*She thinks for a moment making sure she picks her questions carefully*

*Iris looks scared for Hanna but isn't going to try and stop her*
*She instead helps Mergoux up onto a couch, then sits across from her silently. Anxiously drumming her fingers on the arm-rest*

*Horus comes out of the gym and goes to take a shower, then head towards the main room*
Horus: Hello? What's going on here!?

*Lecter nods*
Lecter: Devils earn their name. They will kill civilians without batting an eye, and it's not always a quick death. Or a clean one. Going unchallenged, hundreds of lives, if not more, can be lost because of a single Devil. I've earned plenty of scars when I sent them back to Hell, and I expect I'll earn a few more. *Karma gets bored of being outside and flies back into the main room through the window*
*the bird angles one of its talents towards it's beak and sniffs the blood on it with curiosity*

*Horus sees the bird and holds out one arm, calling out a falcon-like cry that basically is calling Karma over to him*

*Iris hears this, leaps over the back of the couch and runs to him, hugging him tightly around the waist*

*deciding to entertain his call, Karma answers it with her own before flying onto Horus' arm*

*Horus cocks his own falconish head at Karma*
Horus: Well who do we have here?
*Iris shudders and hides behind Horus, arms still wrapped around his waist*

*The falcon gives a half hearted cry before going back to cleaning her bloody talons*

Hanna: O-ok second question. H-how did you get h-here?

*Hanna has eased up a little*

*Lecter shakes his head*
Lecter: I'm still figuring that one out. I suspect a certain Devil has put me here, trying to toy with me. I've been hunting him a long time, can't be surprised that he retaliated.

Hanna: O-ok. M-my last question. W-what is y-your bird? A n-normal bird c-can't talk, l-let alone, b-break my skin...

*She doesn't seem to happy as she finishes her sentence*

*Lecter sighs slowly*
Lecter: A good question. Karma is my familiar. She is bound to me, and serves me how I see fit. I suppose you could call her a Devil, but she has changed a lot from when I first met her.
*The Devil Hunter leans forwards slightly*
Lecter: Now it's my turn. Hanna, are you a killer?

Hanna: K-killer? N-no! I don't want t-to kill anyone!...

*She rubs her shoulder*

Lecter: The question wasn't if you wanted to. It was if you were a killer. Have you ever killed? Even on accident?

*Hanna looks away and silences herself*

*Lecter opens the door to let Hanna out, and he nods to her*
Lecter: I told you that you could trust me. I recommend you keep what you learned to yourself, a sign of mutual trust.

Hanna: A-alright...

*She hurries out into the main room then hugs Iris from behind*

Hanna: ...

*Lecter retrieves his blades and raises an eyebrow at Horus and Ksrma*
Lecter: Making new friends? I suppose she trusts you, Horus. A good sight.
*A hint of amusement is in Lecter's gray eyes*

*Jillian frowns, and lets Lecter handle talking to Hanna. She rolls herself another cigarette, and lights up.*
*Silently drinks her water, and watches the sky through the kitchen window.*

*Outside, a small craft black crashes in the treeline, and a explosion of purple flame erupts from the location.*

*Iris turns and hugs Hanna tightly*
Iris: Are you okay dear?

*Horus nods and smiles*
Horus: An impressive bird. You're lucky to have her.

*Mergoux twitches, her sensitive ears picking up the slightest noise from the crash. She doesn't recognize it, but doesn't want to investigate with the shape she's in*

*She groans quietly as she realises she hasn't eaten in a while*

*She slowly breaks away form Iris*

Hanna: I-I'll b-be right b-back...

*She toddles of to the library*
