Hey! Are you still accepting? I saw that you referred to 7 people so I'm guessing you are full? :)
@HushedWhispers
Been watching this since the interest check as I wanted to see where it was going. I hope this character is acceptable because I have never watched an MTV show in my puff.
Also, heads up, I think the CS code is broken around the quotes at the top. I fixed it in my sheet by... pressing buttons, but thought you might like to know.

Name:Casimir Lincoln LipiΕski
Nickname:Any shortenings of Casimir are viewed with mild irritation. No preferred nicknames, although he does tend to use Lincoln as a first name in his professional life.

Age:Twenty-Four

Sexuality:Bisexual
Relationship Status:(Recently) Single
Sexually Active:Yes
Occupation:Musician
Hometown:Juneau, Alaska
Ethnicity:Caucasian
In Depth Appearance:Casimir is 5'9" and has a vaguely athletic build, though is not particularly intimidating. He's always been known as a pretty boy: blonde hair, sharp grey eyes and flawless skin. He has no piercings and no tattoos, but several scars. Some of those are the side-effect of having an active lifestyle, one is from when he accepted a dare to get hit over the head with a chair, and the rest are mysterious and unexplained.
In general, Casimir dresses quite generically. It's not surprising to see jeans on a wannabe rock musician, after all. It is, however, clear that he has no idea how to dress for the Florida weather, and owns far too many turtlenecks and leather jackets to be comfortable in the heat.
Hobbies:β Piano

β Freezing to death.
Personality:Casimir is stoic to his very core, and he thinks that emotions aren't something to be let out of the mental lockbox in which they are stored. He is dismissive of those who wear their hearts on their sleeves and cry or complain in public. Vulnerability is a pet peeve of his. If one thing is certain, it is that he is not a shoulder you want to cry on. This stoicism extends to other social situations that he has always had difficulty with. It is difficult to make Casimir laugh. It's not that he doesn't find things funny, it's just that he doesn't show it other than through secretive smiles - and even those are rare. Is he humourless? Does he just not get the jokes? Close friends know that he's just deadpan, and his sense of humour is absurdist.
He is not heartless. His friend warned him, when he considered applying for the show, that, "They might give you a bad edit; you could be the bad guy." At the same time, however, it is equally likely that Casimir gets to show a more sympathetic side. He is helpful in quiet ways: feeding stray cats, turning on the coffee machine before anyone wakes up, looking out for drunken friends in case someone wants to take advantage of them. There are also extreme occasions when Casimir picks up trinkets and gifts that he knows a friend might like, or does something outrageously sweet (that is also out of character for him, according to those who don't know him). He doesn't expect thanks for it, or anything in return.
Of course, Casimir is also a happy, friendly drunk, and it's easy to convince him to do anything, including stunts that would be best done sober. Given how he loves a dare with or without liquor, danger is never an issue he thinks about. To that end, he's the life and soul of the party: the crazy guy who has no self-preservation instinct who just wants validation from friends.
Finally, Casimir isn't the smartest folk when it comes to stuff learned in school, but he's pretty astute when it comes to people. Although he downplays it, he's also a talented musician, and all that's holding him back is his own lack of ambition. He likes music for music's sake, like one of those artsy, creative types, and that's something he'll never admit.
Background:Casimir was born to first-generation Polish immigrants living in Juneau, Alaska. His mother spent most of her childhood in the United States, naturalized, but his father was a stubborn old man who migrated in later life - at age thirty - and even by the time his son was born would not speak more than a few words of English. That was one of the many rules of the household: if he was at home, he could only speak his father's mother-tongue. Of course, by the time Casimir was old enough to play outside, he was always outside, so the point was moot.
There was never much to do in Juneau, especially when it started getting dark so early. Casimir's mother tried very hard to encourage him to read books and do homework, but the only thing he seemed excited to study was for his piano lessons. Casimir was neither an academic nor a sporty kid. It was not that he was unathletic, but he never sat well on any sports teams, and was kicked from both his middle school's football and baseball teams for fighting with teammates. Skiing and snowboarding were preferable, because he didn't have to rely on, "Someone else not fucking up, because they always do," as he once said when he was thirteen years old. Casimir also spent three months in figure-skating classes (following his mother in interests) but his dad laughed him out of it, and shame is a great motivator.
He didn't have many friends as a kid for quite a few reasons. One - he didn't go to classes. Truancy was never punished. Two - he got in too many fights, mostly because of the chip in his shoulder, a mile wide, from being 'poor'. And finally, three - he didn't have an allowance to do fun stuff, like go to the movies or even buy lunch at school, so group outings were a no go. He was the unfriendly music kid who sang in the choir until his voice broke, liked by the music teachers for his talent but few others due to his disruptions in their classes.
If he wasn't alone, he occasionally hung about with some like-minded miscreants on the streets. They didn't necessarily like him at first, but they didn't tell him to piss off, and that was enough for him - especially since once they warmed up to him, he could get the occasional free beer. They didn't do much apart from breaking windows and sneaking into bars with fake IDs, but Casimir did meet his 'mentor' figure, Jason, who introduced him both to underage drinking and the wonders of the guitar.
Casimir's interest in music grew. Piano recitals became a thing of the past as he focused more on his own guitar, and a friend of a friend invited him to play a few gigs as a reserve guitarist when he was sixteen. Much to his father's dismay, this was his passion. He might have worked weekends at his dad's store, but he was always practicing on full volume at home. Admittedly, he could have been quieter, but since he was a confrontational kid who didn't like putting up with injustice, starting arguments with his father wasn't the worst thing that could happen. Eventually, he was kicked out of the house. He had favours to call in and couches to surf on until he was on his feet.
Life as a starving artist treated him well, but there was no way for him to grow his audience. Hence, his girlfriend at the time suggested he look into reality TV. He immediately consulted Jason, who tutted, and said that he'd have to play up a character. Casimir was well aware that his girlfriend wanted to be the eye-candy on his arm, but he was in a good mood. Who wouldn't be happy to go along with something that might involve a free move to one of the most vibrant cities in the USA? It was surprising that the interviews went so well, but he supposed anecdotes of "that one time I nearly froze to death in a blizzard" and other tales were exciting enough to get him in.
As to how he reacted to the news? Mild apathy. To some extent, it was just another job. Casimir always thought he would be good at drama and acting, and that it was a shame he'd missed out on it during high school. Everyone knows that "reality TV" is all carefully edited for maximum entertainment value. One final change taken just before he packed was breaking up with his girlfriend. The whole long-distance thing wasn't going to work out for him.

@HushedWhispers Hello! Wondering if there's a slot left?
I've been brought here by @MiddleEarthRoze, who I've been 1x1'ing with for a few weeks, now. She thought I might like to join in on this:)
@HushedWhispers
Hi!!! Sorry this took a little while, I hope it's acceptable :]
βAnd I get up because it is the only thing I can do.β
Name:Ambrose Louis Zelaya
Nickname:Rose, because it is a shorten version of his name and because of his occupation. Although Ambrose prefers if only close friends referred to him this way, as the nickname has been used in a mean-spirited manner many times

Age:21
Gender:Male
Sexuality:Homosexual
Relationship Status:Single
Sexually Active:In the past, yes
Occupation:Florist
Hometown:Detroit, Michigan
Ethnicity:Biracial - white father and African American mother
In Depth Appearance:Ambrose has a slender figure, and stands at a mere 5'5'' and has a sort of a baby face. However everything on him is a lean muscle, toned from years of track team and regular running. His skin is a tawny brown, with deep gold undertones. He doesn't have the best posture though, and is often slouched in attempt appear smaller and be less noticeable in general. Ambrose has a pair of deep hazel eyes, framed with dark thick lashes. His hair is a deep black with soft curls that rest on his forehead. His skin splattered with dark freckles, across his cheeks and back, and he has several small scars on his upper thighs as well as a couple deep, ugly scars on his torso.
The young man has no tattoos, although he has a couple in mind he wants to get someday. But he does sport a small septum piercing, other then that, Ambrose is pretty bare in terms of body modifications. He tends to wear monotone clothes, mostly black and grey with only pastel colors like mint green occasionally. The clothing pieces are usually loose and comfortable, although Ambrose is always seen wearing his favorite pair of high tops sneakers. Yet he is seen the most in his florist apron.
Hobbies:β Painting
β Photography
β Film Reviewing
β Running in the early morning for exercise
Habits:β Pulls all-nighters to finish a particular painting, messes up his sleep schedule for a week and barely functions on coffee the entire time
β Extremely fidgety, especially when anxious
β Doodling on every piece of paper he gets his hands on
β Smoking (Although this is a rare thing to witness as he only indulges when he is particularly stressed)
Likes:β Confusing art films
β Plants
β Dancing
β Rain and Thunderstorms
Dislikes:β Crowded Rooms
β High-pressure situations or high-expectations
β Airplanes/Airports
β Elitist Attitudes
Fears:β Fear of heights
β Fear of tight/small spaces
β Fear of running into the law
Personality:The first impression Ambrose makes on people, is a small guy who seems timid and socially uncomfortable. And this is true for the most part. Ambrose naturally shies away from the spot-light and likes instead to observe people from a distance (one of his favorite past times is people watching). He is a naturally anxious and cautious person, leading him to be un-trusting and suspicious of other people's motives. Most people who speak to him for the first time are met a with a guarded and tense conversation. Yet despite this Ambrose is more a follower and is easily pressured into activities he would't have otherwise done himself. He is non-confrontational and his goal is to keep the peace which is why he is easily influenced.
Because of his introversion, Ambrose is more focused on his own pursuits instead of relationships, like painting and photography. Both of which are passions he hopes to turn into a career someday. He is incredibly invested in the arts, but he is too afraid to quit his day job for a full-time career as an artist. He spends almost all of his free time painting, and has even had a couple successful art shows. Yet overall, Ambrose is still naive and unsure of how to further his skills and network successfully to make his break into the industry.
Despite his initial prickly exterior, Ambrose is quite affectionate to the ones who have earned his trust. A little emotionally needy, he is eager to please those have captured his affections. Ambrose has the habit of putting others before him, often neglecting himself for days on end. Yet romantic partners of Ambrose are disappointed with someone who is afraid of both emotional intimacy and commitment.
Ambrose also has an unexpected wild side, this is something he tries to hide the most as it has gotten him into many sticky situations. It really only comes out with drinking or anything else like that. When he is like this, he is more willing to take risks and tell people how he really feels. This is probably when he is at his funniest, sarcastic and even a bit flirty.
Background:Ambrose grew up in a cramped apartment, in the inner city that was wracked with poverty and crime. It was a daily part of his environment, to be unsure of if he would get dinner, and if he would even be safe considering the criminal activity. An only child with neglectful parents with a father who took his anger out on his family and a mother who drowned her sorrows with alcohol. They weren't really completely evil people, but they shouldn't have been parents. Ambrose had to grow up on his own, and his only escape from reality was through the arts.
But as he grew to adolescence, he became painfully aware of the expectations around him. To have a reliable job, to be tough and masculine, and so on. This, combined with involvement with the "bad kids", Ambrose fell down a slippery slope of petty crime. Eager to prove himself among his peers, the teenager began to deal drugs and even took part in a few (unarmed) robberies. He never had the intention to hurt people, and viewed it as a way to get cash for food and other basic essentials. But Ambrose also began nursing a drug addiction, thanks to easy access and pressure from his "friends".
Ambrose barely graduated from high school, and with rapidly deteriorating health, he soon realized he needed to take a good hard look at himself. He was a shell of the person he used to be, malnourished and a lost purpose in life. Ambrose knew he didn't want this life, and he knew he didn't want this life. So one day, he just got up and left. He forced himself to go cold turkey, he forced himself to face horrible withdrawals and cut ties with everyone from his old life. To them, Ambrose was now dead. He moved to a small town in Michigan and landed a job in a entry-level position in a florist shop. The owner noticed his hard-work and eye for design and with training, Ambrose was promoted to a florist. He has now worked there for a year, and has also been sober for a year.
Ambrose auditioned for The Real World as sort of a joke, he never really thought he would get past the initial application. He was pretty surprised when he got the call for further interviews. Yet he still held the belief he wouldn't get past this stage either, so he was actually semi-relaxed during the interviews. It was only when he got the call, actually offering him a place on the show did reality sink in. Ambrose was afraid, what if they dug up things from his past? What if he went down in reality TV history as the most annoying guy ever? Anxieties filled his head, so many things could go wrong for him. But eventually he decided it was too big of an opportunity to pass up, and Ambrose decided to accept the role.
Miscellaneous:(My favorite TV show is Buffy the Vampire Slayer)
@HushedWhispers Is there still a spot left? :3
@HushedWhispers I can probably get up a guy and a girl by tomorrow. :3
This took longer than expected.

Name:Ashanti Nicole Howard
Nickname:Shawn. Her entire family has been calling her Shawn since she was younger, which is just a shortened version of her first name. She'll introduce herself as such unless in a professional environment.
Date of Birth:January 15th, 1995
Age:Twenty-Two
Gender:Female
Sexuality:Bisexual
Relationship Status:Single
Sexually Active:Yes
Occupation:Bartender
Hometown:Brooklyn, New York
Ethnicity:African-American
In Depth Appearance:Shawn stands at a mere five feet, two inches tall. She has curves in all the right places; her waist is slim and her hips wide. Her muscles are well defined and toned, however, as a result of weekly strenuous physical activity. Her clear, glowing skin is the color of cinnamon, and her curly black hair falls just below her shoulders. She prefers to keep her hair in a braided protective style, allowing her hair to grow. There is a dull scar on her left eyebrow, which she tends to cover up with makeup.
Her eyes are large and almond shaped, the brown of the iris so dark that it almost appears to be black. Her eyes are fringed with long, thick lashes. She sometimes wears thick, black rimmed glasses solely because she thinks they complement her well. She has a perfectly straight nose, of which one of her friends described as a "Ski Slope," and perfectly arched, dark eyebrows. Her face is heart-shaped; she has high cheekbones and a pointed chin. Her lips are full and always covered with a clear lip gloss. When smiling, you can see that she has two rows of perfectly whitened teeth, a slight overbite present.
Shawn's style of dress can be summarized as "Urban Fashion," an edgy look that reflects lifestyle, attitudes and individuality. She prefers to go to thrift shops to find clothes that she can make into something new. Not being a big fan of flashy jewelry, you'll only ever see her wear a ring on her left middle finger, which was given to her by an old friend. She has helix piercings, conch piercings, tragus piercings, and lobe piercings in both of her ears. She has a septum piercing, as well. Shawn has a large number of tattoos covering her arms, neck, left leg, and a few more in hidden areas. She plans on getting more.

- Racism/Bigotry/Homophobia/etc.
- Chocolate Candies
- Waking up too early
- Crowded areas
- Country Music
Fears:
- Infinity
- Pain
Personality:Shawn is a seemingly calm and sweet girl, yet is by no means a pushover. She can very much take care of herself, but is smart enough to know when to pick a fight and when to let something go. She is someone who isn't weighed down by the troubles of everyday life, is not restricted by other people's opinions, and is always herself regardless of the situation. She craves adventure, thrills, and new things. Shawn is also very observant, and tends to notice things about her surroundings that others may not. It's very easy for her to read and/or figure out other people.
Having grown up with a large number of male friends and cousins, Shawn considers herself to be a bit of a "Tomboy." She'd much rather spend her time playing basketball or chilling with the guys than hanging out with girlfriends. Although Shawn prefers to keep to herself and stay quiet, when in a confident mood, she can be very charismatic and outgoing.
Shawn is confident in herself and her actions, often to a fault. She is very opinionated, has trouble asking for help, and hates admitting when she's wrong. When things don't go as she planned or in a positive direction, she can get frustrated very easily. Shawn has a bit of a "potty mouth," and uses profanity even when she isn't trying to. She also has a lot of trouble controlling her temper, and whenever someone pushes her to her limit, she'll snap; it will often result in her yelling a large number of obscene words, throwing objects, and even going as far as to get physical.
Background:Shawn was born in Brooklyn, NY. There she was raised by her single mother, Jasmine Howard, and her Aunt Tina. Her father, Terrell, left the picture before Shawn was born. Although the family lived on the "wrong side of the tracks," Shawn's guardians always worked their hardest to provide for their little girl. While her mother was working during the day as a waitress, her Aunt was working all night as a security guard. With their combined income, the family managed to pay the rent of their small, two bedroom apartment in full each month without the help of any other family members.
Shawn had a seemingly normal childhood. She had a nice handful of friends, always did her best in school, and even joined a basketball team during the Summers to keep herself in shape. By her Senior year in high school, Shawn was the star point guard of the girls' basketball team, had a 4.0 GPA, and had a pretty promising future. That is, until she met Terrance.
Terrance was your usual high school burnout, the boy who everyone knew was going to end up either working at Taco Bell, in prison, or dead by the time he was twenty-one. She met him at a party, and the two of them instantly bonded over their same tastes in music. Pretty soon, Shawn found herself cutting class, smoking weed, and getting into more trouble than ever before. Though their relationship was strictly platonic, Shawn could easily say that Terrance brought out the best and worst of her. It was with him that she realized how much she loved creating art or singing more than she enjoyed playing basketball. It was with him that she remembered what it was like to let loose and have fun again.
Against her mother and aunt's wishes, Shawn decided not to accept a Basketball scholarship to NYU. Instead, after she graduated high school, she got a job at a local club bussing tables. After taking a few classes, she eventually worked her way up to bartending. Every now and then she'll perform at the club with Terrance and his band in order to make some extra cash. She has not spoken to her family since she was eighteen.
It took a great deal of convincing for Shawn to finally audition for The Real World. Of course, being the laid-back, low-key person that she was, she wasn't so sure that she was ready for all of the drama. She was, however, eager to go on a new "adventure." Both Terrance and Shawn auditioned for the show. During the interview process, everything just sort of flowed for Shawn; she was one-hundred percent herself. She was very surprised once she got news that she'd been chosen to join the show and Terrance hadn't.
Miscellaneous:Grey's Anatomy is the greatest show ever.
