Jen sits in a chair as her Pokémon are in tip top shape. “Maybe we get a chance to Mantine surf again another time.” Jen says as Maui is sniffing the place outas Aura stays close by her trainer’s side.

"Well, when we complete the trials on this island we can Mantine Surf to Poni Island," Shiranui replied.

"Sounds good to me." Chuck said. "For now, let's find the next trial."

Joy informed them that there was a trail at the observatory, and told them how to get there.
"Well, long time no see," said a voice from behind the heroes. Liam turned around to see his old river, Trevor standing there. He was wearing a sky blue v-neck shirt that featured the likeness of Poppilo. "Alola!" He replied with a smile.
It's been too long." He said.

"Hello, I'm Chuck North, who are you?" Chuck asked, offering his hand.

“Alola,” Jen says not know who this guy is but he is friends with Liam. Maui sniffs Trevor as Aura gold spikes twitch to be a warning don’t get close to my trainer as Jen pets Aura’s head. “My name is Jen, show Maui away if he is bothering you.”

Sashia looked at the new member, "Aww, you guys have So many friends" she said before saying " Aloha Trevor, my name is Sashia Fertar, it's nice to meet you"

Liam explained that this was his rival when they started off their journies once upon a time and that Trevor used to be determined to outshine him in any way that he could.
After saying "Alola" to everyone, Trevor commented that he had just been to Kalos and he took 8th in the Vetress Conference and noted that the girl who won the tournament lost to the first member of Kalos' Elite Four, He was indeed taking the trials as well, having already defeated one of the two on the island.

"Nice to meet you Trevor, I recently made 1st in the Indigo League, beat the Elite Four, but barely lost to Shiranui in the end." Chuck said, shaking his hand. "We just arrived to the island, and are making our way to the first trial."

"It's nice to meet you as well," Trevor commented, also saying that it is amazing that he barely lost to Shiranui, as he is a tougth trainer.
"Well, be sure you stay grounded during the fight," Trevor said. "You don't want to go flying off the handle. I did and I had to try twice to beat the trial." With that he walked out of the center to make his way to the next trial.

"Maybe someday you'll find I can be quite the tough trainer myself." Chuck said with a smirk. Curious, Cosmo peeked from Chuck's back, looking at everyone.

Jen feels a little left as she never battle in a League but she is a ststrong Pokémon trainer. “Nice meeting you Trevor,” Jen says thinking she can’t believe she made so many friends in Allola.

"Maybe someday you'll find I can be quite the tough trainer myself." Chuck said with a smirk. Curious, Cosmo peeked from Chuck's back, looking at everyone.

Shiranui spotted Cosmo. "Chuck, who is your new friend?"

"Hm?" Chuck asked, looking behind him to see Cosmo peeking out. When Chuck sees him, Cosmo smiles and calls out "Cos!" Chuck sighed and said "I guess you can come on out Cosmo, guess I can't keep you hidden." "Cos!" Cosmo calls out again, hopping out of the bag. "This is Cosmo, apparently it's a Cosmog, and may be an Ultra Beast. I found it at the Aether Foundation before Nihilego appeared. He was being chased by a couple of the Aether Foundation members, so I suggested he hide in my bag and come with me. I figured something might have been going on, so I decided to keep him hidden."

"Probably a good idea," Liam commented. Liam's Pokémon were returned to him and he contacted Prof Oak to get some of his Alolan catches back.

“I am glad that it is not shivering in fear anymore,” Jen says as she looks at Cogsmog. She makes sure she have all the items in her bag before the leave the Pokémon center.

"It seems particularly afraid of the Ultra Beasts." Chuck said. "Then again, it's not really strong itself. It only knows Splash and Teleport."

"That's understandable," Liam commented. "But, let's not worry about the Ultra Beasts until one of them shows up."

"Exactly. For now let's just get to that trial." Chuck said, ushering Cosmo back into his bag.
