Wow. I was wondering how long it would take for a thread about JonTron and racism to bring up the "but feministsssss" angle and boy did it not disappoint.

@tanderbolt It's an accurate school of thought, more often than not. But you DO have a point that certain people in political power, may use lies for political gain. I'll admit, I'm being simplistic as possible, because I'm responding to something that's so ridiculous, a legit debate will never happen. So I just gave a general rule.

It's pewdiepie is a Nazi all over again. It's just more labels and hit pieces to ruin someone's career...it's PURELY money that made journalists want to cover this shit anyway. And I will point out again, that the first is a crime based statistic. That has things that back that up...excluding the issue of (what does that mean and how do we solve that?) and people's answers for it. That seems like it very well may be backed up by evidence...I'll admit, if I'm wrong. But...just assuming it's evil because it sounds bad. (or maybe outlandish at first glance.) Blinds people to things I think a lot of people are blind to...Actual Facts.

The fun thing about JonTron is that I guess he's supposedly part Iranian. Like his father or grandfather or something came from Iran, but not only that was a major force in Iranian nationalist politics pre-Islamic Revolution. So it's almost ironic he's obsessing over white-nationalism where if the people really into it dug into his background they'd get into ground where they could call him part of the "problem" per the "extermination" of the white race.

But really, X-identity politics is pretty shit, nationalism anything needs to be pushed aside. It's good to be proud, but don't drag it out to beat the war drum.

It's pretty insulting when you pretend you didn't say things that you very clearly did, just because they've backfired on you. This is a public forum. It's scummy enough when you do it where there's no physical evidence to demonstrate your backpedaling, but just short of you editing all your posts out, they're right there for everyone to see for themselves. Pretending you "didn't say" this or that is basically calling us illiterate, blind, stupid, or any combination of the three.

I hold the opinion that you can hold some bigoted views that could be seen as pretty close to racism but still not be an outright dyed in the wool racist. As Ive said multiple times I think that hes come upon this 'info' quite recently and hasn't really been challenged enough to make his mind up yet OR he could be a racist who just happens to be shit at debating, I don't know, I'm admitting I don't know, hence my use of the word possibly.

If you're delusional enough to think that a Polish developer primarily hiring Polish employees is somehow "White Nationalism," then it's an even smaller stretch that you think JonTron is racist when he expresses what you very clearly believe are "White Nationalist" views. He has said much more condemnable things than I did so in order to believe that I'm a WN and he's not, you'd have to be either lying to yourself, or, once again, ludicrously misinformed on how words work.

So why do you try to backpedal when you regret saying something ignorant? It doesn't work unless you alter/hide your posts. We can see what you said and you said he's a racist, both explicitly and through rancorous implications.

As for evidence, your refusal to acknowledge it does not mean that I was unwilling to provide it. You closed your eyes and to you that seems to mean it stopped existing.

They do have a correlation. Especially the journalist and the dozens of articles discussing them both in the exact same way. For the exact same profitable reasons. Though I'll admit they have differences. JonTron is not articulate and said some stupidly worded things in the process while Pewdiepie literally did nothing wrong...(though I guess if you want to debate that too, feel free.)

Just saying, I can guarantee there are more pressing matters at hand. And this only exists because the person is known...nobody, and I mean next to nobody is making a big deal of all the things Destiny said/or has said in the past. It's just another target...and once this one dies, another one will inevitably take it's place.
