"I'm sorry Chuck, but you have not left me with many choices," Liam activates the Z Ring as he and Smaug are enveloped in energy. Smaug channeled Blast Burn into a Z Move. "Inferno Overdrive!" The powerful attack was hurled toward Celestellia While Goodra came out and tried to grab onto Chuck to restrain him with a hug.

"Why are you defending this scum? He deserves everything he gets for what he did to those Vulpix! If you're defending him, then you're accepting what he's done. That is unforgivable! Christa, Heavy Slam, no mercy!" Chuck shouted. The Celesteela swung it's massive body down.

"I don't 'accept' what he has done!" Liam protested. "But killing him is crossing a line." Smaug moved out of the way. Liam had one last ace up his sleeve, but he had to put his conscious aside for it. "Goodra! Grab Chuck and don't let go, Bastille Hypnosis on Chuck." Liam was broken up about the sentence he had to utter.

"Yuugou, intercept that Heavy Slam!" Shiranui sent his Metang out and Yuugou floated over and started pushing Christa back with all their might. The determination to not let Christa's attack cause enough damage to be lethal triggered Yuugou's evolution. In the bright glow, Yuugou gained two more limbs and the glow subsided to reveal a Metagross. Shiranui activated the keystone on his Z-Power Ring and Yuugou's Metagrossite reacted. The Metagross became a Mega Metagross and the small disparity in weight allowed Yuugou to stop Christa's attack.

Ashika was glad to see Bastille help out in her effort to make Chuck fall asleep and thus upped the relaxing cadence of her song.

"Azriel!" Chuck called out and his Alakazam teleported in. Chuck activated his own Z-Ring and the Alakazam mega evolved into Mega Alakazam first neutralizing the sleep-inducing moves with Safeguard, then Ally Switch to swap places with Christa, combating the Mega Metagross in a battle of the minds, while Christa's Heavy Slam continued.

"Nayamashii, Inferno Overdrive at Christa!" Shiranui sent his Salazzle out and activated the Firium Z on his Z-Power Ring before performing the dance. Nayamashii channelled her Fire Blast into the Z-Move and let loose a torrent of blue-hot flames at Christa. Shiranui didn't know if Christa could survive two Inferno Overdrives, but he was confident that Azriel could not beat what was essentially a living octa-core supercomputer.

"It may be a supercomputer, but it can't read the future. Azriel can, their battle has already been decided." Chuck said. Meanwhile, Christa countered the Z-move with it's own powerful Flamethrower.

"You're right about the battle being decided," Shiranui rebutted, "Just not in Azriel's favour—can a Mega Alakazam read hundreds of quadrillions of possible futures every second?" Nayamashii pushed through Christa's Flamethrower and amidst the flames said something to the Celesteela through the move Confide, hoping to break Christa's concentration enough for the Salazzle's attack to land.

"Doesn't matter how many futures he calculates when Azriel knows the only true future. You lost the moment you strayed from the path of justice." Azriel grabbed on to the Metagross as he used Ally Swap again, swapping himself and the Metagross with Christa as the Salazzle's Z-Move collided with the steel psychic. To add insult to injury, Azriel hit it with a Fowl Play, having Traced the Mega Metagross's own Tough Claws, and using it's own strength against it. Meanwhile, Christa began taking in the sun's rays, getting ready for a massive attack.

Elisa witnessed the madness of human once more as she growled loudly before diving into the battle going on. "ENOUGH HUMAN'S" she growled as her Nine tails glowed brightly as she step in the middle of the dueling teams and forced them apart as the ground around her answer the call of it Frozen queen as ice would be blasted at all battles and trainers. The blizzard would pick up as well hindering everyone view.

The interruption to the battle along with the sudden drop in temperature made Shiranui realise he had been getting as riled up as Chuck was when the latter had not been listening to reason. He performed the kuji-kiri to calm himself down although it had barely worked as he was on the verge of breaking down before he felt a consoling paw on his shoulder compliments of Zoro. "Thank you, Elisa, I needed that," he said.

Liam saw the perpetrator regain consciousness and start to try and crawl away. Liam sent out Oliver the Decidueye to block his escape path."Oh, no. You aren't going anywhere except for jail"

"But first," Shiranui added, "Where's the rest of your syndicate and why murder these Vulpix and Ninetales?" Zoro growled menacingly at the perpetrator while Nayamashii cremated the Vulpix corpses.

While Liam and Shinranui were dealing with the pouchers, Elisa had been join by recovered Alohan Vulpix and Alohan Ninetails to prevent Chuck and his team from doing anything. If Chuck were smart, he would need to calm down and not attack them. Alohan Ninetails had not been mistaken for goddess for no reason.

Jen had to watch her friends fight each other in battle against each other. She let out Sliver her Butterfree and lands on Chuck’s head and use Sleep Powder. Aura stands next to Elisa, the Alolan Ninetailed, and Alolan Vulpix reach to punch some sense in him. “I am not talking where my friends are, Ninetailes and Vulpix fur go for big money on the black market,” the Poacher says as Maui bites his butt. “His friends froze to death under the snow,” Jen says as Moana brings her a frozen hand.

Shiranui felt nauseous at the sight of the frozen hand. "Oh they did, did they?" he asked rhetorically before addressing the poacher, "If the black market got wind of your syndicate becoming Vulpix and Ninetales chow, you would be lucky if you got any money from your venture at all." He pulled out his smartphone and placed a call to the nearest Officer Jenny, informing her of poachers on Mt. Lanakila. He told her that all of them were dead bar one.

Chuck's eyes rolled into the back of his head and he collapsed into the snow, his shadow extending and the Mythical Pokémon, Marshadow, appearing out of his shadow.

Shiranui heard the collapse and when he looked over at Chuck, he saw Marshadow. He pulled out his Pokédex and scanned it. "Marshadow, the Gloomdweller Pokémon. It slips into the shadows of others and mimics their powers and movements. As it improves, it becomes stronger than those it’s imitating."
"Could this Marshadow explain Chuck going berserk?" he wondered.
