I was under the assumption that Medea was interfering in the Trojan War (just as much as Atalanta is) and, the second one is actually because of the reason @Raineh Daze said. Atalanta probably knows where Jason made his home (he was the "star" of their shared legend, after all), assuming that the Witch would stick around there is natural (they were married for a time).

After all, by the time their legends ended, Atalanta was busy trying to avoid getting married until she got cheated using the same damn golden apples that descend from the one that sparked the Trojan War. She probably has limited knowledge of anything that was not a grand legend like Troy that happened after she got back to the boondocks Arcadia.

You can have Medea correct her IC. On both accounts. I imagine that she should be quite spiteful in relation to the Corinth comment.

That said, Masters really are extremely inconsequential to this concept as far as I've seen. More often than not, they limit a player's actions, instead of allowing them more options.

Yeah, it does seem like they're rather superfluous. Half the Servants have ignored other Masters anyway. Unlike a normal Grail War, they're not really a point of failure or trying to murder each other... xD

I mean, Marzikek is basically taking Roman's job, only actually present, so at least I know what she's doing here. The Master...

That's probably the most sensible approach, since I really don't see most, if any of the Masters keeping any important job in the story. Likely it'll require some fixing of the backstory, to accommodate to this change, but that's not something that we can't handle. Retcons are hardly unheard of at the Nasuverse, anyway.

Maybe, but I don't think that it's prudent to throw even more characters in an already slow moving story. More servants may help pick up the pacing, but there's the chance of bloating, so it's a bet. Though, I endorse the idea of switching around characters that aren't being used, or that the player doesn't want to use at the time. Like, say, the chance to switch Servants between missions (not that I think most here would use it but, it being there is already a plus).

Aight, well if there's a majority statement, I'm fine with retconning Masters out of the picture to streamline stuff.

Question is which Masters we keep and which ones we remove. Our Romani double should stay, but the rest is... Probably fair game.

I had also thought of the swapping Servants in/out thing between missions, but that comes after this first arc.

The Master basically has to be a foil to the utter ridiculousness of Servants and their general attitudes, so... there's that.
