"You know, fighting isnt all about seeing" Cody said, "its about listening too. I once read tht this blind guy could throw a knife, and hit a person without missing"

"Where did you read that?" Ruslan asked, jumping into the conversation. "You didn't mix the data up, did you?"

Katherin laughed at the image. She could not imagine herself holding a knife, let alone using one. While she did want to be more useful to the group, Katherin wasn't sure that giving her a weapon was the best way to increase their chances of winning. "So now your going to trust me with weapons? Good luck into talking Roxy into giving me a knife."

"I read it a while ago, why?" Cody said, then said, "you guys trusted me with a weapon. Why not you?"

"Because I can't see five feet in front of me, you can. But I am willing to try if you everyone thinks it's a good idea. I don't know what article you read, but I doubt the blind person was throwing their knife in battle conditions." Katherin replied. She was pleased that Cody thought she was worth teaching. Even if she still couldn't imagine herself armed.

"Nice joke, Cody. I died laughing," Ruslan replied sarcastically. But then he thinks a bit, and realizes that sight is not the only method of obtaining a target's position. If Katherin could manage to do so, then she would have an advantage instead, due to being able to know the target's position in the present and in the future. "Now tell me, Katherin, if I'm not saying anything right now, how would you know I'm here?" he asked.

"Only if I looked for you." Katherin replies. She wonders what Ruslan is trying to get at.

Cody blinked, the grinned, "using her future sight to see where someone will be, right?"

"No, I mean technically," Ruslan said, "Like Cody's explanation. Explain the workings you require to find us when we don't say anything. But is his explanation right?"

"I have found people using my sight. That is how I found Cassie and Sam. But they were far away. I have never tried to find someone who was physically close to me. I don't see why I couldn't." Katherin considered the possibility. It had never occurred to her to use her ability in that way.

"How far can youasee in the future? Can you do seconds or minutes?"

[KatherinWinter]

"I have never tried to look that close. I know I can see as close as an hour away." Katherin replied.

"I don't see why can't you see things near here and near now. All you need is to be able to control your powers precisely," Ruslan replied. If his theories are right, then that could very much happen.

"It couldn't hurt to try." Katherin shrugged. She wasn't sure why the idea had never entered her mind before. In a way it made sense that she could use her visions to see events that were happening in the near future. Passive visions generally got overpowered by violent or incense events. If she wanted to see something that was not an influential event she really had to look for it.

"Alright, try, see what Cassie will do in minutez" cody suggested.

Katherin took a deep breath and focused on Cassie. She knew Cassie was in the kitchen preparing food, because she could smell the soup. The picture was blurry and kept trying to jump to a different scene. Katherin's brow crinkles as she tried to focus on the scene. "It picture does not want to stay still. I think she is cutting bread.....and dropping soup. No...that isn't her...she is carrying soup."

"Of course I am, its ready, whats happening?" Cassie said, frowning and putting the soup down

"Trying to look at the near future. The boys wanted to see how close I could see. They are considering training me to use weapons." Katherin replies
