So, I have to get to bed for work in the morning. As enticing as it is to skip town and run off with orcs, I have no clue whose in that group and the idea of pissing off the rest of the characters sounds a bit....eeeeehhh for my taste.
I mean, Kaite would jump on it since she doesn't owe any of you clowns a damn thing, but I kinda like the idea of people getting along.

Don't feel overwhelmed by the size and quantity of the posts people put here. Remember, this is a Casual RP, and I don't think anybody will mind if the most you can put out is a few lines. Like XenoCyanide said, do whatever your character would do. The last we saw of Dionaea, she was equipping the items in the chest. After that, Xen gave everyone a day's rest to prepare. He went off to strategize with Sadron while everyone else split and went into town. Realistically speaking, you're not going to notice everything that happened in town, so if you want to join up with someone, just pick somebody that interests you and run with their in-town plotline. Or, if you don't feel like writing, have Dionaea do what needs to be done and go back to the Hill to wait.

That's what I would do, anyway.

* The Storyteller wished upon the ring that Erudessa have survived the encounter with the Warlock. Nothing happened. It could be interpreted one of two ways: 1) that his wish was impossible, or 2) that what he wished for was already true and needed no further action. His conclusion was #1, that the wish was impossible.
* Sadron put the responsibility for the quest on Xen's shoulders. Xen's first action was to allow everyone a day's rest to prepare. He went off to strategize with Sadron while the others split into town.
* Kaite taught some kids in town how to fight, and subsequently had an encounter with Gorman, an orc Lieutenant, who requested that she join his warband. She has yet to make a decision.
* The Storyteller finally met up with Cuccoruler's character Vert, who apparently met up with some kind of unfortunate (and bloody) accident. Then Xen got involved, and they're now hunting for the culprit.

That's about the gist of things. You didn't miss much.

The orc is unrelated to the violent incident in town. I wouldn't put it past the other players to treat it like his fault, though. It would make things interesting.

If by "detection" you mean "defection" and by "Hitman" you mean "Captain," then the answer is "sort of." The elves aren't too fond of either orc faction, but the only force the elves have on the field right now is our Champions of Hope, and they won't be hunting you down anytime soon (unless to rescue you, maybe). But you won't have to worry about that because the Captain's warband isn't physically accessible anyway - she's landlocked by Fellmore's mountain borders and the Southern Fellmore Warlock, who controls the only road into the country.
