@Claw2k11only 17 cruiser size ships, 2 dreadnaughts, and 2 carriers which will immediately release over one hundred ships into the system's kuiper belt. They'll drop out of hyperspace and then introduce themselves while eating your asteroids. That won't be seen as an invasion fleet establishing a beachhead, right?

It's just a family outing.

That does seem a bit invasive to them, I mean, they have mining stations on the large asteroids and the planetoids in the system's Kuiper belt. They won't attack your fleet, but they won't see you with very good eyes.

As long as you don't come near the capital solar system, they won't attack you without questioning you first. But I'd say to leave the RP'ing for the actual RP.

@Polybius Alright, I can drop a few lines into the History when the RP starts and jump right in. I will say though, that I will probably work on my sheet as the RP progresses. I'm not great with sheets because I'm too picky about how I word things, and I dislike setting things in stone because I prefer to just develop my nation as I go. So expect my sheet to be updated, and things to be changed. I'll always let everyone know though, so no sneaky edits to worry about.

EDIT: I made some very slight edits to my sheet yesterday where I clarified that the Collective's actions against the Concordance and the Mandate have been "indirect." As in, they aren't taking responsibility for any of it even though it's pretty clear that they are involved. This is because they'd rather not piss of space-Nato, of which the Concordance is a part of.

@gorgenmast Just to get on the same page, I figured we would all do a sort of introductory post then move onto a few rounds of Galactic Council posts. I don't necessarily have a plan for the pace of the RP, more a feeling it out attitude. What are your thoughts?

Alright I worked on my app, with some new characters I figured most apps didnt contain a huge amount of information on individual leaders, so I just gave a brief explanation of the role they play.

Just a suggestion, but maybe instead of pasting our whole sheets into that first IC post, you should list the factions and hyperlink them to our actual app post in the OOC, that way you don't have to constantly edit changes we make to our sheets. Because, as I said, I will probably make changes and additions and I know you probably don't want to be going back and forth all the time. The little paperclip/chain symbol on the top right of every post gives you the link to that specific post, so you can use that to link to the apps.

Nothing set in stone yet. Tossing around the idea for a flashback post of some sort to establish the tenor of the Concordance. Your concept of a few introductory posts before deliberation on the Galactic Council sounds agreeable to me.

What about those of us that aren't members? Should we RP our reaction to the formation of the UA?

I think the UA has been around for a while now.

If you're not a UA member you can probably just do whatever you want for your first few posts. My faction has a non-voting member so I may jump into the meeting, but I could also just not. We'll see.

EDIT: I made some slight changes to the my app (mostly wording) and completely changed the 'government' tab.

I figure the Mandate will have some nefarious plotting (and seething in rage at the last Collective incursion) to do to suffice for an introduction. Afterwards, what would everyone say of the idea of them infiltrating the Council by some means?
