How do you write when you have a writer's block?

I don't. It's part of why my book isn't finished.

However, to get past it I use music. Or if I'm struggling with what I'm writing, a more minor form of writer's block, I'll try writing it differently from how I was. Maybe more dialogue. Maybe less. Maybe more focus on the surroundings and how a character sees it and reacts to it. Maybe something to throw everything into a new direction.

And, of course, music helps me with the latter issue.

Also, like Reg said, feel free to respond to our PM for help working out ideas and stuff. I'm always happy to help.

Too bad Vera's all about brightness then eh? ;) I plan for her to develop her own unique style (like Zeke and his colour) if I can be that creative by then lol. Maybe she can turn those bright flashes into pretty sparkles, or contain them in orbs of light.

@Aiyanna Feel better soon! And I agree with the dorm pairing thing. Once more characters meet, things would probably get more exciting, especially if people keep pointing out Kanako's underwear problem to her, haha! It'll be hilarious if people like Kanako and Silas end up as dorm mates lol.

Hey folks. Sorry for the blackout. Turns out the hotel I was staying at had shite wifi. Hopefully the hotel (different) I'll be at the next two nights or so should have better connectivity. If not, it may be a little while longer until I rejoin the posting. For the Jideh gang, suffice it to say that I am keeping up with what's going on and will summarize Jideh's take on things. If it's no big deal, you can just assume that Jideh follows you guys, and doesn't have anything to contribute at the moment. I can't really do much more at the moment, except to say that when I have time, I'll be super generous.

Fortunately, Jordan can be in the John as long as I'm gone, so no problems there, but ideally he should meet up with everybody in the courtyard soon enough. Until then, try not to get into (too much) trouble!

I am totally down for the backstory with Catherine, and I think it will make things super awesome. So I agree with that wholeheartedly.
