I came to Earth as a visitor with no name, or purpose. So far, I have found fear, hate, and in many ways tragedy. So why is it, despite all the fear directed my way, I desire not to return those expectations, but to prove them wrong. Maybe this makes me more human, than you.Name: XT-001
Alias: 'Extinction Machine' Given to him by the Daily Scope Newspaper, despite his many claims that he is nothing of the sort.
Age: 1 Week Since he landed on Earth
Gender: None, but given Male pronouns.
Occupation: None
Abilities: + Unique: XT-001 is not from human origin. As such, he is a completely alien machine. His body is made up of a kind of metallic crystal, with a recorded toughness of a 7 on Mohs Hardness Scale. (Roughly the same level as steel.) The strange crystalline design of his body allows him to adjust his form as required. This works into his weapon development ability.
+ Weapon Development: XT-001's design is such that his body develops weapons to deal with threats. In particular his go to weapon is a long range laser system. Either a part of his adaptive body rearranges itself to become a weapon, or his faceplate acts at the energy emitter. In particular he can fire beams of concussive force. These beams can tear through stone, and break bones on impact. The concussive forces could be compared to a rhino crashing into a person.
The rest of his body is just as flexible in design. Due primarily to the adjustable design of his body. His arms can stretch out, or even develop into a sword or axe. Close range weapons of all sorts, despite his lack of hand to hand talent.
+ Flight: Human gravity is meaningless to XT-001 when he wishes it. His system adapting after a run in with a jet, and thus gaining flight capabilities. Thought fairly simple, it will be stream-lined later.
+ Superior Intellect: Since arriving at Earth, XT-001 has met with the Earth Military. He has even met their most powerful supercomputer, and in a matter of hours managed to shrink it down to the size of a hand-held device. XT-001 is truely brilliant, despite his... Issues with peoples.
Weaknesses: - Magnets: Powerful magnets seem to be the only weakness of XT-001 at the moment. Though other methods may be discovered. For the time, it seems his adaptive body still takes times to adjust to threats, and there is a gape between anaylzing and finding the proper defense that can be used to attack him.
- Multi Directional Defense Flaw: His system can only adapt and defend against one force of trauma at a time. Rapidly switching between various types of defense wears his system down, leaving him open to further attacks.
- Naivety: As a new comer to Earth, XT-001 is fairly naive regarding human customs. Thus, he is still learning.
- Hacking: His technology is very alien. But a good hacker with enough time could probably do some chaos to his systems.
Equipment: None
Bio:Humanity wasn't ready for the day the sky fell. Two miles out of Maximum City fell a cube. It was solid, like a chunk of a meteor but there wasn't a scratch on it. People gathered, touching it, prodding it, and then came the military. They quarantined the area, pushing the people away. But still the people came. They watched from a distance as the cube sat there. Until... Hour two. It was slow, but slowly the cube began to shrink. It compressed, bit by bit until it stopped, and began to fall apart. There, standing in the midst of it was a machine. When the military pointed guns it didn't care, and the came the first question.
"What is this language you're speaking?"
"English, I think."
"You think? You are not sure of what language this is. Until I know more, I shall take this as... Possible."
Slowly, more people approached, and the military couldn't stop them. More questions came from the machine, and people answered. Then came the fear. The questioning. The wonder. What was this thing? Where did it come from. Could it be trusted?
The Military reached a final conclusion. No, it couldn't. Further armed personal arrived, surrounding the extraterrestrial and demanding it come with them. It seemed for a moment he would comply, until a man named Jim Jimmy Jimeson stepped in. A lawyer, fresh out of school with a brilliant idea. After all, machines aren't covered under the foreign policy or immigration standards. While this prompted immediate political discourse, the world changed in a day.
Local Billionaire Miles Merendez took an interest in Jim and XT-001's situation, and invited them for the time being to live in the penthouse of one of his suites. The building itself, has since become a hive of media interest, surrounded daily by many seeking to see the marvelous machine that came to Earth. And what he will do.
Relationships: Jim Jimmy Jimeson: The current and so far only friend of XT-001. He was the lawyer who arrived at the scene, preaching that the machine should be applicable for certain rights.
Miles Merendez: XT-001 has only met Miles twice. Miles is a billionaire located in Maximum City. He has shown a drastic interest in XT-001, and wants to support him gaining his rights. He has provided XT-001 with an entire penthouse.
