Heather

Location: Silver mines
Interacting with: Robin @McHaggis, Kosara @rivaan and Abe @Nallore

Heather nodded and started leading the way. She nervously looked at the knife in her hand. The man had given it to her, but Robin seemed oddly nervous about her holding it. She had to admit that she didn't particularly want to be holding it either so she thanked him and handed it over.

When the came to the first split in the path she took the left path, remembering Jenna had said that she had never been straight why start now. Heather could relate. With what Kosara said Heather's heart skipped a beat. She was not ready to die. She shared a look with Robin, then nodded at Kosara. "Please just don't leave me there."

At the next split in the path, Heather paused. "I don't know where they went from here." She shined her flashlight trying to see if she could find footprints or some sign of which way they went. Then she noticed what looked like a fresh disturbance in the soil. It wasn't much, but she was fairly certain the girls had gone that way. "Wait, I think they went this way." She shined the flashlight into the small crevice that she almost hadn't noticed. She frowned, uncertain if they would even fit.

Finley Alestair

Location: The Lake

Finley mock waved goodbye as Miranda walked away. "You mean our illustrious police department that couldn't find a hidden room where Riley was being held? I won't hold my breath. But, hell, why don't I call them for you? They don't like me anyway, may as well give them the boot to finally get their sorry asses going. While you pout about some random person not liking you, I'll be over here trying to solve a kidnapping and a murder. See ya!"

Finley walked away with Declan and let Olivia handle Miranda. She didn't care if Olivia didn't blab, she invited Declan and Olivia alone. No one else. Finley didn't even have to include Olivia into it, but the girl was proving to me cool, so Finley did her a solid. And what did she get in return? A slap in the face. "It's more to it than that Dec. I don't much care if Miranda is here or not, I don't have to like it though. It's Olivia feeling she can invite anyone into what we are doing. I only invited you and her because I trust you both and feel you have my back. I don't with Miranda. I'm not sorry to see her go, but if Olivia convinces her to stay, it's no skin off my bones."

She was glad to see her cousin, and glad that everything seemed to be a little bit better. That child's laughter was gone, so that seemed to be some improvement for her. That kid was really creepy, even though she was positive that he wasn't actually a kid, how could he be in this place and an actual child. Lydia definitely preferred Robert, and was hoping that he wasn't in the cave anywhere, and that wherever he was, he was safe.

Hearing Jenna's words, she nodded her head. "Yeah, I've watched more than my fair share of horror movies... Splitting up, especially when it is just the two of us, is definitely not the way to go... That would be asking to get killed, since the other wouldn't notice a thing... I trust your judgement Jen," she said, following her down that pathway. She looked over at the mine cart, hoping that whatever thing was causing all of these problems, that they didn't have to get in that old thing, since they'd probably get killed. This was an old abandoned mine though, so she was pretty sure they wouldn't have to do anything with the mine cart, there probably were a bunch of different paths they could take away from where they were.

Jenna Westbrook

Location: the Silver Mine

Jenna saw the ghosts aimlessly drifting, wondering how exactly they had died. She figured that it had to be some sort of mine collapse. Those sort of things tended to happen in mining towns. People went into the mines for an ordinary day's work and never were seen alive again. Those first twenty four hours after the collapse were critical - anyone not found then would end up dead. There was no more chilling laughter and she wasn't certain if that was a good sign or not. "Lydia...I'm leaving Red Lake after this all is over," Jenna told her cousin quietly.

"I'm going to go meet my birth father and then I'm running away...I'm almost an adult, so I can work as an aide to a private eye somewhere...Get my license after that," she told her cousin. "You're the only one I'm going to miss, I think...Declan and Finley, they hate me now. So they're dead to me." She then stopped talking, just continuing to walk forward down the path.

Miranda Burke

Location:Red Lake. Interacting with: Olivia, Declan and Finley:

It was easy to forget just what Olivia was because despite getting into her car after being threatened and shutting the drivers door and then getting ready, Oli had already caught up and stopped her from leaving. Yes it was irritating and Miranda was pissed and if anything was getting more agitated as the situation got on. “Don’t go? You heard what that bitch said right? Oli she threatened to personally make sure im the next one found dead, and yet it seemed you and Dec weren’t even bothered about it. If she threatened to kill one of you two I would of lost my shit and stood up for you, even if you two can handle yourselves.”

Miranda sighed as she sat in her seat still, of course the door was opened because Oli had stopped her from leaving, resting her hands on the steering wheel, the blonde was deep in thought, still looking at finley with hate in her eyes. “How do you expect me to stay here and help you find Riley when I got to keep more of an eye on her not stabbing me in the back the first chance she gets, I wont be much good in your search if I’m dead.” If truth be told she just wanted to be gone but had an internal battle going on as she really wanted to be able to find Riley. Miri took the keys out of the ignition but still didn’t make a move to get out of the car. “I’ll still be reporting her ass, she wont get away with making a death threat and i'll report it to someone much more competant than the sheriff office.” She replied then looking at Oli.

Abraham Serafin

Location: Silver Mine
Interacting With: @rivaan Kosara, @Kirah Heather @McHaggis Robin, @Morose Jenna & @BlueSky44 Lydia

Abe did not like the idea of the girls as well as the rest of these kids going down here all by themselves, he looked over towards the girl named Heather for a moment as she led them further into the mine. Seeing the small crevice that Jenna and Lydia had gotten through, it was small but they would all be able to go in one at a time. "Just stick together." Abraham said as he slowly pushed through nearly crawling as he grunted a little bit. He was really getting to old for this right now, as Abe finally got himself through the other end, Abe looked at his Niece. "Just make sure the kids get out of here right away if things get really bad." He told her, Abe started to make his way down a little bit further.

And then he could pick up Jenna and Lydia's voices a little bit and started to make his way further down until he finally caught up with the two of them. He looked visibly worried for he, he did like her as a second granddaughter to him. "Why didn't you two wait outside of the mine?" Abe asked looking directly at Jenna, sighing a little bit. "Well we are pretty far in now." Abe said as he started to walk forward again, deeper into the mine and avoided as much as he could from rocks and making sure he wouldn't end up tripping. Then they all would start to get the sense that something evil was down there, like a cold chill running up their spines he looked at Heather. "Give me the knife will you?" Abe asked her seeing there was a little bit of light at the end of the mineshaft now coming from a few torches.

"I know Oli did mess up with bringing her over with us, it would be tougher to protect the two of you." Declan said while also listening in on Olivia's and Miranda's conversation a little bit as well, before turning his attention back over towards Finley. "But we are all here for the same goal looking for Riley, she's somewhere in this town if Riley convinces her to stay then we have to work together, if you don't trust Miranda, at least trust me." Declan felt bad for not trying to defend Miranda as well, it was really hard to choose between the two women he was very close to the both of them.

Olivia sighed as he leaned forward looking over at Miranda, she could understand why she was threatened as well. "I get that, and you know I always got your back Miri." Olivia said giving her a smile. "And if she threatens you i'll threaten her as a werewolf it's very scary looking." Olivia said, smiling a little bit she never really shifted in front of anyone but when she was in wolf form getting a drink of water from the lake or something seeing the reflection it was scary looking when she bared her teeth. "What do you want to do? Head back into town, or search around the lake for any clues?" Olivia asked her.

Kosara Koleva

Location: Silver Mine
Interacting with: @Nallore Abe, @Kirah Heather, @McHaggis Robin,@Morose Jenna & @BlueSky44 Lydia

Getting into the mine was the type of thing that she as a hunter had to do every once in a while... in other words getting into the nest of the things they are hunting. It was a really weird to use a silver mine for one though. Silver was a purity metal, most creatures didn't handle silver well, sadly some of hte exceptions to that rule were demons, would have been hell of hilarious if this had been a rock salt mine though. Would be also really easy to seal them in, but it was not so...

As they caught up to Jenna and Lydia, Kosara frowned at first, then sighed and let Abe do the talking. She kept her eyes and ears open, trying to catch any signs of what might be an ambush. She had a good old sword to chop any demon that might show up. Even if it doesn't take them out, it was damn well slow them down. What's more she could always perform impromtu exorcism if she had to.

"You guys saw anything before we caught up?" Kosara finally asked the two that had stupidly hurried on inside the mine alone and probably unarmed against demons. such a stupid thing to do, she couldn't blame them for wanting to find their friend, but they could at least do so sensibly and not hurrying to death without preparations.

Heather

Location: Silver mines
Interacting with: Jenna @Morose, Lydia @BlueSky44, Robin @McHaggis, Kosara @rivaan and Abe @Nallore

Heather shot Robin a whithering look when he mentioned getting trapped in the caves. That was not something she wanted to experience. She wrapped her arms around herself when they finished climbing through the crevice and found Jenna and Lydia. She was proud that she had been able to find them.

Now Abe had the knife, which she was okay with. He was the most adult out of the group. Yeah, Robin was older than Heather, but he didn't have it together as well as Abe appeared to. She didn't mind if Robin or Abe had the knife. As long as it wasn't her. She gravitated toward Robin. "I'll leave when you want to." She whispered that, but what she really meant was she wanted to leave. She had dirt smeared on her face and dust from both the deserted house and now the caves.

"...Why doesn't it surprise me that you want to get out of Red Lake so badly?" Lydia said, giving her cousin a slight smile. It wasn't too surprising, she was honestly looking for a chance to get out of the small town, even if she hadn't been there for nearly as long as Jenna. Sometimes that made her wonder how her cousin dealt with that, now she knew why, she had just been looking for a chance to leave, and now she had one. "I'll miss you too Jen, but I totally get you wanting to get out of here."

When she saw Abe, she was kind of relieved that someone else was coming into the mine to kind of help deal with whatever the hell was going on. This sort of thing was a bit strange to her, she had no idea what Jenna had been planning on doing if they had found the demon or whatever, so someone knowing more about stuff like that was definitely a plus. She didn't respond to his question about why they didn't stay outside the mine, preferring if Jenna would actually respond to stuff like that since she didn't really know the answer to that question.

Finley Alestair

Location: The Lake

Finley hated being put in this position. She didn't care about Miranda, but she didn't want Olivia or Declan to leave. She rolled her eyes at his words. "Of course I trust you. This sucks all around. Whether or not she stays, I'm not standing around sulking. I want to search. Hopefully, something happens soon."

Finley began to walk towards the lake, opposite Olivia and Miranda. If they wanted to pout and go away, it was no skin off her bones. This was an adult situation and required adult thinking. She almost sympathized with Jenna now, understanding her own reasoning. Perhaps she will call the girl later to apologize. For now, she had clues to find.

Jenna Westbrook

Location: the Silver Mine

Jenna nodded at her cousin, indicating more or less that she didn't want to talk about this now that Abe was there. He would probably try to stop her from leaving Red Lake and she was already irritated that he had shown up now - and that it had taken him this long to do so as well. If he was going to follow them or end up at the same location, she wished he would have done it ages ago. "We're saving Riley," Jenna said bluntly. "And I know you'll think I'm naive, but I'm not scared of anything that's in this mine. I - we - can handle it."

She followed after Abe, noting the sense of evil that seemed to crawl up her back but it didn't scare her. There were things out there in the world that terrified her - but pure evil? It didn't, strangely. If anything, it just let her know that they were getting closer - that it wouldn't be long until they found Riley and put this entire mess behind them. Finley was going to be so mad that she was missing on this - but Jenna reminded herself that she didn't care and it wouldn't bother her anyways.

Miranda Burke

Location:Red Lake.
Interacting with: Olivia, Declan and Finley:

Miranda listened to what Olivia had to say, she sighed and she leant back in her seat looking at the blonde, there was a slight but thankful smile, but still she did feel bad for saying that her friends weren’t bothered and trusted them both to have her back and not let anything happen to her. Running her hand through hair Miri looked over at Oli once more. “I’ll stay and help the search, just promise you’ll look out for me okay, I don’t know what I would do without you sometimes”

With that Miranda secured her car again once more and got back out of the car, this time making sure she had a torch and phone handy if the blonde ever needed it, locking up the car Miri slowly spun round ignoring the fact that Finley and Dec had gone further away, maybe he would have told sense into that stupid girl. Miri opened her arms out and gave Oli a hug and a long soft kiss on the girl’s cheek. “Thank you.” She whispered as she looked at the woman in front of her. “Besides I think you look cute in wolf form.” She smiled more brightly like her normal self, looking over at the distant pair of ahead somewhere, Miri released the girl, resist the urge to give her another kiss. “Shall we?” She motioned ahead, for now she'll just have to tolerate Finley for the sake of Riley.

As Robin tried to turn back the creepy looking demon kid had reappeared in front of him, carrying an old looking pick axe that looked like it was rusted over as well. His eyes turned pure black and gave off an evil creepy laugh again, the pick axe started to drag itself along the ground. "You certainly cannot leave, Master Asmodeus wouldn't like that one bit." He said, the pick axe was a lot bigger than the demonic boy was. "Besides you would miss the show." He said blocking the only way back out of the mine.

Abraham looked at gave Jenna a weird look, but he technically wasn't her parent or grandparent as it were but regardless it was really dangerous to be down here alone. "Even if you did manage to save Riley, we are dealing with a much bigger demon than Siegfried." Abe said, as he sighed and shook his head. Then he turned around looking back over at the way that they had came, seeing Robin in the distance and someone else but he couldn't really tell. "Get back here kid!" Abe yelled loudly, and looked over at Kosara handing her the knife so that she could deal with the demonic kid.

"I know and totally understand it sucks, I may have had the same reaction." Declan said rubbing the back of his neck slightly looking at Finley as he started to walk alongside her towards the lake. In the distance there was someone else and a nearby looking cottage just by the lake. Which had been there for a very long time as well. Olivia looked over at Miranda and blushed slightly when she gave her a kiss on the cheek and smiled a bit. "Just don't get scratched by me, trust me its not fun." Olivia said towards Miranda and gave her a soft and friendly smile.

She leaned forward and gave her a rather quick kiss. "Hopefully there is a clue somewhere." Olivia said, as she started to catch up with Finley and Declan. In the distance she could also see someone by the old looking cottage by the lake, looking over at the others before making her way over towards it. When Olivia got there, she noticed that it was the PI rummaging through somethings in the cottage he was holding three identical items.

Heather

Location: Silver Mines
Interacting with: Jenna @Morose, Lydia @BlueSky44, Robin @McHaggis, Kosara @rivaan and Abe @Nallore

Heather was ready to follow Robin and had started to. He didn't need the excuses with her. She was ready to leave this place and let Abe deal with whatever it was that was going on. She just wanted to go home and have some tea and maybe work in her garden for a bit. How hard was that? Why was the world conspiring against her?

She was steps behind Robin when the creepy kid appeared. She squeaked. And reached out for Robin's hand. Abe was yelling at them to come back. "I don't know if we can get past him?"

She looked back at Abe and the others. There was too much talk about demons. "Abe I don't know if I can do this." Her voice cracked as she said it. She turned to the ghost boy and dove trying to get into the hole they had crawled through. Amazingly she was able to get past him. He probably didn't expect her to try. She was down into the crawl space before he could react. She could only hope that Robin would be able to sneak past the demon child on the other side. She went just far enough to give Robin room if he dared try.

Kosara Koleva

Location: Silver Mine
Interacting with: @Nallore Abe, @Kirah Heather, @McHaggis Robin,@Morose Jenna & @BlueSky44 Lydia

Kosara wanted to facepalm so damn badly right about now. These guys had no real idea what they were dealing with. Capturing a single demon, hah knowing enough to capture one wasn't a grand thing in itself. Capturing a demon was the easy part, dealing with one was the hard part. She highly doubted these fellas who never really dealt with the occult and hell before had any real idea of the gravity of the situation. Not until they see people torn open and their friends right in front of their eyes. It was only then that anyone could realize the real horror of what a demon could do to you.

As the situation unfolded more and one of the demons actually showed up, Kosara raised an eyebrow. A demon... with a rusty pickaxe. Was that boy joking with them? What was he doing, roleplaying as a miner? She rolled her eyes as she took the knife from Abe. Now she had a sheath with a sword on her belt and the special nifty knife in hand. She was well versed in knife fighting, in fact it was one of the first things she learned. In the modern world fighting with a knife was a lot easier to get away with than a sword. After all you got a lot of question by the police why you are carrying a sword around, it was hard to hide while knives could be hidden easy enough. Then there was the fact that dealing with demons was also her specialty.

“Hey there, demon.” She called as she approached the demon kid with a knife in hand, noting that Heather made a dash for it and actually got past. She dashed for the kid and before he could react, stabbed him right in the gut with the knife.” You see, my friends here want to exit and I don't approve of people stopping them.” She stated, welp so much for being a good doorman.

Jenna Westbrook

Location: the Silver Mine

"I know," Jenna said simply, as she looked at Abe. Sig-Bitch was just one of the worker grunts - his boss was the real evil. But he still didn't scare Jenna. The only thing to truly be afraid of was fear itself - and Jenna considered herself to be fearless, at least in this moment. One way or another, Riley was going to be rescued and she was going to leave Red Lake. She'd even consider recovery of Riley's body for a proper funeral to be a success - although not a great one. She wanted to see her friend escape from this nightmare alive.

Seeing that they were more concerned with what was behind them, Jenna glanced at Lydia and pressed on forward. She figured Kosara could handle whatever that child was - Jenna had assumed that he was a ghost, but she hadn't bothered poking him in order to check. If this was all about seeing some sadistic and twisted show the Demon Bitch Boss was about to put on, then Jenna was going to make sure she had a front row seat. These people could talk and talk about saving Riley in the abstract, but she was going to actually do something about it.

This was definitely an interesting situation, one that she never thought she'd find herself in. There was a lot of talk about demons and stuff, a lot of talk about things that she didn't understand or get. One thing was for sure, she now had a really good reason to get away from Red Lake if there's a bunch of demons in town. Like really, who knew that demons were a thing? Her cousin, the old man and the other woman clearly did, so it made her wonder just how many people in Red Lake did know about them. It was all so confusing.

The demon kid of course decided to make a reappearance, the little freak or whatever the hell he was. The child was definitely creepy, and apparently his master or whatever did not want anyone leaving the mines. Of course, even if this didn't involve demons or anything, when an evil little kid appears carrying an ax thing or whatever and you didn't really have much in the way of weapons, or at least most in the group didn't from what she could tell, you probably ought to listen. Lydia wasn't planning on arguing, but apparently the two who did know what they were doing did, so at least they were going to be able to deal with the kid hopefully soon.

Finley Alestair

Location: The Lake

Finley was, quite frankly, done talking about Miranda. In fact, she was more or less done with the stupid town and the idiots that inhabited it. Apart from a select few, and her grandparents, there was not much keeping her here. She wanted to go on the road. Find another city, perhaps start her own business. Maybe run a coffee shop of her own, do detective work on the side? That would be cool.

Mind in la la land, she picked back up when she noticed the PI in front of them at the cottage, holding something. It looked peculiar. Olivia caught up and Finley didn't bother to check if Miranda did too (she most likely was behind her too). "What do you think he has there?" Finley asked without waiting for response, making her way over to him. "Whatchu got there Inspector Gadget? Mind if I look?"
