I've only recently been introduced to Gowi myself; due to a thread we ended up running into each other (I'd already seen his bio prior to this though) in when I decided to (in my personal opinion) have one of my less held back posting moments and really told off some people in the off-topic "bitchfest" thread who were bothering tsukune; one person in particular (this person isn't one of the people I'm mentioning since outside of that thread we've had no contact). I can link you to it if you'd like; just don't read a lot of (not all) the posts besides mine if you want to keep your brain cells; things actually got pretty damn ugly in there.
Anyway, me and Gowi are getting along really well for the most part (there's some disagreements, but almost everyone has those and I think we're being adult about it) and I agree he's a very good example of a long-standing member done right. Admittedly, I've only spoken to Lady A during the first couple of days on the site and then the PMs between us just sort of stopped happening (for no particular reason other than we had nothing significant to say to each other) so I haven't really become properly acquainted with her at all other than what I could make of her just by using my general reading skills, but a lot of you seem to like her.
It's nice to know that post left an impression on you, even if I don't think it was one of my better ones and I think my following one in that thread was probably a little better (though still not as good as it could be, and I get the feeling only Oliver and tsukune bothered to read it). At the very least I know some of you do appreciate me being here (some appreciate me being here a lot in fact) and that's probably the only reason I'm actually bothering to stick around given that I'm not actually even role-playing here and that's technically what I should've been signing up for but then I realized I could do some good community building.
I'll let you all know if I need to leave, but I feel like if it happened it would be more due to wanting to avoid admonishing several people and causing a big conflict. I'm already in a position where a lot of people likely think of me as "just some new guy", but I'm neither self-deprecating enough to view people here as my "superiors" nor will I tolerate something if I consider it unjust or against my principles. I feel like it's only a matter of time before I cause problems due to these things; I never do seem to stick around one place for long (like I said).
Whenever you feel like messaging me about it I'll be all ears; remember that.
