He probably wouldn't have told anybody his identity. He wouldn't have lied he probably would have just said he wasn't ready to give that information yet. He likes tinkering now and probably would have helped in fixing up the HQ if he was allowed.

He'd probably answer any simple questions that don't allude to his identity. His if it was how he got up to the hero games he'd tell some story about looking up to heroes of the past like Green Arrow and Arsenal and deciding to follow in their footsteps.

You didn't reference it at all. The information was presented but there was no indication whether she knew or did not know so I asked to be sure.

I thought my question was fairly self evident. "Is she aware of how she got her powers" In my experience when you ask how someone got their superpowers you are referring to the event that precipitated it not the source of it. So if you asked the Flash how he got his powers the answer wouldn't be "Speed Force" it would be "I got struck by lightening and dowsed in a specific combination of chemicals". Maybe that's just me, I do have a tendency to make jumps from A to B that seem obvious to me but leave other people thinking "how the hell did you get there" so if what I was asking was unclear I apologize.

I mean why not. Blüdhaven's gotta be safer for Gloria than Gotham and she's always wanted to see the rest of the country.

What do you think Blüdhaven would look like in the Beyond era? I don't think it was ever seen or mentioned in the cartoon or comics so (as the only RPer resident) you have a certain amount of creative freedom over that area. Unless @Member 00492 wants to do something with it.

@ProPro I just had a great idea. Carmelita is basically stuck in a world of slow time because her mind processes at the level of a speedster but her body doesn't. I was thinking that maybe at some point she gets fed up waiting for the Speed Force to deliver her from this existence and she turns to Velocity 9 to remedy her situation. Depending on the version of Velocity 9 used in universe that could go a number of ways. Probably the version with side effects would create the most drama. Whatever you want to do with that idea, or not is cool. Just a thought I'd mention it.

Don't tell me your character is shy only to have them spitting one liners and flirting with girls. Or tell me they're not intelligent only to have them trying to form plans in-game like it's second nature.

And I agree this should help us have more of an idea about how we should feel about each other. I'll go ahead and edit mine into my CS. I was gonna be the hothead while R2 was gonna have the more logical thinker. If we were basing them on actual DC characters, my guy would be Ronnie Raymond to R2's Jason Rusch [that only makes sense if you're into Firestorm I know...].

Personality is one of those things you want to be lengthy, though. That means a stronger sense of development and better understanding for people who are reading it fresh. Contradicting the recorded personality is an entirely different dilemma altogether.

In my experience, you should be able to sum ANYTHING up in a few words, even if 'complex' is one of them. I've taken to doing it that way because I've seen potential recruits write three paragraphs about their character's personality... and that usually always contradicts itself. Again, don't even bother putting down 'shy' if in a longer description we get 'shy, but opens up to people he's close with' cause that sorta thing would go without saying.

There was once a troll who'd I'd let apply to RP's once in awhile, I feel bad cause he followed me here from another site... but for a Spiderman: Spiderverse RP he insisted his bio, personality, etc. couldn't be brief [mind you three paragraphs counts as an Advanced level post and most of my RP's are Casual level] or summed up in fewer words. I was basically told "If you can't read 6 paragraphs for Personality and another 8 for a not so brief bio then I won't apply..." And again... this was for a Casual RP.

You can take ANY character, hero... villain..., and sum up their personality in a few words. Try it? Superman - loyal, trustworthy, brave, calm, and old school. Batman - paranoid, calculating, distant, complex, privileged. Joker - creepy, dark, misunderstood, methodical, anxious...

Terry McGinnis/Batman

Name: Terry McGinnis
Alias: Batman
Experience: Three years and two months
Hometown: Gotham
Age: 21
Powers: None. However the bat-suit gives him enhanced attributes and a variety of weaponry and tools.
Weaknesses: He's just a guy in a super durable multi-million dollar bat-suit. His mind and other senses can be attacked and now he no longer has Bruce Wayne in his ear.
Reason for joining Robin?: Terry is honoring the memory of his brother by keeping his team together and training them when not in school or on a mission with the JLU.

BRIEF Bio: In the beginning, Terry lost his father. Shortly after he became Batman with the guidance of the original, Bruce Wayne. Terry lived with his mother and younger brother until he was out of high school and got an apartment of his own. The last fourteen months he'd been living the dream, going to college, and being a member of the Justice League. Everything came crashing down when an enemy of Wayne's brought up the connection to the Batman Beyond Project. Terry got the DNA test, but Bruce didn't have the answers Terry was looking for and Amanda Waller was in as bad condition as Bruce Wayne. The two had a falling out and Terry operated as Batman without Bruce for three months. That was until Bruce found proof he had no hand in the Project and was unaware Waller and a splinter cell of Cadmus swiped his DNA.

Four months ago Wayne's health took a turn for the worse. While he was still of sound mind and body he signed his remaining fortune and stock in Wayne/Powers over to Terry.

Six weeks ago Matt McGinnis found out his brother was Batman and that their father was somehow Bruce Wayne. He did this by hacking an old email account of Terry's that he used to frequently send messages to Maxine. Realizing he could be a hero loved by millions Matt made a Robin suit and the rest is history.

Terry is still grieving the loss of his fifteen year old brother and his mother is taking it exceptionally hard. To get his head right he's taking time away from the League to train the Titans as well as help his mother in times of stress. It's one thing to lose an ex, it's another thing entirely to lose a child.

Notes:

* Obviously I've used bits of continuity from here and there. Still no clue who gave the info to Terry, that will be a sub-plot for much later.

* The JLU in this is greatly influenced by the cartoon interpretation as well as the JL Beyond 2.0 comic some time after. Members include Superman (Clark Kent), Barda, Warhawk, Aquagirl, Micron, Green Lantern (Kai-Ro), Capt. Marvel (Billy Batson), and Starfire. They're based in Metro-Tower in Metropolis.

* Most people are familiar with the show so the most of the continuity will be used from that. Stalker will come into play down the road. As well as another original enemy inspired by one of Batman's rogues.

* You know what I don't remember ever seeing in the Beyond Universe? ANY mention at all of ARKHAM. I think that should change soon.

The original Asylum was partially demolished and allowed to fall into decay sometime before the 2030s as seen in Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker. While the Asylum itself didn't feature in Batman Beyond there was an episode in the first season in which Terry referenced it. It was a passing comment to one of the villains, something along the lines of them "needing a place in Arkham". The context seemed to indicate that the Asylum was still active and used to house the criminally insane. I'll see if I can find the specific episode and quote when I've got some time.

It was a little more durable than standard fabric, but no. His suit was homemade. And with 3D printing being a thing now, I'm sure in the future it's perfected.

The biggest thing he had in his arsenal was a bo-staff.
