Could you give us a preview of where we will start?

Like just hints and ideas, "In a strange ship" or "Looking at the desolated world from above". I'm thinking it will better prepare for the first post, as we can ponder how and where our characters will be to make an introductory post. It will save us some time.

@71452K Your intro will be a lengthy post leading into your character finding the pod, getting in, being put into automatic stasis and then waking up years later on the ship. I'll go into more detail soon but that's the gist of it.

I'm in California myself but I'm in the process of trying to move to Japan for a teaching gig hopefully starting this summer.

I haven't heard from our last one (Juicy) but I see myself able to kick us off this afternoon/tonight hopefully.

I haven't made Juicy's since she hasn't posted her character in the CS tab but when she does, I'll take that as her being "in" and make her one.

So now that we're all on board, I'll get started on my introduction and I'll also lay out how posts should look in terms of a nice uniform visualization. Don't worry it won't be anything complicated or time consuming. Expect the intro up within like...4 hours max, gotta find the right mood music and such.

So your intro should cover them finding the pod falling from the sky near by. It should also cover them getting in and being put into stasis via light blue liquid. 15 years later, they wake up. Time for those awkward introductions where characters try to find their true love...I mean find their arch rival...or something.

Thoughts should look like [i]'Thinking things...'[/i]

And speech should look like [b]"Saying things..."[/b]

Awesome, heard Japan is beautiful at this time of the year! (or well, all year round :P )

I'm from central Europe, Croatia, across from Italy. So we're around 7 hours apart if I remember correctly :D

@DracoLunaris, I actually found some post-rock mix on youtube for this occasion. Kind of felt that a summerish, post-rock vibe would be good for leaving the planet behind and finding oneself in an unknown area in space. :D
