I apologise that the IC is taking a while. I'm afraid I'm going to have to ask if you guys can be a little patient with me.

Recently I've been preparing the house to welcome a beautiful little Dalmatian puppy into it. Unfortunately, there was some distressing news from the breeder. There were 3 litters due, and the last two were born recently. However something seems to have gone wrong during the birthing as a lot of the puppies did not make it.

So I'm devastated and feeling absolutely awful for the Breeder and her family, as well as the mothers and those beautiful puppies who didn't get a chance to live their life. But I'm also upset because this turn of events means it is unlikely that there will be enough puppies to fill all the requests for one. So I don't think I'll be welcoming a Dal into my home this Christmas.

And now I kind of just feel like some sick jokes been played on me. I was so ready to welcome this dog into my life and give it all the love I possibly could and then some and now they've been taken away by some cruel twist of fate.

I will have the IC up today, because I need a distraction from all of this, but I just need this morning to have a bit of a rest and collect my thoughts and feelings. Thank you for being so understanding.

I'm really sorry to hear that about the puppies. I hope that you'll be able to get one but if not I hope you can find a way to get another puppy from either the same or another reputable breeder. I honestly can't imagine life without my cats (even when they are little brats) and it is horrible that those poor dogs were robbed of life and happy homes.

It's not a cruel twist of fate. It's just very shitty chance.

I'd say take your time but if composing the post helps take your mind off of things...

I was writing up the post but my family thinks that I should go and spend some time with a friend. So I think I'll go hang out with my buddy for the weekend.

Maybe while we're waiting for the IC, you guys could talk to each other about any established relationships between your characters? Both as Princes and regular people.

Lucas tends to not come back to class for at least an hour after lunch because he's just "not in the mood" for studying on a full stomach. This happens about once or twice a week.

I was planning on having him borrow notes often from random NPC buddies in class, but did anyone want to be the unfortunate schmuck that Lucas constantly bums off of?

Alternatively, does anyone want to be the other unfortunate schmuck who constantly catches Lucas out of class when he's not supposed to be (and actually cares about that)?

Jin goes to all her classes, but is usually asleep, day dreaming, doodling, or staring at the board/classwork/teacher so hard it looks like she's about to pass out.

EDIT: Jin would probably offer to share her notes, but they'd be almost completely useless.

Alexander likes 2 subjects: science and cultural studies.
Other than that, he's pretty useless busier developing magic routines and pranks than learing in his other classes. If you ned help in those two subjects, he's more than happy to help!

So if anyone wants to help plan pranks on the others, I'm so down!

Welp, Jumani is friends with just about everyone but tries to impress his superior princes in arms. Normally trying to stick with a friend rather than be alone, so I can write my character into any relationship that anybody wants.
You hate him, love him, you do a club activity with him. It'll be pretty easy to establish something if anybody wants to.

I also decided my character is Eurotrash and has a speech accent of some kind.
"Let us begin schooling morning! Perhaps we may visit the swimming local? I would most certainly enjoy the bowl of pig"

It's a regular High-School, so they'd be separated via grade.
I think there should be a secret ranking system for the Sun Princes that includes NPC princes as well, just to make the world seem more broad.

@Pudding Clubs are a good idea, though. And they're mandatory, iirc. I guess, given no choice, Lucas would join the home economics club so he could at least get free food.

I'll join home ec @January since he does actually cook and such at home to help his mother, it would make sense for him to be in it to learn a little more.

Mandatory Clubs are decided by the school, so some schools will enforce a student to join atleast one club, or they don't mind if you join none.

In the meantime @Achronum, did you want to throw some quick collab posts together for random interaction scenes in home ec? (I love working live with people on writing projects, haha.) Mandatory or not, Lucas would still likely join for the promise of free food (he just wouldn't realize he'd actually have to make the food), and the details in the collabs themselves will likely never contradict anything IC since these are isolated--and probably comedic--scenes in the club room.

Guess Mitsuru will be in either the Drama Club or Student Council.

If they're in the Drama Club then their contributions will consist solely in direction and script-writing. As much as the club members beg Mitsuru to take to the stage, they're pretty hesitant and clumsy when it comes to stage direction and memorising lines. Plus all that time spent at home consuming various media paid off for writing skills.

If they're in the Student Council then they'll be a secretary or random helper duty, though they're aiming for the role of President for their third year of high school.

Is it possible for Mitsuru to be in both?

There's no rule against being in more than one more club. I just believe that you'd need to be able to juggle it as in real life.
The strictness of a clubs attendance would be both dependant on the the club manager and the school.

For something like Student Council, you'd most likely have to report in for every meetup, whilst drama would probably be more lenient. Unless you were rehearsing a play that'll be shown to the public or something along those lines.
You could probably just join a club for the fun and be excluded from serious activities
ie; you enjoy playing basketball but are not on the team.
You enjoy helping the drama kids, but don't actually perform live. (For example, Jumani likes to watch the Drama people practice)

It's all determined by the club and the seriousness of their NPC or Player, Manager

Edit: Look at me, pretending to be a GM. These are all just suggestions btw, there's nothing concrete to them, so it's all up to us when you look at it.
