~HANAZONO ASUKA~
Age:
17
Year:
Third
Personality:
Charming and elegant, a very courtesan attitude. She could seduce you with just a few simple words or with just a look of her eyes. She is also quite flirty at times, especially with other girls.
Asuka does care for others and does what's necessary to help those in need, but when angered, her personality shifts and she becomes cold, relentless, even to the point of lashing out. She's not above using her womanly charms to get what she desires, and will always do so, believing herself to be irresistible to both men and women. However, it's become apparent to some that she enjoys the company of women more than men, possibly even a physical attraction to them. Though she is also sociable with men, she has a particular disdain for some, especially if they take advantage of a woman in any way or are cruel to them.
Once, Asuka used to be so cheerful and full of life, but due to tragic events in her past, her happiness has long since been usurped by depression. When most see Asuka, she's a blank slate. Her emotions are unpredictable and difficult to discern and she's constantly keeping to herself. Only a sparse few know what she is feeling deep down inside.
Background:
Not a whole lot is known of Asuka's history as she barely recounts it much. She was born to a very wealthy family, her father the executive for a pharmaceutical company in Tokyo and her mother a former actress now a stay at home wife. What is most notable of Asuka's history is her many relationships with other girls and how they ended with her breaking their hearts. She's notorious for her escapades and for going from one relationship to the next. In fact, it's gained her the very cheeky moniker "Akuma no Hime" or Princess of Devils, as she is just as charming as a devil but just as deceitful. Despite this tacky title, it hasn't dented her popularity among the students of Saint Lilium. Perhaps one day Asuka may find that one true love...to mend her own broken heart.
Other things:
~"As if you really need to know everything about me?"~
-Asuka is quite the skilled musician, learning to play both violin and piano at age ten. She was on her way to becoming a musical prodigy, but lost interest in it during her teenage years. From time to time she still plays just for fun.
-In a jewelry box in her dorm, Asuka keeps a cross necklace that she never wears. It is believed to have been a gift from one of her many lovers as it has special meaning to her
-Asuka's horse for Equestrian Club is Shear Breeze, a present from her father for her 12th birthday. Asuka used to take care of her, but now the stable hands tend to the horse after she too lost interest in Shear Breeze due to her depression.
-Her family consists of her, her younger sister Chizuru who attends a different school, her two older brothers Takeshi and Naota who are both a respected lawyer and a doctor, and of course her mother and father Hibana and Kanryu.
-Though she is only 17, Asuka is quite fond of alcoholic beverages, preferably wine, champagne, or vodka, as she is not a big fan of beer or sake. Never once had she drunk herself into an intoxicated stupor oddly enough, as more or less she just likes the taste of it and nothing more.

ITAGAKI TOHRU
ITAGAKI TOHRU
Age: 16
Year: Second
Personality:
Tohru is cynical, sarcastic, and rather antisocial. She mostly likes to keep to herself, but doesn't really mind speaking with others. She is easily annoyed by some people, and may come off as a total bitch, but she does have a caring side to her and will fiercely protect those she cares for. Also, Tohru is mostly attracted to girls, but has never had the courage to ask any out.
Background:
Growing up, life was hard for Tohru. Her father left her and her mother when she was only six and her mother passed away two years later from some unknown disease. She was sent to live with her grandmother in a place where it seemed to snow every single year, even during the summer months.
At school, she never fit in, and really never choosed to, which led to most of the students scoffing her and bullying her. In high school, music became her escape. She would spend days at an old record store in her home town, listening to music ranging from classic rock to punk to indie rock and even some heavy metal. She fell in love with the music and decided one day she would have a band of her own. To realize this dream though....it meant practice. Each day, Tohru would sing along with whatever song she was listening to, hating the sound of her voice at first, but as time grew on, she got better and even began writing lyrics of her own, not to mention picking up a guitar and learning a few chords.
By the time she was fourteen, she was fed up with school and living with her grandmother, deciding one night to run away with a bit of yen stolen from her grandma's money jar and hop the first train to Tokyo, pursuing her dream. Life in the big city though wasn't glamorous as it seemed to be, Tohru having learned that the hard way when she first stepped off the train, broke, homeless and only a red and black Gibson SG to her name. Her dream was going to take ambition to succeed....but also money.
She fell in with a bad crowd of delinquint kids, stealing money and getting into fights with the police and other gangs. It was when she stole from a woman's purse on a train one day Tohru was caught red handed. The woman however took pity on her. She was Kagome Serizawa, the headmistress of Saint Lilium. She made a deal with the police that Tohru would attend school instead of be sent to jail and that she would look after her as a legal guardian.
The police agreed, and so...Tohru is stuck at this place until she graduates. She never attends classes much unless the headmistress makes her and she's been in trouble a few times, mostly for fighting.
But one day, she will leave the school and live her dream of being a rockstar.
Other Things:
-Tohru smokes...alot. The girl barely keeps a pack of cigarettes for a day
-Her favorite bands are the Sex Pistols, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Metallica, and Motorhead.
-The guitar Tohru has is a red 1969 Gibson SG Series. The same as Tony Iomi, one of her biggest influences.
-Tohru carries a small switchblade knife on her at all times, so it's best not to pick a fight with her.

~SERIZAWA KAGOME~
Headmistress of Saint Lilium
Age:
"You know, sweetie, it's quite rude to ask a woman of her age."
35
Personality:
"Ah, well, you know how I am.~"
Serizawa-Sama may appear to some as stern and stoic, but once they get to know her, many teachers and students find she is very sweet, soft spoken and motherly, but if you anger her, you better watch out, especially if it concerns Tohru. She loves her job as headmistress of the school and takes pride in her work shaping and nurturing the young minds of tomorrow, not to mention all the cute teachers she gets to flirt with, much to the embarrassment of her adopted daughter. Despite Tohru's delinquint attitude and her tendency to cause trouble, never once does Kagome show disdain towards her and defends her from teachers who want the girl expelled and/or thrown in jail. She loves her daughter very much and wants to see her succeed, proving the teachers of St. Lilium wrong about Tohru being nothing but trash.
Background:
"I suppose you want to know everything about me, hmm? Very well"
Growing up, Kagome always knew two things. One, she was attracted to women, and two, she's always wanted to be a mother.
Kagome grew up in Osaka to a rather wealthy family. Her father was at one time advisor to the Prime Minister of Japan, and her mother was a school teacher turned stay at home wife. For the remainder of her life, she was home schooled, until her family moved to Tokyo and she began attending school regularly. She wanted to be a teacher when she grew up, just like her mother, but more than most, she dreamed of having a lovely family of her own someday, a beautiful wife and daughter.
After graduating, she started work as a literature teacher at Saint Lilium's Academy for Young Women. The headmistress at the time was very stern and more or less, in Kagome's opinion...kind of a bitch. Nevertheless, she enjoyed teaching and eventually she fell in love with another teacher at the school, math teacher Junko Mamiya.
Junko and Kagome were together for three years when Kagome decided she wanted to have a child. They considered artificial insenination, but...tragedy struck. Kagome ended up having a miscarriage by her third trimester. She was going to have a girl... The death of her beautiful daughter drove her into a deep depression for almost a year. She never ate nor slept. She was sick all the time too, which took a toll on her job. Not only that, but she discovered soon her girlfriend was cheating on her with another woman.
Her life, the perfect family she wanted, it was all crumbling to pieces around her. The woman eventually decided...to take her own life.
Twas either a miracle or a cruel twist of fate, but somehow a teacher found her face down on her desk in her office clutchig a bottle of pills. She was barely alive when the doctors rushed her to the ER, but they saved her life. She was diagnosed with clinical depression and spent weeks in therapy.
After making a recovery, she managed to get her job back at Saint Lilium, despite protest from the headmistress. Her dreams of a family were dashed, but she still wanted to be a teacher. Years went on and she worked her way through, eventually earning the title of headmistress herself. It was one of her greatest achievements ever, but sadly there was no one to share the glory with.
Then, one day as she was taking the train to work, a scraggly young girl snatched her purse and took off running. Serizawa gave chase, and soon, so did the police. Right as Kagome saw the girl, she knew she was homeless. Kagome took pity on the poor child. The police were treating her like they would any other delinquint. This angered her. She stepped in, ordering them to leave her alone.
Eventually, she found out the girl's name was Tohru Itagaki. She had no known relatives, other than an estranged father who made no efforts at all to claim the child, and her grandmother who passed away not long after Tohru ran from home. Kagome decided she would adopt the girl rather than have the police arrest her. Per her requirements, the girl was to attend school regularly at Saint Lilium. Tohru hated it, but it was either that or be sent to jail.
Kagome will admit, this isn't what she expected her first child to be, but she loves Tohru no less and does everything she can to be a good mother for her, even putting up with Tohru's brash and rebellious behavior.
Other Things:
"My my, you're an inquisitive one. How long is this interview?"
-Serizawa's favorite scent is chamomile
-She's not a big fan of Tohru's music, but if it's what her daughter likes, she'll tolerate it. She's actually more fond of seventies and eighties American pop music and traditional Japanese music.
-She likes to drink wine, champagne, and vodka on some occassions. Sake isn't really her forte and beer is just gross to her
-Serizawa is an avid fan of classic western films. Her favorites are Gone with the Wind and Casablanca
