@Morose @Sigil @mnkee @Sputnik @rivaan - Okay, remember what I said earlier - quoting it here as a refresher. The scene is now set. Declare an action in PM. (Single) - You will get your results there. Once an action is declared, you must post for it - there is no changing it if the rolls don't go in your favor. (Auto kick if you don't. NO edits will be allowed.) - You have until day 5 of LLA's post to ask for rolls and get results. (One at a time!) - After that, no more rolls.

Those characters not at Almack's are on standard counter time, so your last post is still your counter. Those running more than one character, each character is on the counter associated with their location.

Okay, once everyone has posted since my last post that has characters at Almack's things are going to get interesting. I will be setting the scene for a fight, once my post is up, we will remove rotation for you all at Almack's and you will go into fight mode. From my post you will determine what skills you want to do and pm me for results! LLA will roll the dice and you will get your information in the PM to how it goes - then you will work that into your next post. (Remember, once you call what you are doing for that round it is set no matter how the rolls go down. So you have to post for them. Think carefully.)

This is going to allow us to go into fight mode and get posts done quicker while keeping things easier to read. If you are going to remain paired up with certain characters or be near them when all hell breaks out - PM me together with your joint efforts so you know how each of you are reacting and succeeding or failing as things go along. You will have until day 5 on my WN counter to send me for rolls, after that, no rolls will be made. If you succeed in something and are under day 5 on your counter and want to continue, send me you next "attempt" - you can do this as many times as you succeed before day 5 on your counter.

If you have any questions, go ahead and ask - will answer as much as I can.

Oh and be prepared, some rolls have already been made and LLA has claimed 1 character before we even begin.

Okay, clarification - The scream was NOT something associated with Soulless! So it wouldn't tell anything, other than it being one hell of a scream. Think Maid Marian, Robin Hood Prince of Theives with Kevin Costner.

Okay, seems to be a bit of confusion when it comes to what to send me. So gonna give everyone an example from what Mnkee sent me for the first round to show how this works....

Thalken, on the other hand, is close enough that he would hear the commotion with Millicent and react. I figure since he already has a throwing knife in his hand his first course of action would be to throw that knife at the Ryne, before unsheathing his sword. So, can my first roll be to figure out if his knife throw hits the Ryne or not and whatever chain of events that causes?

Okay, that was what Mnkee sent me for round one. Now the sword couldn't be drawn because that would be a second action but I made rolls for the first.... So here were the results....

Yeah, I have it in the IC that he walks out to the balcony just as the Ryne screams.

Alright, action declared... ~smirks considering Ryne is wrestling with Millicent right now~ Oh this should be interesting...
(1 equal auto death or fail, 20 equal perfect outcome sent by god)
The rolls -

Roll to see if he is fast enough once he steps out there to throw - (15) He is
Roll to see if people running away stumble into him as he throws - He manages to avoid them (12)
Roll to see how steady the knife throw is - It is pretty good throw (16)
Roll to see if he hits anyone running between the Ryne and himself - He's good, knife continues on path, managing not to hit the numerous people running around frantically (17)
Roll to see if it hits the Ryne or in the tussle, hits Millicent - It hits Millicent and completely avoids Catherine! (3)
Roll to see where it hits Millicent - Thankfully it just catches her in the soft flesh of her thigh, it goes in but falls out in the struggle without cutting a major artery (17)
Roll to see if Catherine turns her attack on Thalken or keeps with Millicent - (1-10 Thalken, 11-20 Milli) - She stops and turns, baring her teeth at Thalken (8)

Now to see what happens with Catherine -

Roll to see how close Catherine can get to Thalken once the knife hits Millicent - Not very far, Millicent manages to drive the sword further into Catherines chest but it only her upper chest near the shoulder. Catherine falls back as the blade comes with her and out of Millicents hands. (2)

So, that is how it works. You give me a single action and I make the rolls. Getting through a crowd would a roll, drawing a weapon is an action, using a single skill against a single opponent is an action. All require multiple rolls to see not only if it succeeds but how and the consequences, as well as the reactions from those around you.

Now Thalken was the only character close enough with a weapon ready to start a fight - So everyone needs to be pming me that single action to start getting into position. The rolls will determine if you even get a single step forward. Take this into consideration. Remember 1 action. (ANd actions are short, think what you can do in 1 second to start, the rolls determine just how far things go.)

How has it only been two days since that epic post?! I am just so excited to see what all is going to happen! I have too much free time on my hands right now. I just don't know what to do with myself. :P
