rooted fear of rejection have plagued and shaped Srebrenka into the less-than-strapping young woman she is today, digging her claws in deep for any semblance of control.
At least she's got a smile that could trick poker masters.
Familiars:
Soma is a grumpy type of fellow. Though typically the size of a German Shepherd, Soma can grow to the size of an exceptionally large dog on his own abilities. He's easily the most intelligent of Srebrenka's familiars and the overall leader of the trio. Despite this, the canine rarely, if ever, leaves the girl's side unless ordered or provoked. He can be imbued with Srebrenka's blood to increase his size.
Small for a sphinx, but cunning like her base. Though physically the weakest of Srebrenka's familiars, she's quick and perceptive, and capable of spitting small amounts of fire. She tends to be independent and rarely listens to orders, and frequently goes off on her own without warning. Amaroq can be imbued with blood to increase the strength of her fire.
If raw power is what Srebrenka needs, Gilbert is the one to go to. He can swim through the air like water and cuts through water like a knife. Though a bit belligerent, the kelpie tends to act protectively over his fellow familiars...but he's pretty violent once riled up. Much like Srebrenka's other familiars, he can be imbued with blood to increase his raw strength.
Magical Weapons: Empress's Scythe - Is it considered a magical weapon if it's fake and likely to be a self-induced crutch for her more powerful abilities? Because that is literally all that the "scythe" (it's made out of crafting foam and plastic) is. The scythe was formerly a part of a Halloween costume she made with her family. Honestly, the only thing magical about it might be that she actively has to make it grow to a proper size. She can swing it around and such, but it's easy to break (and repair. She's broken it while playing before).
Magical Abilities: Spell Crafting - In particular, spells of wind and ice. Crafting a spell requires a handful of steps, the first of which being to obtain a medium to evoke magic from and the second being an incantation. While the words of the incantation aren't important, they act as a catalyst to focus the more chaotic energies gathered through her magic. Her spell crafting is limited to the generation and molding of wind and ice and typically uses mediums that Srebrenka has formed an attachment to (for example, a blanket or a teddy bear from her childhood).
Blood Buff - Most of Srebrenka's abilities gain strength through the use of her blood. Though she doesn't need open wounds to implement blood into her abilities, she still loses the blood. Using her blood provides a drug-like euphoria that can be addicting, especially for someone like Srebrenka. She does feel the effects of blood loss when she uses her blood to increase her abilities frequently in a short time.
Spell Crystallization - The utility belt of magic, as Srebrenka refers to it. By using her blood, Srebrenka can craft spells to be crystallized and stored for later. In their physical form, spells can be activated with shorter incantations than on-the-spot crafting. However, without an adequate amount of blood, crystallized spells are less effective. Furthermore, they're less stable and if hit with enough force, can violently release stored magical energy, and are easier to disrupt, dispel, or redirect prior to activation thanks to their physical form.
Emotion Consumption - Much like spells can be crystallized, Srebrenka can solidify emotions if the concentration of desirable ones are high enough. Consuming them can restore stamina or relieve pain like a drug, though they do not heal Srebrenka's wounds. Unfortunately for Srebrenka, solidified emotions don't have a long shelf life, so to speak, and fade away after about two hours, so stockpiling isn't an option. She can only solidify negative emotions such as loneliness or self-loathing.
Strengths: Srebrenka is a quick learner and possesses fairly high muscle memory potential. Her real strengths lie in strategies and tactics over straight combat thanks to the fairly utility of her abilities.
Weaknesses: As someone that's spent very little time in athletics, Srebrenka has little to no combat experience. In addition to this, her stamina isn't exactly off the charts. Furthermore, her self-critical personality tends to get her into her own head, which often results in crippled judgment.
Biography: Srebrenka grew up with her brother constantly trying to protect her from the world, and she never understood why. Unlike her brother, who learned through experience, Srebrenka picked up her cues from the world through keen perception. It was that perception that drove her to the ground, for she always found something wrong with everything she did. There was always something that she could improve on, and her mind amplified each failure to perform like a high-powered microscope. Watching her brother succeed with seemingly little effort only pushed her harder, and knowing he did everything to protect her bore at her heart until it threatened to break under the pressure.
When their aunt disappeared, Srebrenka was quick to notice how everyone around her changed, and quicker still to see how easily control slipped through her fingers. After all, she'd always struggled with mediating her emotions, and with so much pressure added to her, the girl couldn't do anything but grasp at straws for the sweet release of control. All she had wanted was stability, and so she turned to the presence that had always been by her side.
But he wasn't there.
Her brother had changed, just like the others around her, and it led to a storm of emotions that Srebrenka could not control. In the three years since their aunt's disappearance, the single constant in Srebrenka's life had drifted away. More nights where he came back at first light, if he came back at all. Perhaps she never needed his protection, but his presence had meant everything to the girl...and it's high time that the storm be allowed to break free from its tranquil vessel. All it needs is a little push.
When out of his transformation Tsuki tends to wear comfy sweaters with his school uniform of a dress shirt and tie underneath. He often wears Khaki pants or his schools pants. Tsuki is fond of wearing his school shoes but to keep them from wearing too much he has an old pair of loafers that he wears.
When transformed his outfit is pure white with a sapphire blue trim. The back of each coat tail has a large sapphire blue button on the bottom. His vest is sapphire blue as well as his tie and shoe laces. His hair goes from a black to a silvery-white and his eyes are a deep blue. Atop his head lays a silvet small crown with 4 small points each containing a sapphire.
Tsuki is a very kind hearted person. He focuses much of his time conducting music for the schools musical concerts and practices. He enjoys the fluidity of music and how it ebs and flows on ones heart and soul as the moon does the tides. He is very soft spoken and shy, almost never being social unless to conduct. He keeps to himself and enjoys his invisibilty to most students. Tsuki dislikes those who have and abuse power such as jocks and bullies tend to do.
Magical Weapon▪:
Mūn Hoyo is an elegant conductors baton with sapphire jewels embedded on it. It's special properties include its ability to create, control and weaponize water around itself in the form of a sword of ice, whip of water, or bow and arrows comprised as both. Tsuki found Mūn sitting on his bed one day after he had come home from school. It was incased in a sleek white box made in the same fashion a grand white piano would be made.
Magical Abilities:
Capriccio: With a quick spirited flick of Mūn two pools of water appear beneath his feet swirling, awaiting their directional command. Once he attempts to move in a direction the whirlpools become jets that quickly move Tsuki to his desired location allowing for quick combat maneuverability.
Dissonance: Unlike his other motions, Dissonance is a harsh and unharmonius whisk of Mūn almost as if Tsuki feels unvonfident about the current events. This causes a thick fog to spread around him and lowering visibility and allowing Tsuki to regain his position in battle.
-Requiem: His ultimate form of magic becomes a service for those who it will end. Tsuki uses a fluid somber motion for this as he conducts Requiem Dies Irae. This either creates a rush of water that surrounds his enemies and crushes them into a watery grave or creates a pool of water that surrounds one enemy then encases them in a columned prison if ice.
Strengths: He excels mostly in strength using his magic to aid him in battle and help cover faults. He is analytical and believes there should be fluidity in combat as well as life and music. His passionate heart makes it so that he feels compelled to help others and to lift their spirits.
Weaknesses: What he has in brain and brawn he lacks in confidence. Though he may see an opening or good way about a problem he always feels unsure to want to share or act on it for fear he's wrong and may hurt others. THIS often conflicts with his hearts want to help.
Tsukishio grew up an orphan. He attends the same high school as other boys but keeps the fact that he's an orphan secret, causing Tsuki to distance himself from his classmates unless engaging in musical activity. He conducts both at his school and the orphanage in which he lives in, teaching some of the kids how to play instruments. When not teaching, playing, or conducting, Tsuki attempts raising funds to help purchase instruments for the kids at the orphanage. He spends most of his time conducting, listening, or composing music. Although hes written many Concerto's and other songs, hes never once shown anyone or played them out outside of his head for fear of ridicule.
After school one day Tsuki found on his bed a sleek white box made in the same fashion and sheen as a grande white piano. Inside was a plain white conductors baton with a similar look to its box and sapphire at its pommel. Tsuki searched and questioned the orphanage for who had given it to him but no one knew where it came from. One night Tsuki had slipped out to the showers with his sheet music and began to conduct his own music in silence, imagining what it would sound like, picturing the fluid string of notes as he closed his eyes filling his thoughts with dreams of grandeur. While he did this he felt his baton radiate with energy and as he opened his eyes he saw the baton change shape into Mūn Hoyo and along with it as he continued to conduct, almost as if he couldn't stop. The melodies surrounded his body coming to life as they danced around him made of water. First was his shoes as they became white dress shoes with sapphire coloured laces, then his pants became a white set of dress pants. His hands continued moving up instructing the aquatic rhapsody to move to the torso transforming his shirt into a conductors tail coat that was as pure white as the rest of his garb. This new top came accompanied with a sapphire vest, tie, and white gloves. Finally with a cadence he flicks Mūn up and his hair goes from black to silvery-white, his eyes a deep blue, and small crown appears on his head, silver with four points each containing a sapphire in the shape of a phase of the moon.
Tsuki later learned how to control and manifest powers in this form. He had noticed that with this strange new ability not only did he receive magical power but he could also begin to see irregular shadows. Creatures that had no rhyme or reason, both their existence and appearance ruined any semblance of fluidity and soul and made Tsuki sick to his stomach. He felt a need to ensure the safety of those around him by defeating these shadows to which he felt an urge to rid not just for they safety of his city but also for the sake of ridding the land of unseemly dissonance. Though exhilarating, he found this just to be another secret he had to keep from others and friends he didn't have.
Personality: Wachter stern will is indomitable. He can be friendly at times, if rather plain, yet in battle, he is fierce and driven. He doesn't have many friends, yet he finds no problems in his solitude. He spends most of his free time working in his dad's shop, Good work is all he needs to be happy. He's very resourceful, and hates wasting. "If it's not broken, don't throw it away". Even when his weapon and armor start to wear down, he continues pressing onward, never one to back down from a situation unless he absolutely needs to.
Faction: Moon Princes
Magical Weapon: Eisen, an Iron Greatsword forged from Magic Iron. The sword has the power to cut through twelve feet of cinderblock as if it were paper. He can also cause it to temporarily change shape, along with his armor. However, if Wachter is careless, it is possible for him to break Eisen, in which he will need to reforge it.
Wachter channels Iron Magic, a force that flows through both his weapons and armor. To reproduce it, Wachter simply has to place an Ore of Magic Iron into melted, regular Iron. When it hardens, an entire new batch of Magic Iron has been produced. It is stronger, sturdier, and even lighter than regular Iron, as it's magic keeps it secure and dense. Also, Magic Iron can be manipulated to temporarily change from it's original shape, such as turning a Sword into a Shield. The energy inside of it can also be distributed into Arc slices and waves of force..
Grindstone: Wachter sharpens Eisen with a whetstone, making it become longer, sharper, and easier to hold and swing. Any abilities used by Wachter will also become stronger and deal more damage. However, as Eisen becomes more and more sharpened, it begins to become brittle, and will snap apart if too much pressure is placed against it.
Arc Strike: Wachter charges the magic inside of Eisen, and then swings it, causing a crescent wave of force to shoot forward. The longer he spends charging, the larger and more powerful the wave. If used while Eisen is under the effects of Eisen, it is at greater risk of becoming sundered. As an alternative, Wachter can shove his sword directly into the ground, causing an outward dome of force to be blasted instead.
Walking Fortress Armor: Wachter's armor transforms from it's average form into a extremely protective suit that covers him from head to toe. When his armor is in Walking Fortress form, it is almost entirely immune to most physical attacks. But while Eisen in Ultra form slows Wachter down to a walking speed, he can hardly move at all in Walking Fortress form. The effects lasts until either 30 minutes go by, or Wachter is knocked unconscious. After 30 minutes pass, Wachter turns back to normal, and cannot transform again for 24 hours.
Strengths: Wachter excels at defense and outlasting his opponent. His armor in it's natural state can easily stand serious attacks, yet Walking Fortress form allows him to take even more punishment. He's also physically capable of weathering crippling diseases as if they were colds. His will and resolve are also fortified, able to resist mind- control and mental attacks.
Weaknesses: Wachter is very slow. He's incapable of performing acrobatics, and can only run at an average person's sprinting speed. Also, while his armor is great at preventing physical damage, its exceptionally vulnerable to electricity and fire, and provides no defense against Magical Attacks.
Biography: Wachter was originally born in Germany to an Ironworker. He hardly knew his mother, and spent most of his childhood reading books and crafting things with his hands. By the time he was 9 years old, he moved to Tanzuki city and was helping his father in his shop, having callused hands from nights of work after school. Despite the rugged conditions of his life, Wachter simply bent like steel he worked on, adapting to a life of labor and hard work. When he realized his powers at age 11, Wachter discovered the tomb and armaments of the previous Prince of Iron, including Eisen. Wachter had spent years repairing the old Prince's armor and Eisen, as well as training and actively combating Shadows.
