@Nightwing95 oh that's fine :) I expected Rheagar to enter the tournament in the next scene and Jenn to either be fetching water or dismissed. Mable will spend the tourney watching with a very angry Jenn in a likelihood with Steffon being the subject of the posts, but your right it's probably safe to post for Jenn, but I'll hold off on Steffon as he's won the first round of duels and I don't want to move to fast though now that round is over for Steffon. So I'll just post a short section of Jenn's reaction as well as Steffon preparing for the second round.

I was literally thinking that- would it be too soon for Rhaegar and Ellion to perhaps joust, or should that come after the next couple of tilts? Just to up the ante, and really see what the

Also, Rhaegar's armour is quite possibly the coolest fucking thing I've seen today.

I would love that @kingkonrad, but the thing is, Rhaegar will be participating at the melee now and its conclusion is a very important piece in his character evolution.

Nah, no worries- I thought from the armour he was jousting, but nvm. Would there be anyone else involved in it?

@MrDidact@kingkonrad I am trying to have it so Ser Aerion is either seated near, and next to the Tyrells during the Jousts. I have to smooze a wealthy patron, and with the Baratheons not fully in yet, the Tullys not spoken for, the Starks not spoken for, the Lannisters sorta spoke of, and the Arryns not having lost any lands/lords/families during the war, not much in the way of open land to try and gain as a reward. Some Riverlands lords/families were completely wiped out, but I am not sure if the timeline has seen to either new lords taken those titles and lands, or if a bastard/cousin has taken over. I.E. House Darry. I am curious if there are any other lands that would be open, or if something could be created out of the lands of existing houses.

Sounds good! I do feel like I might have timed this wrong with the joust, but meh, I think there's probably a few lists that are ending.

@Greenie No problem, I aim to please.

@Catchphrase Sounds good to me.

@Nightwing95@kingkonrad Myself and Nightwing were planning a nice milestone in Rhaegar's character with the melee, other characters are free to join of course, I believe Ser Towers is a possible competitor, but from there we will have to all plan something together.

If Ellion wants to joust with a dragon prince, I can have Prince Viserys face off with him. He's basically Ellion's Targ counterpart in family position and temperament so that should be something of a match-up. Prince Aemon and Ser Aegon could also be opponents.

@Abefroeman I can definitely have it so Aerion is seated near the Tyrells. It also seems I have to take control of House Lannister for a bit, so I can speak for them too. For the Riverlands, Darry was given to a legitimized bastard Darry, but Harrenhall is big enough that splitting the territory between multiple families would be feasible; the Lothsons could share their massive land with the Strongs and Whents; and the Lannisters may be willing to give Clegane Keep and the Golden Tooth back to their original families. House Fowler owns the Prince's Pass and the Targs have the deed to the Tower of Joy. Besides that, the Stepstones are still sparsely populated by landed nobility and more room could be carved out for vassals. Of course all of this would have varying degrees of likelihood and would likely not be free.

The upcoming mission I'm planning could influence several character's wishes to some degree, and not just the Band of Seven.

I will try to have a post forthcoming tonight to help people get things moving along, but it won't be a big scene change like I was thinking; since I was planning to have the grand melee packed with the wedding feast and bedding ceremony.

@kingkonrad I have to try and make sure Viserys' armor matches up to all the stuff we've seen before.

There's something absolutely insane about Targaryen armour. It's like, they looked at a normal suit of armour and thought, fuck it, how can we make this more gothic, dark and utterly scary. Brilliance.

@kingkonrad I agree, it's food for my nerd soul.

I'm picturing a draconic black knight riding at the knight in shining rose armor and it's awesome.

@kingkonrad Well if Ellion jousts with Viserys, it'd be separate occasions. It'd just be a tilt, not part of the melee.

@Greenie Can anyone say awkward?

@MrDidactFor sure, for sure. Just was curious about the state of things since the wars ended. I wasn't sure how brutal it would have been, what houses would have sided with who, who would have been wiped out completely, who would have had their lands reduced or taken completely for their support of the losing side. And if any blood feuds wiped out a family completely as well.

((Going by the books, and the show to a certain degree, the Riverlands and the Northern Westerlands were hit the hardest during the wars. The North to a degree through the Ironborn, and Roose Bolton's violent rule over it. I don't know of any Reach Houses being wiped out, unless they supported Cersei during the reconquest of the Targaryen's. The Stormlands may have had some folks wiped out during Aegon's conquest of the region, unless that it not being used so to speak. While the Stepstones are nice, and are a viable option, I just want to see what areas are even open, if there are still bandit holdouts, abandoned castles, forts, holdfasts, towns, etc.))

I know it is also possible to cede pieces of land from different folks to create a new lordship/land/region. Lorewise this has been done when a house is in disfavor with their high-lord, lord-paramount, or the crown. Worst case, is I return to the Stepstones, through the course of RP and sheer luck, perhaps end up with a landed title on one of the islands, or a Lordship over the entire isle... etc etc. Well, I will patiently see what happens through the course of time.

@Nightwing95@kingkonrad mind if I join the collab?
@MrDidact how many rounds are in the melee and who's competing? Maybe we could all figure out brackets so i know who will beat Steffon as I want him to compete, but not win anything.

@kingkonrad I'll be on later tonight, we'll figure this out.

@Abefroeman It would have been fairly brutal but we're going to assume that all of the notable families pulled through one way or another, just to keep options open. Of course there would have been many casualties but that goes without saying. Since the backstory is a melding of book and show canon, I had Daenerys and Aegon strike a pact when she arrived in Westeros; so the Reach, Dorne, and a part of the Stepstones backed them while the Vale, the North, and most of the Riverlands backed Jon. The West and the Iron Islands would have been in an alliance between Euron and Cersei, and the Stormlands would have been a bit of a clusterfuck and torn in multiple different directions. Later Euron and Cersei are both taken out of the game, Aegon is revealed to be a Blackfyre (but is then accepted into the Targ family), and the kingdoms are united under Jon and Dany to fight the White Walkers.

As for blood feuds, that'll be up to the players but I think we can assume the Lannisters aren't particularly liked by any of the other Houses, along with the Freys and Boltons. The Tyrells and Florents are probably somewhat cold too. I don't think Jon and Dany would have been terribly merciless, so only the clear wrongdoers were punished with exile to the Night's Watch or execution, but most people would have kept their titles and lands. For the Band of Seven, most of them might be able to regain former lands or new lands might be carved out of existing ones; we'll just have to see. I don't have an exhaustive list of ruins or anything like that, but new holdings can be built or rebuilt.

@Masterkeun The grand melee is more of a giant free-for-all with hundreds of mounted competitors at the same time. What Steffon has been doing is more along the lines of one-on-one duels. In the melee, people can make alliances as they please but there can only be one winner. Steffon is free to join and then get knocked out by someone if that's what you wish.

@Masterkeun No problem. I kinda want to get a firm handle on just how many people are going to compete in the grand melee though and how many people want to interact with Jon or Rhaegar directly.

Steffon could fight several other warriors and lose to some famous fighter, or do you want Steffon to fight either of them in person?
