Shaw Psychiatric Hospital - Washington D.C.... Luck, be a lady tonight...Well, Lady Luck seems to be awfully fond of Ricky and Alex. No one gave them a second glance as they headed out of the supposedly secure ward, thanks to Ricky's surprising knowledge of the door locks. On the way out, they passed a rack that workers kept jackets on. Ricky grabbed one and put it on, knowing that it'd be freezing outside. Once they were outside of the facility, Ricky kept on walking until they made it to a coffee shop a few blocks over.
"I went to Sci-Tech," Ricky explained. It was the S.H.I.E.L.D. Science and Technology Academy - to get in the door, candidates needed to have at least one PhD. It wasn't uncommon for O.M.E.N. to have recruited from other agencies - in fact, it was rarer for an O.M.E.N. operative to
not have been involved in some other agency. "Switched to O.M.E.N. as S.H.I.E.L.D. wouldn't take threats like Hel seriously," he then admitted quietly. He then glanced at Alex, expecting that he'd have some sort of plan. He had broken them out of the asylum - what happened next was Alex's territory, as far as Ricky was concerned.
Sayuki Household - Boston, Massachusetts... Mallory didn't need to sleep. She had spent most of the evening attending to duties. If she didn't knock on the door of a person fated to die within a 10 mile radius of her at least three hours before their death...Well, it had only happened once in her lifetime and that had caused the rips in time to occur in Coventry. Her failing to perform her duties had created the temporal anomalies that fueled the wardrobe and ultimately killed Andromeda Aldrich.
"I'm well," Mallory replied, before she smiled like the Cheshire cat. She knew that Hel was after her cloak. Until this entire fiasco blew over, she figured it would be best to disguise herself as human. It would take someone looking at her closely to see past the true illusion and notice her form. As long as Hel didn't give her a second glance, she'd be fine. Yet she also knew that the cloak would call to Hel - it was rightfully hers, after all.
Kyasarin turned her head, looking at Jessica for a moment. There was a spark of hope in her eyes for a moment. "You can give it a shot, but I doubt it'll work," Kyasarin said frankly. "None of the doctors could fix it - the bones in my legs are completely crushed, shattered, whatever you wanna describe it as...They won't reform properly."
Coventry Horrors Hotel - Coventry, Massachusetts... "I'm not that type of abnormal," Folly explained. She was fairly confident that O.M.E.N. wouldn't hold her after she had answered their questions. While she had killed someone, they lacked evidence. And as far as Folly and anyone else was concerned, she was a perfectly normal human being. Sure, she healed a little faster than was average - but she was raised in the Circus. Everyone had to be a little bit stronger than the average human being to fit in.
"I think I'd just need to appear in some security footage or...or in the background of a news report," Folly suggested, frowning a bit as she thought it over. O.M.E.N. had to be scouring the area for evidence, right? They'd be watching every bit of digitalized data that came out of the place. However, then another thought occurred to her and she laughed a bit. "The guest registry!" Folly exclaimed, before running over to the hotel counter. She pulled up a gigantic book, filled with the check-in information of the guests. "Maybe one of the O.M.E.N. agents - Keenan - signed in and left a phone number?"
Jade Cornish
Location: M.I.T. - Boston, Massachusetts
Interacting With: O.M.E.N. Agents, Alec
@Peridot
Jade noticed Alex partaking in a rather Boston popular activity - day drinking - but she passed no judgment on it. As far as she was concerned, if she was awake, then it was an appropriate time to be drinking. The cab ride to M.I.T. was relatively uneventful - which suited her. There was plenty of excitement in this job without death defying cab rides becoming part of the package. As she got out of the cab, she considered Alec's question - but the other O.M.E.N. agent cut her off.
"If there wasn't, I'd be surprised," the agent admitted.
"Either way, it'll give us information on motive, as well as Hel's intentions," Jade said decisively. If Hel hadn't bothered to go clean up any possible evidence, then it suggested that Hel was either sloppy, egotistical, or she hadn't killed the physicist in premeditated murder. But given the description of the massacre at O.M.E.N. headquarters, Jade couldn't help but imagine the egotistical explanation was correct. Hel struck her as the type of person that thought they were the hero - and would ultimately always be the villain because of it.
She pulled up a rough campus map on her phone, before spotting where the physics building was located, and she headed in that direction.
"I don't technically have jurisdiction here - so if either of you would like to handle the badge flashing, that'd be grand."
Robin Ramírez & Aloise Zamora
Location: Room 307 - Hunter Hotel, Omaha, Nebraska
Interacting With: Mariana Garcia
@Nallore
Robin hit refresh and she perked up slightly, seeing that some responses have come in. In fact, not just one or two or three but
four people had responded to the advertisement. Two of them contained unsolicited photos and Robin wrinkled her nose, before responding to the other two and giving them the address of the Hunter Hotel. They could meet to do the exchange there. It wasn't like they'd be staying here much longer.
"We have two weirdos coming to bring us some fluids," Robin said cheerfully, grinning a bit. Aloise couldn't help but snort - she hadn't imagined that they'd have their choice of which spit they wanted to use. She had anticipated that they'd be lucky to get one response - but she supposed, this was what happened when the next generation of hunters came in. They changed everything, but the fights remained the same. It was the entire reason she was doing this - that way there wouldn't have to be hunters anymore.
"If we etch it, we need to make it look beautiful - if that makes any sense," Aloise explained.
"Then the rune can hide in plain sight, making her more likely to slip up." Of course, there was another part of the plan they needed to discuss - what they were willing to do in order to help Hel shut the gates of heaven and hell. Aloise was all in on this - she didn't know about the cousins, however.
On the news, Mariana will notice something potentially connected to Hel. A lot of government agencies are having their budgets cut for an "emerging emergency" reported by O.M.E.N. And already, the cuts have begun to take their toll. Some agencies have had to cut staff and security, with an organization called the Brotherhood already making a successful raid on the CIA.
