Edit #2: Okay, me and @Surtr talked out the faults in Madeline's CS sheet. So i made the needed changes, and hope that it's acceptable now.

APPEARANCE

Standing at 5'4, Madeline's fair skin, short brown hair, and blue eyes would make to think she could be of regal ancestry, but her lazy, casual, and partialy apathetic personality says otherwise.

She's normally seen wearing hoodies and tanktops with pastel colors, due to her being a walking solar pannel. With her formal wear being no different, with a leather jacket in place. She's never seen without her boots, changing pertaining to the current.

If one could look hard enough, they would see old burn scars on her skin. Madeline wont say how she got them, but you might already know either way. She has ear, nose, and mouth piercings, but is never seen with all three on. She has a slim build, keeping her weight in check.

PSYCHOLOGY

"No, I haven't been in an asylum, thanks for asking."

MAIN GOAL ⫻ Her main goal in life is to become a lawyer. She wants to, at the very least, have some sort of a living from a job branching out from one of her hobbies.

PHILOSOPHY ⫻ Madeline concluded that everyone in the world is born an idiot, one way or another.

SECRETS ⫻ She tries to hide her burn scars from childhood, afraid it'll make her seem like a weakling and coward. Madeline also has a form of PTSD, which tends to make her cautious when it comes to handling fire.

DESIRES ⫻ Other than a bag of hot chips, Madeline wishes to live an upscale life in the future.

SEXUALITY ⫻ No preference. If there even is one.

FEARS ⫻ Madeline is afraid of fire, enclosed spaces, and being concidered a coward. She's also afraid of dogs, but no one really knows why.

REPUTATION ⫻ Talk of the town has made her "The Ghost of Farmer Hill", from her "Dying" and "Coming back to life" a week later in her childhood.

PET PEEVES ⫻ In an ironic twist, people who bombard others with questions. Oh, and having to deal with bugs before she does something, like sleep.

QUIRKS ⫻ She tends to draw on her arms, mostly simple stuff like music notes, and tends to drum on flat surfaces when she's bored.

BACKSTORY

"What? I'm not dead."

Once upon a time, back when she was a child,
Madeline had lived an almost simple life. She was an orphan, living in a small run of the mill orphanage in Denver, Colorado.

From what she was told, her biological parents supposedly died, drowning from a hurricane flood, and the intended guardian she was to be given to was in no shape to take care of her. So Madeline was taken in by The Redwood Orphanage.

She spent most of her time alone, trying to learn how play the instruments that were allow to the children. The one she liked to play most was the piano, branching to her hobby today. Yet she still managed to gain some friends over the years.

Then one day, when she was 7, she was finally adopted by a family of a mom, dad, and a pair of older twin siblings . Life seemed to improve then. When they moved to Farmer Hill, she got decent grades in school, she improved on playing the piano, and gain an interest in gaming. Her parents, working as a waiter and waitress, were constantly working, so she was left alone with her siblings for most of the time.

One day, when she was 14 however, things seemed to take a drastic turn. When Madeline, her mother, and her sister went into town to shop, they had accidentaly hit a gasoline truck, resulting in the vehicle exploding into flames.

While her mother and siblings bodies were pulled out of the rubble, she was no where to be found, so Madeline was asummed dead.

When in reality, she was able to pull herself out of the car. Burnt and bleeding, Madeline was able to limp to the nearest family member, and was taken to the hospital, where she was treated and recovered.

Three years later, Madeline returned home.

Aparently, her mother survived the crash too, but her sister died from one of the car parts puncturing her lungs. She tried to get her life back on track after so, but will still, and always be, the ghost of Farmer Hill.

SKILLS & TALENTS

Gaming ⫻ A console gamer, she mostly plays horror and shooter games in her freetime.

Piano ⫻ Self taught, Madeline can play the piano by here. According to her, trying to follow music sheets was hard for her when she was a kid.

Hunting ⫻ Sometimes, Madeline and her brother go out to hunt deer and such for sport.

ABSTRACTION ⫻ Self-Healing, a restorative energy flows through Maddie that repairs all of her wounds, and resets her to a certain point.

ABSTRACTION DESCRIPTION ⫻ To reflect her thoughts of coming back to life, Madeline's abstraction gifted her the ability to heal at an accelerated rate using the same mystical force that flows through all the Awakened. Whenever she gets an injury, no matter how minor, it'll begin to glow with a mystical blue light that'll engulf it. After a few moments the light will fade, and the wound is healed. Depending on how severe the wound, the longer it'll take to heal. A stab wound would require, at most, ten minutes, while a broken leg would need an hour of healing. Anything smaller than that would either instantly regenerate, or take only a few moments. Any of Maddie's physical injuries can be healed (except for one type of injury). Long as she can survive it, she can effectively heal from anything. In addition, she can also heal from attacks dealt to the mind, or her emotions.

IN THE PRESENCE OF THE MOUNTAIN ⫻ When in the mountain's grace, her healing rate doubles. A stab wound takes five minutes, while a broken limb requires half an hour. Again, she'll near-instantly heal from anything smaller than that. In addition, she can pass on her healing energy to other people, and heal their wounds (albeit at a much slower rate).

AURA SENSING ⫻ Reflecting her fear of fire, Madeline can see the auras of things (objects and people) that have been burnt by fire up to 34meters of herself. The clarity depends on how badly they've been burnt. If it was only lightly, then she can only barely see it. If it was burnt to a crisp, then she can see very clearly. Only thing is that, due to Maddie's fear of fire, her aura reading actively cuts off if it is currently in flames.

LIMITS ⫻ Obstruction is the biggest limit to her self-healing. If there is an object in the way, then Maddie cannot heal it until the object is removed from her being. Speed is also the other limit; there isn't a limit to how much Maddie can heal at a time, but only how quickly she can do it. In addition, Maddie can still be knocked out, suffocated, etc.

WEAKNESSES ⫻ Fire is a big weakness for Maddie, not only does it disrupt her aura-reading, but it also disrupts her healing ability. When in the presence of fire, her healing slows down - and if it's an injury caused by fire, she actively cannot heal it any faster than any other wound. The process of healing is also a painful one, that'll make her feel twice the amount of pain as she heals.

A face unknown to most of the younger residents of Farmer's Hill, Kenny Ward was a native of the town who later on in life would go on to become the successful owner of KW&Co Haulage with contacts dotted around the North-West US. A stocky man with clean-shaven sandy blonde hair and blue eyes, he carries a distinct appearance for those who know him - though these days around town that's few and far between, with most of his time spent on the move.

Also a native of the town, Vivian spent her younger years working for various reputable companies on the Pacific Coast until she met and married an LAPD officer and now administers the Farmer's Hill depot for KW&Co Haulage on her brother's behalf. Despite her less than imposing appearance, she's shown herself to be a competent administrator and has managed to keep the family business in good order since taking on the mantle.

Description:
An 5'11 african american of heavyset build, wearing a close-cropped beard and his hair equally short. Quentin spent his younger years as an officer with the Los Angeles Police Department, until at his wife's request, he moved with her from the buzzing environment of the city to a new, calmer (and better paying) life in Farmer's Hill, taking up a new position with the local Sheriff's Department to fill the void left behind from his beat cop days. He's a man hardened both by personal and professional experiences in the past, but it's typically kept hidden behind a friendly, relaxed demeanour - though one can tell from a glance that he's dedicated to his work to a fault, much to his wife's chagrin.
