I'll be debuting a new character myself. Considering the timeline, I can't really use Sable. I'm excited about it though. It'll be awesome.

The events of this story precede the original Reqiuem. So, new character concepts for me as well. The battle system has changed from the previous one I employed, so with the core selection, it'll prevent from someone being too over powered or even under powered.

Definitely. As much as I enjoyed playing as John, I feel like I can really pull my head out of my ass and write an even better concept. Of course, I doubt that I will severely, but what's the harm in trying? I've had a year of practice to increase my writing skills (and also entered teenhood, yay me!), so let's do this shit.

As for the Aeon, I'll probably go Green and Colourless.

@Damiann47 - I wouldn't worry too much about the "outsider" degree. As the information and story received an overhaul and everything was re-written to give a more fleshed out and fresh impression. It is a lot of information, but well worth it in the end.

To be honest, I was in the previous Requiem RP but still technically feel like an outsider seeing as this is before the events of the first RP. Sorry if I gave you the wrong impression with the 'newcomer' thing.

I feel a little gross for having implied there is any sort of clique thing going on. I'm reading and digesting all the new information myself and trying to get in the right mindset. So far I have established absolutely nothing and I'm kind of sitting here like...._fuuuuuuuuck where to start? I remember it being quite a struggle last time, but as Rockette said, I think it will be well worth it.

To add a bit to what Rockette said, we're all new, essentially. The entire story was re-written, the battle system re-worked, and some of the mechanics re-done. The timeline, and the timeline alone, of the narrative puts it before the events of the last RP, but this one firmly stands on its own. No prior knowledge is necessary whatsoever.

I would suggest starting with the Aeon & Soldiers section. As this will help inspire character creation. From there, just glance over the world of Viera, to help further cement the origin of your character and perhaps inspire locations of your own.

I'm just polishing some bits on my character, and then I'll have it up, as I know it'll help in terms of reference and where to begin.
