@DriveEMOut@Dark Light@mattmanganon@olcharlieboi@caliban22@RumikoOhara@Weird Tales@Simple Unicycle@SpinosaurusDrake was flashed to London and watched as chairs, tables and other objects that shouldn’t be running around chasing people were attack the citizens of London. The others began to attack the inanimate objects while the other half helped those floating in the air.
“Alright, going to need to use something different,” Drake said before he said, “Cyclone!” the Crystal in the middle of the Talisman changed from pure white to green before a massive whirlwind exploded out of the Crystal. Just like the flames the whirlwind created Gauntlets around his hands and arms, greaves and sabatons around his feet and legs, a helm that coated his head, and finally the whirlwind created wings.
Drake rushed towards a metal table that was chasing a woman. She fell and the table lunged for her. Drake created a small vortex of wind that sucked up the table and shot it across the city. He helped the woman up who instantly hugged him. He had his arms in the air and looked over to Barry for guidance.
“What?” Barry said before he instructed the woman to find shelter. After she left Barry asked,
“You’ve never been hugged before?”
“Well yeah, but only by people I know like friends and family,” Drake said.
“Well get used to it kid, that’s one of the perks of being a hero,” Barry said before he disappeared in a blur to help another person who was being chased three chairs.
“What if I don’t like that perk?” Drake said as though Barry could hear him. When he didn’t get a response. Drake sighed before he went to help a kid who was cornered by a chair, lamp, and phone booth. Drake flew up into the air and shouted; “Air cutter!” wind shot through the air and sliced the three objects in half. He landed back in the ground and added, “Get to safety kid. We’ll handle these things.” The kid nodded before running off the safety.
The team would find that just by smashing, burning, or cutting the objects would stop their advance on the citizens. Those helping the people floating in the air would find that once they touched the ground. They were no longer affected and wouldn’t float off again.
In a blur, Barry appeared next to Nightwing and said, “This isn’t as bad as I had thought.”
“Yes, but why would the Order simply have inanimate objects just chase people down. They never attacked any of the people they chased. Likewise, those who were floating in the air seemed to only float so far before stopping. Why would they not endanger people?” Nightwing asked.
“Simple, I’m only here to entertain. Not to hurt my audience,” a voice said before a puff of smoke, glitter, and confetti appeared in front of them. When the smoke cleared, a man wearing ripped black pants, a mesh fishing net shirt over a white shirt, and a jester’s hat appeared in front of them. His face was concealed by a handkerchief wrapped around the lower half of his face. The handkerchief had the print of the Chester cat grim from Alice in wonderland printed on it.
“Why would you ruin my show to all these people? I was simply just preforming for their viewing pleasure,” the man stated.
“And you are?” Barry asked.
“Oh my, were are my manners,” the man said before he removed his Jester’s hat and bowed as he introduced himself, “I am Kazarian, but my friends call me Kaz. You may call me Kaz as well.”
“What do you mean by performance?” Nightwing asked.
“Just what is sounds like; I came to London to perform for these people. Make their day to day lives a bit more entertaining,” Kaz stated.
“By making chairs chase them?” Barry said a little confused.
“What’s more harmless then a chair. Basically it was going to scoop them up and run around with them sitting on it. Sure it might run into traffic and may cause an accident, but there’s always a risk for a reward,” Kaz said.
“You’re playing with these people’s lives!” Barry yelled
“I’m making their lives better and much more fun. Sure some people might get hurt, but they’ll just get back up and enjoy the show again,” Kaz said,
“He’s out of his mind,” Barry said to Nightwing.
“Indeed, Barry if you could, take care of Kazarian. We’ll interrogate him later to find out more about the Order of Chaos,” Nightwing said.
Barry nodded before he charged towards Kaz at breakneck speed. To everyone else he was a blur. However, before he was even three feet away from Kaz. A man seemed to just pop into existence and grab Barry by his face before he slammed him into the ground. Barry gasped for air as it felt like all the air from his lungs was sucked out.
The man that had appeared wore a white mask over his face. His eyes were hidden since the eye holes were pitch black. He had on a black leather jacket over his white t-shirt and had black jeans that had a printed white cross on the right leg.
Kaz snapped his fingers and a small three foot staff appeared in his right hand. The tip of the staff had a toy like jester head on it. The head was suddenly replaced with a microphone and when he tapped it. It sounded like invisible speakers were all around the group.
“By god they’ve killed him! As god as my witness he’s broken smack dab in half,” Kaz joked before the mic changed back into the Jester head. Barry coughed as a small trickle of blood dripped down from the corner of his mouth.
“Geez Maze, couldn’t you at least make a dramatic entry before actually kicking his ass?” Kaz asked. Maze looked back at Kaz and didn’t say a word. On Maze’s back was a military grade shovel made of reinforced steel.
“Damn it Maze, could you slow down for once!” a man yelled as he ran up to Kaz and bent over to catch his breath. He wore a red hoodie that was unzipped and showing his green shirt underneath. He wore blue jeans with dog tags hanging from his pant loops and brown work boots. Maze once again didn’t say a word before he turned to the team.
Nightwing quickly took out his staff and waited for them to make the first move. As he waited he said, “You all need to find the rest of the civilians and get them to safety. We can’t let them get in the cross hairs.”
