[OOC] My Emperor, The Galaxy Is Yours For The Taking (Space Opera NRP)

I smell a potential plotline :)

An underground slave trade going on between influential Malisse merchants and the Dathu Hives, loads of food and slaves made as tribute in exchange for the "peace". Now we need a plucky team of heroes to put a stop to the madness :P

I am going to place my approx location on the map after this post. Note that it is not official as I need to know where and how large my neighbours are primarily (and it also requires approval from GM).

I am also waiting on @The Spectre to create his sheet before I begin my first IC post, as he will likely be my closest and most important neighbour. (Since he is playing Earth)

I have also created some more cultural information in the "other" note section that may be of some interest.

Note: I am not sure how large our nations are supposed to be (Particularly with the super small players in comparison). My territory is a small fraction of the galaxy but spans probably millions of star systems (Considering the Milky Way has 100 billion stars in it), though obviously only a tiny fraction of it is actually colonized.

As can be seen, the Terran Federation is focused around the Perseus arm, though it has begun encroaching upon the Orion Arm.

I edited some stuff on my nation, mainly my character Karak Ubalyz, as well as the addition of some information regarding the three factions of the Zakaab Empire: the Grand Army of Zakaab, the Primal Fleet, and the Servitors.

I do notice that it may seem pretty intimidating, military wise, as I wanted to get the sort of Progenitor, Forerunner feel to my nation.

As is apparent, I tried to balance this with the fact that the entire nation is slumbering and the Primal Fleet is pretty stupid and relies on pseudo-swarm tactics, even though they appear unbeatable. For this purpose, I specifically made it so that you can entirely immobalize a contingency fleet by targeting certain aspects of its infrastructure.

By the bye, whereabout the galactic centre would Zakaab be located? If it were far enough from the Imperial core, Conglomerate technology looters (I shall probably expand on those in the sheet at some point) might well stumble upon it in their searches and, as the adage goes, inadvertently awaken the sleeping giant...

Don't worry, everything is going to be alright. At least, no one brought up the fact that there are at least 100 billion star systems in the Milky Way and the sheer amount of emptiness between systems that is necessary to even represent something in the map, among many other minor details!!

Regarding the Technology level, it is your typical Space Opera advancement. Think Star Wars, Dune, Warhammer 40k, Ender's Game Books Past the first one. You have planet busting capabilities, but chances are, you won't use these unless you are willing to have worse done against you. Regarding how you wish to create fleets of ships, it doesn't matter if you wish to use a large amount of smaller ships, a small amount of extremely large ships, or a mix of both, but please, realize that you do not have the ability to destroy the galaxy, nor even a solar system.
