I will have to discuss with Didact if my posting frequency being obtuse is grounds for denial or not, however. Meanwhile, I have posts to write and other things to do.
I'm glad to see you came over to my side of the force! But really I dont want you to fee obligated to play her and if you think you'll end up losing interest I'd still recommend doing something else. But if you really do like the idea then awesome cause I'd be excited to see that plot play out!
@Gowi How often do you think you'd be able to post? At least once a week or are you thinking less?
@DrunkasaurusRex Great sheet, go ahead and put it in the CS tab, you're accepted.
It would really depend. I’m going through a lot of things right now in my home life and I’m actively engaged in a few RP’s right now— but I would try to post sequences weekly, yes, but given my past history I have fluctuated between once a week-to-once every two or three. I don’t want to disappoint anyone, of course, but I will extend that yourself and Dredigan have been somewhat convincing that I am working on a CS.
@Gowi Well once you work out a sheet, I think a post once every couple of weeks from you would be fine; as long as we keep getting word from you that you're still interested and still in the game. If you want you could also open up House Baratheon a bit to let other players have minor POVs in the House, in case anyone wants to play one of the bastards for example.
Don't feel obligated to join the game just because, but if you want to go ahead and play I'll tweak some of the backstory once you have your sheet together.
Yeah, I only really intend to POV one member of the house— her introspection, concerns, and defenses (against the Vulture King?). Shireen might even be privy to making Robert’s bastards as errant members of the house; similar to how House Blackfyre happened with the Targaryens. I’d definitely be communicative and collaborative, especially if we have some sort of discord to chat on during off hours.
Shireen was not considered an attractive child, but in her adulthood became less representative of her parents and moreso of her grandmother, Cassana Estermont. Howver, following her resurrection by R’hllor, whilst Shireen was granted a second chance at life it did not heal her grayscale disfiguration nor did it restore her spirit. Shireen’s expressions are distant, cold, and cautious— always distrusting of her fellow man and even what miniscule family that remains. As an adult Shireen’s hair is a rich brown-black and her eyes are a cerulean blue. Additionally, Shireen doesn’t eat in excess and tries to find other methods to entertain her mind such as archery, religious scripture, poetry, and philosophy. This in turn has given her a petite albeit toned build underneath the strands of dark-toned (blue, blue-black, etc.) dresses and cloaks.
@MrDidact The character's named are all in running for the Frey seat those with other families names are still from Walder's genealogy, but are minor houses rarely mentioned in the books. Steffon the second is the son of Walder's Grandson Steffon the first through Walder's second wife. Jenn rivers is a bastard born grandchild of black walder. Mable and Malkor are children of Bryan Frey. Walder Haigh and Rickard Wylde are great grandchildren of Walder Frey as well through his forth and fifth wife. I only meant in the deaths to imply the first wife's descendants had killed each other off as well as the grandparents. In a family tree this complicated it ends up that most houses have some connection to the Frey House. I'll remove Walder Haigh and Rickard Wylde to simplify my sheet. If anyone wants to be a frey there are still 68 other great grand children or more who could try to claim Riverrun my focus is on Malakor and Mable only because Malakor managed to retake Riverrun temporarily. Jeffon is the proper successor after the blood bath, but almost all claims are weak. Jeffon is therefore not only attempting to clear the lands of Malakor, but stop any challenges to his position.
Thanks for your patience with my CS I never realized how hard it would be to make sense of the Frey family tree. Indeed the Vance house has a stronger claim to riverrun then the Frey's.
House: Lannister Region: The Westerlands Liege: The Iron Throne Holding: Casterly Rock, Lannisport, and Darry along with other titular positions outside the Westerlands.
Following Jaime Lannister's banishment from the Kingsguard and the subsequent death of Cersei Lannister at her brothers hands in the following months the Lannister dynasty was removed from the Iron Throne and stripped of their influence over the Seven Kingdoms. Jaime went on to further abdicate his title of Lord of the Rock to his brother Tyrion Lannister in the wake of the Long Night and, While still regarded as one of the most infamous men in Westeros, Tyrion had become a close adviser to Queen Danaerys before her return to the country. It was because of this close tie to the queen that he was made Hand of the King following the realm's victory against The Others.
With Tyrion on the seat of Casterly Rock as well as guiding King Jon and Queen Danaerys in most matters of state his clever stewardship was one of the footholds the realm used to heal itself from the long periods of fighting in the years prior. Though Tyrion has gained a reputation for being quick, helpful, and fair much of the realm still views him for what he is: A Lannister and a Dwarf, and Tyrion often wonders which of those titles is more damning. Despite Tyrion's rise to power, however, the Lannister family saw its share of hardships in the years following the War of the Five Kings. The family's experienced leadership died with the brothers Tywin and Kevan Lannister and so the family had to work hard for years to regain their fortitude and re-strengthen the Rock.
This was partially accomplished through the still valid marriage of Tyrion Lannister and Sansa Stark. By Tyrion's own reluctant suggestion and Danaerys favoritism toward the dwarf, King Jon and Lady Sansa agreed to keep the marriage intact and forge a lasting bond between the North and the Westerlands. This allowed both realms to profit off of the others knowledge and resources and help aid the rebuilding of both houses after their hard times in the previous years. Now the Westerlands are nearly out of the woods with their war debt and damage and things are starting to look up for House Lannister, despite some of their numerous enemies plotting against them and indeed even some of their own turning cloak.
Family Members:
Name: Tyrion Lannister Age: 50
Appearance: Tyrion is a Dwarf standing just over three feet tall with stubby legs and a slightly bulbous head. He possesses a unique stare with one vibrant green eye and one dark purple along with a sickening scar that travels diagonally across what remains of his nose from his forehead to his jaw. His bleach blonde hair has turned mostly white, however it would be difficult for one to tell much of a difference, and his beard is now kempt in a tidy goatee. Along with Tyrion's previous scarring at the battle of the black water, he has gained several more from the three battles he fought after returning to westeros, and he walks with a limp now, due to having had one of his hips broken during the long night.
Role: Tyrion is the Lord of House Lannister, Warden of the West, and Hand of the King. He leads the small Council and sits the Iron throne when King Jon and Queen Danaerys are not present, and his word is considered to be the word of the King himself.
Equipment: Tyrion has hung up his Ax and shield and adopted a smooth wooden cane with a fine golden Lions head for a hand grip and a clubbed foot.
Skills: Tyrion is a master manipulator and is considered one of the most intelligent men in Westeros by those who can look past his disabilities. He is Also a big fan and avid player of Cyvasse, having won and lost against many of the great masters of the game.
Biography: Tyrion was born to Tywin and Joanna Lannister in 273AC, his mother died giving birth to him and this, along with his dwarfism, leading to long term animosity between Tyrion, his father, and his sister although his Brother Jaime became his closest friend. Tyrion has been all over Westeros from the Wall to Dorne and was always known throughout the country as a scholar as well as a whoremonger. During the early days of the War of the Five Kings Tyrion was falsely accused of attempting to murder Brandon Stark and was thus taken prisoner by Lysa Arryn in the Vale. Tyrion won his freedom through Bronn, a mercenary and close friend of Tyrion's for years to come.
Tyrion went on to become essential in the defense of King's Landing from Stannis Baratheon in the midst of the War and served temporarily as Hand of the King. He was later accused of murdering King Joffrey Baratheon at his wedding ceremony to Lady Margaery Tyrell. Because of this he fled the country to Essos where he encountered Aegon Targaryen and his allies and learned that they intended to put him on the Iron Throne. It was after Tyrion wandered off to a brothel that he was taken captive by Ser Jorah Mormont of Bear Island and the two set off to find Danaerys Targaryen in Mereen.
Jorah and Tyrion were captured however and sold into slavery and told they would have to invade Mereen and help kill the very person they set out to find. Thanks to Tyrion's quick wit and cunning charm he gained his freedom in the battle with the help of one of the Mercenary captains in the Slave camps. Tyrion went on to find Queen Danaerys and become a close, loyal advisor to her throughout her rule. He remained by her side during her return to Westeros as well.
Having helped her and Jon Stark defeat the long night as well as inheriting the title of Lord of the Rock from his brother, Tyrion was made hand of the king at Danaerys' request. Since then Tyrion has faithfully served the realm and offered as much helpful advice to the King as he could. King Jon, having remembered meeting Tyrion and the sage advice he had once offered him, accepting Tyrion and even went as far as to tell the dwarf that he respected and admired him. Tyrion was humbled by this and has sworn undying allegiance to King Jon even if it means the destruction of House Lannister.
Notes: Tyrion is hated by many, but also has many loyal friends across Westeros and Essos. Regardless of what their opinion of the man might be, everybody knows his name.
This is still a work in progress, I'll be uploading sheets for Jaime and at least one or two other major characters. @MrDidact hopefully this is good enough to be accepted for now though, if there are any discrepancies please let me know and I'll work them right out!
@Gowi Well Shireen and Edric seemed pretty good friends so that would seem in character for her. Having Gendry as leader of their armed forces would be neat too.
Your sheet is shaping up pretty well so far.
@Masterkeun Ah I see, yeah the Frey house is quite complicated so it's not reasonable to have you describe the whole surviving family but the significant story ones should suffice. There is definitely enough ambiguity to have other players come in as Freys if they wish. I like the details about Malkor trying to ally with the Mountain Clans. Should prove interesting.
I think all you need to do really is flesh out your mains, especially Malkor out a bit more and clean up the formatting and you should be good to go. I really like your idea, and it's no trouble to give you our input on it. Thank you very much for your diligence and understanding.
@Dredigan The only discrepancy I can see, is one of their holdings being listed as Darry. I had Darry be stripped from the House Lannister and given to a bastard cousin of the House Darry, since it seemed likely to me that House Lannister had to face some kind of fine for Cersei and Tywin's crimes and I think the River Lords would not have liked having Lannisters have land in their region. It also amps up the potential rivalry between the River Lords and the West a bit.
Other than that it looks fine and you can go ahead and put it in the CS tab and keep working on it. Really look forward to seeing what you end up with. Plus you're the Co-GM, you have certain privileges haha.
*fanboy mode* did Brienne and Jaime settle down and have kids?
Just wanted to say I've started my character ^_^ She's going to be a Theon Greyjoy bastard (obviously conceived before Ramsay turned him into Reek).
For equipment, do they have to be super specific? My character's more the pick up whatever she can find type, so while she may have a sword one day, the next it'd be gone.
@Greenie Interesting concept! I imagine it would be hard for Theon to do so after he became Reek :P
Your equipment doesn't have to be super specific unless you have unique and specialized gear. If it's just general gear, you can just mark the essentials. For characters who don't need much equipment at all since they're diplomats/money men/statesmen the equipment field can just be blank.
@MrDidact No problem I'll take Darry off the list. I'll have to make the revisions a little bit later because I've been reduced back to mobile for a little while.
Also to answer your question about Jaime and Brienne, I would like to keep that ambiguous until the start of the game, so long as you're willing to give me the right to determine breiennes story from the end of the novels? I can make a CS for her if you like but I didn't intend on using her as a major character.

Okeedokee! And yeah... lol. Poor Theon :'D
Mine's more a traveller, so she'll have some basic equipment. I best get busy with my sheet!
@Masterkeun The sheet seems to be really coming together, but if you intend for Malkor to be a POV he should have the same fields filled out as the others. I assume you're collaborating with @supertinyking for House Mudd, but are you also doing so with @bloonewb for House Bolton? I'm not really sure if the Boltons would be given a Frey hostage since they were collaborators, and why the Boltons would torture him.
@Dredigan All I have filled out about Brienne right now is that she's alive somewhere with a sweet new sword, and presumably she's head of House Tarth now since I don't know if there are any other heirs to Lord Selwyn. Other than that, yeah have free reign with her history from the end of the books, and I'm curious to see what you come up with!
@Greenie Did you have any interest playing other Greyjoy characters as well?
Malkor is an NPC. I assumed with the sheer number of Frey's one was given to every house. I am working with Supertiny, but I hadn't realized anyone was acting as the Bolton's and assumed they'd torture Malkor as they are best known for doing so. I'll Message Blooneweb to ask permission then change it if he disapproves.
Ah I see, that clears it up. Well the sheet implies Malkor was conditioned to hate the Tullys and Starks by the Boltons, but the question remains of why a house known as Frey collaborators would be given a Frey ward? Did the Tullys arrange the deal or did the Freys do so? And if the Boltons and Freys were allies in the past why would they torture him?
Ramsay was crazy enough to do that, but I don't know if the new generation of Boltons would neccesarily be as sadistic or random in their torturing. I don't think he needs to have been tortured to disdain noble families, being born a child of a house beset by scheming and violence would be enough.
