As the hunter killer model T-800 booted up ,due to an electric overload one of the four nuclear power cells inside of it began to over heat as it stood. "System failure eminent, vent heat s-started" It said as the terminator's outer shell of fake skin began to melt and fall off in bloody chunks. As the chrome endoskeleton was slowly revealed sparks began to fly off as wires melted and its left arm began to fall off in a ball of electricity. Slowly the heat began to melt the chrome frame and charred the entire endoskeleton. After the big light show coming off the terminator came to a stop so did the robotic killer. It was still as if it was truly dead, the only sign of life coming off of it was the glowing red eyes and the occasional spark.@Assallya

Juno wasn't getting tired of this place and thought they should go somewhere else. He did notice they got closer to the tavern, however. He was still on Price's shoulder in cat form. He knew his friend was taking this one step at a time, he knew he was being weary in case a human made a mistake and got too close or something like that.

Price was still keeping his distance as he drew closer to the tavern. He then thought if he was gonna THAT concerned about humans, then maybe he should turn around and go somewhere where there aren't any. I think we should go somewhere else. He then turned around and began walking away from the tavern instead.

Viktor sighed as no one seemed to acknowledge him despite introducing himself along with everyone else. He just shrugged and began moving away from the tavern. Maybe something interesting will happen and hopefully come his way.

Finding nothing of interest in the tavern, Arin walked out into the forest and decided go around the tavern to explore beyond it. He had no idea what might lay ahead, but he wanted to find a way out of here and get back to his own world. For now, he just kept walking.

The elven girl scuttled backwards from what she thought of as a flesh covered iron golem. It's robotic form had begun shuddering and burning, sloughing its flesh and revealing what was little more than a metal skeleton with limbs twisted by exposure to the time vortex. It just remained still, red eyes burning.

"By all the gods, Ao to Umberlee, are you all right?" the beautiful blonde elf asked as she carefully approached the frozen form, "Is there anything I can do to help you?"

Deep down she was a fair bit disappointed. The monster before her had just lost most of its usefulness. A metal golem was impressive yes and could cut a swathe through just about any force but before, when it had been encased in flesh, it had been a more formidable force. Now it could scarcely get within a league of a castle without the smallfolk screaming, let alone walk through the castle gates looking human.

Even as a skeleton the thing towered over her and she gazed up into its glowing red eye, gently placing her hands to the metal skeleton's chest plate, caressing him.

"Is there anything you need? Anything I can get you?"

"Dat-t-te and lo-lo-location" it said with a static interuption. Slowly the metal skeleton started to move as if to see what all worked on its now charred form. Its optical sensors where beyond broken as it scanned the surrounding areas looking for an objective until it scanned the blonde elf. Its malfunctioning sensors where starting to mark her as the main target.@Assallya

"You're in Sembia," she answered him as her almond shaped azure eyes looked the golem over, "Just north of Daerlun. By Dale reckoning it's the year of Three Ships Sailing."

"Oh," she said, oblivious to its sensors, "you're much too heavy. I can't help carry you. You need a crutch or something."

Clapping her small hands together in delight, making the many brass and copper bracelets she wore clink against one another, she suddenly added, "I have a sword in the wagon. It could service you as a cane perhaps. Would you like me to fetch it?"

"Incorrect" it said as suddenly the T-800 one arm shot out making a grab for the elf's throat. If it succeeded it would very easily lift the blonde up with one arm slowly closing around her throat. If it missed it would be off balance and fall forward.

Assallya eyes had scarcely opportunity to widen as the metal hand moved like a viper and surrounded her neck. She instinctively screamed but the robot's fingers cut off any sort of attempt as he lifted her. Her bare feet cycled, windmilling beneath her and her many anklets made a clatter as she was hefted two full feet into the air. Grasping at the robot's wrist with both of her slender hands she couldn't so much as budge him. Worse, unable to speak, she was unable to cast spells!

By Myrkul's shrivelled black balls, she screamed inside her head, I was trying to help you you thrice cursed golem!

By all the gods, she couldn't breathe. Assallya gasped, lungs hacking as if trying to unlodge something from her throat. Her tongue protruded, stretching out in desperate search of air and finding now. She kicked at him, the golem, with her bare feet. She planted her soles on his thigh and shoving with all her strength but the metal skeleton of a man was unyielding. Her eyesight was blurring. She hurt everywhere...

The Terminators grip relaxed just enough for the blonde to speak as it said "Dat-t-te and location." as more sparks flew off of it. The severed arm started to move and spark as it slowly starts to crawl towards them.

Both brothers whipped around at a sudden flash of light behind them. Whatever it was, it seemed to have happened among the trees some distance off from the path. It was not too near to them, but it was not too far off either.

"W- What was that?" Sky muttered, beginning to tremble.

"I- I really don't know," Blake answered, fearing that it might be a potential threat. "Come on, let's get out of here."

With an arm around his brother, Blake picked up the pace as they continued along the path, until he was frightened by a jump and a short yelp from Sky.

"What's wrong?" Blake urgently enquired.

"S- Something hit my leg," Sky replied, backing away from what appeared to be a root of a large tree.

Blake watched in disbelief as the root seemed to slither across the ground, moving all on its own. He was then in even more of a shock when he looked up to find the branches of the surrounding trees swinging about in still air. He snapped out of it just in time to raise an arm and block one from hitting him right in the face, before raising walls of ice on either side of the path to protect Sky and himself from the attacks. Clearly terrified, the child had started to scream.

The ice walls were not going to hold for long. Blake had to act fast. Grabbing his brother by the waist, he bolted from between the walls just as they were smashed by some of the heavier branches and sprinted along the path while freezing in place any branches that got close to them. Thankfully, he only had to keep it up for a short time, as they had already been rather close to the edge of the forest. Emerging from the trees, Blake slowed to a stop before dropping Sky, his hands resting on his knees as he panted to catch his breath.

Sky then suddenly tugged on his sleeve to get his attention. "Blake, look."

The boy was pointing to a small building in the distance. If one looked carefully, they could see people coming from it. Imagining that it could possibly serve as shelter for the night, Blake decided to cautiously approach the place.

He took his brother by the wrist before they made their way towards the building. "We'll check it out, but stay close to me."

Bored, Viktor decided to leave whoever still remained at the tavern and explore elsewhere. He came upon some machine holding a woman by the throat. "Excuse me, but why are holding her like that?"
((Better?))

It finally dawned on the solid black werewolf, Joey began to look at the trees which seemed to be moving around. He sniffed the air to check for wind, negative. That had to mean the trees themselves were alive and were swinging their branches around. He came to a conclusion that he was hit by a branch in the side a few minutes ago. Did this mean he would have to fight a tree? (XD)

Suspended two feet from the ground, legs windmilling, small fists pounding upon the robot's steel forearm, Assallya's many anklets and bracelets were clinking together and making quite the racket. Hacking, desperately trying to cough or somehow get air she flailed futilely, her golden tresses a wild nimbus.

Assallya didn't even notice the young man who'd just arrived. All she could do was flail as consciousness began to leave her. With one final bit of effort every muscle in the young elf's body tensed, fingers twisted into claws, toes splayed and then nothing. Finally, her pounding upon his forearm with her small fists stopped, her blue eyes rolled back into their sockets, long eyelashes fluttering, and her head lolled forward with her protruding tongue caught between her black stained lips. She was dead. Her legs went limp, the flailing limbs now swinging slowly beneath her waist like two pendulums of a clock slowly winding down until finally her black painted toenails pointed towards the earth below.

"Subject T-t-terminated" the metal endoskeleton said as it turned to notice the new arrival. "Subje-e-ct locked" It said dropping the now limp body of the elf. Taking one step it said "System failure eminnnn..." it took one more step as it streched out the last sounds as it reached out towards the man, the red lights in its eyes slowly dying out as it shuts down its hand landing inches away from his foot.@Assallya@Letmehaveone2

Viktor raised his hands at the machine to blast it back a little. He wasn't sure about using his other powers, for one, it's a machine so not like it has blood to boil. Camouflaging? What good would that do? He just had to hope his force blast at least slowed it down a bit. When the machine shut down and landed inches away from his feet, he stopped and lowered his hands to his side. Well, I'm not sure what to do now.

Before Viktor was the strangled elf girl, whoever she had been, half naked in sheer silks and jewelry and sprawled out on the forest floor. She stared at nothing through long mascaraed lashes, dull lifeless eyes peering out into the darkness between the trees and was completely oblivious to the severed arm attacking him.

Viktor stepped back when the severed hand jumped toward him. "Okay then." He figured he could talk out loud to himself. It's not like dead people or things can hear you anyhow. He moved away from the hand and took a few steps towards the woman. Upon closer inspection, he saw she had pointed ears. "She's an elf." He wondered if she would've figured out his species as well, if she wasn't dead of course. Should he just leave them there or find someone who could revive them?

It had of course been too much to hope for that the guy with the demonic arm, approaching him, would have stayed back as he told him to. None ever listened.
At least he didn't step up to him and thought he could somehow help, or worse, attacked him, those that attacked never lasted long.
This guy instead clapped his hands together, Enormel could feel some form of energy building around the newcomer and as the guy brought his palms to the ground he could sense the energies flowing out around them.

-Not magic, but not a mental power either... Give it to me! Lemrone tugged through the protective spell coursing around them as walls of dirt and stone sprung up in a circle, trapping the other guy with them. Both Enormel and Lemrone stopped dumbstruck for a moment. This guy was an idiot.

-"Strengthen your spell, or allow me to try and help. I have closed us off to prevent others from seeing."-

...
As Emlem stood staring he didn't notice the robotic figure landing on the wall above them.
...

All three things the boy said made Enormel question his ability to assess situations, and Lemrone was laughing deafeningly inside his head.
Strengthening a spell when the power and energy fueling it was working against you, wonderful idea, like stating the obvious.
How exactly did he plan to help, by offering himself as food?
Preventing others from seeing if anything made it harder to keep Lemrone from taking control.
As his power was still laughing with abandon Enormel saw a chance, if he didn't use it, it would mean giving in to Lemrone.

-Many'd have to die. So I'll refuse. Enormel said, casting his arms out fingers spread, he could feel the ambient energies around them.
Chemical energy holding living things together and keeping them alive, heat permeating everything, life-force of living things, spiritual energy leaking from some astral plane. Electromagnetic fields all around, and everywhere magic, like it was an integral part of the world they were in, elemental power was almost radiating from the night. There were also energies not as easily classified or harnessed, weak divinity, and conceptual forces flowing through and in between the rest. This has to be enough

As his fingers began tapping and drawing lines and symbols in the air, the spherical hull of the protective spell started rippling, wisps of darkness casting their unlight upon it. Suddenly a shock went through Emlem and the spell they had been upholding burned away. A faint mist of energy around them.
-... You're giving in? We'll take their powers and SURGE! Lemrone screamed inside of his head when he was no longer bound in the spell. Enormel could feel his power gather in anticipation. It would be a gamble.

-Waas Ha gheels abernaft twos mer krima noerla. ALL IS OURS! Enormel breathed out.
His head rocked back and his eyes and mouth opened wide, wisps of darkness burning from them. A shock could be felt through the air, like the beat of an enormous drum. And then energies started coursing towards Emlem, those attuned to magic would feel as if the mage had suddenly become the center of a mealstrom. Others would feel a breeze blowing towards him, making the trees sway in the wind. The grass around them withered as it's very life was sucked from it, the same happened to insects and other weak life, temperature dropped rapidly.

-Ahahahahaha Wahahahaha! More. More. Give me MORE! Lemrone's voice could be felt rather than heard, a telepathic sound radiating through the energies flowing towards them. He was so lost in the savage joy of taking every filament of energy inside themselves he didn't notice how Enormel weaved the remnants of the protective spell. The fact that he was separating the active part of Lemrone together with the new energies hidden by the chaotic tide.

Pressure was building in Enormel's head, the act of taking in so much energy so quickly made him feel ready to burst, but he had to drown Lemrone in it before stopping. When he felt every fiber in his body and every strand of his spirit burning in pain he fell down hard on his knees. Gasping for air as wisps of power twitched through his skin. It had only been a few minutes but his mind was convinced it had experienced years in agony, and it still was. Containing all this new energy took every bit of concentration and focus he had, even with the help of the reversed protection spell.

-Your wall would not have been enough. Enormel said. He was sweating and looked half dead of exhaustion. At the moment he was as helpless as a newborn child. A newborn child possessed by a monstrous demon.

It seemed that Aion had been idiotic in those moments, throwing caution to the wind. Truth be told, the white haired youth now knew, as he looked at Enormel, that he would not have been entirely capable of helping the man. However, the man before him didn't know of one key trait that Aion possessed..Adaptation. As he had began to call on the energies around him, Aion's foot slid backwards.
'..He seems to draw on the energies of the world. Too much to adapt against..I would need to at least have a few moments in between each energy to adapt.'

He was a small fish in a bigger pond, but at least he had the sense to adapt against the pull he felt at his life-force, and to be warned against the voice that rippled through his mind, through the energy around him. Considerng the grass and insects around him were dying, that made the most sensee. And as Enormel/Lemrone drew in life, there would have, after a minute, been none being pulled from Aion. While there were no physical changes, due to the adaptation not being a physical change, anyone with an attunement to the arcane arts would see that the flow of spiritual energy that many beings would be seen with, or the presence of spiritual or magical energies, was masked, as if Aion had withdrawn it into himself, or locked it away. (Confusing, I know. Let's just say he made it to where his life force isn't able to be taken easily.)

Faintly, he could feel the presence behind him, the smell of rocket fuel unfamiliar to him. He kept his eyes trained on Enormel, as he spoke.

"Forgive me for the loss of caution." The Demon Armed youth spoke, his golden eyes glowing slightly from his use of adaptaton. "Is the..presence..controlled now?" He was referencing Lemrone, not knowing what or whom was...inside..the other being. It was dark, no doubt, and very likely a well of power.

Not a word was said as the brothers strode closer to the strange building, until they passed by a long-haired young man with a white cat on his shoulder. Blake had barely acknowledged them at first, but noticed that they had caught his brother's attention. It was apparent that the boy had taken interest in the animal.

Not wanting to risk any trouble, Blake tugged lightly on Sky's wrist, which he was still holding on to. "Sky, don't stare."

"Sorry..." the child muttered in reply, shifting his gaze to his older brother's hand around his wrist. That was when his eyes widened in dismay as he spotted something wet, and red, running down Blake's arm to his hand.

"B- Blake..."

"What is it?"

"You're... bleeding..."

The elder's head snapped down to look at his wrist, only to find his brother's statement to be true. He immediately let go of Sky's wrist and pushed his own sleeve up, discovering that he had been bleeding from a cut along his forearm, and that the fabric that covered it had also been sliced through. He remembered blocking the very first attack from one of the moving branches in the forest with his arm. That must have been what caused the injury. How had he not noticed it until now? Again, he was probably too caught up in other worries to have realized it. Muttering a curse under his breath, Blake then focused on the wound, forming ice over it in an attempt to stop the bleeding.

Price suddenly stopped in his tracks when he smelt something he should NOT be smelling. "Juno... I think we should move a bit faster." With that, he quickened his pace to get inside the tavern. Once there, he turned to shut the door, but there wasn't one. Fang it.

Juno turned to see two humans walking by and jumped off his friend's shoulder. I'll be right back. He ran up to the kid first and sniffed. Clean. He then went up to the older guy and looked up at him. Sure enough, there was blood on the guy's wrist. He didn't wanna scare the kid, but he had to think something to the older one. You might wanna get rid of that a little faster. He stared straight at Blake, hoping he would get the message.
