Personality: Many would say Haven is a hot headed mess. Due to her werewolf genes, she has a very short temper that can go off with just the slightest wrong word. Most people can’t handle that fact about her and stop being her friend the moment she goes off on them. Because of this she keeps to herself and throws herself into her school work. It also doesnt help she is a lesbian, so most girls are a little weirded out being her friend because they think she will hit on them. She is very book smart and gets the highest grades in her class most of the time. Deep down she wants to be friendlier, but is afraid of trying to get close to people since she can fly off the hat so easily. School and one on one sessions have been helping her with this, just not as much as she would have liked. She is very loyal, though people tend not to know this. If she calls someone her friend she will fight to the death for them. Haven has a strong love for music because it helps her control herself and just makes life feel better in general. She loves her family, but it is not wise to speak of the older brother that passed away years ago. She is very sensitive about this subject, and as for why she is, no one except for her family knows. Haven is very polite when she first speaks with people, which causes general confusion for most of the people that know her in school. They often refer to her as Dr. Jekyll and Mrs. Hyde since she is nice at the beginning and then will all of a sudden snap.

She has a very strong bond with her wolf hybrid, Mystic and can often be seen talking to the wolf when she has free time on campus.

Bio: Being as Haven doesn’t often talk with people, not many really know her past. The biggest things that are known about her is that her father was an outcast wolf from a pack in Tennessee. He stole away the daughter of the alpha wolf and got her kicked out of the pack as well. They are now known as lone wolves and are not spoken to by any of the members of the pack. It is also known that she had a brother by the name of Conner and that he died when she was 14. He was a little older than her, but it is not known exactly how he died.

She is rather new at the school and has only been there a few weeks. People have already tested her patience and because of that she has recieved one notice for fighting. A girl came up to speak to her and ended up saying the wrong words, which got her smacked hard in the face with a book, breaking her nose. Haven has been told fighting is not tolerated at the school and she will be kicked out if it continues. She has tried to generally stay away from people ever since and instead spends most of her time with animals or with her nose in a book.

Power 1: Along with the amazing gift to turn into a wolf, Haven still possesses other abilities as well. She has the ability to manipulate and control shadows. She can use this to not only mask herself when she is trying to be stealthy, but also in combat situations to partially blind people or even suffocate people.

Power 2: She can speak to animals and summon them for assistance if needed. The way she speaks to them is different from the way she speaks to her wolf hybrid. With Mystic they can have a full out comversation, but that is not possible with the other animals. They cant speak to her physically, but they understand her and will do as she commands. She can sense animals within a 2 mile radius of herself and summon them aid her when needed.

Family: Her family consists of her mother and father, David and Cosima Castle. She also had an older brother by the name of Conner, but he unfortunately died when they were younger.

Friends: She doesn’t have many friends as she normally keeps to herself. It isn’t that she doesn’t like people it is the fact she is so easily set off by things that she just keeps to herself to make things easier. Last time someone approached her and said the wrong thing, she ended up almost taking their head off with a book.

Sentimental Attachment: She keeps a necklace that used to belong to her brother. It is just a simply chain with a ring that used to belong to their father. The ring is simply a silver band their last name engraved on the inside.

Weapon: She never finds a need for a weapon as she considers herself a weapon.

Other: She has a southern accent from living in Tennessee for the better part of her life.

Pet Personality: Mystic doesn’t typically like anyone besides her owner. Haven has had her since she was a pup and the two bonded immediately, especially given the creature Haven herself is. She sticks very closely with her owner and will growl and show teeth to whoever gets within 5 feet of Haven. She never attacks unless told or if Haven attacks someone first, she will jump in and aid her. With Haven she acts like a regular warm and loving dog, who is very loyal and does anything she is commanded.

Pet Power 1: Is able to communicate with her owner like a normal person.
Pet Power 2: Can feel Haven’s emotions and can project her own emotions to Haven.

Also, she is a werewolf with the power to turn into a werewolf? You don’t need you mention her natural abilities. I’d recommend changing your powers otherwise she’ll never Ever Ever survive.

Haha okay! I wasn't sure if she was allowed to have more powers being as she already is able to turn into a wolf and has the enhanced strength and speed. I will think of another power for her to have.

And I will down the scale the fighting. Would she have been able to get warnings on the first one or two fights and now is on her last warning before she is kicked out?

Igni stands at a mere 5'5", horns included. Which doesnt really make her the most intimidating presence. It doesnt help that she has quite the lithe form as well. Granted, one should never judge a book by its cover; especially not in a magical academy!

Aside from her horns, Igni also sports a whip-like tail that is just long enough to drag across the floor if she slacks it. Curiously enough, much like with cats and dogs, her tail is an excellent gauge for her current mood.

Personality:
Growing up on a farm left Igni to grow up as quite the tomboy. She detests the idea of being seen as girly (even if deep down she would probably enjoy it a little) and prefers to be seen as 'one of the guys'.

She was always an unruly child, preferring to leave her chores to the last minute (or even completely undone if they were too boring) to instead play around in the surrounding forest.

Has a habit of sounding her thoughts, even if it might be considered a bit rude.

Will vehemently deny that she cried when she left the village she grew up in to attend the academy.

Bio:
Some people think all demons are the embodiment of evil. Igni is the living proof that this claim is as false as pigs having the ability to fly.

"Born" into a cultist couple's family through a summoning ritual, she grew up in a relatively normal manner. The couple in question had difficulties conceiving a child and in the end resorted to dark arts to procure a demonic child, who they raised as their own. So in a sense, Igni has no idea who her real parents are...

The family were known cultist, but werent the bad sort of people. They never resorted to the nasty business of human sacrifices or attempting to summon the Demon King himself into this world. In fact, the nearby village often employed their dark arts for various tasks, such as fixing buildings after a particularly devastating storm, or to defend the town again encroaching monsters, or battle debilitating diseases. Magic is, after all, only as evil as the people using it, and you were hard pressed to find kinder people than the Kairn homestead.

When her fire manipulation abilities started to manifest, her parents tried their hardest to help the girl control her power. But after having set fire to the barn for the third time, they came to the conclusion that Igni needed professional help... So with the help of the village gathering the funds needed, they shipped Igni off to the academy.

Power: Fire manipulation. This includes conjuring fire, controlling fire and in some cases even causing violent explosions. Probably has the highest rank in fire manipulation among the freshmen.

Likes: Fire, explosions, shiny objects, breaking the rules, cats & dogs, geography, history, nature, bugs
Dislikes: The cold, holy magic, math, doing/wearing girly things, rules, sitting still for too long

Family: "Adoptive" parents. Real parents are unknown to her.

Sentimental Attachment: A simple silver locket that was given to her by her mother, has a picture of the Kairn family in it from when she was roughly 5 years old. Igni is reluctant to show people, since she doesn't like showing people her young self (she looked adorable).

Personality:
Ash is a broken soul, tortured by the hauntings of his past and left now with a severe inability to interact well around most people. He is often seen as an aloof, scared, sometimes pitiful person, often times seen cowering from some unseen tormentor. He has been through a significant amount of trauma which has shaped this behavior, beatings, neglect, and to an extent torture at the hands of his own pack, his eventual escape and subsequent enrollment was seen as an oppurtunity by his adoptive family to try and rehabilitate him and give him the chance at a normal life.

Bio:
Ash was born into a purist werewolf pack, they were distrustful of anyone but their own and they tended to be more wolf than man. Ash was small as a child, and because of that he would be left out of meals and kicked around by the other, much larger wolves, his parents had even given up hope on him truly, he managed to survive day to day with scraps of whatever he could find and eventually the pain began. Ash was attacked and beaten for nothing more than being small, scars lined his body before he was ten, but it was when he discovered his ability that things progressed.
Ash took a deep breath before the teeth would sink into him, but all he felt was a little pressure, no pain, as he looked to the other wolf, he saw that his body was covered in some kind of armor, bone-like plates covered him head to toe, he was shielded from the attacks for the first time. The joy of his defense was not long lived, the wolves took it as a challenge, they all tried to break the plates, they tried to remove them no matter how painful it was to Ash, even with the power he had they were stronger, they could still toss him about all they wanted. Ash howled in pain as they tore at him trying to break past the scales and with nothing but primal fear in his eyes, Ash took a swing at the others and got to his feet, he charged at them as fast as he could and drove himself into the head of the nearest wolf, the cracking sound was audible, the wolf lay unconscious and bleeding, Ash wasted no time, he bolted and didn't stop until his legs gave out, breathless he lay on the ground, the plates retracted and his form reverted to his human shape.
It had been a year or two since the Ventri family found Ash, they were everything he had never had, stability, safety, love, everything that he had never had before, and now they were telling him they had gotten him into a school, somewhere he could learn more of the world and make friends that he could keep for a lifetime, but he was scared, they could be like the pack as well, brutal, and unkind. Only time would tell, he trusted his newfound family enough to go to this school, but he new what he could do now, and he had been practicing, he would break through anything that tried to hurt him now.

Power 1: Armadillo Cloak: Ash has the ability to encase himself in highly durable chitinous plates, these plates can protect him from most forms of damage, though they can be ripped off painfully.
Power 2: Deep Impact: Ash uses deep impact to compliment the Cloak, it allows him to alter the kinetic energy around him effectively giving himself more force or decelerating incoming attacks.
Likes:
Nice food: his time in the pack left him with a lust for fine foods and flavors having never had the opportunity before.
Electronic Music: New pop, electrobrass, dubstep, it's all really interesting to him.
Reading: Things that you would find boring or strange, all of it is interesting for someone that has never had it.

Dislikes:
Shouting: as with many of these they stem from his past trauma.
Violence: It is a last resort for him, and his panic leads in to react with his head.
Tight Spaces: He is very claustrophobic.

Family: Milo Ventri and Ana Ventri, they are a pair of hunters that stumbled upon the young man in the forest, they chose to take him in and do all they could to help the boy recover.

Other: He has learned quite well to manipulate his body to take advantage of this ability, he has learned to transfer his momentum to get the most impact, also if I wasn't clear, the ability works in both forms.

Dawn is of a rather unimposing sort, standing at 4’11 with a slim, almost elfish build. Her skin is pale to a point that borders on unhealthy, and her eyes, which are a soft grey, are ringed with dark circles. Her hair is thick and black, and hangs well below her hips- and, as such, it isn’t uncommon to see it tied up into a neat side plait, so as to better keep it out of the way.

Her choice of attire is almost formal, largely consisting of cardigans and neatly pressed skirts or dress pants- although it shifts from time to time, depending on weather and situation. She usually tops her whole ensemble off with a large sunhat. Given how she prefers the color black in her wardrobe above anything else, it isn’t uncommon for it to seem as if Dawn is on her way to a funeral.

Personality:
By nature, Dawn is a gentle soul, soft-spoken and polite towards friends and strangers alike. She attempts to be respectful towards most by default- until they merit otherwise, that is- and, around friends, will often break out of her usual somber personality and act much more openly lively. In addition, while usually composed and naturally serious, she will often become flustered if taken aback or embarrassed. She tends to have a rather dry sense of humor for the most part, and becomes frigid to the point of holding long-lasting grudges when genuinely angered.

While Dawn has a strong code of ethics, she is also a woman of logic and her own observations. When an unfamiliar situation arises, she will often do her best to wrap her head about it, asking questions or simply watching to gain information.

Bio:
Dawn was born the second child of the Memoli family- a rather infamous lineage among the magical community, seeped in countless centuries of blood and money. Its roots had begun somewhere in Urbino, Italy, serving as condottieri under one Fedrico da Montrefeltro. It was when Montrefeltro inevitably met his end that the Memolis discarded their old code of honor, taking up a path of quietly greased palms and performing little favors here and there. While the family had claimed to have settled from their rather notorious lifestyle some odd hundred years ago, they’re still regarded with a somewhat suspicious eye.

The Memoli daughter spent her life at the brunt of overprotection and grooming to live up to her family title- something that only worsened after her older brother cut ties. In a somewhat ironic twist, Dawn found herself doing the same thing after she was old enough, moving far from home and taking up the trade of a private investigator. Her family’s reputation haunted her like a shroud- especially when she first got into the business- but after some time, she managed to find her stride.

Her interest in the Academy, and the admission that resulted, was based upon two things. There was the desire to brush up on her magics as one might expect, and something...other. Namely, a burning curiosity about the place. It was shrouded in mystery, offering more questions than answers.

And Dawn very well intends to find these answers.

Power 1: Psychic Dawn can pick up on the thoughts and feelings of other people, and if she so wishes, project her own onto others as well. This power is almost constantly active, giving her a sort of radio of surface thoughts and the like. It’s possible for her to probe deeper into a person’s head- digging for specific memories, or to read deeper than the surface thoughts- but not only is this experience highly unpleasant for the person on the receiving end (unless they happened to have invited Dawn in), but Dawn herself finds it terribly invasive, and prefers not to do it if possible. Another facet of her psychic abilities is that Dawn can “persuade” a target into feeling different emotions, seeing what she wishes them to see, perform certain actions, and so on. This isn’t failproof, and the target can resist- especially if they’re aware of what she’s doing, but a battle of willpower is possible.
